Hana's get rich quick scheme. [M]

Mission info: The ringleader and four of the group in the Western Zone escaped the foolishly destructive shinobi who was enlisted to find and kill him. Find this, 'Higuchi' and his men and kill them for inadvertently causing so much damage to the village.

Rough times had overcome Hana, and a struggle for money was her main motive of operating for the time being. Additionally, such missions would gain her valuable experience in the heat of battle, aswell as prepare her for the upcoming chunin exams. Hoping to gain some experience in fluently fighting against not one, but multiple adversaries at the same time, Hana had taken on the reigns of this mission.

It was ashame being a genin yet possessing such untold power. It was insulting having to do such simple tasks, such as slaying wayward animals, or punishing petty theives to avail, as criminals weren't smart in the first place for committing the crime, so how did anyone expect that other criminals would learn from the others? It seemed despite the shinobi's efforts, crime was still all around Kirigakure, as the Bloody Mist had a strong past for crime and bloodshed. Hell, the first Mizukage started a world war, and was a former leader of a powerful criminal gang. It was ironic that the shinobi were the bringers of justice, as they were often the most dirty and vile beings around.

Hana thought of these things as she read her mission details. The goal was simple, search and destroy. Her target? A band of petty thieves and their foolish ringleader. Typical. The crime patterns of these men were apparently so predictable that Kirigakure intelligence had a full detail on each of the 3 members and the leader, as well as directions towards their hideout, which Hana was heading to. It was not long until she was at the foot of the abandoned, spooky looking

It was not long until she was at the foot of the abandoned, spooky looking building, which looked even more spooky with the light of the full moon casting it's rays upon it. Such things didn't faulter young Hana, she simply scoffed in the face of danger. Hana noticed the plethora of wilderness surrounding the enclosure, and the fissures in the concrete foundations of the house, signifying weak points that Hana intended to exploit. She planned to destroy this building with the men still in it.

A stack of explosive tags were removed from her small holster that contained all of her ninja accoutrement. She carefully placed an explosive note on each of the 8 fissures all around the foundation, and the finally placed on the center of the door. Such a task would be simple in the dead of the night, especially for a shinobi used to working in covert situations. These amateurs hadn't even taken the intiative to stand gaurd, so Hana was almost allowed to waltz all around the warehouse without being detected.

Hana then made a small sprint for a large rock a sizeable distance away, 13 meters, and from there she would detonate all the tags at once, destroying the foundation in one full swoop. Hana hid behind the rock as debris flew, and once it all settled, she got up from her kneeled position and readied herself to fight the stragglers, if any.

The house crumbled in a spectacle of splintering wood and pulverized concrete, surely anyone caught within it would be either crushed to death or mortally injured. This claim would be testified as 2 of the 4 men drudged through the tattered ruins of the house, emerging from the pile in a bath of bloody, snot and tears. One man, who Hana would then recognize as Higuchi despite the mixture of dirt and blood plastering his, looked around at his surroundings, and in doing so, caused Hana to swiftly duck back behind the rock.

Hana still had the element of suprise, and with this sudden thick mist settling in, as if from nowhere, it seemed the perfect oppurtunity to strike. Since the two men were straight ahead of Hana, she sprinted undetectably in a 180 degree fashion, so that she ended up direct behind the men rather than infront. By this time, the men had recuperated and began to limp of the pile of rubble slowly, but surely, Hana had to strike now.

With great haste and attention to detail, so that she would not misstep and warn them of her approach, Hana jumped skillfully through the rubble to the two men, and using the kunai she had clutched within her right hand, quickly disposed of the rightmost by running straight up to his back, reaching around and slashing his esophogaus. After doing so, Hana would just as swiftly, if not more so swiftly, jump back behind a large dislodged piece of concrete so as to hide her presence from Higuchi.

These actions would occur so silently and with such fluency, that they were almost akin to Silent Homicide, a powerful and feared technique of Kirigakure, which in combination with the Hidden Mist Technique, gained Kirigakure much revere for their skilled assassination skills. They were the best in the buisness they say.

Higuchi would experience this first hand as in the same time the man blinked, the rapid course of actions would take their place, claiming his partner in crimes life. Stopped in his tracks, he came to the aid of his comrade, plunging his hands into the wound and attempting to put pressure on it. Such actions bore no fruit however, as the cut Hana inflicted ensured an instant death. Higuchi smashed his hand into rubble he stood on.

It seemed that combat missions where a favorite of Hana in recent light. A capable fighter like her after all, had their skills best used when in the heat of the moment. Tasked to decimate three missing nin, former comrades gone insane, Hana would begin her travels towards the arena, were the three men were waiting for with malice and bloodthirst.

It was the middle of the day, and the lunch rush had just settled down as many denizens of Kirigakure fled to their abodes with gluttonous expressions and fat stomachs bulging. Hana herself had ate a light meal a couple hours back, sorta a 'pregame' meal to make sure she had all the energy she needed to down these three men swiftly and soundly.

Before any of this could happen, Hana needed admittance into the arena, a rather large, circular complex on the farside of town, conviently located next to the jailhouse were most of the "competitors" resided at. Blood sports were a favorite amongst the people Kirigakure... although didn't much care for it. Watching people beat each other to death wasn't her idea of a good time.

She had walked into the building through a secret door that the mission had instructed her to proceed to. There she was faced with two, burley men in black suits standing firmly in place in front of a door which Hana assumed to lead to the colusseum.

"And who might you be young lady? Only contestants are allowed over here. Do you need me to show where the spectator entrance is?" said one of the burley men, with an almost... mocking tone.

Irritatedly, Hana unraveled the mission paper for the brawny men to set sights on, and after a few moments of them aimlessly looking over the document, they concluded that she was authentic and allowed her access into the building.

Now within the compounds, she found herself in the "backstage" part of the arena. A slew of unsavory characters lurked within, some bruised and tattered from their previous fights, some with brazen, triumphful looks on their face. What they did all have in common however, was their intriuging in Miss Hana's presence. The only females in here were medic-nin, and here Hana was, ready to take on not one, but three deadly ninja. They all gazed at her, as if she was from another planet, because frankly she didn't traditionally belong here.

As their heads turned back to the buisness, Hana could still hear a low murmur throughout the crowd, with the subject of intrest being her. A short, stubby fat man stood directly infront of the gate that was facing Hana, and which also happened to be the gate to the arena.

"Welcome Miss Hana! We've been awaiting your presence! It seems that I'll have to have a talk with the Mizukage on punctuality..."

Anything the man said would have went right over Hana's head. She was looking past him and through the cracks of the knit gate, getting a good look at her three opponents, sizing them up before she even fought them. Once her stride managed to carry her over to the gate, they were opened, and Hana emerged from them into the round pit of death were she would partake in a battle against three dangerous criminals. Typical day in Hana's shoes.

That thundurous roar from the crowd, it didn't faulter her. Hana had tunnel vision, and her targets were the three men before her. She began formulating a plan of actions the second she saw them, examining their arsenal to the very last detail. A bow man, spear and brawler. Since their ranged weapons were 2/1, she was at a disadvantage at ranged encounters naturally, so she would first have to close this distance.

A speedy sprint towards the men would cause the brawler to dash forward in a frenzy at Hana. Clumsy, sloppy, unrefined. To think that these were former Kirigakure ninja was beyond her. Hana only kept her eyes on the brawler for a short second, momentarily switching her gaze to the bowman, then the spear man. The bowman had his arrow knocked, and was ready to fire on what he thought was an unsuspecting Hana.

Their plan was already dissected, however. The brawler's cluttered assualt was purposely dumb, their goal was to draw Hana's attention away while the archer attempted to pierce her from with long range artillery, and the spearman took gaurd of the bowman if Hana chose to focus on the bowman and disregard the berserker. But Hana would let them play their little games. Two kunai clutched in both hands, the one in the left with a deadly attachment wrapped onto it, Hana would proceed to throw the left kunai while deflecting the first strike of the berserker, a punch, with the right kunai.

The battle had begun

Ni...

San...

That's how many seconds past until that kunai Hana threw at the two men would take to detonate. Boom. The bowmen would notice at the last second his fate and was able to brace himself from the oncoming onslaught, barely able to survive it. The spear man however, was long gone.

During this, a heated battle was ensuing with Hana and the knuckle duster user as he began a barrage of weak but quick attacks that Hana blocked with finesse and gracefulness. A myriad of sparks flew as the two masses of metal met together. Hana was sorta enjoying her fight with the man, until he made a mistake Hana couldn't help but capitalize on.

When the explosion happened, the berserker that Hana was locked in a furious melee duel in looked behind, and to his dismay witness the execution and near execution of his comrades. In doing so he sealed his fate, leaving his gaurd wide open and allowing Hana to swipe the man's throat clean in two with the tip of her kunai. She held the kunai in a reverse grip, giving the man's throat a horizontal slash to the left. He fell with a thud and a suprised look on his face.

All that was left was the bowman, who, with half charred skin, screamed in agony. Hana took her time walking towards the man with slow, deliberate steps. The scream was in aroused joy, screaming volatile-like demands.

"Finish him! Off with his head!"

Hana had other intentions though. Walking over to the man, he tried to scower away, begging for mercy and pray to his gods. Hana kept her approach, and so in doing so compelled to crawl away with evermore earnest. They continued this until the man was backed up on a wall, tears streaming down his face.

Hana whipped out her arms, grabbing his body, and slinging it over her solider. Heavy at first, Hana eventually got used to it, and began to carry him back to the gate which she came out of, sparing him. How could she live with herself knowing she killed this man, even when he was so pathetic that he was begging for mercy. No, that's not how Hana operated, that's not how anyone should operate. Hana learned an important lesson that day, and inadvertently taught everyone else in that arena one, too.

Lush forestry was a rare sight in the Water Country, generally, the subjects of Kirigakure were encroached in a sea of mist, which dampened their clothing and hindered their vision. Though the weather wasn't as physically extreme as Sunagakure, or Yukigakure, it did have it's mental toll. Though the mist bred many powerful ninja, foreigners have noted the mist to be... depressing, and very dreary, almost as if it sucks the life out of someone.

So even if Hana wasn't aware, being away from that Mist was doing her wonders. Here, Hana was in her element, the energy of nature flooding throughout her body, her Mokuton chakra felt revitalized and ready for battle, which it would need to be for the mission she was going to take.

Sent into the deep forest on the western side of Kirigakure, Hana was task with the hunting and killing of an arachnid queen that was terrorizing the people in that area. Hana realized she hated spiders as she thought about it while hopping from tree branch to tree branch in the thick canopy. She would enjoy this mission, so long as she wasn't covered in guts afterwards.

Chugging along quietly, Hana hadn't really even begun to truly look for the spider queen. Instead she was enjoying her surroundings a little bit too much. So much infact, she just barely didn't notice an invasive spiderling aiming to take claim to her face as it dangled from a strand of web. Luckily, Hana was able to react, and clumsily slashed open the spider with her kunai mid jump, followed by a equally abrupt and clumsy landing on the branch directly infront of her.

It was here. Reaching out with the very essence of nature, extending her Mokuton chakra outwardly, she was able to get a location on the mother, her actual target. She then proceeded to descend from branch to branch, until she came and hit the ground with a thud.

Directly 5 meters infront of her, was a huge, enraged queen. Obviously, it wasn't thrilled with the proposition of an outsider treading openly on her territory. Frankly Hana, and Kirigakure weren't to thrilled about the spider terrorizing their people, so here they were, in standoff, were only one would prove the victor.

A kunai clutched firmly in Hana's hand would be released, lodging itself snuggly within the eye of the creature before her. A bellowing wail-like sound was made by the spider, before it released a myriad of spiderling made their approach in direct response to the the disrespect of their mother.

4 of them came from a different angle, two on 45 degree angles and two on 180 degree angles. They all came at the same pace, as to jump onto Hana at the same time. Her hand on the katana which layed in it's scabbard on her left hip, she began to balance on her right foot, before lashing out with the the tip of the blade to preform a violent 180 degree spin, cutting the four spiders in the process.

It was going to take alot more than these tricks to take down Hana, as a a puddle of blood and spilled innards was before Hana, signifying her ability to swiftly and soundly dispatch of the creatures.

The queen, baffled by Hana's preformance against the four spiderlings studdered back. It began to crawl up a tree, facing it abdomen towards Hana. Then after a small delay, it began to shoot volatile balls of webbing towards her, attempting to catch her within the confines to keep the young shinobi from squirming around as it made her it's feast. Hana however, wouldn't go down that easily.

A zigzag pattern was all it took to throw the spider's aim off. Wide and deliberate, she made sure to fan her movements out so that the spider was forced to change the set of eyes used to track her movements, thus reducing it's chance of hitting her greatly. Coupled with razor sharp reflexes, and high acrobatic skills, Hana was able to dodge an onslaught of four webshots before preforming her own counter act.

All through the zig zag pattern, Hana had prepared a kunai laced with an explosive tag. As she approached the creature, she would soon find herself only 3 meters away, and without hesitation, she stopped in her tracks, threw the kunai, and patiently waited for the three second detonation.

Boom, the giant came crashing down unto the hard, cold unforgiving earth at the foot of the mighty and tall tree. It would spring back to life instantly, albeit injured and weak, but battered into a blood frenzy that made it lose all of it's sense of reason.

Baffled by the spider's astounding resilience Hana winced. The sound of crunching and gushing from the wounded spider was... grotesque. Determined to put and end to this beast, her hands began to dance, five handseals would come from it to form a powerful and skillful jutsu.

4 wooden beams protruded from Hana's outspoken left hand, which dangled within the air immeadiately after the finger incantations. They rushed at the stunned spider with ferocity and fevor, two piercing the skull of the creature, the other two driving their organic masses through the hard exoskeleton of it's abdomen. A small shower of green blood poured out from the abdomen wound, cleansing the queen in it's own blood. After being striked, the spider flailed around violently, trying to squirm around for it's life to no avail, as it slowly began to settle down, accepting it's cruel fate.
