Appearance:

Much like other members of his bloodline, the first thing most will notice is his gigantic fly trap and odd skin pigmentation. Though he shares these traits with his kin in some aspects, the way that his body goes about emulating them is a lot different. For example: While retaining a bright yellow fly trap, his supposed 'purity' has quite ironically tainted the growth with blue and red splotches, all of which take on the appearance of leaves.

Alongside his odd pigmentation lies his red and blue skin, the two-tone colour of his hide representing his odd state of mind. Supposedly, according to his parents and a village elder, this odd change of his body is meant to represent the purest point of the bloodline, the two points actually relating themselves to Knowledge (Blue) and Ambition (Red) respectively. Whether or not this is true, however, is yet to be settled on.

Through a mixture of clan pride, self pride and his shared teenage years with his vanity obsessed brother, Seidou is prone to constantly exposing his body, even going so far as to only cover up his genitals with a cloth wrap. Despite not sharing his closest ally's fascination with constant training regimes, he has partaken in a large variety of exercises in the past, leaving him extremely chiseled and fit. Despite many Kuro-Shiro not being physically adept or worthy of praise, he once again credits his pure connection to the bloodline for his exceptional physique.

Seidou; both aspects of his personality, once melded into one, go by this name. Purity, ambition and a quest for knowledge is all that drives him as a being. When relaxed his mind finds itself falling back into this state: a state of bliss, harmony and most importantly: stability. While balancing both aspects of his incredibly strong personality, Seidou is a perfectly rational human being on the surface.

Approachable, calm and caring are apt words to describe his demeanor. Not even skilled behaviorists are capable of seeing through this facade a lot of the time, as it is something that he has legitimately believes himself to be. In his eyes, he is nothing less than a caring deity willing to share the blessing of his presence with those that he deems worthy.

His outward personality, unfortunately, is a stark contrast to his inner workings. Though he exudes an air of carelessness and compassion, he is constantly taking in information, his mind picking apart those he comes in contact with. Information is key when it comes to making sure he isn't in danger and can avoid as much conflict as possible. Alongside being easily approachable by even the meekest of people, he is incredibly well spoken, his voice taking on an almost royal tone. While it is strong, it is by no means booming, as his presence is often enough to get him attention.

When completely focused on practices of the mind, his name is known as Apollo. Though it is rare for this aspect of his personality to take the reigns, when it does, it is quite a sight to behold. When deep in thought or calculation, Seidou takes on an unmatched level of desire for knowledge, while exhibiting all the poise of a seasoned scholar. With this aspect of his personality in full swing, he has been known to mercilessly calculate every word somebody speaks, his mind flicking through as many meanings as it can comprehend. ''Are their intentions pure?" ''Are they speaking with a sarcastic tone? "Are they putting emphasis on the correct letters?'' are common things for him to reflexively think, though unlike most people, he hears them out loud in his mind, leaving his highly capable brain to sift through it as quickly as it comes.

With this amount of neural processing, it isn't a surprise at all that this side of him is incredibly intelligent. Though it's ability to read human emotion isn't quite as potent as everything else, his mastery of all things logical and academic are astounding, as is his way of speaking. Aptly speaking with a plumb in his mouth, many people find it hard to understand him with his constant jittering and conversational swaying, leaving his sentences as nothing more than byways into another topic. Very few are capable of understanding what he is saying, not through a lack of pronunciation, but due to the speed and erratic fashion that his words come out in.

Ambition

Once pushed to anger, hostility or in the process of finalization an acquisition of power, it is common for this form, Astraea, to surface. The most dangerous of all his mindsets, Astraea is the closest Seidou gets to descending to human standards. Whether exhilarated at the prospect of more power, angered by ignorance or ineptitude or lost in the heat of an exciting battle, it is quite common for this mindset to take dominion over his body. Solely focused on gaining more ground, when he is in this part of his mind, he will not consider the feelings of others, the impact it'll have on their lives or how it'll leave their families.

Whether it be through merciless torture, ranging from choking people to death with his spores or leaving them to hang on a wooden spike, or swift deaths, 'Astraea' is willing to do whatever it takes to get where it needs to. Though he is hot headed and maybe even brash, this aspect isn't without intelligence. The extent and the specialization of the knowledge, however, differs greatly. Instead of pursuing knowledge through studies, observation or inquiry, he instead takes what he needs through hostility and violence.

CHRONICLES

Chapter 1: The Miracle of Birth.

Ah.. the fateful day that I was born, yes. I remember my mother speaking quite fondly of it. I was the first birth in a long time, on a very special day, in fact. Our small, humble little village was but a dot in Kusagakure's expanse. But from humble beginnings can come miraculous things, as my mother used to say. I came out with almost no complications, a natural birth delivered by my own father. My mother was stunned by the size of me, but what stunned the rest of the small audience even more was that I came out red and blue. Odd, no?

Their ignorance of the scale of my birth was inexcusable, were it not for my father, they would have thrown me to the side like a piece of common trash. Such wastefulness-- but alas, I'm getting off track here. I was odd to look at, even I can admit that much, but even weirder was my large mane of hair that I was gifted at birth. It was lovely, a pristine white, apparently. But it was irregular and thus looked down upon by the more common members of our community. I was passed off as some sort of demon baby or an infant simply born with a birth defect. Neither of those were true, of course. As the explanation for my birth would come some time later..

Chapter 2: The Importance of Purity.

.. The initial assumption that my birth coloring might fade with age was ill thought, and as such, at a ripe old age of five, I discovered the meaning behind my pigmentation. Most importantly, I discovered that it wasn't something to be shunned or snickered about. The bullies that used to call me names and throw me in berry bushes? Bah, they got what they deserved. It is ill mannered for a God to look back on memories such as this, but that complacent, dumbfounded look on that one boys face when the elder tested me was priceless. Absolutely priceless.

I recall the old lady saying as she stumbled upon our little village, or more specifically, the little hovel that the neighborhood bullies were beating me in. She could see my potential much like my parents, I knew that from both her words and that remarkable twinkle in her eye. As she approached me and waved the other children off, I remember being in complete awe of her. She was quite pretty for her age, like a seasoned oak, almost. All of 55, she stood there, smiling like a cheshire cat as she dotted a piece of material onto my forehead. As the small stone dug into my skin, I looked her up and down and began flailing and twitching, the painful twinge bringing me to tears. As she consoled me and brought me close for a hug, my younger self muttered a couple shy protests before she hushed me, the wise way she set out her words stabilizing me.

''Hush, child. A symbol of purity musn't cry, especially not in the presence of his kin!"

A symbol? Purity? That was a lot for a child my age to take in, but I sort of grasped the concept of it. Pure water tasted better and symbols helped identify areas or people, but beyond that I had no idea what the two of them together could have meant. Getting over my bout of tears as fast as it had started, I jumped up and began asking her all manner of questions. It is quite funny, in fact, the first assumption I made was that I was going to turn into a glass of water, like the old, pale man my father introduced me to. But as she rattled through the explanation and my young mind began to grasp it, I began to understand and finally feel my way around the situation. I was.. pure, I got that. But the purest example in the bloodline? Surely not, at least, that's how I thought. But sooner or later, I would find out about my wonderful future and the potential that my existence wrought for our people..

KURO-SHIRO; A SIGN OF PURITY

Tier 1 - Plant Body: Kuro-Shiro are now entirely immune to the effects of poison.

Tier 2 - Infiltration: Chakra drain for all supplementary Kuro-Shiro techniques is reduced by one tier. For example, Mid x2 would only cost a Mid amount of chakra. This mastery does not effect techniques that already cost a Low amount.

Tier 3 - Photosynthesis: If either Black or White die while under the influence of the Body-Splitting Technique, the remaining half regains the portion of their chakra that would otherwise be gone forever.

Special: Dominion extends 10 meters around the user and increases by 10 meters every rank. Kuro-Shiro members are not required to learn 'Mokuton Ryouuken (Wood Dominion)' because this acts as a substitute. The wood created by Kuro-Shiro are pumped full of chakra, unlike their natural counterparts. Therefore, their creations have more endurance, giving them a natural defense against any single attack of equal or lower rank.
Description: Kuro-Shiro members are far more adept at controlling wood than the average Mokuton user. They are able to use their chakra to strengthen and control natural wood and can even create it from pure chakra. However, their bond with Mokuton goes even further: they are capable of becoming one with it. This has earned them the nickname Wooden Demons.

Description: The Kuro-Shiro's body is, essentially, made from the plant-like organic material that they so often use in their techniques. Because of this, they have come up with the ability to heal damage when it has been taken. By performing handseals, they can either create this material or send chakra through a source (such as wood, grass, etc.). This material then molds around the wound, patching up the damage based on the skill level of the user.

Kizetsu Houshi (Stun Spore)

Special: The cloud's range is equal to half the range of 'Mokusei Akuryou.' When enhaled, these spores will cause paralysis of the muscles for 1 full turn, making it impossible for the victim to move during that time. The spores can effect friend and foe alike, but will not work on any member of the Kuro-Shiro bloodline. A Fuuton technique of equal or lower rank can disperse the spores. When first learned, this technique can only be used 1 time per thread, plus 1 more time with each retraining. However, can only be used 4 times maximum per thread.
Description: The Kuro-Shiro is adept at mimicking the effects of various plants, which is where this technique originated from. After performing a set of handseals, the user inhales and then exhales a dense, yellow cloud of tiny particles. If breathed in by an opponent, these spores will cause muscular paralysis. The Kuro-Shiro should avoid heavy winds at all costs when utilizing this technique.

Special: The range one can travel depends on the user's 'Mokusei Akuryou'. Because Kuro-Shiro are naturally one with Mokuton, they can remain inside a substance indefinitely without needing air, so long as they have the chakra to keep it up.
Description: Kagerou allows the user to merge their body with the ground (or sand) and any plant or tree large enough to conceal their size. They have the option to be fully submerged in the substance or only partially submerged. Then, using a network of organic matter they can travel through it at fast speeds.

Ne Tsuiseki (Root Tracking)

Description: After having learned Ne Tsuiseki, when the Kuro-Shiro submerges themself with the use of Kagerou they are given the ability to sense those around them. With a simple thought, their chakra leeches out around them and combines with organic material, which turns into roots. These roots spread out close to the surface of the substance, picking up on physical vibrations that run through. This is especially helpful when underground, as the Kuro-Shiro will be able to pinpoint the location of a living being that walks across the ground in their range. The downside, however, is that they will not be able to tell if that being is a person or animal without help.

Mokusei Yokuatsu (Wooden Suppression)

Special: While using Kagerou to meld with the ground or tree, the Kuro-Shiro can use Mokusei Yokuatsu to suppress their chakra so that they cannot be detected. Not even sensors or chakra-seeing Doujutsu are capable of locating them. This suppression lasts for 1 turn to start and with each retraining lasts 1 more turn. Can be activated at will and ended at will, however, it requires a cooldown of 1 turn before it can be reused.
Description: When the Kuro-Shiro feels that they need to hide more fully than just being within a substance can provide them, they can mentally activate Mokusei Yokuatsu. The organic material around them forms a special barrier with their chakra, almost like a caccoon, that prevents their chakra from being detected. If used correctly, this technique can be a highly effective reconnaissance tactic.

Karada Bunkatsu no Jutsu (Body-Splitting Technique)

Special: The split takes 1 entire post to complete. The user's chakra is divided equally between Black and White, and each are able to use any jutsu that the user knows. The only way for the halves to recombine is to meet up, however the collective Kuro-Shiro member regains all chakra and knowledge from both halves. Because Black and White are physical beings, they are able to travel as far away from each other as they like; the user is permitted double RP thread count so long as half is Black and half is White. The downside to this is that if either side dies, it is gone forever! The user will only have the remaining side to RP with and will be stuck with only half of their total chakra pool.
Description: Karada Bunkatsu is a keystone technique of the Kuro-Shiro bloodline. The user focuses chakra throughout their body. Slowly, the black half and the white half split down the middle and pull apart from one another. Each half regrows a leg, arm, and missing body mass out of white substance. However, this regrown area appears slightly disfigured and is incapable of creating finer details like eyes and ears. Black and White each keep a half of the venus flytrap growth on their body. These two halves act independently from one another, and to fit with the ying-yang symbolism of their clan each has a different aspect of the whole's personality.

Description: The Kuro-Shiro merges any part of themself with the ground, connecting to the vast system of underground roots within it. This allows Black and White to communicate with one another when separated, instantly.

Kisei Bunshin (Parasite Clone)

Special: Up to one clone can be made at a time, plus one more each time retrained. Can be relearned up to four times for a maximum of five clones. They can withstand a single attack one rank less than the user's 'Mokusei Akuryou'. When they are defeated, these clones do not disperse, but fall 'dead' to the ground until the user releases the technique, where they decompose into plant matter. They have the ability to travel great distances from the user, however maximum RP threads allowed remain the same. These special clones can use any Kuro-Shiro or Mokuton technique the user knows, but whatever attacks they perform will draw chakra from the user's pool. Finally, this technique can be used by Black or White but not the combination form.
Description: The split persona of the Kuro-Shiro must perform a set of handseals, channeling their chakra throughout their body. This chakra combines with plant material, either natural or created, to form an exact copy down to every last detail - except for the venus flytrap growth. Unlike most clone techniques, these clones are controlled remotely by the user and do not act on their own.

Houshi no Jutsu (Spore Technique)

Special: Direct physical contact by White is required to plant the spores. The spores are virtually indetectable by standard shinobi sensory techniques because they do not contain chakra. To activate the spores, White must be in the same thread as the host. However, they cannot be activated immediately and need at least 5 turns from planting to establish a position in the host's body. The copies can only be removed through force, which will injure the host since they have grown from the inside out. If the Kuro-Shiro does not activate the spores by the time the host has posted 50 times - starting with the post after the time they are planted - the spores will be die.
Description: By touching the opponent, White Kuro-Shiro is capable of planting spores inside their body, unknown to the opponent themself. These spores activate only when White commands them to by issuing forth a pulse of chakra. Once they are, they rapidly grow out of the host into copies of White, similar to Parasite Clones. These copies proceed to restrict the target's movements by covering their body in the plant material they are made out of and absorb the victim's chakra. The absorbed chakra can be transferred to another individual if the copies are able to make contact with them - even if it is not White.

Narikawari no Jutsu (Substitute Technique)

Special: This technique allows the Kuro-Shiro to morph into an exact copy of anyone, simply by touching them. They possess chakra identical to that of the one they are impersonating, but cannot use that person's techniques. The user can remain in this form for as long as they please, so long as they have the chakra to hold it. If a Parasite Clone has used this technique, even when they 'die' they will retain the appearance until the original releases it.
Description: The Kuro-Shiro (or Parasite Clone) is required to touch the person they want to duplicate. From that touch, they draw a small portion of the person's chakra; this mingles with their own as they use plant matter to transform their body into an exact copy. Narikawari can even duplicate the person's doujutsu, at least in appearance - they cannot be used. The chakra they have taken is used as a signature to tinge their form, covering up their own chakra so that even the most skilled sensor could not tell they are not the person they appear to be.

Nouritsuteki Hiryou (Efficient Fertilizer)

Special: Allows the user to expand their flytrap, trap somebody inside and then digest them. Strength of the user's Fly Trap is equal to one B-Rank strike and will be destroyed if sufficient force is applied. Digestion takes three turns, including the initial capture of the opponent.
Description: As Kuro-Shiro are widely considered to be some of the most advanced infiltrators, this technique goes hand in hand with remaining undetected, or disposing of evidence once they are ready to leave. By expanding their fly trap to fit the size of the target, the Kuro-Shiro will quickly spread the inside and form a membrane, which protects the users head, shoulders and body. Upon doing this, the fly trap will fully encapsulate the opponent, living or dead, and begin to flood the makeshift coffin with digestive fluids, with burn and begin to assimilate their corpse with the user. Once done, the Kuro-Shiro will reabsorb the liquid and then shrink their fly trap to the original size, leaving them looking perfectly normal.

Doukasayou (Assimilation)

Special: By focusing themselves further, the user will be able to digest the victim more efficiently, which allows the Kuro-Shiro to permanently absorb their chakra signature, memories and voice for use with Narikawari no Jutsu (Substitute Technique).
Description: The penultimate form of transformation; the assimilation of a body, living or otherwise, allows the user to permanently remember their victim's vital information, such as their appearance, chakra signature, voice and even their memories. While powerful in of itself, the technique truly shines when used with Narikawari no Jutsu, which lets them use their already useful skill of transformation for no chakra cost, meaning that whenever somebody is absorbed in this fashion, the Kuro-Shiro can shift to them at will, and maintain it for no cost, allowing for longer bouts of infiltration.

Special: Strength of wooden spikes depends on the user’s level of 'Wood Dominion'; range is equal to one's 'WD', halved. Main wood beam travels in a straight line, but will split into up to two spikes per use, plus one more each time retrained; however, upon the fourth retraining, chakra consumption will go up by one. Spikes can deviate up to 90 degrees from the main wood piece's travel path. Finally, growth speed of wood is double the user's max 'Mokuton Ryuuken' growth rate.
Description: After a few simple seals, the Mokuton user will changes one's own arm into big trees and use it to extend a large mass of spikes towards their target. Using chakra, the tissues are transformed into trees at the cellular level. Then, by activating the trees, stimulating them to grow rapidly, they lengthen at high speed and fork into many branches. These spikes can act both to impale his target and as a barrier to protect a comrade. Such is the strength of the stakes that it is said to be able to break through defenses of the same Rank or lower than the technique. When the technique is over, the trees fall off of the user's arm and the user will regain the use of his or her arms.

Jubaku no Jutsu (Tree Restraints Technique)

Special: Strength of restraints, growth speed, and range at which the user can entrap a victim depends on their 'Mokuton Ryuuken'. Beams appear all around a single target after the user forms the desired handseals and slams their hands on the ground; a half-second delay exists between the end of the seals and the actual plant growth. Binding lasts until destroyed using a strike equally ranked to the restraints, or until it is dispelled by the user. Up to one victim can be bound at once, plus one more each time retrained; however, after every third retraining, chakra consumption will go up by one.
Description: Using his ability to utilize Mokuton, the user will form handseals and cause beams of wood to emerge from the ground below and around the targets feet. Emerging in the blink of an eye, these beams are quite malleable while still retaining their hardness. Best of all, these beams will wrap around the target to bind them entirely, preventing almost all forms of movement, including handseals!

Special: Strength of restraints and range at which the user can entrap a victim depends on their 'Mokuton Ryuuken'. An advanced version of 'Jubaku no Jutsu', this allows the user to entrap large objects in wood, to the point a tree is formed out of the creation with the victim in the center. Size of objects which can be entrapped is equal to half the user's 'Mokuton Ryuuken' range. Finally, tree growth occurs within the turn it is used, with the highest rank known in this technique decreasing the time. Tree appears all around a single target after the user forms the desired handseals and slams their hands on the ground; a half-second delay exists between the end of the seals and the actual plant growth, though once entrapped, only an outside strike can free the victim. Binding lasts until destroyed using a strike equally ranked to the restraints, or until it is dispelled by the user; each turn that it remains, the tree will use the victim's chakra to keep it alive, draining energy per turn equal to how much the user paid for its creation. Finally, only one victim can be kept within a tree at any given time.

Special: Spawns a forest the same size as one's 'Mokuton Ryuuken' range, which grows up and round from whichever epicenter the user chooses as their starting point; epicenter must be within their 'MR' range. Forest growth is equal to their 'MR' rate, doubled. Upon being formed, specific trees can be commanded to bind and form around people, to either protect them or to bind them, so as long as the user can visually see his victim, or actively be able to sense their presence through sensor-related techniques. Cannot bind targets larger than the forest itself. Finally, because of the extreme nature of the technique, this can only be created once per thread, plus one more each time retrained; however, for every retraining completed, chakra consumption will go up by one.
Description: The user forces trees to grow on any surface, easily creating a dense forest anywhere they choose. The technique can be used to bind an opponent and alter a battlefield for their own use, effectively turning the battle immediately in their favour. After summoning the trees, the forest is left there indefinately until such a time as they're all removed. The trees are thick and aren't spread very far apart, leaving the area completely swamped in trees and brush. Anyone caught within is likely to get lost without strong tracking skills.
