Iwa, or Stone, is a village as solid as its name. The rocky mountain ranges that surround the village and country provide a natural stronghold and serve as testament to Iwa's defensive prowess. The village itself sits among a mountain range consisting of small narrow waterfalls and sharp rock, with the buildings being composed of the strongest stone, shaped from large, elevated formations of rock into tower-like structures. Many of its buildings sit on cliffs connected by a network of bridges. As part of a Major Nation, the village leader is referred to as 'Tsuchikage', or 'Earth Shadow'.
