TSUCHIKAGE FORTRESS!

Before Iwagakure even grew into it's own, there was a former society of a more simple folk that called the now Iwagakure their home. The village was smaller and extremely closed off to outsiders. This was due to the fact that the entire village lived behind a one-hundred meter tall wall of the fortress they themselves had built. Tucked away into a gap within a mountain, the fortress itself even has portions of itself built into the mountain as well as an escape route that no one other than the most important individuals in Iwagakure know about [Tsuchikage, Earth Daimyo, ANBU]. Yet when the village evolved into Iwagakure, it was kept more as a fall back shelter, but since the new Tsuchikage, Slade, has taken his reign he has chosen this as his home, leaving the other Tsuchikage Tower to be nothing, but a decoy. The fortress itself has aged surprisingly well, it's structure still as strong as it's day of completion with little damage done to it's face. Many rooms and levels are within the fortress as well ranging from main building, to the tower, to the portion that is built into and within the mountain itself. Leaving plenty of room for various assistants, ANBU, Hunter-nin, etc.

Forward House | Floors #1 - 5

Once an individual steps into the fortress they are then within the Forward House's ground/courtyard. In this building and it's various floors include where an individual gets their missions, request an audience with the Tsuchikage, etc. It's the most hustle and bustle area within the fortress and is noticeably the most "open" section.

For missions just come and go, but do anything sketchy and you're done as I NPC the guards and the like
To gain entrance one must be willing to sacrifice their items/tools/armor at the entrance to be granted within, items will be returned upon exit
Foreign shinobi will be kept at a closed gate to await even entrance here, as well various Iwagakure shinobi will be kept at the closed gate similarly

Throne Room | Meeting Hall

Within the very first section of the fortress built within the mountain one finds the throne room / meeting hall. If given permission you are allowed within to meet with the Tsuchikage, their guard, and whom ever else may be with them or already there. Simple, yet beautiful the walkway leading to the stone throne is surrounded by a rather deep [10 foot] pool of crystal clear, warm water. A single window lets in the light that brightens up the otherwise gloomy looking room. To either side of the throne are green fires that burn incense daily, behind them are two massive dragon statues, and behind them is a single dragon mural carved into the mountain wall itself.

Tsuchikage's Office | ROOMS

Within the highest rooms of the tower attached to the fortress is the Tsuchikage's office, bed chamber, training room, etc. It's exact lay out and such are a secret to many.

Treasure Room | Vault

Now, the treasury itself is used as a face holder for things such as the village's currency. Though only accessible by the Tsuchikage and another puzzle, though it's secrecy is less stressed than The Keep, he may leave an ANBU or an Assistant to go and get what is needed in the treasury. Though other than the ryo and the headbands as well as other various things, the majority of things within are mocks/fakes. Which includes the secret village techniques and the Kage-bunshin scroll. It is within the highest floor/room of the fortress built within the mountain and is guarded by two ANBU at all times.

The Keep

Like other Kage, Slade himself has a room of secrets within his home of work. Here one would find the real treasures of Iwagakure, including it's secret village techniques and a Kage-bunshin scroll. Other various items and scrolls are kept within as well though they might be of more sentimental value than anything else. The entrance and location of the room itself is only known by the Tsuchikage. To gain entrance involves a very hectic and time consuming puzzle to which like the room's location is only known by the Tsuchikage.

Kumojin sighed. He had never met the kage, so he had no idea what to expect. He went to the first door, still in his almost completely black outfit, ready to go out on a mission at the drop of a hat. He looked around and was slightly awestruck. It wasn't a huge building, but it would take forever to conduct a siege war against it. This building was sturdy enough for the Daimyo to be hidden here and for him to still feel safe, even in a village full of ninja. Kumojin walked to the front gate and waited. It was going to be one of those long, bureacratic days he despised. It didn't change his determination. It wasn't much, but he felt it his duty as a member of the village to try to give some money to the village, otherwise it would take to long to grow.

He took off his hood, revealing dark brown hair and an almost ghostly complexion from wearing the suit for so long. He could breathe much easier without the mask, and there was no need to hide his face from the Kage's office.
"Can Somebody let me in?"

[Kumojin]

An anbu guard was certainly expected, but this far out? That was a new one to Kumojin. He walked forward a bit, trying to figure out what the anbu meant when he said he saw Kumojin with the current Kage before. As far as Kumojin knew, the Kage was a reclusive old man who never exited his base. At least not detecetd. Kumojin walked straight forward for a bit, looking around to see a few people here and there, though not a lot. He was finally on the bridge, slowly sloping upward until he hit the end of the bridge. There he found an enormous spiked gate. Kumojin thought he was on the right path, but couldn't be sure with this gigantic fortress.

[/b][/color] Nodding to the boy the woman would motion for the others to raise the gate and in moments the boy was free to move into the main building. And by time he had arrived there, the Yamanaka had sent word to the main assistant there so they would be prepared for the spiderling.

Looking up the young man, about the same age as the spider boy spoke loudly. "Here for a meeting with the new Tsuchikage yeah? Well, you're going to have to relinquish all weapons and the like and your hands will be bound, do you accept these terms?"[/color] The boy had the option to do so, or to be escorted out of the fortress.

Kumojin laughed a bit as the Bear anbu raised the gate. It was quite a smart way to do the secondary permission of this base. Have someone gain first permission in person, then the second permission be a secret. There were ways around it, but not by anyone who did not know about it or plan for it. Kumojin smiled as he walked past the spiked gate and looked around. The hallway was huge and had quite a few people in it. Almost instantly, one of them showed up to meet Kumojin. The man asked Kumojin to relinquish his weapons and be bound, which was rather idiotic to Kumojin.

Kumojin thought to himself a bit.Well, No security is perfect I guess. They were asking him to remove his weapons, but at the same time, there were many people, like himself, that could make weapons from nowhere and some who were weapons themselves. "You guys should use more sensors if you are going this far." He smiled a bit and let out a small laugh. So far, he had only seen one person who might have been a sensor, and there were probably only 8 or so he didn't notice. Having a sensor was a rare luxory few could afford, but with such a tight security regiment, adding a few more couldn't hurt."Well, I guess I don't have a choice." He smiled a bit as he let himself be bound.

Kumojin hoped a Yamanaka was listening in like earlier as he thought of a plan of how to escape the bindings. A simple jutsu from the academy days, Escape Jutsu. Then by using his clans technique, he could easily make a shuriken or senbon. He had a feeling that, if his thoughts were being read, it was probably going to get him thrown into a dungeon of some sort, but he didn't really mind.

[/b][/color] Giggling a bit he motioned for a hawk masked ANBU and an eel masked ANBU to come forward, removing the boy's equipment they'd bound his hands, all of them at that. But, if he expected to escape with some sort of technique he'd find it difficult as he was bound with no ordinary rope bonds, but rather ones of steel cords, which would encompass the entirety of his hands tightly which made even moving a single finger impossible. And with the boy's sarcasm to be checked, they made sure the bonds would be uncomfortable to say the least as they began guiding him through the long way to the Throne-room.

The two ANBU Themselves were mute, having removed their tongues during a mission together to keep themselves from giving up the village's secret so even though they thought ill of the boy they did not speak it, not like they would have otherwise though. Pushing the large doors open they'd guide the boy now through the hall and to the edge of the walkway, about fifteen meters from the Tsuchikage who stood just before his throne. What would the boy do now? Four ANBU guards and the Tsuchikage awaited his words.

Kumojin, without looking up, smiled a bit. "I came to make a donation to the village, but since no one in the village knew who to take it to, I figured I would just bring it here. There should be about 5000 Ryo in the back of my suit."
Kumojin shuffled his shoulders a bit, working the sack of ryo up fron the center of his spine onto his neck, using his shoulder blades to control where the money popped out of. It came out of the neck of the suit and sat on his shoulder. Kumojin looked up and, to his suprise, saw someone he knew.
"Holy Crap, It's slade!"
Kumojin laughed a bit and almost fell down.
"I thought it was just a pipe-dream you wanted to be the Kage of the village of the stone."

"So other than to donate to our lovely village, what brings you here Kumojin?"[/color]

Kumojin was still in a bit of shock that one of the few people he had done missions with in this entire village was now the Kage, but then again, everyone had probably done missions with the man here or there, and almost everyone knew his skill or at the very least had heard of it, otherwise he wouldn't have been nominated. He wasn't really here for any particular reason. His main goal had already been fulfilled, so the rest was just extra.

"Nothing really, just came to give some money to try to get the village up and running. Hopefully we can make this rough village of stone shine like a village of gems. I was going to offer help, but with all these guards, I'm pretty sure you don't need it."[/b]

Grinning from ear to ear Slade rose from the throne and began walking back and forth going over his idea and confirming it. "I am pushing out a mission that the last Tsuchikage herself had made. It involves gearing up for war, by joining the ranks of the village ANBU. Would you be interested in this Kumojin? I would be ever so in your debt, I hardly know these men and women behind their masks. And although your life would change quite a bit, I would ensure you that having you at my side as a guard will be the grandest of anything you could possibly imagine!..."[/color] Letting his words and offer sink into the young man's mind he'd give brief pause. Standing there jut off to the left of the throne stood Slade, waiting, letting the spider boy think over his options. "What say you?"[/color] In reality Slade was rather indifferent if the boy would take the mission or not, but if he did it would only mean the ANBU would grow and strengthen, if not then he'd still be contacted for more, important missions. Just that he wouldn't have the benefits an ANBU would.

It didn't take Kumojin long to decide what to do. He already liked being a shadow among the masses. Hiding his face and body with the mask of an anbu seemed to fit his personality perfectly. There was one problem though. Kumojin had yet to meet the requirements to be an ANBU and probably wouldn't anytime soon. At least not until the Chuunin exams came around, and that wasn't the most common thing in the world. He wasn't opposed to the idea of defending one of the few people in this village he knew, but if he was going to do it, he needed to be strong enough to be of some use.

"It would be a fun ride Slade, but I don't think I can fit that post yet. Maybe after I become a chuunin. Until then, I don't think I would have the skill and aptitude for it. Once I have that level of skill, I would gladly work for you."

With that thought, Kumojin couldn't wait to get started training. He wanted to be strong enough to make sure he was able to pass the chuunin exams, and then become an Anbu for the Shadow of Iwagakure. To Kumojin, it was a dream job that few could compare to. The strength to help from the shadows was Kumojins greatest desire.

"A close eye will be kept on you and your progress my friend, now go forth and continue aiding in the village's growth."[/color] And with that Slade would make his leave through another entrance/exit of his own use only after one of the ANBU at the boy's side had tossed him the sack of ryo. With this the ANBU led Kumojin back to the main building so he could make his true exit from the fortress.

Kumojin looked at the guards. The security was fine for when most of the village was known, but there were a few things that they should have done. Hozuki and the Sand Demon Bloodlines could easily make it into the base and attack the kage, shifting their bodies through the restraints. There were two ways to watch out for this, one of which was the sensors. If the sensor was advanced enough, they could detect "special" chakra. The other way required less specific manpower. Simply checking if their fingers bled when stabbed would be sufficent, usually.

In the main hall, Kumojin was released of his shackles. He walked through the main hall and grabbed a mission scroll before leaving. He would prefer not to have to come clear back in just for a scroll, with all the problems he faced getting in.

Kumojin walked out of the fortress, hoping the Yamanaka ANBU heard his thoughts about security. It wasn't as if he didn't trust their security, but if someone wanted him dead enough to risk their life by entering, then he was pretty sure they were going to be very acceptant of death.
