The blades of vengeances have fallen swiftly. The shinobi are no more as 'Absolute Justice' has returned...now, it is the Samurai that rule the Five Major Nations!
But at what cost? Have they become the very thing that they despised the most...? Heroes and villains seem to change roles every day, but one thing is for certain - we yearn for our freedom, for days gone by where we flew the skies unhindered.
Since questing will begin soon, I wanted to establish some loose guidelines for our GMs so quests of the same level being GM'd by two different people don't have a large difference in difficulty.
Firstly, these quests shouldn't be seen as something that say, if you RP in the thread long enough you'll eventually get it. All quests should be difficult and pose opportunities to fail without even having to engage combat (such as the master simply refusing to teach the person going on a quest for doing something that they disapprove of). The average, generic combatants in these sort of quests are considered chuunin level with a base experience of 5,000. The stronger opponents could be considered jounin level with double the previous experience. Involving other PC players in quests is always a plus.
Keep in mind that these are just loose guidelines. If I see any easy quests (if a friend of yours is your GM, expect me to be reading the thread) or quests that seem staged in anyway, I'll step in and GM it myself.
Due to recent IRL activities, my presence here has diminished quite a bit. But I still got muse, and I'm still open to GM'ing a quest for someone looking for steady RP (at least one post a day). To any GM here willing to follow that speed- I'd be grateful to have you lead me through my quest. On another note, I've got five threads actively going on right now- including a game-moderated mission I'm taking and GM'ing for Vegapunk.
