Hello, and welcome back!
First off, chances are you'll notice a lot of changes have been made to various portions of the forum. The most notable will probably be the removal of the "domain" systems from all technique trees, the new template for jutsu, and the removal and addition of some techniques.
I'd like to inform you, the players, that (unfortunately) we are still not complete in this drastic transition. I'd hoped that we would be able to finish everything before opening the doors back up to you all, but it simply didn't appear to be in our cards. So, with that said, even as the sight is back open for writing, you will more than likely have to alter some of the techniques in your bio.
However, in an attempt to forgo you the hassle of "revamping" constantly, players need only edit the bios accordingly. This means that if\when we alternate a technique, you won't need to go through the lengthy process of being re-approved simply to swap out techniques. Simply edit your bio, by yourself, and be done with it. If a technique is deleted, however, you'll still need to post your refund thread in the Shop section.
Moving on from that, I'd like to talk about a special promotion we'll be doing for a limited time. With all of these changes, we'd like to give you, the players, an opportunity to start fresh.
Until the end of December (31st), players will be able to completely remake one of their characters. This means that you can essentially take all of the EXP your account currently has and put it toward an entirely new character (the old character is essentially "destroyed" in the process). Were you a Hyuuga and now you want to be an Uchiha? Go for it! Were you a ninja without a kekkei genkai and now you want to be a Sasanagi? Have fun! This is a complete make-over of a single character, so that you can perhaps better position yourself to create new stories with all of these alterations.
For players who have bested the trials and tribulations of quests to obtain truly remarkable items, this process is even sweeter for you. Players with any Kinjutsu or relic (which are equivalent to Kinjutsu in rarity) will be able to exchange said jutsu or items for another. This means that a player possessing a Kinjutsu may trade it in for a different Kinjutsu; likewise, a player with a relic made trade their relic in for a Kinjutsu (we will not be allowing swap outs on relic to relic; sorry!).
Unfortunately, for players with multiple relics, you will only be able to make this exchange once (meaning one Kinjutsu or relic). Likewise, your character must fall within the restrictions of the Kinjutsu you wish to obtain.
It should be noted that all transactions made are final, and that you cannot undo this once you've decided to go through with it. So please, make sure you are sure this is what you want to do before going through with the transaction.
Looking to the Future
You should expect our indexes to gain some weight as we will be adding in a lot of the techniques from the series that we do not currently have here (this is also something we've been doing during this major restoration). The majority of the cool, awesome techniques you've seen will be here for your usage shortly!
But beyond that, Administration will be focusing more heavily on creating interactive universal plots for the entirety of the forum to partake in. So, expect a lot coming in this New Year, and I hope to see what you all have in store for us, as well.[/blockquote]
