BAR CRAWL BUST-UP!
RANK: C
DESCRIPTION: Alike any other village, Kusagakure has its own fair share of dodgy bars which only the physically strong would dare enter, and after the police was recently called in to break up a large fight in Kusagakure’s worst, the Metal seal, they’ve chosen to ask Shinobi to help them on their rounds when fights break loose, in so that they have some more back-up to prevent things from getting too out of hand. You can either choose to wait until the police call you to join them in some part of the village to help keep the peace, or choose to go undercover in any of Kusagakure’s bars, and stop any potential fights from starting- And stop already existing ones!
OBJECTIVE: Help the police prevent and stop drunken fights in the village!
PAY: 1,000 Ryo and 200 EXP.
The day was, as usual in this part of the world, bright and sunny. Plenty of sun shinning down on plenty of trees, and of course, plenty of grass. Plenty of birds chirping in the air, and plenty of other tiny creatures running about the grass, trees, and other foliage. It was hard to believe that this country was ever used as one of the battlefields for one of the great wars. Nevertheless it was. And nevertheless, Kenji still held a great amount of contempt for the major nations because of such.
The walk from the Atrium to the the bar would normally have felt lengthy, anywhere else in the world. But even to his cold and embittered self, the beautiful scenery was enough to keep him from going completely crazed or insane. Once at the bar, he walked in, and quietly looked around. He wasn't going to wait for the police to be brought in, and then for them to call for help. People might get hurt if that were done. So, he moved to a corner table, and sat down. Soon after, one of the workers would come by, and he would order a bottle of sake.
To many, he would not look like a shinobi. His white dogi was usually quite a giveaway, but with his clan's robe over it, it wasn't instantly recognizable. On top of that, the bangs of his hair covered his forehead protector, and the satchel and holsters for his various ninja tools were covered by the lower half of his robes, even if they were slit to the hip, for ease of movement in a fight. Coupled with the shadows of that corner, he could sit there, and enjoy a drink, while watching the crowd move in and out of the bar through the day, and wait for a fight to break out, or at least, wait for fighters to start acting rowdy.
It was still early, and nothing bad was going on. So as he had hoped, he had a chance to enjoy his drink. When it was brought to him, he would smile, and thank the woman, before she left him to his drink. It was quiet. So quiet, he got to thinking about his other duties, the events going on with his clans. The elders of the family; his parents siblings and other relatives of their generation, had been pushing Kenji for a few years now to pick a wife. Such a task one could not simply do. It wasn't like he could just go out onto the streets of the village, find a girl, and say 'marry me!'. At least, he couldn't do so and walk away without a red mark on his face in the form of a hand. Plus, he had to make sure she would be the right woman to help raise a new era of the Hogosha clan. She had be someone who shared his love of the village and aspiration for greatness, not just for the sake of one's self, but for the sake of the village, family, and to promote the prosperity of such as well. And... perhaps it would help if she were nice, and not a bitch.
Kenji gave his head a shake, and heaved a sigh, as he had come to realize that his thoughts had begun to drift from a profitable path, and had begun to list down a tedious trail to pointless frivolity. He would set his cup down and look back out to the crowd in the room. At this point, there was one man already staggering in his steps, as he took it upon himself to go looking for a server on his own, rather than wait for her to go to him. Probably because he had already had enough to drink. Kenji frowned, but kept his mind and eyes focused.
