Momentary silence..
The wind technique I had called upon managed to bring so much stillness to the forest after it reaped the area of its worth. Of course- I’d been somewhat surprised that the trees still stood tall, but I guessed that they served as a living memoriam to the man that had become so tantalizing to kill. However- At the time, I wouldn’t be able to do shit on the floor as I was at the moment with the trees clouding the ability to see. My last attacked had proved successful but using that twice in a row would be so predictable. As I utilized the innate shinobi ability within me to promote balance through the mysterious shockwave, and allow myself to climb up to the top of the tree I was at, a small amount of chakra pooling to my feet as I temporarily glued myself to the top whilst my hands had quickly began to form seals. I could see everything, and the innate red glow roughly thirty meters away past the tree openings. Of course; I’d known a few taijutsu specialists in my life- Momochi himself had been one but he hadn’t held this ability, no. His friends however- I could remember the soft red hue coating their skin but this?From the gaps in the forestry, I could see its intense colour.
And that couldn’t mean anything good.
The others I couldn’t see from the sea of green that I was currently trawling through. Perhaps upon returning to Kusa I’d attempt to learn some sensory techniques to help in situations like these. Not that I was underestimating the powers of the rest- the leader and his durable trees signified great talent in the field and the gates user would surely become a pest- But the others I had yet to find their party tricks. With samehada softly whirring at my back in hunger of the chakra source nearby that erupted from the man, I needed to get close- But doing so would compromise safety as I hadn’t fought against a gates user of his expertise before. My string of seals soon coming to a close, two perfect copies of myself would appear ten meters to either side, positioned on the tip of nearby trees and would hang there only a fraction of a second before descending down to the earth as they hit the ground.Then I would observe what was happening below on the opponents side of the battlefield- With a skyline of trees for those below me, it would shield my position for now whilst my alternate beings lurked on the earth below, their hands twisting with chakra as they prepared for the oncoming fight. Anyone could guess that it was me- But with three images of myself on the field, who was to say which one was the real me?
I waited, and watched.
For legitness, I’ve reduced the knock back to 7 seeing as I doubt you’d be able to go back a clean 10 meters with all of those branches, haha!
