Despite not knowing anyone, I have seen them all in pictures, passing by, back at the academy, a restaurant, or any other place within the village, I could almost say that I knew everyone, at least their faces, and still no one was around "This is getting creepy, don't you think?" I asked to my companion, whose skull would move up and down, nodding in accordance to my statement. "But maybe it is our time to shine!!!" I yelled at the sky. Having both legs a little bit split, both arms extended and pointing upwards with my palms open. I was getting a little bit excited to be honest, and Cadáver as well, as she began to praise me, though no one else did. The ones walking around would just give me that creepy look everyone did, what, haven't they seen a man with an skeleton as a companion back in the past? "WHAT!?!?!?!? WHAT ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT!?" I yelled and did some sort of attempt to attack them, though immediatly stopped by Cadáver who grabbed me by my abdomen, preventing me to go any further. Enter!

Kugutsu no Jutsu (Puppetry technique)

Chakra: Mid to cast, low to sustain.
Special: This ability allows the ninja to emit chakra threads from their fingers, giving them the ability to manipulate a variety of items, namely puppets. Being comprised of chakra, these threads are immune to any and all physical assaults (including elemental ninjutsu). They can, however, be cut by items that are being charged with chakra (regardless of the element). The user can emit one thread per finger, each of which is capable of controlling a single item (a full puppet included).
Description: Kugutsu no Jutsu is a fundamental ninjutsu technique behind all forms of puppetry, and the preferred method of execution for shinobi that have discovered its use in battle. By emitting threads of chakra that allow perfect control between the user and their creation, it allows a ninja to use a puppet to attack from afar. The puppet itself can be loaded with many weapons and tools, allowing the puppet master to remain hidden while the puppet moves and attacks the target. However, puppet masters can also attack their strings to human beings as well (requires a physical touch first), and weapons as well!

The Hidden Rock Village had always been jubilant with life, but for some strange reason, today, nobody was around. Of course, there had still been plenty of civilians. However, there were only a few shinobi, and with the Tsuchikage being absent, that could only mean one thing. Whatever situation his people were in was urgent, and needed to be taken care. He headed toward the district of the Tsuchikage’s Office, crashing into another on his way.

He would not say anything, instead deciding to stand, and stare, backing up about 1 meter away. He crossed his arms, and observed the boy closely. He took note of every feature with his blessed eyes^1A, as pure as snow. From the looks of it, whoever this person was liked puppet. There had even been a chance he was good at using them. Fukashi would have to find out. If he were truly an Iwa-nin, he would be on guard at all times.

Well, finally someone with the guts to get closer. As I let myself to fall down Cadáver would be already there to prevent my body to touch the ground, and instead, she would grab me in the middle of the fall, allowing me to see the man directly, though due to my position he was seen upside down. "Hello!" I said "It seems you are not afraid of Cadáver" as this last statement was done the puppet would turn to see the man and wave with his right hand, while his right arm would be still grabbing me. "May we help you?" this boy was, at some point creepy, and that was me saying it, so silent, cold, and I was barely knowing him "Or are you not the talkative type of person?" "Is he a talkative type of person?" I asked to Cadáver, who only moved her shoulders, telling me that she did not know it for sure. Of course, Cadáver was not alive, could not think nor respond, every single action made was stated by myself, or better said, my other self, who was the one moving the fingers and the chakra threads, my hidden personality that made my puppets look like living beings, the one that allowed me to interact with them with me without even noticing it, oh... it's so good to be insane, really.

Fukashi could already tell, by simply becoming acquainted with his visage, that this guy would be something. He did not seem like your average Iwa-nin. Most of them had a latent killer instinct, waiting to be put to use. Perhaps he also had it, but Fukashi was not too sure, going off the first impression he had already made. The person had hit the nail dead on when he came to the conclusion that Fukashi was not the talker type, but he would engage conversation.

“Yes. It’s true that I don’t speak much. But you seem to want to talk, so I’ll provide you a conversation. I’m Fukashi, of the Hyuuga clan. And you are?” he stated, and then questioned, diligently scanning the rest of their area, as to be sure that if anybody was around, he would know of it. There was not a single location, aside from the blind spot on the back of his head, which he was not able to see. He outstretched his arm, to shake the hand of his comrade.

As I listened to what he had to say I would stand up and both, Cadáver and I will remain still until our time to speak would come "Fukashi!! Nice to meet you!" I said while smiling, soon my left index finger would aim at my puppet before my following statement would be made "I am not the talkative type of person either... but she is!" letting others know that my puppet was to be considered a female. As he outstreched his arm for a hand shake, Cadáver would do the same. Maybe not the hand shake of the person he was expecting but he got one. as that happening I placed my right hand all over my face, extending the palm covering it all but my right eye. My body began to "shake" and a silent laught came out of it "Who am I?" with every single moment the laught became louder, until it was pointless to hid it. "HAHAHAHA! Who am I!?" I yelled, in reaction, Cadáver began to shiver, of course at my subconscious orders. Her teeth began to clash with each other, causing that creepy noise coming out of her jaw. As for me, I have extended my arms up into the sky and let everyone see my persona, I told you, this was my time to shine. "The unique, creepy and always forgotten... Johann George Faust LuCont VIII" I continued my speech while posing with every one of my names, as Johann was said I crossed both of my arms, forming an "X" to be shown, for the George name, I decided to crouch a little bit, standing with the left knee on the ground and my left palm as well on the ground, quickly standing up as I pronounced the name "Faust" I put both of my fist next to my hips while looking at the horizon, and finally, for the "LuCont" I turned a little bit, assuming some sort of "careless" posture, just to end the "VIII" by forming a "V" with my right hand, specifically the index and middle finger, while the number "III" will be formed with my left hand finger, the middle and the ones next to it. This as I turned back to see the man directly at him. "Oh... and she is Cadáver" I finished, which caused the skeleton to turn his sight to the ground, as if she would be sad for her simplistic introduction.

Johann had been one of those flashy individuals who probably think introductions matter. By being there, Fukashi already knows what he needs to know about him. After their little interpersonal fiasco, now with the puppet grasping his hand, Fukashi pulled inward, toward himself. He would let go before making bodily contact with the wooden being. Appearing^2A behind Johann, he would fling his arm, dagger^2B protruding forth. Fukashi wanted to test his dodging skills. Regardless, even if the man didn’t move, he would stop his attack before hitting him, concealing his weapon once more.

❀ A RANDOM ENCOUNTER APPEARS

[/right][/size]Two Genin from the Hidden Sand had escaped the wrath of the Tsuchikage. They had made their way across the borders to the enemy lines. If they couldn't defend their homeland from invasion, they would strike at the core of the enemy whilst they were distracted. These two shinobi had not received orders on behalf of the Kazekage. They simply acted on their on accord, they simply wanted revenge.

Somehow they were able to bypass the village security. They made their way into the village under the cloak of the night, past the guards at the gates and into the village streets. Now all that was needed was to return the pain that had been inflicted to them. They scaled the roofstops, edging closer to the centre of the village. Below them in the houses were mere civilians enjoying their evening meals. These people were not of concern. The pair wanted to kill shinobi.

Soon their prayers had been answered. In the street below them from the rooftops stood a pair of Hidden Stone ninja. They both looked fairly young in age, around the same as their own. These two would be the first victims of the secret counter-invasion. Leaping from the top of the buildings, the pair of them flickered their hands into a series of seals. They landed on the ground at least twelve metres away from the pair of Stone ninja.

Firstly, this Fukashi guy went agressive all of the sudden, the most I could do was to step backwards and command the marionette to immediatly step closer as soon as the boy dissapeared, true, the puppet's speed cannot be compared to the shunshin skill, which, unlike popular belief, it was not instantaneous nor light speed, due to its nature, without a distraction one could easily see through it without the need of a doujutsu, either way, despite the speed, his distance was not enough to get away from Cadáver's claws, which where as large as the distance between them, so little to no movement would suffice for her claws to reach its target. Though nothing would go beyond that. As Fukashi stopped his agression, which was before Cadáver's, so the puppet did, leaving us both aimed with sharp items just milimeters away "Hey... what do you think you are doing?" I asked the moment I got the chance "Don't you know it is rude to attack others from behind?" as I could see his intentions were never to harm, after all, if that would be it, he would have stabbed me the moment he could. Soon, a couple would fall from the sky, easily seen the moment they jumped off of the roof due to the currect circumstances, a silent and empty place, as they descended their hands began to form zodiacs, which made me ask "Friends of yours?" to Fukashi, after all, he hasn't been that friendly up to now. Immediatly I would step aside and backwards, leaving me around a meter to Fukashi's left and another one behind him, ordering Cadáver to release her threatening actions and remain still "What an entrance!" I exclaimed as they were just about to touch the ground, that being the instant before I realized it, their headbands. Sunagakure and Iwagakure's war was not a hidden secret, so assuming any Suna shinobi to be an enemy was nothing but correct, specially since they came all of the sudden forming handseals... within the village! The moment their feet touched land, my marionette became invisible and got its sound dampening device actived. Which allowed her to run straight forward at full speed towards the duo without being seen nor heard. The moment Cadáver would be nine meters away from them, a flashing light will came out of her invisible eye holes, attempting to blind those two stranger found in front of her. Even if not, her attack would continue, being close enough, she would activate her chainsaw and attempt to make a diagonal cut at the one found infront of me, if somehow their location was to be unknown at any time, the puppet will get back and place herself five meters away from me. As everything happened, I quickly stepped backwards and asked "So... like really!? What's going on!?" at this point, Fukashi, for the fact of being an Iwagakure shinobi became an ally, unless he demonstrated the opposite.

While engaging in combat with his comrade, Fukashi immediately shifted his attention elsewhere. Gazing over the shoulder of Johann, and their puppet, he could see two individuals standing on the rooftop of a building. By simply analyzing their headbands, he could tell their were Suna-nin. If that was the case, they were enemies. His Tsuchikage had recently gathered up shinobi for their village to head to war with them. If they were aiming to attack his village, they would be killed.

Using Johann to obscure his vision before he moved, Fukashi would perform a set of hand seals^3A, slapping his hands against the ground to channel his chakra through it. By the time they jumped, the ground below them would began shifting, and taking another shape. It was highly unlikely that they would able to dodge while airborne, and even if they did, Johann had already moved to his side, and was ready to follow up his attack with their own.

Surely, they would be blinded by the technique of Cadaver, and left falling into their death as they performed hand seals. They could try to dodge, but it had been futile. About 20 meters around them had also been affected by his technique. Fukashi, and his partner would not be safe, either, if they did not move, as they were still roughly 8 meters in. That had been nothing a few leaps back would not help. Taking them, he situated himself 20 meters from the enemy, bending his arms back to strike^3B.

The two of them had landed, comrades ready to strike revenge into the hearts of the Stone ninja. With the pair of them already distracted fighting each other, it would be highly unlikely that they would've noticed the arrival of the Sand ninja until they landed with a thud on the ground nearby. The seals had already been performed. All that remained was for the techniques to be released upon their foes. The fight was about to begin.

Waka stood in position with his hands locked in place. To the side of him on his right stood his comrade, Flaka, also prepared to launch his own technique. Ahead of them, Waka realised that their presence had already been noticed. It was time to unleash the wrath of the Sand upon these two Stone shinobi. "Stomping Monkey's Quake Technique," Waka muttered as he stomped his right foot on the ground. Instantly, the quake hit.

Along the range of twenty metres, the earthquake rippled through the ground below. With the two Stone ninja and his comrade within this range, it would be highly likely that they were caught within this rippling effect. The effect of the technique itself would impact their movement speeds, as well as disorientate them for a brief period. But it did not end there. With Waka's technique performed, Flaka immediately took the spotlight by performing his own.

"Great Fireball," he spoke quickly whilst exhaling from his lungs. With the exhale came the shot of the two fireballs toward either target. It would be good to see how they would react. The incoming puppet, although that could not be seen, would possibly be clipped by the fireballs if it continued to rush toward the Sand ninja. Nevertheless, the disorientation of the earthquake combined with the fireballs would create quite a messy situation for the Stone ninja.

An instant later the two Sand shinobi were temporarily blinded by the sudden flash of light. With the puppet now directly ahead of them it would be more than likely that it would've been struck by the incoming fireballs. The earthquake's disorientation surely would have shook the puppeteer around a bit, possibly preventing for an efficient use of the puppetry technique in order to manipulate the puppet. But surprises could always occur.

The second Stone ninja on the other hand was busily flustering through a long series of hand seals. The amount of hand seals would surely have taken a while to perform, perhaps leaving an opening to be struck if he continued to stay in the same place performing the seals. After he clapped his hands on the ground, would it be too late for the Stone lad? After the two Sand ninja rubbed their eyes, they took off to flank their opponents whilst preparing themselves.

Chuusijin no Jutsu (Stomping Monkey’s Quake Technique)

Chakra: Mid to cast and sustain.
Special: Range of earthquake depends on the user’s level of Doton Ryouuken. As long as anyone except the user is within range of the quake and standing atop the ground, they will automatically suffer serious balance and orientation disruption, resulting in a 50% loss of speed - effects aren't auto however, and can be evaded with clever RP. Quake lasts the entire turn, and can be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: As its name implies, this basic yet efficient technique results in the wielder forming a few simple handseals and then stomping and pounding the ground wildly, their limbs coated in a special chakra. As they pound away, the earthquake consumes the area, disrupting balance and speed. Very good for when faced with waves of opponents, or for taking down weakened edifices.

Special: Distance, size, and strength are equal to 'Endan'. Up to 2 fireballs can be fired off per use, plus 1 one each time retrained. However, after each retraining, chakra consumption will go up by one. Keep in mind balls are shot one after another, not simultaneously.
Description: An upgrade to the 'Endan' technique, this allows the user to expel an even greater stream of fire now that they are more adept at controlling their Katon chakra. With the stream of fire, they can quickly shoot off several larger fireballs in quick succession, resulting in an overwhelming set of blasts all carrying an explosive fate.

As the duo landed, both of us were doing our techniques already. Soon, the eartquake will come and a disruption of ours plans as well. "What the!?!?!?!?" I exclaimed in reaction to the earthquake. True, the earthquake disrupted our movements including the puppet's, but mainly those involving our feet. As for my kugutsu skill, which dealed with my finger, it remained intact. Allowing me to immediatly react to such action. As the fireball appeared my fingers would command to mimick the action, spreading a stream of fire towards the enemy's fireball which certainly may not be as powerful, yet should suffice to either slow it down or decrease its potency, either way, it matter not. However as for me, I had other plans. As I felt the earthquake my kikaichuu would spread forward moving on the ground, without even touching nor getting closer to the fireball. As I noticed the fireball coming, I immediatly shunshined to my left, steping aside from the katon's range, which despite the deformed land and the quake delay I should have around second or so of time reaction before the fireball would reach me, more than enough for the shunshin to take place. My puppet, Cadáver, unlike the traditional puppet, was not one to worry about, its main purpose was fighting, and so, it would be used for it, its Crystal body allowed her to have such a defense that not even the giant fireball would damage her, allowing her to easily go through the jutsu. With an obscured vision, the skeleton, who by the effects of the earthquake may be delayed by a second or two would be at four or five meters away from them, who by a lack of proximity ceased his diagonal cut. At such distance, her neck would extend to such a point that her jaws would reach Waka's throat, allowing her to easly rip through it if landed. With the giant fireball, the blinding effect and the invisible/sound dampening skill of Cadáver evading such attack became harder than expected. Soon, my kikaichuu would be inches away from the foes, and if everything went well, Waka would not be an obstacle anymore.

Fukashi could feel the vibration of the earthquake rattling the ground beneath his feet, almost throwing him off balance. Having this technique within his arsenal, he knew how it worked, and what had been needed to counter its effects. Keeping his eyes fixed on both of the Suna-nin, he disappeared^4A ten meters backward. No longer feeling the disorienting tremors, he would confirm his being out of its range. Immediately stopping, as the fireball dissipated, still two meters away from it, he performed three hand seals^4B, submerging himself within the ground.

With his Byakugan, he could still keep track of his foes, and his comrade. He watched them as he gripped the hilt of both of his weapons^4C, ready to strike as he moved to the direct outside of the ongoing earthquake. It would last for a minute, so he would have to wait before he had the chance to strike. Regardless, it was always good to be prepared, and with his ally, taking charge above, he had nothing to worry. They duo aimed to swiftly eliminate their enemies.

The streaming of fire would be met by the overwhelming force of the B-ranked fireball. It would stand no match as the stream could only produce C-ranked level damage. Nonetheless, the puppeteer would escape unharmed. Issues concerning his puppet though would be an entirely different story. Taking on the fireball with a direct hit, the puppet itself fell victim to a variety of issues. None of these would be beneficial to the Stone puppeteer.

The fact that the puppet was made from crystal did not mean that it didn't have openings. Although the crystal shell would have protected the majority of the outer-layer of the puppet, there would still be areas open for attack. The puppets joints including its neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees, ankles, and hips would be areas that couldn't possibly be made from crystal. As crystal is a solid material, it would simply break if bent to move.

Thus with this, the fireball's damage would have affected these opening areas. Though if they were possibly made from steel the fire itself would not affect these joints, merely heat them to a very hot point. With the weakness of the stealth unit being that it deactivates when overheated, it is more than likely that as the steel and crystal elements heat the puppets body up, the stealth unit will also be overheated in the process.

This has the ability to in fact render the stealth unit useless. It is also the fact that as the fireball would've hit the puppet, an outline of the puppet within the flame would have been noted. With this vision, the Sand ninja made each other well aware of what they saw. "What the hell is that? Maybe that was the thing that shot the light out before," Waka questioned to Flaka as they observed the outline. They wondered what it could have been.

With a human doll-like appearance and the ability to simply absorb the direct impact of the fireball, they attempted to guess what it was. Flaka looked across to see Johann, although now ten metres away from the fireballs direction, standing in an awkward stance. With his hands out, adjusting his fingers with each movement, it became obvious what this was. It was a puppet, and that was the puppeteer. A moment later, the puppet began to strike.

The puppets incoming head was directed against Waka. With it's mouth opened and jaws at the ready, Waka found the opening he was looking for. The hand seals had already been prepared. "Rock Spear," Waka spoke quickly whilst flaring his chakra onto the ground. Stone from the ground that had been slightly disfigured in the previous earthquake were lifted up and slammed together in the shape of a spear.

The incoming open mouth of the puppet would then be met with this spear. It was also likely that the kikaichū on the ground only a few inches away from Waka were picked up in the process. Not only would the mouth of the puppet now be filled with a vast amount of rock, but also the bugs of the puppeteer would be moving within it. When bugs move through the joints of a puppet, they can negatively affect it's range of movement.

Flaka had also noticed his partner in danger. With the retreat of Fukashi now twenty-two metres away from him, Flaka shrugged him off as a possible threat for now. He made his way around to where the puppets extended neck was. With it now being held down by the spear, Flaka saw the opening to strike the puppet at its neck. With his hand seals already complete, he grabbed ahold of the hilt of his ninjato. With a semi-circular cutting motion, he swung his blade out.

"Flame Slash," he yelled along with the strike. Through this, a layer of fire edged along his blade as he cut into the neck of the puppet. With the head of the puppet now suppressed, it was unlikely that it would be going anywhere. Nevertheless, he prepared himself for future offensive strikes with now a curve of fire lining the area along the left side of his body - in the direction where his enemies stood. Both Waka and Flaka awaited for the next move.

Description: Kaengiri is a Ninjutsu used by Katon ninja that combine their chakra prowess with their weapons. After forming the needed handseals, the user draws their sword and imbues Katon chakra into the blade. Once ready, the user will unleash flaming arcs at multiple opponents. Though the slashes are thin, the flames they produce are indeed dangerous, capable of leveling an area in flames within seconds when used right.

1) My puppet is made of Crystal, everything but electronic devices or w/e. ]I agree with the overheating stealth system, but not the fact that her joints are of other material. Look at the whole arm as two parts that are put together with a giant nail/screw and a nut for the basic parts (elbow and so) and some sort of sphere for the complex (shoulder and so)

Despite having a overheatness in his stealth system, the marionette was able to properly move, though now, with a temporary crashed stealth system, leaving her true identity revealed for the rest of the battle. As the spike came forth, so the insects, though instead of being devoured or anything like the sort by Cadáver, they immediatly flew straight forward at Waka, the mass of insects that were around half a thousand would spread through the sand shinobi's persona, head, face, eyes, limbs, hands, legs, feet, torso, back and front, may the amount of bugs not be enough to fully cover him, yet enough to fulfill their duty. At such distance, evading the insects became nearly impossible, the distance was just inches away from the foe, even to perform a shunshin no jutsu in order to evade the insects became impossible, firstly Waka had to realize their existance, whether it be a single instant, the blink of an eye, anything... but he would not have such time. Five centimeters, half the size of a fist, that blink of an eye needed to reach was what my beloved bugs needed to reach him, even if somehow he would, they would chase him until the end of the world. Being caught, the insects not only began to immediatly drain chakra (x3 High per turn) but attempted to block his sight, placing a several amount in her face, specially their eyes as well as ceasing his movements. The marionette's mouth indeed met the spear, yet nothing that her crystal body may not withstand, pushing her head a little bit back due to the impact, neither the spear was strong enough to pierce her skull nor her jaws had enough force to crush the doton skill, so being held down to it was impossible. Even if so, the spear's size was about a meter and Cadáver's height was two meters, at some point the spear would have to leave the ground in order to touch her skull. True, the land was deformed, but single fissures and cracks, deforming the land to such degree to cause slopes of a meter in such a large area was neither, the technique's purpose nor power. Would the impact and the fireball disorient the marionette's movement? Impossible. I was able to control every single part of Cadáver in a separate way, meaning that it matter not if her head was trapped or even smashed and crushed, her arms and legs could still do anything I wanted. As a lifeless being it was not ruled by the laws of human anatomy, so twisting her neck 360° was possible, the same for her limbs, which could be moved at any direction without worrying to break her bones because she did not have, she was, despite I hated the word, a tool. As Cadáver would act as if trapped and held down, Flaka would have no motive to change his actions, meaning that his fire swing should take place, though I had a plan. Moments before the hit, Cadáver's neck retracted a little bit, just enough to evade the swing, which by the man's inertia evading any of the following attack became impossible, not even with a shunshin no jutsu, which once again, due to the swing and the inertia nulling the opportunity to cast such skill. In the same instant both the flash light and the flame cannon activated, both aimed at Flaka which should both damage and blind him, allowing for the marionette's neck to extend and using her jaws crush the enemy's throat. As all this happened, Cadáver's body got closer quickly so in just a second should her whole body arrive to continue with the assault, swinging both her large crystal claws and the chain saw in horizontal way, aiming to decapitate with the left hand and cut through the man's torse with her right one. If somehow the man would evade it all and still in range the puppet would continue with the stream of fire and the swing, along with the same swing action as before, everything aimed at Flaka, unless Waka's location became closer then, the target will be changed. As for me, I remained still at the same safe distance, about fifteen meters in a diagonal way from Waka and Flaka's location. I have also sent since the beginning another mass of kikaichuu of around the same size towards Waka, flying in a circular way, away from the battle (five meters to the left), splitting onto four groups, up, down, right and left, all of them chasing Waka, adapting such formation in order to more than one skill be needed to stop them and always evading the incoming objetcs and jutsus. If everything went as planned, they would catch Waka in a few seconds.

As I said, I agree with having the electrical and that stuff affected, but not her body nor any of her capabilities to move whether it be her whole body, or just a part of it (limb and so). The WHOLE puppet is made of Crystal (S rank defense) unless stated otherwise (electrical devices, systems and so)

Fukashi, watching everything from beneath their terrain, had emerged, both weapons withdraw, and ready to strike. He had moved closer to his enemies as they performed hand seals, being right behind them when began to use their techniques. Being that they disregarded him, not even considering him a threat, he would use their underestimation against them in the form of a surprise attack. While both of them focused on taking his partner out, he parallel slashed, aiming to sever them in two.
