Unexpectedly, as Masuyo created another clone and intented to use it to blow him back up toawrds the platform, another unbelievably powerful blast of wind sent him rocking down towards the earth, falling faster than ever! The clone below him had been destroyed from taking a direct hit from the torrent of wind, leaving Masuyo alone and falling with alarming speeds. Meanwhile, the clones along with everyone else had also caught the full brunt of Fujaku's attack, however, while minimal damage had been mitigated, it proved to be enough to simply push the clones back and off the platform without actually dispelling them. If anything, the sprawled war fan acted as a wall pushing them back.

As they fell in tandem with the others, the young girl screamed for help as she, obviously, had no way to prevent herself from falling. Masuyo himself, falling almost as fast when running with Senjutsu, used his bestial strength granted to him during his sage transformation. The pressure that collided with his body as he fell had been undeniably powerful, however, he managed to gain control of his hands and move them against the pressure to form hand-signatures.

"C'mon C'mon! This isn't good!"

Getting into the rhythm, his hands danced through the seals as quickly as possible, and once completed, his chakra mixed in with the air, namely creating a wind resistant sphere of fuuton chakra that halved the speed of any moving object within its vicinity. Having created it a handful of meters in front of him, he fell threw the entire area, which significantly dampened the speed in which he fell. Feeling that it hadn't been enough, he formed the same exact seals down to the letter and opted to re-cast the technique the same way he had done before.

Halving his falling speed yet again, he recycled the process for a third time, and by that time, the speed of his fall dampened substantially, enough so that he began to fall 'normally'.

During that entire time, the one remaining clone that Masuyo had (that was pushed off with the fan) stabilized itself upon the fan and used it to re-obtain flight via Tobitatsu. Thereafter, it chased after and safely retrieved Kotarra & Masuyo's sister before focusing on Masuyo himself. While a considerable vertical distance had been between the two, the clones decent -when amplified by Kyodai Sensu- proved to be faster than Masuyo's regulated fall, allowing them to gradually close the distance. Still miles upon miles in the air from the 'floating ship, they hadn't been anywhere close to the ground and as a result, provided them with ample time to bounce back and recover.

Finally after several moments of panic, the clone -while on the fan- finally paralleled itself with its creator, grabbed the collar of his shirt and immediately, pulled him towards it. Flexing his legs in a way where his feet laced with chakra would've tied him to the fan's surface, the clone leveled out the fan (horizontally) as they hovered for a moment before re-ascending.

Furious, Masuyo Looked to Kotarra and inquired about the Fujaku totting man.

"What the hell was that?! Because you told me not to remove the rod, we were nearly killed by that man! Next time I see a rod, I'm pulling out regardless of what you say!"

Snapping his head back up towards the 'ship', the group made their way back up, noticing that the platform had been utterly destroyed.

Sphere can be placed anywhere, with a specific target acting as the epicenter.
Description: After one has mastered Kakucho Sokudo, they are sufficiently versed in the art of wind resistance to manipulate it even further. A few hand seals are performed, and the user releases their chakra into the air around them. It quickly starts to concentrate around nearby enemies, making it more difficult for them to move and therefore slowing them down until the chakra disperses again.

Description: The user combines a refined knowledge of the Fuuton release with the benefits of the Kyodai Sensu: namely, the ability to manipulate wind without the use of seals. The fan is spread out to its fullest extent and gripped at each side. Focusing, they imbibe the weapon with their chakra. The user is then able to leap into the air, controlling the wind currents as they see fit, effectively giving them the ability to fly around for a short while. Other ninjutsu techniques may be combined with Tobitatsu to create a formidable foe. Unfortunately, if the user has not trained sufficiently with this technique they will find it hard to maintain. Once their time limit in the sky has expired they will plummet to the ground, making it a good idea to plan ahead.

Up and away in the strange sphere, your momentary attacker is already gone, your advanced hearing picking up on the sound of the electric hum buzzing like a field of static around the odd clear bubble. It shoots into the air, insanely fast, and as he disappears into the clouds above, your one chance of retrieving the blades seems to be getting away from you. You can recall from the now dead Captain's previous conversation that the swords were ordered to be taken to the pirate's main ship, somewhere in the colossal floating city that breaks the line of sky. You are quite far away, and your technique will not allow you to follow the man forever on a simple fan, but there is some small hope remaining.

Almost like clockwork, a seconds sphere descends from above, no doubt an automated process activated to stop only when it has received the machine it was sent to originally carry. That machine, of course, has already plummeted into the sea below during the course of your battle. After a few seconds of spinning undisturbed, it returns to where it came from, moments pass, and a new bubble descends, the process repeating. If you can make it back to the area of the ruined platform (which in its destroyed state is only capable of supporting, at most, one of you), you may be able to follow the man before he reaches the stronghold of the Jormungand. This of course, presents another problem; the sphere can only hold and effectively travel with one person. While you can leave either your sister or the girl you are charged to protect on the platform, you'll have to figure something out for the other one, and time is against you.

You are quite some distance away from the platform after your decent. You must figure out what to do, and now.

Ascending back up towards the now destroyed platform with his clones, Kotorra and his sister, his heightened sense of hearing picked up a buzzing noise that heavily resembled a field of static. Even though the machinery along with the platform plummeted down into the vast ocean below them, the bubbles still descended from the ships maw, almost as if it still expected it to be filled. Before long it ascended just like its precedessor, however, it soon rose up as well, which only meant that those cycling bubbles held the golden key to the ship itself. Noticing the remaining platform turned out to be overly flimsy and fragile after having taken the full brunt of Fujaku's attack.

Masuyo -along with his two clones- hovered just below the platform in tandem with raising their arms up while pushing upwardly as to balance out of the platform. As the strongest of the group, Masuyo opted to go first and climbed up, over, and on top of the platform as a bubble descended. Maintaining his balance as the clones beneath the platform (still on the fan) pushed up against it, Masuyo reached out towards the bubble, touched its surface hesitantly. Presuming that his entire body would sink in as his finger did, he'd hop lightly in an up-forward motion, landing inside the bubble - safely. Had the bubble reacted in and raised him up to the ship, the clones would've ordered Kotorra to to the same while they supported the platform.

His sister, still unconscious, needed to be awakened if she even had a chance of not dying. Besides, while the clones carried Masuyo's techniques, they carried the limitations that came with them as well.

An elegant solution to the structural instability of the platform. You gain safe passage within the odd bubble leading you up and into the clouds and closer to the ship.

When a few seconds of travel turn into a few minutes, the sphere comes to a sudden halt, and if you look down, you will be able to see that you've traveled a considerable distance from the platform itself. But you cannot worry about this for long. The man you pursue, the man with the fabled blades it has been impossible to ignore.

He is 50 meters away and moving fast, and has almost reached a floating pavilion next to which, an enormous airship is docked. There is a straight forward path leading to him; several 'workers' are stationed on either side of this path (at least 30), all of which look in your direction, and begin crowding the area between you and your target. However, if the man is allowed to reach the ship, there is a good chance the legendary swords will be lost to you forever.

A strong sense of uneasiness amassed inside both Masuyo's mind and body as the bubble ascended to extraordinary heights, leaving behind the lower platform and soon realizing that so much more laid above. It all had been overly massive, literally, everything! Unfortunately sight-seeing hadn't squeezed itself into Masuyo's never ending quest to restore his broken family and take back the village he once referred to as his home. Nevertheless, once he reached the higher platform, which could've only be described as a loading dock seemingly for airships, the seemingly mindless man that carried the fabled soaring short swords eased into plain view - just barely. Roughly 50 meters away, he continued to move with considerable speeds.

"There you are."

Mumbling to himself in a low tone just as the 'workers' of the dock swarmed Masuyo, conglomerating in the center of the only path. Blocked with limited options to get through the remarkably large crowd of 'workers', Masuyo felt as though he already knew the easiest and most effective way to get through the group. . .

And eventually.

The swords.

Full well knowing that turning back literally became an impossibility, he wanted, no, he needed to push forward if he even dared save anyone or anything. Failure hadn't been an option, not then. Eyebrows descended in anger, Masuyo's hands merged together and formed a single hand--signature before using a massive amount of chakra. While overly taxing to the standard ninja, Masuyo's network carried unbelievable amounts of Chakra, one of which he'd use to the fullest to seize whatever he wanted.

No more than a moment later than the formation of his hand-seal, had a mountain of clones (40) fell upon the entire group from a exceptionally large plume of smoke. Outnumbered by ten, Masuyo easily held the advantage in terms of number which only added to his 'distraction' considering that the workers would've been the unfortunate ones to deal with them all - one by one.

As they'd fall, launching a variety of aerial attacks until they landed, generalized taijutsu allowed them to fully engage the amassed worker's in full. Unable to succumb to the loss of time, Masuyo's increase strength and speed (coupled with a tensed crouch), launched him in an up-forward manner just over (about a 3 meters above arm reach) the entire group.

Landing, he never looked back. Instead, he rushed forward to apprehend the man that nearly sealed not only his own fate, but the others as well.

"You wont get away!"

Presuming that everything proceeded according to plan, Masuyo's undeniable speeds would've easily reduced that 50 meter gap into 10 in second(s).

Due to the excessive amount of clones, chakra cannot be returned to the user, and these Kage Bunshin are unable to be detonated.
Description: Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu is an advanced variation of the Kage Bunshin Ninjutsu technique, reserved only for those seriously in tune with their chakra networks. Despite the ban it has earned over the toll this jutsu takes on a shinobi's chakra network, it has nt stopped many Jounin level ninja from learning the technique. Instead of creating several clones, several hundred clones are created. Like normal Kage Bunshin a ninja's chakra is split evenly among the clones when created. Like the regular Shadow Clones, the clones themselves can utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clones finally disperse, any new knowledge they have gained is passed back to the original ninja and to any additional clones.

THE MAIN EVENT.

Your experience in the ways of combat, shows. You have met an overwhelming force with an even greater response and upon closing within 10 meters of your prey, seem to be on the road to claiming the weapons that seem to have been yours from the start. But the man you chase is prideful. He turns around, somehow KNOWING that you are there, and removes the blades quickly, easily, preparing for the attack he knows will come...

...and then...then he SCREAMS. His insides seem to twist and warp in place, the space around him seems to tear apart into a splattering of blood, and only his arms seem to be left, clinging vainly to the blades while small tortured sounds ring out across the docks. The various ruffians still struggling with your clones stop briefly to stare in the direction of the horrifying sound, and from that great rupture in the world itself, a figure emerges.

Before the remaining severed arms still holding the great wind blades can fall to the floor, two hands pluck them out of the air. A long sweep of black hair and fierce eyes look down on you with contempt, and a shuddering through the very air prevents you from immediately closing the distance.

He slashes the blades through the air experimentally a few times, and twists the only portion of his face not concealed by a black hood into the imitation of a smile.

You must now retrieve the swords, from him.

("You have become quite an interesting nuisance now, Masuyo Kekkai.")

He removes the cloak and hood, the short swords floating casually down to his sides, and folds his hands across his chest. Arrogant. Brimming with palpable hatred. An unmoving titan against the howling wind and dark clouds; even the slow rainfall that slides down from higher above seems afraid to directly touch his skin and steams off into nothingness as it nears him. He radiates power and chakra, your enhanced senses can hear it sizzling away at the moisture.

("Did you think you would get these swords, and your troubles would be over? Did you see yourself as the valiant hero come to save the day?")

His words are taunting, but he is calm. He attempts to stare deep into your eyes as the inverted sharingan pattern of his eyes spins lazily, penetrating.

("Do you think there is ANYTHING you have done, or will EVER do, that is NOT by MY design? ")

The corners of his mouth form a knowing smirk as he steps slowly towards you. His eyes have not strayed from the motions of your body.

Hot on the aforementioned man's heels, Masuyo readied himself to close the gap and soon seize the man that wielded the twin swords that he searched for contentedly. Masuyo had been so close, so much so that it seemed to be in an almost 'too good to be true' manner. As if straight out of a stage play, the man suddenly turned around as if he somehow knew that Masuyo managed efficiently sift through his amassed crowd of ruffians. His hands instinctively went for the twin blades in an attempt to thwart Masuyo's impending assault when suddenly, he screamed.

Masuyo stopped abruptly as the man's body soon began to twist and convulse vehemently. It seemed that the space around him had been torn apart which caused his body to stretch, fold, and rupture. Blood, flesh, and bone alike splattered across the ground, amassing into a flowing red puddle. Had it been over? While Masuyo unmistakably had no idea, and there wasn't a way to usher in any certainty. Waiting patiently to gauge the aftermath of the events, the twin swords -still gripped in the man's remaining hands- fell to the ground.

Masuyo wanted to lung forward and retrieve the swords, he really did, however, almost faster than his own eyes could perceive, a pair of secondary hands pried the twin swords from the previous' grip and plucked them out of the air in a single motion. And just like that, he showed up, the last living being that Masuyo ever wanted to see. Standing at the ready as AU-2 spoke out directly towards Masuyo, his hands closed into tight fists, knowing that he needed to fight that juggernaut of a ninja.

Having understood and learned to control even the finest of chakra, Masuyo saw and felt AU-2's infinitely increasing power, like a shark swimming in a pool of wounded sea-creatures. His 'aura' proved to be quite discouraging, however, Masuyo knew that he'd come much too far to simply bow down and surrender with a tail in-between his legs.

"If everything I've done and will EVER do was YOUR design, then I guess you already know that you're going to die by MY hands."

Once spoken, Masuyo bolted forward, no longer having any words to spare on AU-2's behalf. Closing the gap with amazing speeds (in striking range), Masuyo stepped in with his right foot in tandem with bending and bringing his left up off the ground and snapping towards AU-2's own leg with a lusterless leg-kick.

("Kill me?")

("You can't even touch me, Masuyo.")

Your linear movement has been read since the instant you made it, and as you rush forward, committing for even the briefest instant to the kick, AU-2 simply steps forward. Your leg moves through his own, partially before you would be able to change its angle to compensate, before even the full power of the kick would be felt on his end, but his hand...it is still tangible and real, and while you arc towards him, he grabs your throat viciously, and pulls you up into the air, staring directly into your eyes with disdain¹ and the flooding of chakra.

("Pathetic.")

His left hand jerks forward, an open palm strike directly to the chest that, if it connects, will send you back at least 10 meters as his other hand releases your throat. Regardless of your ability to counter or defend, he will simply see it occur before your actions are taken, and adjust so that there is no way to prevent his assault.

("I want to hear more Masuyo. More of the empty promises that left your sister a huddled mass of whore trash as even the animals took her dignity over and over again. More of the brave words that did not save her virtue, and will not save your home, and cannot save you. I want...your hatred, Masuyo. ")

He walks towards you, stalking you as you would rise.

Kamui (God's Majesty)

Special: This unique ability can be separated into two entirely different phases: teleportation and intangibility. Likewise, it can be performed with or without the Mangekyou Sharingan activated.

Teleportation: This phase of the Kamui ability allows the user to warp objects in and out of an entirely different dimension. Despite the power of this ability, there is a maximum size and number to the objects that a user can transport (in and out) at any single moment. The size cannot be more than x5 the size of your average human body, and no more than five objects at once. It should be noted that Kamui is capable of teleporting nearly anything caught in its path, from entirely ethereal constructs (such as Rasengan) to corporeal items (weapons, bodies, etc); however, the user must be able to see the object in question. Once inside the alternative dimension, there is no method of escaping unless the user wishes to release you.

Intangibility: Considered to be the close quarters version of the ability, or self-inflicted, this allows the user to turn the transporting capability of Kamui on themselves. This allows the user to instantly, at their will, teleport a specific portion (up to their entire body) into the alternative dimension linked to this dojutsu. Generally being overlapped by the incoming object in question, this allows the user to appear "intangible," as if the attack is simply slipping through them. Sustaining the usage of this technique per turn requires an increment of one High worth of chakra.

Using the teleportation aspect of kamui (external) has its drawback, though. You can only teleport objects in or out in a single post; this means you can't teleport something into the alternative dimension and out of it in the same post. Furthermore, you cannot use the teleportation and intangibility aspect of kamui simultaneously. Beyond that, only teleporting objects into the alternative dimension causes the wear and tear associated with the Mangekyou eye (i.e uses a "charge"). Using the "intangibility" aspect does not.
Description: Kamui, named for God's Majesty, is a Ninjutsu technique which uses the Mangekyou Sharingan eye to generate an imploding transportation vortex. After producing the Mangekyou eye, focuses on an area of his target. The surrounding area will then warp and collapse in on itself, quickly reducing the surrounding area to nothingness. The technique will transport the focused area away to another location or dimension of the user's choosing. From small projectile to whole locations, as long as the user focuses their eye on it, they can cause its teleporation. Although causing heavy strain on the user, it is said to be unavoidable due to its delivery.

Masuyo's 'lusterless leg-kick' lacked power and vitality which only allowed it to fulfill and perform its true intentions - a feinted kick. Using a 'mock' action coupled with the speeds provided by Senjutsu would've undoubtedly caught any normal shinobi completely off guard, however, AU-2 obviously failed to fall within that category.

Nevertheless, instead of following through with the suspected low kick, it elevated within the blink of an eye and snapped forward completely in an attempt to strike the side of AU-2's head. Whether or not Masuyo's attack actually landed or not, it wouldn't have prevented his body from being helplessly knocked-back from an outstandingly powerful palm-strike to the chest.

While Masuyo's thick bear-like skin protected him against even the more advanced & powerful taijutsu attacks, AU-2's power registered on an entirely different level, a level that Masuyo could never hope to reach without the aide of Sage mode. Knowing what he'd been capable of with just his natural strength alone, admittedly, scared Masuyo, however, fear is what kept him going even in the face of certain death. Masuyo's body crashed against the floor with enough concussive force that it caused the ground to break and split as he slid across its surface.

Coming to a slow stop, he managed to fight through the throbbing pain and lifted himself up onto both feet in tandem with wiping away trickles of spat up blood from around his mouth. The way he spoke of Masuyo's only sister infuriated him and did nothing but cause his hatred to fester and ripen to an unimaginable scale.

"I have made empty promises before, but if there is one that I will see to the ever end, its making sure I watch the very last breath you breathe escape your body. . ."

"Even if it means using up my own!!!"

"You're going to pay for your crimes one way or another!!!"

Swiftly, Masuyo reached into one of his handy ninja packs and retrieved two smoke grenades with both hands. He tossed one 5 meters forward towards AU-2 while (in tandem) dropping the other at his feet, both of which exploded into a rapidly spreading smoke, a smoke that only the byakugan could effectively see through and penetrate. With that, the moment Masuyo's hands were free (once the smoke fully obscured them), they came together and formed a single hand signature, one that beckoned forth a trio of clones (front, left, and right, all facing away from Masuyo), all spawned with the same equipment.

Each clone individually, yet simultaneously, reached for and retrieved a single exploding note which they think placed on their chest beneath their shirt. During that time, a second hand sign had been made, bringing forth a special clone (5 meters from AU-2's last known location), one that carried explosive properties with it.

Finally the smoke cleared, and by that time, it'd been AU-2's move.

However, when a clone is defeated or chooses to disappear, whatever remaining chakra within their bodies, as well as their knowledge, returns to the user. The only exception is 'Bunshin Bakuha', which sacrifices the chakra return for a grand explosion. This technique can only be learned by Jounin ranked shinobi; no exceptions!
Description: Kage Bunshin is an advanced, forbidden Ninjutsu technique, which grants the user the ability to create a tangible clone. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. However, Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance, to the point the clone can utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows, and spawns with any equipment the user has one them at the time of the summoning. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones.

Special: This technique can only detonate one clone at any given time. Likewise, it forfeits the knowledge\chakra one would naturally gain when their clone is destroyed.
Description: A follow up technique to the regular Kage Bunshin, Bunshin Bakuha is an advanced ninjutsu technique utilized by highly skilled and ranked shinobi in order for them to detonate a regular Shadow Clone at impressive levels. Once a normal Kage Bunshin is created, the user can detonate the clone at any time to form a very large explosion. The entire amount of chakra left within the clone forms the energy behind the blast, and although it lacks fiery properties, the sudden blast and subsequent implosion/explosion phase is enough to blast through rock easily, leaving serious dents in steel/metal creations

Whom did you think you were to stand against his power? As you swing your leg forward, his eyes had already predicted your next movement. You may have possessed the ability to use Sage Mode, but against his Mangekyou Sharingan topped with his superior strength and speed, your attacks would remain fruitless. Effortlessly raising his right arm to guard his against your kick, he would grip your leg, punching you with his open hand to send you tumbling backward.

"Is this all you have to offer me?"

That had been his only response to your courageous words. You managed to survive this time, but his next assault would be aimed to kill. Despite the battle already being over the moment you gazed into his eyes, toying with you had provided him more fun. Crossing his arms as you withdrew your two smoke grenades, his face held its usual grimace. He closed his eyes to both avoid being blinded by the smoke and prepare his next technique.

"Pathetic."

His head gradually descended before rising with his right eye now open. Blood had begun to trickle down his face as pressure built up around him. Focusing his eye intently upon you as you performed your single seal to spawn three clones, the area which you stood, along with you and your clones (if you did not move), would be incinerated. The flames burned slow, but its execution had been near instantly.

Amaterasu (Goddess of the Sun)

Special: Amaterasu fires as a relatively fast moving projectile, starting from shortly in front of the user toward the target. This technique causes severe damage to the retina, causing the user to bleed from the eye used to cast this technique and severely hindering their eyesight. The initial gout of black flame generated by the eye can be guided (as demonstrated in the manga), and upon contacting a surface, expands rapidly, burning anything and everything in its path. These flames are capable of burning through many, if not all, barriers and defenses. Likewise, it can eat through and overpower most offensive jutsu as well (especially katon).
Description: Amaterasu, named for the Goddess of the Sun, is a Ninjutsu technique which uses the Mangekyou form of the Sharingan eye in order to create the most powerful black fire known to man. This jutsu is generated by the Mangekyou eye. It has been said that anything within the Mangekyou's vision will burn to ash if consumed by the fire. The fire itself is said to burn for 7 days and 7 nights. The jet-black flames of the Amaterasu, said to be the fires from hell that are as hot as the sun, ignite at the focus of the user's vision, making the attack nearly unavoidable. Though it is regarded as the strongest of Mangekyou's physical attacks, usage of the ability will degrade the eye further and lead the user to blindness.

Tapping into the wellspring of power provided by the fabled Mangekyo Sharingan, AU-2 successfully foiled Masuyo's initial course of action, however, he managed to assess the situation at hand an persevere. The farthest clone (from Masuyo) was set ablaze with by a conjuration of fire the likes of which the young sage had never seen. It expanded and distrubuted quickly, reaching out towards the clones that guarded and surrounded their maker, slowing down its spread just long enough for Masuyo to escape. In individual plumes of smoke, the clones vanished, and once they had, Masuyo made his move.

Merging both hands to perform a series of hand signatures in tandem with bolting and curving around the incoming flames towards AU-2's righter most flank / side, his speed proved to be far superior than amaterasu's own. Masuyo positioned himself where he stood (5m away - parallel) facing the right side of AU-2's body where his hand, aligned with his body, extended in a straight punch. While a considerable distance away, the green wave of fuuton chakra that vehemently ejected from said punch would've easily reached and even passed AU-2's location.

"DIE!!!"

Presuming that everything proceeded as planned, Masuyo's enhanced hearing and smell, he effectively gauged Amaterasu's distances and rate of travel in correlation to his own (4th gate speed), knowing that as long as that body of flame had been driven by AU-2's focus and control, he'd never be safe.

Description: To perform Kushu, the user runs through a series of seals and then focuses their chakra on a fist. This is generally the dominant hand for top power. A green aura takes shape, and is quickly replaced by a spherical casing of highly condensed wind. The user simply needs to throw a punch at a target and the wind will continue to travel, lengthening the range of the punch itself. Contact with this high density wind will cause cuts from a distance, but a close-range or contact punch has the ability to cause major internal damage in the afflicted area. As your clones are burned out of existence, his face remained expressionless. Any excitement that he wished to achieve was thwarted the moment he realized you survive. Once more, you happened to escape the grasp of death, but it would take more than a dodge to secure victory. Becoming uninterested with you, and the fight as a whole, as you approached his western flank with completed seals, he would show you just how futile your attacks were.

"Hmm?"

Turning his head to face you, his eyebrows curved down to display features that exhibited his emotions. If it were not for his eyes, dodging your attack would be nearly impossible, especially with you being up close. However, that was not his intentions in the first place. Your heartbeat would rise as you see your technique seemingly hits the man, lifting him up off his feet and tossing him aside, shredding the majority of his armor in the process.

"Ugh..."

He had struggled to keep his eyes open, titling his head up slightly to look at you. With his arms, he had started to prop himself upward, utilizing his elbows to provide him support. The moment you waited for had finally presented itself. After all the time that has passed, you finally have the chance to speak your mind. Your opponent continues trying to stand upon his feet, hands slowly coming together for another technique, but he has been left wide open.

The attack landed, surprisingly. Granted, Masuyo was confident in his course of action, however, to have hit and even knocked AU-2 back so easily genuinely caught him off guard. While a great many shinobi knew that all had weaknesses that could be exploited, AU-2 registered as the select few whose weaknesses were far and few, presuming they even existed to begin with.

Nevertheless, that mentality cemented the idea that something was wrong, things hadn't been what they truly seemed to be. Knowing of AU-2's power, a mere wind attack couldn't have possibly been enough to deliver a considerable amount of damage, even if fired off through a sage's hand.

"No, just. . .no. This can't be right. It couldn't have been this easy, even as eager as I am to kill him, I know something is wrong. "

Analyzing the situation within the safety of his own mind, Masuyo's body remained stationary, opting not to move or advance any closer towards AU-2's position. Eyes focused on his location, the young sage questioned all that had transpired thus far - curiously so.

"Why are you trying to play games with me?! Get Up! While I hold me own abilities in high esteem, they aren't enough to fell the man who seized Amegakure for so many years. . ."

"Not this easily. "

Presuming he hadn't been interrupted, a single step cast itself forward as Masuyo's hands curled into tight fists, watching his movements even as his hands danced through the constellations.

"You're toying with me, I know. But I plan on keeping my promise to kill you! "
