With the sound of the explosion, I'd note a bubble of force pushing it's way through the mist, right where my opponent had been. Since I hadn't needed to reform the Ram seals to hunt down my target, I'd simply wave my hand once through the air, dispelling my chakra and, with it, the Hidden Mist technique. There was a grim look upon my face - not happy that I had managed to complete the mission, but full of angst at the thought that this had had to go down this way. Taking but a moment to glance down at the woman who had murdered in defense of her life, I found a brutal chill fill my soul and I knew what I would do.
However, I didn't want this man to see me performing the deed. Therefore, as my ally walked out of the building, I'd quickly unsheathe my chokuto from it's location and perform a single, swift strike, ignoring the beginnings of the woman's protest as I performed the deed. As the blade would sweep through the air, I'd feel the force of sharp metal meeting flesh and, with a little bit of pressure, I'd cleanly lop off the head of the woman. It enraged me that someone who should have been strong in the defense of her villagers had succumbed to weakness and left herself completely vulnerable.
Walking over to the now headless body, I would wipe my blade on the woman's apron, making sure that the Chokuto was stain free before sliding it back down into the weapon's sheath. The whole process had taken less than fifteen seconds, not enough time, hopefully, for my ally to have noticed my absence, and with quick steps I would remove myself from the premises of the now-dead woman and would begin to make my way back towards the land of Kirigakure no Sato.
Hopefully I would never be forced to deal with such weakness again.
