Walking through the streets of Kumogakure no Sato he would make his way to the coliseum. This would be his destination for the afternoon, a select mission with two genin which he had not met before. It was to be an interesting exchange for sure, as he read over the mission report on his way there. A giant cobra eh? could be troublesome.. the chuunin thought to himself as he brought his hand up to the top of his head to gently brush his blonde hair back. He had done his fair share of missions in the arena, but a cobra, was definitely something new to him and he was sure it would be new to his fellow companions.
Hand now signaled at his forehead he would look upward as the sun generously beamed down upon him. It was a fine day indeed, few and far between in the village of cloud. True to its name, there was scattered cloud in the air but nothing that could hinder the brightness and heat from the demanding sun. Cigarette nestled between his lips he would soon find the vast exterior of the coliseum within view point. As a plume of smoke bellow from his mouth his mind wandered to many interesting and mysterious things. Although a B-rank mission, he wasn't worried in the slightest. Having read over the report he had the advantage over the beast, an analysis which hailed any feature the cobra could pull at him.
Soon after he would find himself entering the coliseum. The golden-haired chuunin grassed through the entrance, his signature glasses dancing in the tint of sunlight which beamed down upon him. The sandy dirt underneath his foot would encircle his angles as he moved with a brisk walk towards his destination. The guards, who have been expecting his arrival took no delay in opening the gates for him, and only offering them a slight nod of the head - they knew that he was here to take care of business, an annual for which they were well adjusted to.
Strolling through the gate and now firmly within the arena's hold he wondered if his two genin companions had already arrived, beating him to the punch. Within an instantaneous and playful maneuver he danced up the wall to the top edge of one of the seating stands, allowing him a grand view into the arena. Seeing that they had not arrived yet he playful sat down with a thud. One left crossed over the other he began to puff away at his cigarette, the rusty grey plume of smoke drifting upward into the air. In eager wait of his companions he began to spark up a conversation with the two guards stationed below. He always enjoyed a good chat with them, he often found that they held the most scandalous gossip within the village.
