The large temple located within the heart of the Fire Country is far away from the rigors of the shinobi life, within a secluded section of Hi no Kuni few could survive, let alone conquer. Flora and fauna are affected equally by the odd enchantments the Fire Temple radiates, leaving even the simplest sunflower or the tamest wildcat to spew essences of fire even magical men have grown to fear. On top of this, the stewards of this temple who keep the Flame alive are no pushovers either, Monks from across the land honing their skills in chakra and Katon in order to have the honor of serving this grand establishment.
Ruled by the Daimyou of Fire, the temple operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, and its keepers will always welcome the doors to peaceful pilgrims. Alliance does not matter in terms of village or country, though any Missing Shinobi or member of a currently warring village or country is never welcome, nor is any direct aggressor of the Daimyou and his court.
One hundred steps lead the user up across a steep mountain, a once active volcano dormant yet still housing the power of the Flame. The Flame itself is at the center of the temple, spanning at least fifty (50) meters in diameter in the form of an opening leading to the volcano's interior, a cave-like room setting itself apart from the other well kept areas of the Temple. A majestic, rock creation in the form of a giant cauldron holds the formless 'Flame', an essence of pure fire much stronger than any chakra creation made my man.
This creation lends its followers the power of the flame itself, and grants them a chance to wield the power of the Flame Gods. The temple itself appears like a traditional house of worship, ancient kanji representing the element of fire scaring its outside. Giant iron doors thirty (30) meters tall painted a bright, fiery red serve as the portal from the outside world to this one, located in between two solid guard watch towers that have an excellent view of all one hundred steps below. The temple itself spans an average of one hundred (100) meters.
Lodging is reserved only for the Monk staff. When visiting, be prepared to leave all weaponry, items, armor and any extra miscellaneous equipment at the door, within the safe confines of the Temple's armory; contents will be returned upon one's exit.
- All Monks of the Fire Temple are allowed free passage in and out; anyone else visiting must await the permission of the front gate guards before attempting to proceed entering.
- Any form of violence will be met with an equal, if not greater form of retaliation.
- Only Monks may train techniques here; however, accepted visitors are allowed to interact with the various options within the Temple.
