The roof tops weren't empty though there were two large machines on the top of them. But Bit payed them little to know mind because he was to busy inhaling the aroma's in the air. Until Naomi brought him back to reality. “How old did you think I was?” She said with a light voice while resting her hand on her hip. A dull hum came from the two identical machines atop the roof. A vibration. If she concentrated she could feel it at the soles of her feet, the energy that supplied a village block. For a moment she reflected, letting chakra focus around her feet and maintain a steady fluctuation between different points. With one step, and then another, she turned towards Bit and offered a playful smirk. “Think you can keep up?” She asked. Although her voice was playful, there was something serious to say about the weight she placed upon each step as she crept closer and closer to the edge. When she was only a few meters away from it, she took one, two, three steps back and then pushed hard off of her back leg. In that next instant, she flickered out of a visible existence. A pure demonstration of speed.

She appeared on the opposite side of the next rooftop, landing gracefully out of a solid jumping arc. Rolling out of it, she was already upon the crux of her next sprint when she looked back to gauge Bit's progress. He, like she, was a shinobi, so she expected he would not have much of a problem keeping up. However, he did not know the village as well, and also lacked the luxury of knowing where their final destination resided. As soon as she was sure he had made some progress on her trail, she took off into a sprint again. This time, lowering herself at the next crevasse, and hopping from a fire escape, to the cross-sectioned wall and then up it and onto the following roof.

Before she continued on, she raised a hand and formed it into a fist upon the opposite. There was a soft muttering of, “Byakugan,” as the veins on the sides of her eyes surged and the area around her suddenly became clear to the nearest fifty meters, in all directions, except one small degree above her left shoulder. The pupils in her eyes became defined and in back, though gaining she spied Bit. He'd have no problems keeping up, as she had guessed. However, that was not what she sought with her nearly all-seeing eyes. Further down the block, across roughly, two more rooftops and down the side of a wall, was a ramen stand, currently void of all except the chef and its stools. That's where they were headed; and with another step, she dashed off again.

Byakugan (All Seeing White Eye)
Special: When first unlocked, the Hyuuga may see up to 50 meters 359 degrees all around them.
Description: As its name implies, the Byakugan is just that, a featureless white eye that can occasioanlly posses hints of blue-gray and lavender, respectively. When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge, representing the sudden chakra activation that makes the doujutsu possible. All members of the clan possess and can use the kekkei genkai from birth, as opposed to needing to awaken it. Byakugan gives the user a near 360? field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra. With this vision, the Hyuuga can see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. The distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from person to person, and can be improved. Finally, one of the greatest uses of the Byakugan is the ability to see chakra, chakra flow as well as the chakra circulation system inside the body with great detail. It is from this particular ability that they are able to employ their ultimate attack style - the Gentle Fist.

With a playful smirk and a small laugh she asked “Think you can keep up?” The Uchiha's smile got a slightly wider cause he knew that they were gong to have fun with this. He nooded his head just a little as she started took a couple steps back. "Guess she needs a running start." He thought in his head till she instantaneously ended up on the opposite roof top across from him. "Phew she pretty fast but its not anything I can't match". With a little concentration of Chakra Bit took off landing leaving nothing but a small smoke cloud where he once stood. "Yea I got some jets to Naomi" He said in a playful tone as she took of running again. Keeping up was nothing but a thing to the Uchiha as seamlessly copied her every move and turn. "If I only I knew where I was going I could have been there by there now." Bit thought as he jumped from building to letting only a little bit of distance get between the two of them. Just to close the space a little more the Uchiha would activate his sharingan just for a brief second so he could predict where she was jumping to and flickered there as well. Naomi came in shortly after Bit, taking the time to first allow the strain from the Byakugan to wear off. As the veins rescinded, she too gave the chef a welcoming nod and parting the cloth curtain that separated the stand from the outside area. Although, upon her face was a much more neutral, serious frown. In that moment he caught up with me... She had saw it, only for a moment. A great amount of chakra had swirled and formed around the tenketsu in his eyes. That was the Sharingan... She looked over to him almost amazed, perhaps if she had seen it before, it would not have come as quite a shock. Only those with the strongest blood in the Uchiha family were said to have it, a tomoe swirl within the eye that predicts movements in the flow of battle. As she took the stool next to him, she caught onto what he was saying.

“Get whatever you like,” he said and he flashed that same, goofy smile as before. Sometimes, she just couldn't understand him. Perhaps that was why she offered to show him around; he was just different, because he was not from around here. She remembered reading about the Uchiha clan, since they were said to be descendants of the Hyuuga family, their doujutsu was somewhat similar in nature, but different in many regards. Unlike the Hyuuga, whom are born with the ability to activate the Byakugan, the tomoes that make up the Sharingan are said to be unlocked during traumatic experiences. To have eyes like that, came at a cost she supposed. When she looked at him now, even as the Sharingan had already faded, she couldn't help but see red, and the swirls that made up his eyes from earlier. Quickly she looked away, and turn her gaze upon the chef and his assistant.

“Shoyu,” she said, indicating what type of ramen she would like. This type happened to be a brown colored broth with vegetables and chicken; topped off with soy sauce and curly noodles instead of regular ones. Her favorite. However, she would hardly admit that she had spent enough time at a ramen stand to have a favorite. After ordering, she looked back over to the Uchiha next to her. He did not even look tired, but she found herself panting from the effort she had put in running from him. How strong is he... she wondered, unwilling to ask. “Have you gone on many missions?” She asked instead. Her eyes remained serene, but something about her tone of voice hinted to marginal desperation.

But he really payed little to no attention cause he was lost in beauty as she made her way into the shop. The Uchiha couldn't help but notice she looked a little tired from that little run we had earlier. "That can't be good that must mean she hasn't been training or has gotten lazy or something." The Uchiha thought to him self. But those thoughts quickly left his head when she turned and look into his eyes. "Ill have the same thing she's having" Bit said as he never stopped making eye contact with her. “Have you gone on many missions?” Naomi asked with an sweet look in her eyes. The Uchiha for some reason could not help but show some compassion towards this girl which was usual for him. "Well yea I've done a lot actual." Bit said as he turned to the chef to the chef to get his food. "I think i have done over 10 mission's if I counted right he said as he picked up his eating utensils. "My favorite was my travel from the Iwagakure to Kohona." He said with an small laugh behind hind it. "I got to see a lot during that trip and met a lot of different people on my way here." The Uchiha said before taken a bite of his food. "Damn this is good." Bit thought to my him self as he slopped down his first bowl of food. "Can I have another please." As he spoke, Naomi listened and was glad when a bowl (with chopsticks) was placed in front of her. She went at it in a graceful manner, first breaking the sticks in half and then scooting the bowl towards her. Lastly, she blew on the ramen, combating the heat from a good-smelling steam that rose out of the bowl and into her nostrils. As the steam dispersed, she took her first bite and the warmth and taste of it swept aware any fatigue she had gained from the brief, yet strenuous run here. Perhaps she had been a little too determined to beat him here; however she could tell just by looking at him that he had a lot more experience as a shinobi. He had come all the way here from Iwagakure after all and had probably seen real combat; not training as she so often had to supervise now. I haven't even been assigned a single one... She wanted to tell him, but she was almost ashamed of the fact. Instead, for several moments after the question was asked, she played with her food, swirling the ramen around with a chopstick and then taking a bite shortly after. The truth was she had been so busy dealing with family duties she hadn't the time to go to the assignment office to request a mission. He's looking at me so intently, not breaking eye-contact... Meeting his gaze, she just stared at moment, allowing the hazy white to be swept away by a more pigmented pinked blended with white. Her cheeks felt hot again, and a red streak crossed underneath her eyes.

“I've never left the village,” she answered, purposely avoiding the true question behind his. He wanted to know what her mission were like; but when she did not have any to tell, or could only tell about accompanying brats to the academy and training with children half her age, (allowing them to win against her to gain approval) it was easier just to dance right around the question itself and eat some more ramen. She did that quietly, and the chef and his assistant seemed to watch in a stupor, while overlooking another pot of fresh-smelling, fried goodness. “I'm usually at the compound training, or attending to my duties.” Her last word bore a bit of resentment that she really hoped he did not pick up on, despite the fact she had noticed it right when she spoke. Glossing over the fact, she tried to smile instead.

Bit could not hope but to smile at this action as they ate there food. He could tell that she was getting more and more at ease around him. As she turned back to her bowl to eat some more of Ramen , Bit also turned to his fresh bowl of ramen and started to eat it. This time the Uchiha took his time eating cause he was not in a big rush to get food in his stomach this time. “I'm usually at the compound training, or attending to my duties.” Naimoi said in an apathetic tone of voice. Bit's face cringed a little bit after he heard her say this. "I guess its that whole elder thing that she was talking about earlier." The Uchiha thought to him self as he took another bite of his food. "This is some pretty good Ramen you picked a great spot Naomi." He said appreciative tone of voice. As he took his last bite. Then he turned his head slightly and looked at while she ate her Ramen. "Well maybe me and you can get out here and doing mission together I'd be glad to have you out there with me." He said with an light voice gentle as he pushed his bowl back to the chef and plucked out some ryo on to the counter. As he spoke, Naomi finished her ramen, slurping quietly as he smoothly changed the subject and complimented her choice in food. For this, she was glad; glad enough that when she finished, she almost placed ryo on the counter for her own bowl. However, his hand had fallen in place upon her shoulder, and his own ryo went along with the bowl her pushed forward. Surprised by his touch, she watched him for a moment, until his hand was raised again. With her own, she wiped a stray noodle that had stuck to one cheek, and then hurriedly looked away. The ramen had warmed her up quite a bit, and now she found that it was getting a bit too hot for comfort. Sweat dotted her forehead, as it had done before, just after her run; and she turned looking as another entered the stand and sat upon a stool on the far left end.

It's not that simple... She wanted him to understand that, but could not find the words to explain. Brushing some bangs aside, she reflected upon the symbol that came into view. A black seal, with two straight lines and a swastika at the center of her forehead. When she turned towards him, she flipped her bangs, revealing the cursed seal momentarily, but then hiding it just the same with the locks of her hair. He had confidence in someone he had only just met. To place trust in someone so suddenly was unorthodox, but secretly she longed for that ability. In these times, she hoped and wanted to see the good in people, but most of the time what she ended up with was disappointment. Although, she felt at ease with him, she could not shy away from that lingering fear that in the end, only the previous pain would remain.

“Look, I understand what you are trying to do,” she began, taking a tone of voice more befit for sympathy rather than empathetic ideals. “But your goofy smile can't change the way things are. If I have time, I'll be glad to work with you, but you can't expect me to ignore my birthright. I have obligations that you couldn't possibly understand.” It hurt her to be so blunt, but if she hadn't spoken up now, he would have been in for a rude surprise later down the road. After speaking, she stood, turning her back towards him and thereafter exiting the stand. Outside, she waited facing the streets as people crossed, and went on about after picking up their midday lunch. Many, were probably on their way back to work. She held a hand loosely in place on her hip and the other she used to rub between her eyes.

He laughed a little because he thought It was quite funny that it happen. "But like I said earlier I would like for you to accompany me on some missions. I don't its against the law in Kohona to do a mission with someone outside of your clan." If it was any other time, Naomi might have been startled by the sudden touch upon her shoulder. However, she almost knew for certain that he would follow her. Although she supposed he could have just left off down the street and left her, he just didn't seem the type to leave something unfinished. He spoke soon after and she listened, still watching people move about the streets. There was an urge to run, but instead she resisted and listened to what he had to say. What she had expected, was anger, or perhaps even frustration, but he laughed, and told a joke, lightening the mood better than she could have with an apology. This, she smiled at, containing her own laughter by a thread.

He's right... she thought. At least, given what he knows... She could not blame him for ignorance; not when it came to her kin, after all how was he supposed to know what the seal upon her forehead was? How was he supposed to know the true meaning behind it; how was he supposed to react to something he hadn't experienced himself. To get him involved was foolish, and it was almost as if she wanted to push him way. Now though, she was glad he stuck true to himself. He offered once more, suggesting that they should pair up and better the village by doing a couple of missions; and she supposed that wasn't grounds for what she had said, but in her own way she only wanted someone, other than her family to understand.

Turning towards him, she relieved his hand from her shoulder and looked up and into his eyes. “I'm sorry,” she said. “It's not your place to understand and I shouldn't have snapped at you like that. I would be glad to help you with your assignments.” Shortly after she said this, she realized how close they were to each other, and out of embarrassment, she took a step away, nearly backing off the edge of the curb and into the street. This time, there was no resisting, a full blush swept her face, and her eyes promptly shot to the ground. Embarrassment was better than anger, she guessed, but she had not intended to make a fool out of herself quite so much. Blushing like a little girl; she had only just met him...

He could kind of fill the tension that was in the air from the the statement's she made earlier disappearing. The Uchiha couldn't help but feel like Naomi and his self were getting closer by the second. Which gave his mind time to wander again "I wonder if this girl will be my closest friend? Or will it be more? Or will it just end abruptly like most things in my life." The Uchiha thought to him self as he held the Naomi close to him. “I'm sorry,” Namoi said causing Bit to snap out of that day dreamy like state he had went into. “It's not your place to understand and I shouldn't have snapped at you like that. I would be glad to help you with your assignments.” She said as she had turned to face him and as there eye's met Bit noticed that they were in really close. Of course he didn't mind he actual kind of like it and enjoyed to look into her eyes. But just as every time for she seemed a little shy as she took a step back almost causing her self to fall off curve. "I guess when she gets nervous she get a little silly" Bit thought to him self as he smiled and laughed a little. "Its all good Naomi." He said with a smile on his face looking directly at the top of her head. "Well we can continue this simple walk around or we can go and get us a mission or something." He's an optimist... Naomi caught her balance by extending and arm and applying strict pressure to the foot parallel to it. As she regained her composure, she giggled softly. Perhaps Bit was right, maybe she did get a bit silly... when she was nervous. However, the same could be said for a lot of people. Being nervous wasn't exactly the best feeling in the world after all, and most times, it strikes hard and vanishes before you even realize it. This happened to be one of those times. With it gone, nothing felt better; and she too, turned out and this time stepped into the street with her own will. If she had fallen, she probably would have tasted the dirt and stone mix first hand. A few people stepped on by her, walking onwards, and off into the distance. The gates of Konohagakure beckoned just underneath the arc of the sun.

It's hard to believe I've never been outside these walls... Looking at the gate, even from this distance, her eyes could clearly see the pathway that led away from the village. Bit-kun had probably walked that same trail to get here from Iwagakure. She wondered how far he had come, really. Although she could see much with the Byakugan, having never left the sanctuary of the village hidden within leaves, the actual breadth of distance between two countries was beyond her comprehension. She had a feeling it was far off, days away in fact, but that notion only excited her. I'll get stronger first... She reflected; the world was a dangerous place and rushing off into it with a light-heart, even one with pure intentions, spelled trouble and led to an easy corruption in a vie for power.

“Well, I should report back to the compound. Otherwise, Hiroshi-sama might worry about his daughter.” She replied, still facing away from him. For a second she paused, but then she looked back upon him with a bright smile. “You can come along though; we'll go see about a mission after that if you still want to.” If there was any fear, or resentment still lingering in her mood, Bit would have a tough time spotting it. Once more, she seemed at ease with her surroundings, at least for now. Within the walls of the compound, she became a different person; and when she was alone there, she became someone unwilling to let others fall to a tyranny that had lasted long past the span of her lifetime and her parents lifetime.

After she regained her balance she began to stand there in the middle of the street as people passed brushing up against her. The Uchiha's mind had time to wander off into other places. "Maybe my parents could be alive? Maybe it was a lie that they had been killed. What if my dad lived on but wanted to separate him self from the village. Or maybe he died as an village hero." Bit thought to him self as his eyes never left Naomi visage. “Well, I should report back to the compound. Otherwise, Hiroshi-sama might worry about his daughter.” Naomi said in an cheerful tone like the ones she moved much earlier in the day. "Who is that? Maybe her father?" The Uchiha thought to himself with an normal look on his face. “You can come along though; we'll go see about a mission after that if you still want to.” She spoke once more as she cracked an bright smile invite the Uchiha to come back with her to the Hyuuga Compound. "Was this a good idea?" Bit thought to him self. "Ehh Sure why not?" The Uchiha said as he started rub his hair back and forth increasing the scruffy look that he already held. "Which way is it Ill be glad to accompany you to the Compound I hear your clan has a very nice one here." He said as he stepped of the curb into the street a little closer the Hyuuga girl. To think, they had been heading away from the Compound this entire time. It was back towards the east, and then north of the academy and through a treeline path. In the canopy of trees, there were several deviations, and splits along the trail. These were to ensure that those whom were not welcome with the Hyuuga would never find the home, unless guided by someone whom already knew the way. In this case, Naomi would lead him. First however, they needed to go back the way they came, head along the same side-streets and back alleys, and continue on past the academy. From there, the journey would be about half done. All this, she pondered while looking up at the shifting sun. Their pace couldn't be slow this time, or she surely would be late with her report.

We could take a path along rooftops... It would be quicker that way anyways. With that in mind, she turned towards him and then stepped away from the street and back up onto the side pathway. From her position, she could see the way they had cut through the crowd earlier. Above the stand, which was in plain view, a curved wall led back up to the flat tops of buildings they had crossed previously. Although there was no fire escape, there was just enough room to run up one wall and use the other as a springboard to reach the adjacent rooftop. Since the space was limited, only one of them could go up at at time, while the other would watch on. Now, Naomi had no problems leading the way. After all, if she did not, it would take much longer to get back to the Compound.

After she was past them, she took to a sprint, all the while focusing spiraling chakra around the soles of her feet. Near the wall, she pushed hard off the ground and jumped into a clean arc. In mid-air she spun out and kicked off of it. This, sent her towards the opposing wall of the stand, which she in turn spun out towards and kicked off again. The process repeated several times, with her leaping across and between walls, until she reached the crux and pushed off hard of the opposing wall and rolled out and onto the rooftop.
