description; There have been some rumors of a paradise zone somewhere to the east of the village. Not just any luxiourious plot of land either, something pulled straight out of a fairly tail. Waterfall’s, fruit tree’s and all the iron and stone one could pick a shovel at. On top of that it’s perfectly nestled between some mountain ranges making it wonderful strategically. This is gonna work slightly against us, however, as the zone is incredibly protected by a group of powerful non-ninja’s. If we want a snowballs chance in Hell of claiming this land for ourselves, we’re gonna need to heavily scout it out first.

"They're late!" The Hyuuga was genuinely in disbelief knowing that he of all people had arrived before Xu and Kade. Back when they were all genin in the same squad, it was normally his own lack of punctuality keeping them up during missions. Perhaps this was their way of getting back at him, or maybe they had been slacking in the last seven years and hadn't been doing missions at all. Regardless, Akuseru would wait here.

He stood at the base of a mountain, several miles away from Kumogakure itself. There wasn't much to see, as the area bland and littered with short hills here and there. Having all of his standard equipment looked out of place remaining as idle as he was in the desolate area. Akuseru had been there for at least half an hour and was starting to wonder if he had gone to the wrong rendezvous point...

It'd been several hours since his meeting with the Raikage, and Ashura was still rather ecstatic about the news he'd received. In fact, he was so excited that he needed to walk off some of the extra energy coursing through his body. Kirino was still at the small camp they'd made, likely preparing some sort've lunch for the two of them.

Ashura had wandered a ways out, and was no more than a second from turning around when he caught sight of something. Or, rather, someone.

"Hey," he called out from a moderate distance (5m). Both hands were stuff in their pockets, his eyes glancing over boy. "What'cha doin' all the way out here?"

As Akuseru daydreamed of sugary baked goods, a sudden voice called out to him. “Xu?” He said while looking up, assuming that the voice came from his female teammate opposed to the little boy that stood before him. The shinobi glanced his surroundings to see if his teammates arrived before paying any attention to the black haired child. Akuseru knew he was in the proper meeting spot, but now he was beginning to doubt whether their mission was even today or not. . .

“I’m waiting for my lazy friends,” he finally replied while wiping the drool that had built up during his previous daydream off his face. Akuseru wasn’t sure who this tiny kid was, but he had already assumed what the kid wanted. Reaching into his pocket, Akuseru dropped a loaf of bread, his rations for the mission, onto the floor as well as a few coins.

Being as oblivious as he was, Akuseru assumed the boy was just another beggar.

Ashura laughed. "I don't need your food or money, friend. I have plenty of my own." With a casual gesture, the boy pointed to the leaf headband wrapped around the left arm of his jacket. "Ashura Uchiha, Jounin of the Hidden Leaf. A pleasure to meet you."

Stepping closer, the boy returned his hand to its pocket. "I know how boring it can be waiting for people. Back when my brother, sister and I would go on missions... I was always the first one there." Ashura shook his head at the fond memory. "It always seems like everyone else is so lazy, don't it?"

Presuming nothing had gone wrong in the moments that followed, Ashura's presence would be no more than two meters from the Hyuuga. "Nice eyes. You're a Hyuuga, no?" The pale, empty lavender eyes were unique in their own way; it was hard to mistake them, especially coming up in Konoha.

He would've extended his hand for a shake, but wasn't too sure about the boy's demeanor. So, Ashura waited.

As per usual, Akuseru’s assumptions were incorrect. The little boy was a Jounin of the Hidden Leaf--his assumptions weren’t only wrong, but they’re were pretty much as far off as possible. “Of course, of course. I bet you’ve never tasted bread like that, though! Besides, you’re quite small! Eat up!” Not wanting to look like a complete idiot for not noticing that the lad was a shinobi, Akuseru began to ramble on speaking as if he had known this whole time--only serving to himself look even sillier than before.

“Actually, I’m usually the lazy one. . .I’m not even sure if I’m supposed to be waiting here anymore,” he continued, considering his teammates had always arrived before earlier than later. Before he could begin ranting about his teammates and this mission he was supposed to be going on, Ashura had taken note of Akuseru’s featureless eyes. He was impressed, at least for a moment, before remembering that the kid was from Konoha.

The Uchiha’s assumption would be met with an affirmative nod. “Akuseru Hyuuga, Jounin of the Hidden Cloud,” he said with a smile while giving a proper introduction. “Nice is one way to describe my eyes. Wanna trade?” He joked, imagining how silly he would look with a sharingan in one eye and his own byakagun in the other.

Akuseru reached into the inner pocket of his coat and took out a small canteen.“If you don’t want the bread, you should try some of this at the very least.” Popping the cap off, the aroma of whiskey would likely overtake the kid. Giving alcohol to a minor was frowned upon, but Akuseru’s morals have always been sort of skewed.

Ashura eased a hand forward, shaking it lightly. "I appreciate the offer, but I'm quite alright. I'm not a fan of alcohol." His smile was bright, stretching from ear to ear.

"But, as for trading... I would if my eyes weren't special." Tapping his left temple with a finger, he winked. "I'm not sure how they might agree with your body, being from my father's lineage and all." For a moment, Ashura's thoughts drifted to the odd colors he saw when gazing into any reflect surface; the black that swallowed the sclera of his eye. It was his father's mark, this much he knew. Snapping back to reality no more than a second later, he laughed. "But, I imagine that would be fairly strong. The Byakugan and Sharingan are probably two of the most powerful dojutsu in existence."

The boy's eyes lifted to the sky once again in thought, his mind floating into the past like the clouds across the baby blue canvas. Ashura thought of his sister, and how unfortunate she'd been; born with nothing more than the raw drive to better herself.

"But," he said abruptly, "I could use one of your eyes... would you mind giving me one?" The boy's eyes slid back to the Hyuuga, still filled with innocence -- it was as if he'd ask a regular question.

“Not a fan yet.” Akuseru grinned before taking a swig from the flask and tucking it back into his coat. He hadn’t expected the little shinobi to accept his offer--Akuseru remember how awful anything with alcohol tasted back when he was that age. It was repulsive then, yet now he enjoys his fair share of liquor.

The boy went on about his own eyes and briefly mentioned his father. Akuseru wasn’t sure if he was merely restating that he was of a esteemed bloodline or if there was something more to what the kid said, but he wouldn’t make any attempt on reading between the lines nor would he pry into the subject.

His next statement, or question rather, would end with one of Akuseru’s brows arched. He wasn’t sure if the young Jounin was serious or even aware of what he was asking. “Careful what you say kid--others might take a question like that the wrong way considering all the doujutsu harvesting that goes on.”

“My Byakagun will be mine as long as I’m still breathing.” Akuseru’s voice was firm as he intended to clarify any possible misunderstanding that might have spawned from his previous joke.

A smile slowly crawled over Ashura's face. Like a snake, it slithered from ear to ear; it was a devious, utterly sinister smile. "Ah, it was just a joke until you decided to get all uppity about it." His right hand slipped from its pocket, pushing the pad of his thumb into his mouth against the sharp end of a tooth. It was just a little bit of blood oozing from the small wound, but more than enough for what was likely to come.

The boy tilted his head to the left as his hand fell back to his side. "But, if you feel the need take what I said as a threat... and you'd like to put that little theory of yours to the test..."

Ashura's voice trailed off, softly like a teasing breezing. He didn't even blink to cause his eyes to change from their dull, slate color into the blackened Sharingan eye. Three seals flashed, the third being held. "I'd be more than happy to oblige you. It's been a while since I had a good fight, and Ryuusuke-sama says I shouldn't let my skills get rusty."

Only a slew of meters (3m) separated the Hyuuga from what promised to be a gruesome death. Which route would he take?

Type: Supplementary.
Range: Eyesight
Chakra: x2 Mid to cast, low to sustain.
Special: Considered to be a fully matured Sharingan eye, this is, for many, the final stage that their Sharingan is able to access. This stage of the eye allows the user to pierce all a-ranked genjutsu and below, and predict and comprehend all taijutsu of a-rank and below, as well. Likewise, at this stage, the Sharingan can roughly (just barely) keep track of movements x5 the speed of your average shinobi. Keep in mind that regardless of foresight and prediction, in order to avoid incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed, agility and RP ability will ultimately control whether they can move to avoid it.
Description: The final normal evolution to Sharingan, the third tomoe fits symmetrically with the rest by creating a perfect triangular existence around the pupil. An eye containing three tomoe will allow the ninja to see the image of an attacker’s next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body, in the form of a quickly processed mental premonition. This prevents wasteful movement and allows the Uchiha to conserve much needed chakra in battle. It allows them to synchronize their movement to strike at an area moments before their opponent is even in that spot, essentially allowing them to strike out and hit their opponent before they're even there. Best of all, three tomoe also grants the Uchiha the ability to cast unique genjutsu and incur deep hypnosis after locking eyes with an enemy. This can be used to cause their opponent to do an attack of the Uchiha's choosing, or simply to force them to endure endless torture.

Ashura smiled in response to Akuseru’s sudden shift in tone of voice--though this smile was unlike the joyous grin he had been wearing before. The widening smile that covered Ashura’s face was one of malice. Aksueru didn’t need to wait and see what was happening to realize what the sudden biting of his thumb implied. Ashura’s words that followed would only confirm the Hyuuga’s suspicions.

“Stop!” Akuseru shouted while stepping forward and pointing a kunai which had been drawn at the boy. Just as the kid’s Sharingan came to life, Akuseru’s own doujutsu had activated as well. Akuseru hoped that the kid wasn’t seriously about to attack him. It wasn't out of fear of the Sharingan or battle with a Jounin of Konoha, but rather his own disdain towards being put in a position where he would have to slay another child. During the war seven years ago, Akuseru was no stranger for killing those who were of an age similar to Ashura, having been that young himself.

The moment the lad had brought his hands together to form a seal, a mere flick of the wrist would be all it took to chuck the kunai with enough aptitude (considering the small distance between the two) to lodge it between the boy’s eyes. Whatever Ashura’s intentions were by acting the way he did, if he expected any response outside of the one Akuseru had given then he was as childish as he looked.

Without missing a beat, Akuseru rocketed forward towards his thrown kunai, closing the distance between the two as quickly as possible. “I’m not amused, Ashura!” His only reply came in the sparse moment until he was within melee range. Expecting the kid to evade the kunai with a simple turn of his head or a small step out of it’s trajectory, Akuseru’s next strike was intended to follow the boy no matter how he moved. Thrusting his hand toward the kids torso, the Kumo Jounin would release column of chakra, two meters tall and one meter wide, aimed at incapacitating Ashura with non-lethal force. Considering the meager distance between the two kid’s size relative to Aksueru’s technique, he had hoped to resolve this conflict immediately.

Hyuuga masteries 1-3

Byakagun

Hakke Kuushou (Eight Divination Signs Air Palm)
Rank: C.
Type: Offensive.
Range: 0 - 10 meters.
Chakra: x2 Mid.
Special: The column of chakra sent forward is roughly two meters tall and one meters wide, and has enough force to lift a grown man clean off his feet and throw them several (five) meters back. When used at close range, the force can easily knock the breath out of their victim and leave them dazed.
Description: Once the Hyuuga understands the art of summoning energy all at once into a single, fine strike, they are able to execute with the same precision, but from a distance. Extending chakra from their body, the Hyuuga will thrust their palm at the target, sending out an vicious wave of wind that can knock the opponent back greatly.

Time.

Time is an element of life which not only brings people together in love, but in death as well. Time is a person's best friend and greatest enemy, possessing the qualities which give them the space and necessary foundations to end their enemy; yet coincidentally, on the flip of a coin, presenting that same opportunity to your enemy. Time was what many call the beginning of the end, for once that clock starts ticking, it stops only for one thing; it leads only to one thing.

Even as a child, Ashura always had a rather astounding handling on the intangible concept of time and timing. From the moment he bit his thumb and his eyes had become swarmed with the red and black of his Sharingan, the element of time had become his pawn with which to move accordingly.

The third seal of his brief set was long-since completed by the time the Hyuuga had activated his own dojutsu and retrieved the kunai he pointed so feverishly at Ashura. But, the boy didn't move; instead, he simply waited. Patience was most certainly one of the most powerful tools in a shinobi's arsenal, and to those who had mastered such a deadly weapon, waiting became second nature like breathing. It wasn't until the Kumo-nin released his projectile that the boy acted.

Agile as a bird sifting through the skies above, Ashura's movement was quick and simple. Rather than tilt his head or shift off to the side, expecting a quick counter (an assumption derived solely from the Hyuuga's immediate trailing of the kunai), Ashura simply ducked. Not being incredibly tall to begin with, bending at the knees and extending his somewhat bloodied palm to the ground took no more than a fraction of a second to occur. By the time the kunai would have reached its target, had he not moved, and well before the air palm, a sea of smoke erupted from the seal sprawling across the floor and consumed the entire nearby vicinity (roughly equivalent massive summon in question).

Fortunately for the Hyuuga, his Byakugan would reveal the inhumanly sized creature that the young Uchiha had wrought forth from the bowels of the planet. And if he had any good sense, his forward trajectory would have ceased immediately in favor of a better route.

Comfortably situated on the top of Manda's crown, Ashura glanced down at the Hyuuga (exposed by the gusts of wind coming from Manda's emergence). His gaze was heavy, much like had a mountain been sat upon the Kumo-nin's shoulders. Manda, on the other hand, was hardly impressed.

"You again!" he hissed, speaking to Ashura. "What is it this time?"

"I got you a meal, Manda-sama!"

Manda's golden eyes fell to the Hyuuga. "You call this a meal?! That pathetic runt wouldn't even sate one of my newborn's hunger! You will stop toying with me like this, boy, or I will devour you, my--"

Manda fell silent, his body becoming tense as his eyes began to change. Suddenly, the gold was replaced by red and black, mirroring young Ashura's unnatural Sharingan. "Sorry about that," he said to Akuseru. "Sometimes, he just doesn't know when to stop talking. Now, where were we?"

²Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)

Chakra: Low - Massive.
Special: The cost of the summoning is relative to the item or creature\person in question. For instance, summoning weaponry (kunai, shuriken, senbon) would cost a "low" amount of chakra, while a large beast of a summon may cost a "high" worth of chakra.
Description: A powerful jutsu intended to call forth aid when in dire need, Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon a a variety of entities and items meant to assist them in a dire situation. From people to animals, to inanimate objects such as weapons and items, these creations come forth out of thin air near-instantly after the seals are done and into the battlefield. Keep in mind each summoning in question requires a previous contract to be filled out. Finally, signing this contract also allows said summoning to be able to reverse summon the human ninja to their own location.
Domain: Universal Ninjutsu.

³Shisu (Hypnosis) (150)
Rank: A
Type: Doujutsu / Supplementary / Special Bloodline Technique
Range: Eyesight
Chakra: High.
Special: Sleep, suggestion, paralysis, and memory recall last up to 1 turn, plus 1 more each time this jutsu is retrained. However, after every second retraining, chakra consumption will go up by one. Cannot force a user to do something completely against their will, like taking their own life or that of a dear comrade, unless they have previous intent to do so.
Description: Upon unlocking the last of the normal secrets behind the Sharingan eye, the Uchiha begins to take full control of their blood powers. They are now able to essentially hypnotize anything or anyone that comes in eye contact with the Sharingan, inducing a unique brand of hypnosis that involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the opponent through genjutsu cast by simple eye contact. The hypnotic ability coupled with the other aspects of the Sharingan, can make the user appear as if they can "see the future". Finally, this level of hypnosis is capable of putting an opponent to sleep, inducing paralysis, and even replaying certain, specific memories to someone.

Akuseru stopped dead in his tracks when smoke had suddenly filled the area. It wasn’t because smoke hindered his sight—he had the Byakagun to remedy that. Nor was it because he feared that the smoke contained any harmful toxins—the smoke was conjured through chakra, and if it contained such dangers the Hyuuga’s eyes would have seen them as well. It was the monstrous chakra source that had suddenly emerged. Had the little boy transformed? No, his chakra, albeit small, was still there. This new being’s chakra network was different, and it’s shape was unlike any Human Akuseru had seen.

Without having to wait long, all of Akuseru’s questions would be answered as he began to backpedal and create what would be a negligible amount of distance between him and the behemoth that had been summoned. It was a snake, that much had been made certain. The size of the creature was unlike any kuchiyose Akuseru has ever seen. The Hyuuga could hardly hear Ashura after he began speaking from atop of the snake’s head. The experience was quite surreal.

“Aha, you wouldn’t want to eat me. I taste quite bitter. Trust me, it’s a common Hyuuga trait!” Despite the grave situation he was in, his sense of humor hadn’t left him. The snake seemed to rebel initially, but before long Ashura had seemed to tame the beast.

Well, shit. Akuseru hadn’t dealt with an encounter like this before. Despite all of his experiences, fighting fifty meter snakes was unfortunately not on his resume. Although he was plenty confident himself, he wasn’t stupid. He was still just one man. He had no intentions of backing down though, regardless of how skewed his odds were. It wasn’t like running away from that thing was a feasible option. Akuseru’s chakra boiled and his eyes hardened—the summoning of this Manda had lit a fire within him as he braced himself for what could be his last battle.

Ashura giggled.

"I'm just kidding!" he shouted from the top of the snake's head. "Manda-sama is probably going to hate me for bringing him out in public like this, but I wasn't sure if you'd be afraid of one of the other snakes." Despite the gravity of the situation, the boy's voice remained light-hearted and airy. "Sorry if I went a little overboard, but my sensei said there's no such thing as giving too much for a good joke."

Glancing over his shoulder, being so high up, he could see the small tail of smoke billowing up into the air. Kirino was probably finished cooking dinner.

"Anyway, I've gotta be heading back." Casually waving as the snake slithered in the opposite direction of the Hyuuga, Ashura's day had been satisfied. "It was nice to meet you. I hope your friends show up for your mission soon!"

Even as large as the snake was, it wouldn't be long before the disappeared into the horizon of clouds and stone.

Aksueru wasn’t how to respond to. . .whatever just happened. Ashura had brought forth possibly the largest summon the Hyuuga had ever seen and manipulated it with the Sharingan all while putting up a menacing, offensive front towards Akuseru for the sake of a joke. Akuseru loved jokes. Usually it was him pranking others at their expense, not the other way around. Even when he ended up as the “victim” he still enjoyed them—although he laughed at Ashura’s joke it was mostly out of habit for laughing at just about everything.

“Your sense of humor needs work, kid.” He remarked, his voice having regressed from the sharp and cold tone it carried just moments before the snake had appeared. “Remember this—the amount of effort you put into a joke is all meaningless if the punchline can’t match it.” The Hyuuga lectured while smiling.

Albeit still unsure of what to make of what just occurred, Akuseru gave his farewells with a simple nod and a wave before deciding he had waited long enough for his teammates to arrive. Having activated his Byakagun earlier, Akuseru saw neither Xu or Kade. He’ll return to the village, find them, and chew them out.
