"How nice of you!" I mused as I continued to walk alongside Blanche, looking around from time to time in case someone tried to intercept us on our way there. This would be my first time traveling to Kumogakure so I was quite ecstatic, however, I hated the rain at times, so I hoped upon our arrival it was actually a sunny day. Oddly enough, it was quite chilly in Kusagakure today which I didn't mind at all, the heat was too much for me sometimes. The last time I went for a long journey like this I was going to Iwagakure, it was terrible. I was by myself and climbing all those rugged mountains just wasn't my thing. At least this time we'll be sleeping inside of an inn, on a comfortable bed, unlike my travel last time where I had to sleep on the cold, grassy floor.

"If only we had a mode of transportation that flew us to Kumogakure." I complained, thinking about all the things that we could use. It made me ponder whether or not I should find a summoning contract with a bird, the travels would be way easier than now, but would they be a good enough aid for battle? I expected this journey to be quite awkward, or at the very least, very quiet. That's exactly what it was, no one was speaking at all, besides Blanche who took the time to thank me for my support.

"It's my pleasure! As cliche as it sounds, you can always count on me, alright?" I said with a smile while I began to rub the back of my head, a habit I picked up when I would get too happy, or extremely nervous. "So, what exactly happened to their leader?" I questioned, I didn't want to make this journey a boring one so I took the initiative of trying to start up a conversation. I was especially curious about the situation at hand, so it was like killing two birds with one stone, awesome.

She clearly didn't like what I just did, but whatever, it's not like she had anything against it either as she just kept silent the entire time. "How unfortunate." To think that a village was attacked, and their leader killed so easily, one who was rumored to have the power of one of the tailed beasts placed inside of him. "I wonder who was strong enough to kill of such a guy." I mused to myself as I began to take my leave.

"Don't worry Blanche! The early bird catches the worm." I winked at her before disappearing from her view and leaving the atrium. I needed to go and get me something to eat before I even thought about getting dressed and ready for this mission.

"That meeting was ridiculous." I thought to myself recalling the meeting where Blanche admitted to everyone that the father of her child was, indeed Kouketsu. I had no problem with that, I am a Kusagakure ninja of course and I would never betray the one who brought this village back from rubble even if she had a intimate relationship with someone who almost destroyed the world.

"Now I get to kick back and—" of course not, never will I ever have time to myself. The moment I sat down on my couch the ANBU literally appeared out of no where. "God damn, I always wanted to know how you guys did that" Well, long story short, I was requested by Blanche yet again.

^{FAST FORWARD TO ATRIUM}

"Let's see what she has in store for me this time." I didn't have time to get dressed so I came up to her office dressed in a t-shirt, sweatpants and a pair of slippers. I mean, it's not like she was going to need me to do something immediately right?

"'Sup" I nodded towards the assistant before moving forward inside the lift, which brought me up to her floor. I knocked on the door and immediately walked inside her room. "G'morning Blanche, don't you look as beautiful as ever" I greeted her, even though it was the afternoon, I just woke up and didn't really have a sense of time just yet. I walked towards her desk before sitting down in the chair in front of here, I feel as if I earned the honor to address her sitting down instead of standing up now. "So, what is it that you needed my presence for?"

It was odd, I was actually enjoying my day with this stranger. Usually when you bump into a random person there's always an awkward conversation, but for some reason there was an odd sense of comfort when I was around her, something I definitely couldn't complain about.

"Yeah, that face definitely had me from the start." I said teasingly with a smile on my face. She really liked teasing, huh? I guess some girls got off on that. "Guess our next date will be to a Hot Spring?" I said jokingly, but if she was serious about it, I would definitely go. I wondered what was wrong with her that she didn't have tons of guys around her, she seemed like a cool chick, and she was definitely a cutie, there had to be something!

"Honestly, not too many girls caught my eye like you did. I'm just very picky." I said with a smile. "I'm surprised you don't have a special someone, especially someone as gorgeous as you." She then slipped her hand into mine, which I welcomed wholeheartedly. My face began to blush a ton, and before I knew it my entire face was covered in red. However, we finally arrived at the arcade which caused it to fade away. "Ready to lose?" I stuck my tongue out as I ran inside, holding her hand as I headed towards my favorite game.

I had nothing else to say, my allegiance to this village and it's leader have been proven time and time again. The only reason I remained stationed in the same spot I had been for the past half an hour or so was because I didn't want to be rude and leave before this meeting ended.

I just couldn't believe that people were going to blame the baby for the things it's parents did, what was wrong with some of these individuals? Were they really saying a kid who has yet to make one significant step in this word is the one at fault here? I couldn't believe I knew some of the people and still associated with them to this day.

Did these people really think that if Kouketsu hadn't changed, he would have let them stand there and insult Blanche like that?

I didn't feel good here, so out in the open like this. I turned around and began to run in the opposite direction (the way I came from). Jumping from the rooftop I heard a ear shattering noise behind me the moment I hit the air, I dropped onto the side of the building and scaled it down before I was on the ground below. I was on the other side of the building, opposite to where Ryu was hiding himself. I walked forward ten meters, looking towards the building (the one that you're currently hiding behind). Now I stood in the center where I began, clear view of everything around me. I wasn't going to follow the man anymore, who knew what he was planning...
