The blades of vengeances have fallen swiftly. The shinobi are no more as 'Absolute Justice' has returned...now, it is the Samurai that rule the Five Major Nations!
But at what cost? Have they become the very thing that they despised the most...? Heroes and villains seem to change roles every day, but one thing is for certain - we yearn for our freedom, for days gone by where we flew the skies unhindered.
She knew she was new at being a shinobi and her experiences were just a laugh right now, but that didn't mean she couldn't pull through and show everyone just how ready she is to be a shinobi for her village. Well that will take time, though everyone will one day hear of her feats and question not that she is a kunoichi. A single glance back at him because of his words and she gave a smirk. It was indeed a compliment and she would be very accepting of it...in her own way.
She led him all the way to the third training ground, they covered a lot of ground moving through the residential areas of Konoha past the business section and going to a forested part where the training grounds would be located. There was a path and shot through the trees that led to each training ground. She led him down the path that would lead to the third training ground.
"Yeah, it's part of it." she agreed with the guy, Naiya guessed it was just that obvious she didn't have much friends. Well she had one and that's all she needed. Of course she still needed to get to know the girl better, but she didn't need to have all the friends in the world. "But, that's okay. Not many of my graduating class liked me to begin with."
I frowned at just the mention of the Ninja Academy. Those kids truly did not know how lucky they were. While they were off learning in classrooms and going on filed trips, I was left with intense training and battle strategies under the ever-watchful eye of my uncle. Because of this, I barely know any ninja within my age group who still maintain the Genin rank. I shrugged as I thought what my life would have been like as a Konoha shinobi. If I was as coddled as these little ones were, I might have been Hokage by now. I chuckled softly at the image of me in the Hokage robes.
"Ever think if you smiled a bit more you wouldn't have that problem?
I pivoted in front of the girl, and placed my hands gently under her chin.
"Come on kid... Smile!
I laughed as I moved my mask away and flashed her a large goofy smile.

She wasn't with the class she graduated with from the beginning. she was also a little older than they were, least old enough that she should have been a genin or getting close to being a chuunin. No matter age isn't what's important. She halted in her steps when he stood in front of her, he graced his hand upon her chin and she had looked up at him. She saw his goofy smile and merely stared at him. If it were that easy... Though it wasn't long before the nara would feel like a extremely sharp needle was poking at his genitals. Naiya hadn't moved, but manipulating her bone structure wasn't hard or difficult. She wasn't going to harm him or anything, but a little scare wouldn't hurt.
From her index finger, bone would protrude out from it's very tip and extend out in front of her and poke a small hole through his pants. This bone had extended far enough just to graze the skin. "Do keep your hand's to yourself." she stated, trying to make her laugh was one thing, touching her was another. "Unless you wish to lose something." she stated as she moved her index finger to let the bone slide along the skin of the scrotum.
The goofy smile had been replaced by a devilish grin as I heard the small girl's threat.
The hand that had been placed inside my gi had now slowly unsheathed my wakizashi. My eyes would gleam with killing intent, before I remembered something critical. It wouldn't take much, I had killed many people before, and this girl was no different. I did not know her, and we were far enough from the crowds of Konoha that I wouldn't have to worry about an audience. Still.. the punishment that would await me if the Mizukage was to ever find out was enough for me slowly snap the blade back into it's sheathe and turn away from the girl. I proceeded to walk behind her and wave at her to continue walking. Once again facing her back I let my body prepare for the girls response before I spoke:
"You shouldn't threaten strangers who are trying to be nice, you never know who they are."
I may have reacted coolly but I was still shocked at finding a Kaguya in Konoha. I had heard stories of there bloody past in Kirigakure, and if this girl was a descendant of there blood line then it would explain her cold hearted attitude. For now, I'll just leave the little one be. I snickered in my head and waited for the guide to continue walking.

There was that sound, while very light, the area around them was quiet and Naiya didn't step down from his killer intent. She kept her stoic stare and kept calm. The air itself seemed to drown in this intent to kill that was radiating from this Nara she faced. At this moment it was like a battle where the person who reacted first would decide upon how it would end.
Though another click the wakizashi being put away would eliminate the heavy intent to kill from the air. She knew it, this has confirmed her suspicions. He went back to standing behind her and the bone that protruded out from her finger slowly shrunk in size and back into her index finger. She kept looking onward as he waved her to move again. Hearing his response, she would retort. "I do not enjoy being touched, it was merely self defense."
Because who did it really look bad upon, a little girl like her? Or a big man with a little girl alone in the woods. "that aside, I do not like being lied too..." With that, she would start walking. "The Memorial Stone is just up ahead." she would lead and walk without any fear. She had this inkling feeling that this person behind her, was much stronger than she was, but she'd rather die before she'd let fear enter her heart.
The girl continued her stride towards the Memorial Stone, and I laughed at her statement. She had proven she was capable of handling her own, and I'm sure the blood-thirsty genes of the Kaguya would serve her well on the battlefield. Still, she should learn to lighten up. Life is too short for you to blow it away pouting and scowling.
"Well, that was one hell of a reflex, I thought Kaguya's were native to the Hidden Mist. What're you doing here?
I flinched as I remembered that I was supposed to be incognito. I couldn't let my guide know to much about me. I had already shown her that I was not the typical civilian I had portrayed myself to be. At this point there was really no point in lying. I eyed the back of the girl's head and thought cautiously if she could be trusted. Finally after a moment of walking, I decided to speak once more.
"My name is Mifune by the way, and I never lied to you."

Young she was, stupid she was not. Though she wasn't going to linger upon it for very long and just let him believe that he didn't lie to her. It mattered not so long as he didn't cause any trouble. "I was born here, didn't know it was a requirement to be in Kirigakure when I was born." she replied. The more he spoke and said odd things, the more she tied them together. She at least could have gotten away with being of the kaguya name, but she didn't mention her name at all to him, so there was no way for him to know she was a Kaguya, unless....
Very well, Mifune..." she wasn't sure if she should even give her name to him. "Naiya is my name." She made sure her relaxed hands were down at her sides, and her finger tips were pointing at Mifune.
Cautious brown finger tips were now pointing at me. Some may call this precaution, some may call it coincidence. I called it an insult. If I had wanted this woman dead, she would be dead. I had thought about scaring here a bit, but it seems like I have given her enough reason not to trust me. She obviously knew very little about here homeland or her culture. I'm not one to talk however, seeing as until now I have never set foot in Konoha.
How long was this damn route? When would we be at the site? In all this built up tension I had forgotten why I had began to follow this woman.
"Nice to meet you Naiya, The Kaguya born in Konoha. Now there's something you don't see every day."
I shrugged lightly as I placed both my hands into my gi, leaving my sleeves trailing in the air behind me as I walked. My hand lay rested on my wakizashi, but hidden from Naiya's sight (I did not really want to increase the tension more than it already was). My gi was comfortable enough for me to draw my blade without being hindered by my clothing. I truly didn't have any reason to be this cautious, but I had learned long ago not to underestimate people. Especially a cold hearted young woman.

Naiya only shrugged at what he said. "I wouldn't know about that, most should have been wiped out years ago in the rebellion in Kiri." while she wasn't born in Kiri, she did know about the Kaguya's culture and their biased view upon their civil war against Kiri that almost wiped them out. Of course her story was from the position of the Kaguya, who held a hatred for Kiri in her family for generations, so there was some twisted words that happened along the way.
Though she didn't know how many Kaguya's there are now, but from the sounds of how surprised this guy sounds. It seems like there are quite a few more Kaguya's then she was taught to believe. Naiya lead on the monument wasn't much further. "The Monument stone is up ahead." There it was off in the distance. The Monument stone which had a multitude of names engraved upon it. These were the shinobi's that had fallen in battle.
The minute she finished her words, my excitement had overflown. I sprinted towards the stone and slid across the ground as I halted in front of it. My mind quickly sprinted through the names. After I realized it wasn't in alphabetical order, I spent more time studying each and every name.
It seemed as though hundreds of ninja had fallen in battle through out Konoha. Finding my parents in these many names would be very difficult. Half way through the stone I managed to spot a few Nara names, my hopes would rise, and then suddenly fall, as I realized that these were not my parents. But I had not given up hope! They were here, they had to be!
My hopes were slowly flattering as I approached the bottom of the stone. My mind raced as I tried to think of an excuse. Surely they died in battle, so wouldn't there names be here. Panic had set in, and before long I had reached the bottom of the stone. I restarted my scan, this time subbing out the surname "Nara" with "Jin". Even then, there was nothing.
I fell to my knees as I tried to hold back the pain that flooded my body. They were not here!? This was the only place they could be! I desperately scanned the stone once more before giving up hope.
Just as I was about to surrender any effort at finding the final resting place of my parents, I saw it. Underneath the stone was a small addition, a plaque no more than a few inches.
Brave souls, Lost in conflict : Takeshi Nara, Riku Nara, Mifune Nara, Mitsuko Jin.
My heart had stopped for a moment. Relief swept over me, but it was also layered in confusion. Why was both me and my uncle listed? I guess Konoha suspected we were dead. But I wasn't I was very much alive.. for the first time in a long while, I felt alive.
I rose to my feet, finally relived of my stress and worry about my past. I turned to Naiya with a smile :

The speed that he shot out past her had surprised her, too bad that Mifune was too focused on the slab to pay attention to her. She had a moment of another expression that was beside stoic. she stood at a distance for a moment and just watched him as he began to search the slab. She lifted her hand slowly and pointed her finger as his back like it were a gun. She stayed like that for a second and made the motion of her hand recoiling. bang... She thought and lowered her hand.
Nothing came out her fingers, what sort of silly person would think that! Naiya brought her hand down and just watched him seeing his frantic body movements. She didn't need to see his face as she was able to tell the emotion he was feeling just by watching his back. His movement so frantic and desperate. She tilted her head to the right as she watched him and pondered. Did these relative's mean that much to him? She had to think on it for a moment, she never really knew her father and the only person she had left in her life was her mother. The thought of losing her mother, she felt a cringe at her heart. There was pain in thinking such a thing.
She smoothly sauntered over and kept a good five feet distance from him as he kept inspecting the stone. Watching his frantic excited movements suddenly slump and become despair. It was almost too sad to watch, though she kept silent and just waited for him. Did he find the name or not? Was he coming here to confirm their deaths? Or was it something more? Naiya knew not the question's for why he came here, but she figured that he had hoped that his answers would be upon the slab that listed the named of those honorable shinobi who gave their lives for the village they protected.
He seemed to linger there a bit longer. did he find it? she pondered as she only watched, still she kept her stoic face. When he arose to face her, she only looked at the expression upon her face. It was sincere, honest, truly it was genuine happiness. With that Naiya's stoic face had calmed and she responded with the tiniest of smiles. "I hope your answers have been found."
"They have, and in no small part, thanks to you. I have a good feeling we'll see each other again. In fact, I'm going to guarantee it."
Underneath my Gi I had already formed three hand seals, before walking towards the girl. My pace was strong and passionate, but calming, so that Naiya would not feel any hostility. I wrapped my arms around her and brought her close to me. I was sure she wouldn't have any time to fully react to the strong, loving hug, before a kunai marked with my shiki1 would slip into the black belt that tied around her haori. This would all happen in only a few seconds, and in an instant I would be gone.2
1Hiraishin Shiki-Jutsu (Flying Thunder God Technique Formula) Rank: SS Range: - Type: Supplementary Handseals: 3 Chakra Consumption: High Hiraishin, the seal which allows its owner the unique ability to literally cross space and time and teleport to it. Able to be placed on anything, from parchment, paper and weapons, to actual people, this legendary teleportation skill is surpassed by none. It''s easy - by creating a destination marker, or 'technique formula', the owner of the shiki can detect its signal from anywhere in the world, so that they may have the option of warping to it.
Note: The Hiraishin seal cannot be removed by 'Gogyou Kaiin' (Five Elements Unseal), or any other 'unsealing' method; the only legitimate way to 'deal' with it is by destroying the very surface it is placed on, or by killing the owner. User can 'feel' the surface which has seal placed on it, including if/when it is moved, and whether any form of contact has been established with it. The time in which the user is notified of any changes is instant. Once placed, the seal will remain visible for all to see. Users can visit a shiki multiple times, until it is either removed by the user or destroyed.
2Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God) Rank: S Range: - Type: Supplementary Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: x2 High. A space-time jutsu like Kuchiyose, the user first needs to mark their final destination with a shiki (rite). Once marked, the user can then activate the jutsu, allowing them instant teleportation to the chosen mark. No matter where the opponent goes, the Flying Thuder God can simply travel to the mark and end them. And if they need to transport something, all they need to do is touch that item and spread their Hiraishin chakra across it.
Note: The 'warp' used to teleport the user is instantaneous. There is no distance that the user cannot cross. So long as there is a seal, the user can simply travel to it. It should be noted that anyone that the user is touching, during the time of the warp, is teleported as well.

Naiya stood there watching him, he was acting, least in her opinion, odd. It's mostly because she wasn't sure to people looking at her in such a manner, that it just weirded her out. when he did take steps towards her, she did take half a step before she was suddenly embraced by the man who was thanking her, least in her opinion, more than he should have.
Naiya just stood there embraced by the man, rather confused on how to reacted or how to respond. she didn't hug him back and turned her head away from him. She was quite uncomfortable with this close contact, the only person she was ever in such a close contact was her mother. Her eyes shifting left and right quickly as if she were trying to find an answer somewhere. Though as quickly as it happened, he disappeared suddenly.
Naiya was absolutely confused now as she took a step foreword and looked around quickly. "where in the world...." she mumbled to herself as she looked around, but sadly she didn't see anything or feel anything in the immediate area. He definitely did some kind of shunshin, but from the looks of it, he was gone.
Naiya regained her composure, unaware of the specially marked kunai that was put into her black belt during the hug. She looked toward's the slab of K.I.A.s and looked all the way down to the bottom. This was how low his head way, which indicated to her, what direction he was looking at. she knelt down and looked at this smaller piece that had several names upon it. "Mifune...Nara...wait a minute..." she whispered to herself as she looked around once more, she finally came to realize that they were something on her back and she reached around and pulled out the specially marked kunai.
She looked it over and found the mark upon it. "It doesn't read explosion..." Naiya looked it over before looking over to the grave site. "He'll guarantee it...huh..." she whispered as her eyes focused on the kunai.
