A Rivalry Begins... Perhaps.... [Ranshi Only]

Date, Sora found himself walking through the streets of Konoha with nothing to do. His apartment was empty as his parents were out on business and the village didn't have any work for him at the moment. Just another day in the village hidden in the leaves. un was shining and there wasn't much cloud coverage. It was hot which made Sora sweat compounding with his boredom to make him feel even more uncomfortable. In order to escape the heat he ducked into a local book store.

He perused the literature in the store till he found something that interested him. When he tried to get a feel for the book, the owner got on him. He had said something "about no reading without purchase." Sora didn't feel like arguing so he decided to just buy the book. When he tried to read his newly bought book in the store, the owner got on him about loitering. Sora sighed. He left the store to find a nice place to read, but flipped the store owner the bird before doing so, causing the old man to grow red in the face.

Sora made his way to a small training field that he figured no one used. It was close to the edge of the village and took up about fifty by one hundred meter rectangle of land. It had the basic training ground set up, a dozen or so wooden pillars used for taijutsu practice arranged rows of three, four pillars deep. There was also a small pond to the east of the pillars by about ten meters. The rest of the land was open space for sparing and maneuvers training.

Sora sat himself under a tree located just on the border of the TG and started reading. After about ten minutes he found himself frustrated with his purchase. He had thought from the title that it was a sci-fi novel but instead it was a romance novel. Sora tried to get over it but something in him compelled him to give in to his frustration and throw the book away from him as hard as he could.

The sun was set high in the sky as the newly awakened Uchiha set upon one of the wooden pillars, his face would remain plain though he was recapping the battle that had taken place in this very field. 'I guess I need to brush up on my Taijutsu.' the boy thought to himself as he watched the clouds pass over. Even though he had gained his first tomoe he had felt as if he lost the fight.

"I guess I'll call it a draw."

The boy would say as his eyes fell from the sky, he would spot a boy off in the distance. He would watch as the boy walked towards the tree that wasn't far from his location, Ranshi would jump off of the pillar that he sat on landing softly on the ground. As he would approach the boy he would place his hands in his pockets,

"Yo, what brings you to these parts?"a

[Ought]

"Yo, what brings you to these parts?"

The words came just as the book left Sora's hand. The sudden appearance of sound in the from of words that were directed at him, startled him.

"Oh shit!" he said in surprise, turning to see a guy a few inches taller then him standing there nonchalantly. "You startled me man." he sighed. "Not much, I was trying to read but it didn't go as well as I had hoped." He nodded over towards the book that was laying on the ground meters away.

"Can I assume you were using this training ground to train?"

It had seemed the brown haired fellow was a bit startled by Ranshi's sudden appearance, It was weird though because Ranshi was trying his best not to startled the kid and he was still cared. It seemed kind of weird that a Ninja was jumpy in his own homeland, but Ranshi wouldn't pay much attention to that for now as of now. He would listen to kid explaining to him what he was doing out in these parts, Ranshi would lean his head slightly trying to take a better look at the boy.

"Well, I wouldn't call it training. I was just clearing my mind a little ya know?"

He would say as he return to his normal stance, the Uchiha was trying to figure out if he had seen the kid before. But there was nothing, he just kept drawing blanks. So before the other boy could even say one thing Ranshi would begin talking.

"But anyway's, What's your name bro? I don't remember you from anywhere around these parts."

[Ought]

The initial feeling of surprise left Sora pretty quickly. He made "Oh, I'm Sora. Date, Sora. And yeah, I've kinda been a shut in up until recently. " Sora took a closer look at the kid infront of him. He seemed familiar but it he couldn't put his finger on it. He thought on it for a second or two. Then it hit him.

"That's right" He thought to himself. He had competed against this kid years ago, back in the academy, during the many competitions that the instructors held to try and promote growth among the students. If he recalled correctly, the kid was pretty good, usually did well in the competitions. As opposed to Sora who was mediocre at best back then.

"I had forgotten about it, but I think we went to the academy together..... I'm pretty sure you graduated before me though..... Uh... Ranshi right? Or was it Tenshi?"

Sora was kind of upset that he couldn't remember the guys name. Then again it had been years ago, and it wasn't like they had been close friends.

"Hey do you remember those tournaments the instructors had us compete in?"

Ranshi would listen as the boy rambled on, he had stilled seemed a bit uneasy but the Uchiha would pay little mind to it. 'Fighting in academy?' The boy thought to himself as a smirk came across his face, the memory was faint but it was surely there. Ranshi would cross his arms,

"I guess you must have kept a pretty close eye on me if you know both of my names?"

The Genin could remember times where he crushed this kid in hand-to-hand combat when he was much younger. But he wouldn't act as if he was better than the kid, because things could have changed from so long ago.

"So, Sora you still bad at fighting? Or have you got any better cause I could go for a quick spar, Hand to hand only?"

[Ought]

" You make me sound like some type of stalker. Naw, I just have decent memory." Sora said. He laughed slightly at the idea of himself actually being a serial stalker.

He still felt uncomfortable, as he wasn't used to longer conversations like this, but it was nice to talk to someone in a friendly manner and have it be reciprocated. He had been starting to think that everyone in Konoha took life way to seriously. Then again with the war a few years ago and the plague now, you couldn't blame people from being serious. Sora realized that he was letting his mind get off track. Ranshi offered for them to spar. Sora grinned, and laughed again.

"Sure man. I may still be socially awkward but my moves have gotten better. You want to use Ninjutsu, or just stick to Tai?" he said before jogging backwards and to the left about ten or eleven meters so that he was from underneath the shad of the tree and out in the sun.

As the sun shined bright in the air Ranshi stood about ten meters from await from a old friend, they had a funny past together which lead to the spar that was about to happen. The Chakra would flow to the Uchiha's eyes causing his eyes to glow a bright crimson red,, a smirk would come across his face as he had felt like this was going to be a nice workout.

"Tai only!"

The Uchiha would say as his moves would be very swift moving towards the brown haired leaf Shinobi, it hadn't been too much space the two so it wouldn't take much for Ranshi to close the distance between the two. With the distance cut down to about 2 meters in just a second the Uchiha would swing his left arm directly at Sora's throat attempting to clothesline him.

Sharingan I

[Ought]

Ranshi was definitely as fast as he remembered. Sora noticed that just before he took off Ranshi's eyes changed color. "Oh he has the Sharingan. That's new." He thought.

Once his eyes registered the movement Sora braced himself by widening the distance between his feet, and placed his right foot, just slightly behind his left. He saw his opponent extend his left arm as if to go for a clothsline. He could have ducked or dodged but figured that it would be more fun to attempt a throw. Sora exhaled quickly. He allowed the attack to make contact, going with the flow of his opponent's motion. Sora's arms snapped up and grabbed Ranshi's as tightly as he could manage. He twisted his torso and pulled Ranshi's arm downwards, pushing his left shoulder up into his opponent's armpit.

The momentum from Ranshi's attack made the process of throw easier as all Sora had to do now that he had arm control was pull. Which he did. When he felt his sparing partners body lift up he let go of his arm, allowing the body to fly forward about 4 meters. It had been a pretty basic throw and wasn't strong enough to ground a trained fighter. Really Ranshi should have been able to recover mid-air and land unharmed. "I forgot you were a Uchiha. This should be interesting." He said to Ranshi.
Sora then assumed a defensive stance and lowered his center of gravity to prepare for the next assault.

'Hehe.' The Uchiha thought as he had saw the boy's attempt to make adjustments for the attack, the boy couldn't have understood the power of the eyes the Uchiha had. Even though there was only one Tomoe in his eyes he could still track basic movements with ease. So with grace Ranshi also altered his attacking plan once crossing the one meter thresh hold, he would replace that clothesline with a spinning sweeping kicking at the boy's legs attempting to trip him up.

"tch."

The boy would make a noise if his attack had landed, the battle wouldn't be too long if sora kept this up. As the Uchiha would follow threw with his sweeping kick, he would rise standing to his full height before attempting to leg drop Sora.

Sharingan Ichi

[Ought]

Ranshi's quick adjustment mid movement caught Sora unprepared.

The legsweep connected, causing to fall face forward. Though he'd been surprised by the sudden change Sora wasn't distressed. He caught himself then flowed into a handspring. He twisted in midair so that upon landing he would be facing Ranshi.

If the previous clash was a suggestion of what was ahead, things might get difficult for him. Sora reckoned that the sharingan was going to be a problem. How much of an advantage it gave would have to be determined if he wanted to know just how big of a problem it was.

Sora was about 5 meters away. He charged Ranshi, not going full speed but fast enough to close the distance in about a second. Sora kept his attacks simple, sending a succession of punches towards his opponents head and torso.

As the sweeping kick connected ranshi would notice the boy's swift movements as he stood to his full form, it wasn't something expected of Sora he had good balance. As he would demonstrate it with his impressive hand spring, too bad it was a silly thing to go flipping during a battle as Ranshi wouldn't waste any closing the distance between the them, as Sora feet hit the ground Ranshi would be in his face. A smile would cross the Uchiha face as he would be his own combo of attacks. It would consist of a left jab to the face, followed by a right aimed directly at his nose. Finally Ranshi if his combo had been completed the boy would deliver a jumping kick directly into Sora's chest.

The sound of colliding body's would echo the small training field if the hit would have landed, it would probably knock the air right out of him.

Sharingan Ichi

[Ought]

Having adjusted while coming down Sora was able to see that Ranshi was moving to intercept his landing. Weighing his options Sora decided that trying to counter while still slightly airborne, for instance lashing out with a kick before he touched the ground, would have left him in a bad position in terms of maneuver ability.

Instead he chose to land and let Ranshi get way up in his personal space. He would greet his old acquaintance with a nice solid head butt. Sharingan or not, from point blank it'd take inhuman reaction times to dodge. The attack wouldn't be as powerful as it could be as he would not have had time to cock back, instead simply shooting his head forward into his opponents), but it would be enough to knock is focus off for a second. The head butt would leave a small bruise on his forehead and undoubtably do the same to his foe.

Sora would take the slight opening given to him to deliver a nice uppercut into Ranshi's jaw with his left fist. The force he put behind the punch would lift Ranshi a few inches off the ground. He would then follow up with a strong right jab in to his fellow Leaf nin's gut, sending him a meter or so away.

I used these actions assuming that when you said you'd be in my face, you meant around five inches or closer. If you meant otherwise, let me know.

'Adjustments Adjustments.' Once again you underestimate the Uchiha, Because Ranshi would be watching your actions the whole time. He wouldn't close his eyes or anything silly like that as you made movements in the air, so as you he adjusted as well properly gauging your every move. As you landed your simple moves were easy to read using the Sharingan, before sora was even able to jump to headbutt Ranshi in the forward giving thing height differences the Uchiha would have had time to deliver a crushing blow to your sternum.

'Come on.'

The boy thought to himself as he would attempt to land one more powerful punch to Sora's nose. If everything went through as planned the Uchiha would drop his guards, calling out to Sora.

"You've gotten better, that's why I've come here to talk to you about something."

Sharingan [Ichi]

Type: Supplementary / Doujutsu / Uchiha Kekkei Genkai
Range: Eyesight
Chakra: Mid to cast, low to sustain.
Special: Pierces Genjutsu 'C' rank and under. All Taijutsu 'C' ranked and lower become easily read, and thus, predictable. Finally, the 1st Tomoe can keep up, comprehend and predict motion up to 4 meters per second. Keep in mind that regardless of foresight and prediction, in order to avoid incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed, agility and RP ability will ultimately control whether they can move to avoid it.
Description: The very first form of the Sharingan, once its true powers are unlocked. With only one tomoe, the eye itself is still very immature and lacking in any of its real powers, but it can nonetheless excell much more than any normal human eye can in battle. At this stage, the Uchiha begins to see the truth behind illusions, as well as gain a brief understanding of whatever movements are coming at them.

[Ought]

The tell tale feeling of a fist plunging into his abdomen. First the tightness, then the pain, then the air rushing out his lungs. This was followed shortly by a fist to the face. The last punch was strong enough to make Sora slide back a meter. Sora was now bent over holding his face. "Ah, shit... That was a good one." he said, trying to catch his breath.

Ranshi mentioned wanting to talk to him about something. Sora straighten up and looked at his hand. There wasn't any blood. His nose was kind of roughed up but that aside, he'd be fine. Sora looked up at Ranshi. "Thanks. What about?" he said, a little disappointed he couldn't land a hit in during that skirmish.
