Having spent many days on his raft he finally had landed within the country. But, now began his attempt in finding Kirigakure. For he had no idea where the village itself was. Despite this he held a heart of hope to find Kirigakure's location. Rolling his shoulders as he stepped off of the raft he looked about, his hood drawn over his brow just slightly to shadow his face from vision. Step by step brought him from a beach to a tree line that spread as far as the naked eye could see, but upon entering the woods he'd be shrouded in darkness, leaving the few he had traveled with to stare blankly at his disappearance. Left hand and forearm resting within his open jacket as he walked about, searching. He was at least certain that Kirigakure was on this island, now all he had to do was search for her exact location. Perhaps he'd be granted a gift and he'd run into a villager, a shinobi, a fellow traveler, or perhaps a merchant to who he could extract Kirigakure's location from, and make things all the much easier on himself. He just hoped it would not take too long, he didn't want to get bored and choose to leave the island.

You’re new to this land, is that right?

You’d soon take your first steps upon the land that was known as Mizu no kuni- But would these steps be your last? After all, you were in a foreign land with no-one to watch out for you except for yourself. What would happen if you would get in some kind of sticky situation where you’d surely need the aid of one of your companions back from Kusa, or elsewhere? Sadly for you you had noone to help you. You were on your own in this country, and as the mist would slowly swirl around you and the raft itself, you would soon begin to feel more alone than ever- The water which you had past rode on seemed to halt to a still as the land regained the peace it had once had before you had set foot on its earth, poisoning the place in the meantime. A land that seemed untouched- It wasn’t like that, at all, and you would soon find out. Just the part of Mizu no Kuni you were in at the moment seemed to be devoid of any life.

And just by chance it seemed that the longer you stayed in this land, the less you could actually find yourself being able to see due to the mist that hung around the place- Of course you had good enough vision, but it would be becoming hazy, allowing anything to jump out upon you. Keep your wits about you, as you are a foreigner, and nothing more. But what was your aims in this land? To find the precious gates that linked the hidden village of Mist to the harsh, outside land? Surely this was it, correct? Yes- Whatever reasons you wanted to find the gates, the environment would seem to work against you, as it was a natural part of Mizu no kuni to have its forests, and the island as a whole, be covered in the thick mist that it was known for- With visibility being quite low, should you have any abilities that allowed you better vision, even if it be by accessories, it’s best you use it now.

But- What was this?

The yawn of a young child- Surely a young girl, and assuming by the voice, she must have been around seven years old- Eight at the most. Speaking to herself amongst the mist, it would be hard for you to pinpoint exactly where she was coming from but surely you’d be able to figure out if you either could track where the sound had come from, or if you had the ability to see through the mist somehow. But for now, the voice would disappear once more, the only sounds that were being made were footsteps, slowly growing quieter and quieter as they moved elsewhere around the island, away from you- But would you choose to follow her or not? Assuming it was a her of course, who could know? What if she wasn’t even a little girl, but someone simply trying to lure you in?

But- Of course, you were new to this land.

And while it obscured his vision, he could still slightly see, but not too well. Because of this he'd make haste to put on his Tracker in hopes that it'd help with his sight. Continuing on he made sure to stay on his toes , his ears being more so his primary sense of direction. His fingers tapping along his palms, or rather one, while his other was occupied with the wearing of his Demon Claw accessory/secondary weapon. So with that on it's claws would tap along his gloved/armoured palm. Rolling his powerful shoulders once more he'd pause in his steps slightly upon hearing what sounded like a little girl. Hm, out in this thick mist? Possibly a trap. But, when had Fuu ever been scared of a trap? If anything he'd willingly kick a trip wire just to see what was behind it's use. As such he'd find himself walking towards the creator of the voice he had heard, while it attempted to distant itself he'd close in on it, speeding up his step a bit. "Let's see what this is."

[/color] Grinning slightly he couldn't help, but have his interest spike up off of the charts. Apparently the Water Country would be as exciting as his second visiting to the Fire Country. He even liked the idea of visiting Water Country, perhaps it was cause of his liquid existence. Yeah, that sounded about right.

..You were too late!
By now it seemed that whatever young girl, or whatever person who had projected such a voice was gone from the place it has past been. It would seem as if this figure wouldn’t be caught too easily- Or was the reason why it was moving so fast was because they had already picked up on your own signal? Of course it was hard to tell since you couldn’t exactly get in to their mind, but surely there was more to this than it would seem. For the next few minutes you once more would seem to be alone in the mists- You had been draw in to the forests by the voice, and now that you had reached where it was, the mist grew thick around the branches of the trees that surrounded it, and although you could see the sea from here, it was only slightly that you could- The rest of the air was shrouded keenly by the mist itself- Just what were you getting yourself in to?

And now you would be alone once more. Just what was happening? Any shinobi would question the fact that the figure that seemed to draw you in- Were you looking for the person? Or had the mysterious voice simply compelled you to move further in to the island? Once you got nearer the middle of it- You were miles off now, don’t you worry!- you’d have no way of knowing your way around the place unless you naturally knew your way around places, or if you could tell where you were by the shadow of the sun on somewhere or the environment, or something gay like that. You were a shinobi! You fought yourself out of situations, not use your brain to figure your way out of course! But would you need to use your fists at this point? Right now with your tracker activated it would allow you to see only with binocular vision- It would allow you to see further, but it wouldn’t allow you to see through the thick mist, unfortunately.

It didn’t really matter as to who heard you because right now, it was almost as if no-one cared, really. You were alone again in the forest and there was little that you could do about that. The environment treated you like any other, swallowing you up in the misty caverns of the earth- Who knew if you were walking over bog, cowpat or whatever? It would obviously be hard to tell so you might as well be walking over water right now and you probably wouldn’t know should your shinobi instincts kick in to gear to allow yourself to skate over the water. But- You were definitely on the earth, that was for sure, and soon came the voice of the young girl you had past heard, seemingly in trouble! Whatever was the matter? Would you go and help her!?

From the thump that echoed through the forest it seemed that she had fallen- By the sound of it, it wasn’t a very loud one, but her cries were loud enough for you to pinpoint her location to. It was obvious that you were dealing with a small person here or a person who didn’t weigh that much due to the sound that was made with them hitting the earth- or it could have just been another trap. ”Help! ANYONE! WWWAAH~~” However- Continuing to cry out the girl would surely seem to be in quite some distress as her voice didn’t move, signifying that she currently wasn’t moving from where she currently was at the moment- What were you going to do about this? You could potentially be walking yourself in to a trap..!

He knew the Tracker wouldn't see through the mist, but he had hoped that it'd possibly allow him to see through it a bit more clearer. But, that wasn't the case, as it had failed, horribly. Despite this he'd keep it on. Along with this he'd find himself coming up short on finding the owner to the voice he had ran after. Growling once more he'd even stomp once where he stood, but how childish was that of him? Popping his neck to the side he'd choose to feed the unnoticeable amount of chakra to his feet as a means to avoid falling into a bog, swamp, or what ever else this island could afford as a pit of doom. It'd also make it easier on him so he wouldn't have to swim through disgusting nature traps like bogs and swamps. Shortly after this he found his ears twitching at the sound of a light thump and then a repeat of the voice he had earlier, though this time it wasn't slowly fading, it stayed at a constant pitch. And with this Fuu made haste towards the voice, this time forcing himself not to let the owner of the voice escape him this time around.

Your steps would soon take you across the field of mist towards well- More mist. There wasn’t all that you could do to distinguish one area from the other because really, now that you were caught inside this maze, everything looked the same- Except for the whining noise which was coming ever so steadily louder to your ears as you followed the sound. It wouldn’t be long until you’d either find the girl, sad, unhappy and all trapped somehow leading you to save her, or if it was some kind of terrible trap which could potentially kill you. Either way, you being the bigger man, you go ahead and keep moving towards wherever you had heard the voice- Moments after arriving where you assumed you had heard it, perhaps you’d be surprised to see that it was a young girl- And not some trap.

..Or was it still a trap?

At seeing someone before her very eyes the girl’s baby blue coloured lenses would light up with life, before then becoming teary again at remembering that she was trapped. But how? If you turned your eyes downwards and looked at the floor for a matter of moments you’d soon notice that her foot seemed to be trapped in what would appear to be a root. Sure enough you’d need to bend down in order to see her and the root clearly due to the fact that it seemed as if the mist manifested over the girl and claimed her as its own, but now that you were here, you couldn’t just leave a defenceless little girl out here in the misty forest all on her own, especially after tripping? She was only young- She deserved better than to be left alone out here!

However, the question would surely come up as to why she was here. ”Sir- Sir! Pwease help me! M-My leg is shtuck!” Was there anything cuter? Her cries would ring across the forest once more as she’d shift her leg- Obviously she had broken it or perhaps only sprained her ankle but whatever it was, it seemed to hurt. That or she was making a mountain out of a molehill, but being only around seven years of age, it seemed likely that that was the exact problem. But would you help her? Upon closer inspection you’d notice that the girl’s eyes were blue, and her hair- It was the lightest of blondes, still retaining that golden colour, but boy was it light coloured. Along with this she had pale skin, and rosy cheeks, as she looked up at you, hoping you’d help her.

”I twipped! I want my momma!” she’d cry as the waterworks would open for business, tears beginning to stream down her face as she writhed in what would appear to be pain from her leg, her dainty little hands curling around what part of her leg that wasn’t swallowed up by the large root. It seemed that not only had she tripped over a root, but it had taken her leg and dragged her a bit down- She had no doubt fallen in a hole, but couldn’t you think of how she was feeling? Alone and scared! Poor, poor baby!

Yet, he was a bit shocked to see such a young girl out in the wilderness, left alone apparently. Yes, this all looked and seemed like your very basic trap/set-up. Staying on his guard he watched the girl while his ears focused on the surrounding noises. Seeing that she had apparently gotten her self stuck he went over his choices. He could help her right away and then ask her if she knew where the Hidden Mist Village was or he could prod her for information first, saying he'd free her after he got the information he needed. Yeah, he'd go with the latter. "Hm, looks like your out here all alone and stuck...hm, I got a deal for ya. Tell me where the Hidden Mist Village is or put me on the path to somewhere on someone I can contact to find the Hidden Mist Village and I'll help ya out, you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours ya know?"

It was better than letting the girl out and her running away to not be seen again, which would leave him without any clues as to where the village was. Lowering himself to her level a bit he tilted his head to the side, would she help him? Or choose to test his patience?

Oh good lord, you expected to speak to a child like how you were speaking now? As you spoke to her, she’d but look at you, her crying temporarily stopped as she’d try to understand what you were saying- Heavens sake, sure she was seven, but a lot of the words you were using she didn’t understand! Was this bad parenting, or did she just not understand? Whatever it was, she’d simply give you an odd look, as if she didn’t really get what you were trying to say, her head tilted somewhat to the side alike yousr as you’d dip to her level. Once you’d finish speaking, her bottom lip would then being to quiver once more as tears would begin to flow from her eyes once more- W-What were you trying to say?

She’d ask you in such a tone it could make baby jesus himself cry- She seemed to sad! She didn’t understand whatever you were saying. At her age, what she thought was her home, the village she thought her home was, she called home, nothing more, nothing less. She hadn’t been trained to become a shinobi yet (Or her family weren’t even shinobi) so how was she supposed to understand the name of the village? Or she might have not caught what you had said- Whichever reason it was, you needed to make decision- Try to explain to her and comfort the poor young girl, or simply leave. Whichever reason you took surely effected this quest of yours..!

Would you be a gentleman, or a cold hearted meanie in this situation?

Continuing to cry, the girl, just over the age of five, would keep trying to make sense of whatever you had just told her, placing words together and attempting to see what you were trying to say. ”I-I don’t wanna scratch any backs! Eeew! Aaaa!” she’d say, bawling her eyes out as she struggled to free herself from the branch that was currently curled around her, her arms frantically trying to tie herself free- How could you be so heartless to just.. sit there and watch as she struggled? She was only young, she didn’t get what you were trying to say- Too innocent to understand that you were planning to find what could potentially be her home village. ”I d-d-don’t understand..!” she’d then finally cry out, as her glazed over eyes would look at your own, requesting your help to free her- But would you?

And with that he'd turn on his heel, still covering his ears before opening his eyes and taking off in the opposite direction of the girl. Now lowering his hands from his ears he continued running about, still feeding the unnoticeable amount of chakra to his feet to avoid sinking into a bog or something he'd attempt to find information on the Hidden Mist Village's location elsewhere. Why couldn't he have had run into an older individual? One that was of at least some use rather than some crying infant. Gritting his teeth slightly he began refocusing on the area around him, his ears doing the work to make sure that he wouldn't get jumped/surprised attacked. Oh how troublesome this country had already began to be. But, beneath turmoil some times lay excitement, and that's what he wanted. But, was almost one hundred percent positive the excitement was in the Hidden Mist Village and not it's surrounding country/islands.

WTF how could you be so uncaring? Your harsh words were loud and understandable- Even she at that tender age knew what that cuss was- and upon hearing it, she’d then SCREAM at a voice so corrupted by chakra, making the loudest noise you could possibly imagine- You had not been facing her, so you surely didn’t see her little hands clasping together- Just what was this? With this technique having been used- Or was it a technique? She might as well just have screamed as loud as any other annoying little girl of her age could have. But with her blonde hair bouncing on her back she’d then keep trying to break loose from the roots. Bitch, you are not going away.

Continuing to cry, her pleas for help would only seem to get louder and louder with each passing minute that you ignored her. Would you go back and save her? Surely there would be some kind of reward at the end, right? Even if it wasn’t the village location it might as well be some kind of sum of ryo for returning someone’s baby daughter, right? Yes, that was a hell of a plan. But would you see through to it? Being the narrator and all, I hoped you would. But, as you’d keep running, you’d see that the forest would be devoid of any life, except for the small one you had failed to help.

So would you turn back? As you’d keep going further away, you’d notice that the mist would seem to encircle you once more, almost trapping you within the natural maze that it had created. You might as well be lost now, have it not be the scared cries of the girl lingering through your ears as she kept weeping about her trapped leg. The branches of the trees around you reaching high in to the sky, it was just little light that managed to pour down to the floor of the forest, and even then it wasn’t a lot due to the fact that it wasn’t the best of days as far as weather was concerned. Sure, perhaps you wouldn’t be tripping over vines or and bogs that might be lingering beneath the misty surface, but now the fact that you could get lost and never return- Were you willing to risk that? Or would you go back?

It had to be that fucking little cunt of a child. Hands over his ears, teeth girting against one another he'd turn on his heel and charge towards the girl's last known location. To be honest he had the urge to slit her pale little throat and let blood flood the area yet he also found himself fighting this urge, he wasn't a child killer. Then again he had killed the innocent before, but never a child. But, he always killed those who annoyed him, well usually. Quickly finding his way back to the girl he'd glare at her with the most evil expression he could come up with. Though by now he could feel himself being plagued by something, perhaps the girl's continuous scream, yeah that was probably it. As such he had to react quickly. Going with this he'd throw his leg forward, aiming to deliver three harsh kicks in the time it'd take to throw a single one at the young girl's jaw, maybe he wouldn't kill her, but he'd know her unconscious. And if that didn't work perhaps he'd put more thought into killing her, or just give in and help her out. Why couldn't things just work out for him for once.

Of course, due to both your luck and the fact that she probably wasn’t all that innocent as you imagined, by the time that you returned back to her, she had managed to free herself, and was very much able to dart around the place- Your attack, which she had assumed somewhat by the evil look you gave her upon returning, would be taken in slow pace as what she used to be in the past seemed to be but a shell- It was time to get down to fucking business and it didn’t matter if she was seven or not- You were trying to take away her life, and she was not having any of that. Nope, not at all. Looking over at you with eyes like daggers as her own gaze would mimic yours, before rapidly forming seals and swooping her arms cross towards you- In order to take out whatever attacks you were planning, the wind released from her mouth would surely catch your attack just in time, the sheer strength of it..

Thirty meters would be passed as you’d surely fly off from the power of the attack itself, although it wasn’t really an attack- More like self defense. One thing was clear though- If she was this young, and was able to use such powerful techniques- Then she wouldn’t be that easy to take down as surely she had tricks up her sleeves. Keeping her eyes plastered on you it’d be hard to leave her gaze, so whether or not you travel thirty meters away from the blast (She’d been watching!) she’d keep an eye on you and prepare a back up plan, but she was sure it would work since with your leg cocked in such a way whilst the technique was activated, you’d be.. vulnerable as so to say.

And although she had surely managed to divert the attack that you had been planning on her, she’d give you such eyes that witches and demons would go quiver in fear of this young girl. ”TAKE ME BACK HOME YOU FUCKING BASTARD!” she’d shout in words uncouth for such a young lady, but it didn’t seem as if she really gave any cares as towards what he had thought of her. With her blonde hair bobbing up and down as she’d catch her breath, she’d wait for you reaction, hoping that you’d take her back home dearly, even though you did seem like a bitch to her at the current time. At the moment her arms were raised defensively just in case you’d try to attempt something else that could put her life at risk- She was a powerful shinobi, so she did figure that she could take you down if it was needed, but then again, she wasn’t too fond on killing people- Sure enough she’d hide your body in a ditch for wolves and foxes to come and inspect, but the little girl wasn’t that twisted so that she’d rather just kill you right left and center.

A childish grin would seem to creep on the girls face after you seemed to finally give in and decide to take her home- Of course she sort of knew the way, but she knew that if she was making the journey alone, she might be at risk of getting attacked- She was nothing like other girls of her age, she was much, much more intelligent- Which perhaps gave off the idea that she was just someone using henge in order to get something or other, or she was just a genius child. All signs pointed more towards the latter except for the fact that she had said such rude words unfitting of a little girl earlier, but now that you had agreed to her terms and allowed to escort her home for her own safety, she’d then give you a cute little smile, and she’d curtsy to you.

Surely you were now left believing whether or not it had actually been her using those techniques or saying such nasty things to you- Or you’d just go along with it and decide to forget her after this happening. However, as she’d keep walking, she’d look behind her frequently to make sure you were still there. ”Not long till we get there, you look out for wild animals and muggers ok?” she’d ask, as if she was familiar with the things that hid in the mists of Mizu no Kuni- It was obvious she had been here before, but she simply wasn’t that good with making her way back.

Maybe she had been playing with friends and they had left her or something- Come to think about it, yes- Why was she playing around in such a dangerous area? It didn’t seem that there was any village nearby, although as she’d walk towards the direction she assumed her own village was in, she’d lead you, hoping that you could watch out for any bears or anything that might potentially be the death of her- Surely enough with the techniques she showed she was more than able to look after herself but then again in these mists, things turned, twisted and shaped in to inhuman things- It was.. scary at times to say the least, and who wouldn’t like a little bit of company?

”So, yuu wanna find Kiwigakure? Heard of that place before..” she’d murmur under her breath as she’d look around at the enviroment, taking care to jump over the dead bodies of the broken trees that were sometimes splayed across the earth, the mist slowly curling up around your very legs as you’d keep moving- It was probably like nothing you’d ever seen before, and with the slight lack of light, it only made it all look ever scarier- Surely you’d now know why such powerful shinobi came from Mizu no Kuni and Kirigakure- The landscape forced them to be secretive and careful- As you never know who or what might be hiding beneath the thick mists.
