The crow left the store and once again Sesshi was forced to quicken up his pace and catch up with him. After quickly reaching for his paper bag, he sprinted towards the door and managed stop the door with his large, gray palm right before it closed. Despite this little achievement, yet another one of the crow's degrading insults seeped through the tiny gap between the door and the doorpost. “I was beginning to think you were lost in that store”
Having squeezed himself past the door, Sesshi took place besides the boy and tagged along on his way back to the Godo residence. As he walked alongside stranger, he took a few more seconds to observe the boy's appearance. He was best described as cold and distant; His clothes and hair were as pitch black as the fowl crows he spat out, his crimson red eyes stared into the distance without a glimpse of emotion. The hitae-ate, usually a sign of loyalty towards the village and ideals, appeared not to be worn, thus Sesshi guessed the boy bore none of the qualities it stood for. Along with the knowledge that the boy's speech consisted mainly out of vicious sneers, Sesshi had no other options but to conclude that this boy was best labeled as a, what he called, "jerk in its most purest form".
"Though I would never refer to myself as sophisticated...", Sesshi began, "You are definitely from a whole other plain of bluntness and arrogance. Especially for someone who helps out elderly ladies with their groceries in his spare time...". His yellow, beady eyes cast a suspicious glare in the crow's direction. "I suggest you spit out the real reason of your appearance anytime soon".
