APPEARANCE:

Handsome would be the first word that comes to mind when most people met Fujiwara Seijūrō. Because of this exceptionally good looks and flirtatious nature around women, "Sei" or "Fuji" has been the center of attention amongst his peers on numerous occasions. His messy shoulder-length brown hair has been a hassle for Seijūrō to maintain, usually having to tie up the back of his hair, using his forehead protector to prevent his bangs from covering his sight. His tanned skin is a rare sight in Kirigakure no Sato, where the constant rain and mist makes it so that the majority of the population has a pale skin tone. Scars and blemishes are imperfections that are not uncommon for a shinobi to have, yet his body bears no sign of wear despite his arduous training.

His green orbs possess an indescribable ability to make one feel at ease. However the color of his iris changes when he is in the heat of combat. Some have claimed to have seen it changing from the soft green haze into a vicious crimson red like those of the Uchiha clan. A certain blood lust that emanates from his very soul and being causing those around him to shudder in disbelief that the person standing before them is Sei.

Standing at 5'8, Fujiwara is relatively tall for his age-group and still has time to grow. His slender frame has been honed and conditioned through the years; chiseled abs and muscles that indicate the lack of excessive body fat within the Genin’s anatomy. While he lacks the physical prowess of bigger shinobi like those of the Akimichi clan, Seijūrō compensates by being more cunning and agile, making him a better pound for pound fighter than the average shinobi.

APPAREL:

In contrast to his extravagant physical traits, simplicity is the best way to describe Fuji’s normal garments. The soft mahogany haori covers his torso, its golden chain pattern running down the left side of the clothing. Underneath lies a light black kimono with a wider opening near the chest area, which makes it comfortable for one to wear the outfit during the summer. His green trousers are bound together to his haori with a basic white obi sash.

In the colder seasons or during missions, Seijūrō dons a light-blue haori and hakama over a kimono, with a tasuki crossed over the chest and tied in the back. The function of the tasuki is to prevent the sleeves of the kimono from interfering with moving the arms. On his left leg, a kunai holster is strapped onto his thigh giving him quick access to a weapon. A shuriken holster is also situated on the right side of his leg and although it is not his dominant hand, Seijūrō has trained to the point where he has become ambidextrous. His preferred shoe even during the winter is a pair of geta, but requires the usage of thick white tabi socks to prevent the cold from affecting his lower extremities.

THE LADY KILLER — Seijūrō has often been regarded as a fearless individual, to the point where some see it as being brash and reckless. Because of this, females tend to be attracted to him due to his refined physical appearance and alluring charisma, much to the chagrin of his male peers.

THE WOLF — Similar to his normal disposition, Seijūrō shows little to no fear in the thick of combat. While it is normal for one to experience these emotions, but to someone like Sei, fear is like rust to a sharp blade. It corrodes and dulls the weapon making it useless, and in turn fear festers doubt and hesitation within oneself thus clouding his or her judgment. Because of this, Seijūrō remains composed and openly converses with his opponents, misdirecting them into underestimating him, thus revealing openings that the shinobi can exploit. He firmly believes this to be fundamental in becoming a strong shinobi, and those who are unable to overcome their fear will never reach their full potential. He actively seeks challenges within his own reality in order to bring out the best from himself.

THE VICE — Even though Sei carries himself about with an honest deposition, he is not perfect. He is known for not being able to cooperate well with his fellow peers during his time in the Academy and while he shows promise, his leadership skills is lacking. He is quick to judge others for their mistakes and is short-tempered with people that jeopardize Sei's own objective or training. when he is one as well. From time to time, Sei has had physical confrontation with other males as a result of his cocky attitude. To avoid this, Sei has become somewhat of a lone wolf in his own village, preferring to operate on his own terms.

THE DREAM — For someone like Fujiwara Seijūrō, there is very little meaning to life if one does not have an aspiration. For him, it is to become strong enough to protect his loved ones and in the process, become the greatest swordsmen to have ever come out of Kirigakure no Sato. Sei knows that in his current state, he would never be able to protect his family and friends were another village to invade their land. And to that end, Sei pushes himself to his limits on a daily basis; craving for the power that will make him second to none.

♦ ACADEMY JUTSU

Before becoming full fledged Genin, each aspiring shinobi must first pass the shinobi academy. Aside from the obvious lessons one would learn from a Ninja Academy, all students receive essential knowledge, such as reading, writing, mathematics, science, geography, etc. Even kunouichi are given valuable lessons, taught things about other cultures and how knowledge of things like flower arranging will help them to blend in during an infiltration mission. Special lectures read by highly experienced shinobi are sometimes held.

Taught mostly by Chuunin instructors, all ninja potentials are lectured on tactics and strategies. They are instructed on the basics of trap-setting, and taken through the handling of ninja weapons and tools, like shuriken and kunai, learning how to throw and wield them through target practice.

Taijutsu classes serve as the Ninja Academy's equivalent of Physical education class. In taijutsu class, students are engaged in physical activities to help train their bodies and develop their stamina. Ninjutsu classes provide the bulk of what potential ninja learn at the Academy. The subject of Ninjutsu encompasses techniques that use chakra and allows the user to do something that they otherwise would be incapable of doing.

Techniques such as the Transformation Technique and the Clone Technique are taught to students at the Academy that will build up to what they'll learn from their Jounin sensei. Finally, Genjutsu classes are not touched much upon except for explaining what each jutsu is. When learning about genjutsu, students are advised to determine if they are trapped in a genjutsu, and then how to release themselves from it.

Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack - i.e. exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.

The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance that, although easily seen through by those with doujutsu, can fool the normal eye easily. Why? Simply because although without substance, the copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent, though no real damage can be done by it. Finally, as soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

♦ UNIVERSAL NINJUTSU

Ninjutsu (忍術; Literally meaning "Ninja Techniques") refers to any technique that utilises chakra and allows the user to perform actions that a normal person otherwise would be incapable of doing. Unlike genjutsu, which causes the opponent to experience illusions, the effects of ninjutsu are actual and physical in most cases. Ninjutsu relies on chakra and, most of the time, hand seals to be effective.

The hands are put in sequential positions that moulds and manipulates chakra in the necessary manner to perform a technique. This is not always needed, however, and some techniques become second nature to experienced ninja, after which they can perform them at will. Additionally, many ninjutsu can be classified as an elemental techniques, in those cases where a specific element (wind, water, fire, earth, or lightning) is used.

The Uchiha clan also utilizes the wire in their Sharingan Soufuusha Sannotachi technique. The wire allows the clan member to pin down an opponent, and then unleash a torrent of fire upon them. This is just one of many ways, however, that the string can be made useful - as long as the user is in control of their string, they shall be sending special chakra that reinforces it, making it almost unbreakable.

This dome can repel most basic Taijutsu and Ninjutsu attacks. ♦ RAITON JUTSU

Raiton, or 'Lightning Element', takes the form of electrical and lightning based attacks. An affinity based on electricity created by oneself, it grants the user the power to alter various elements of nature carrying some sort of electrical charge. Raiton jutsu usually involve shocking, blinding, paralysis, and other quick strikes and ailments. When used in conjunction with metal based weapons, the power becomes amplified. While not a useful release for defensive purpose, its offensive prowess is what makes it a deadly and effective. Finally, lightning is most effective for middle to long-range attacks.

Chakra Reduction I

The Chakra Reduction mastery allows the user excellent control over the chakra they use, how it's molded, and ultimately, how much is used, so much so that they can lower the chakra consumption of all mastery jutsu. When first learned, the user can cast jutsu of the Mastery class for one chakra consumption tier less than normal. Each time re-acquired, cost continues to drop by one less tier each time.

Description: As the name implies, this simple technique allows the user to alter their internal electric charge temporarily, so that all Raiton chakra subsequently made by the user (as well as natural lightning!) is more susceptible to strike the victim, as well as damage them higher than normal. This alteration usually occurs during some form of contact, where the user’s charged appendage can simple tough, strike or graze the victim and quickly place the effects on them.

Description: Meant more as a reactionary technique than a main avenue of offense, this jutsu allows the user to essentially shoot out small lightning bolts from a free hand to anyone within a small range. This requires no seals to conjure, and can be shot out from one’s appendage during the most heated of combat. The damage is light and the bolts shoot off in a relatively straight line, at rapid speeds.

Description: A mostly supplementary technique, this allows the user to create an invisible sphere all around that will serve to jam and interfere with any radio signals attempting to pass through. Effectively, a target’s communicator can be knocked off, stopping them from calling for back-up as long as you’re around.

Sutangan no Jutsu (Limb Stunning Technique)

Special: If used on a person’s head, they will be knocked out for a single post. Limbs are usually numbed for a whole turn. Stunning effect cannot be stacked. Due to the amount of shock suffered by the user's limb during the transference of energy, this can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: The electric influence that exists over the human body and its muscles allows one to control the later through unconventional methods, including through the means of chakra. After charging a small electric shock in the user’s hands, one can approach their victim and place the charged hand onto a limb or muscle on their body, unleashing the pent up shock and rendering the aforementioned target useless for the rest of the turn. Although simple, it’s highly effective when the user is faster than the victim, and can outmaneuver them as they strike. Also highly effective for keeping captives in place!

Description: Named after the fabled imaginary leader of the sky and thunder, this technique allows the user to feel like Zeus himself as they summon a tight bolt of electricity in their hand, similar to a javelin, so that they could throw it with appeasing accuracy. The bolt will move through the sky faster than most projectiles, and carries deadly accuracy in the right hands. Upon making contact with the target, it immediately bursts into a vertical cylinder storm that surrounds the victim and delivers a plethora of constant shock damage.

Raiton Bunshin no Jutsu (Shocking Clone Technique)

Special: Range and speed at which lightning plumes can travel underground depends on the user's highest 'Karai Shin' range. Up to one foe can be targeted at a time, plus one more each time retrained. However, after every third retraining, the consumption will go up by one.
Description: Although Utage shares a name similarity with Kiba, it’s a far unique and different in many ways. The most notable is that the lightning for this technique travels underground. Once the user makes the appropriate seals, they mold a concentrated amount of chakra at their weapon tip or their fists, and quickly strike the ground with it. Whomever they targeted will soon be victim of a quick traveling electrical surge from below, invisible only until it arrives at its target. Description: Through their talents in the Raiton release, the user is allowed to use their chakra to manifest a snake that will do their bidding. This snake is made comprised of pure lightning, and has advanced intellect of its own. It can communicate with the user mentally and follow orders well. This snake is useful for quick gashing and shocking attacks, and if one can manage to coil around the user, the equivalent of a strong 'B' ranked worth shock courses through their body whole, constricting and shocking.

♦ KENJUTSU

The ability to fight with the sword is one of the most sacred of arts. There are many different swordstyles, but the most basic of all forms is usually considered to be Kenjutsu (Sword Arts). While the techniques are generally fairly simple to understand and use, they are by no means to be considered weak or underpowered. In fact, they stand as a testament to some of the most powerful attacks within the world.
Kenjutsu itself is broken down into two arts: Battoujutsu and Iaijutsu. The first, Battoujutsu, is a style that focuses almost completely on offense, sacrificing many defensive qualities just for the ability to rapidly cut, slash, and kill the opponent. On the flipside of that, Iaijutsu is a style that focuses primarily of defense through evasion, parry, and riposte. While the masters of Kenjutsu are incredibly proficient at one style, they may only learn the basics of the other style due to a conflict of training and utility.

♦ MASTERY

Stamina Reduction I

The Stamina Reduction mastery allows the user ultimate control over their martial arts, to the point they can control wasteful movement and use that to eliminate delays in execution, as well as extended longevity. In the end, it determine how much Stamina is used, so much so that they can lower the stamina consumption of all mastery jutsu. When first learned, the user can cast jutsu of the Mastery class for one Stamina consumption tier less than normal. Each time re-acquired, cost continues to drop by one less tier each time.

Special: Allows the swordsman to deflect basic attacks of equal or lower rank, in conjunction with other, more advanced moves within the style.
Description: An offensive nature of fighting, all Battojutsu practitioners will tend to stand in looser patterns, letting their steel fly and attack at often irregular angles. Unlike its defensive counterpart, this form allows for quicker, more deliberate strikes, making it deadly in the hands of a true master.

Description: Commencing from a standing position, the practitioner draws, attempts to cut one opponent, then thrust into another before quickly sheathing. The variation of attacks is quite useful in a situation where the user is surrounded by two or more opponents.

Sanpo Zuki (3-Way Thrust)

♦ KOUSUKU NO SHUNPO

Foot techniques, the Taijutsu Master's response to Shunshin and other high-speed movements inspired by chakra from the ninja world, exist as a staple to any aspiring taijutsu master. Though the movement itself appears as some sort of chakra inspired feat, it is simply the Taijutsu Type displaying their prowess in natural, powerful movement. Requiring much training, foot techniques are not by any means the easiest; however, with sufficient training, the user may move about like the most experienced of Foot Technique users!

Shunpo (Flashing Light Steps)

Special: Shunpo is a high-speed movement in which the user travels in a linear fashion from one point to another. Usually facilitated with some sort of distraction (smoke bomb, explosion, or something of that nature to obscure one's vision), the user of the Shunpo can, in some cases, appear to have simply teleported from one location to another. The user can Shunpo once per thread, plus once more each time retrained. One cannot attack or perform techniques during Shunpo.
Description: Shunpo, a Taijutsu master's response to the Body Flicker Technique, relies solely on the user's ability to harness their inner ki and gain enough stamina to withstand the sudden strain imposed on one's legs. However, once properly trained, the Taijutsu Type will find their legs moving at speeds unknown to common man, to the point most would make the foolish mistake of assuming one is using Shunshin. However, unlike that chakra inspired run, Shunpo is pure stamina and movement skill, allowing for tighter, quicker, and more reactionary movements essential for someone that relies on movement. Although Shunpo itself moves in a single line, its many variations is what makes it so lethal.
