So you’re tasked with exploring our lands. If you spot a shinobi from another village don’t hesitate to quickly return and inform the Raikage. Do not hastily rush into battle if the numbers are against you. However if everything is peaceful then enjoy your away time. Note this mission will give you two days of leave from Kumogakure no Sato. If you do not return to Kumogakure no Sato you will be sought after.

The first part of the master's plan was complete. Although much time had passed, he had left Kumogakure in a most glorious state, prospering on a level beyond the rest of the recognized hidden villages. Her allies were bold and she had been respected across the nations. As such, there was no surprise to find her as it had been last seen, untouched, grand, and in the same location as always.
You've seen far too many happy days, my friend...
During my time away, nothing but good news had been heard in regards to Cloud, and to come and expect anything less upon arrival would be futile. However, this would also make master's tasks that much harder; Kumo would be a large castle to sack. But nothing was impossible, not if you had the right drive for it; contemplating on such things made the afternoon countryside a truly surreal sight. It was fleeting, to the point his chakra, steadily coursing through each pathway and keeping the faithful servant informed and alert at all times, seemed to momentarily disappear.
"..."
Kaminari no Kumi, the home of master's hidden village, as well as the lands that provide a small vacation from the rigors of mountain life. The trek had elapsed some time now, having left many of the ranges long behind by now, strolling across the bare earth covered in master's traditional traveling cloak. Reconnaissance was never the most adventurous task, but in this case, it formed a stepping stone to a higher plane of existence; it was decided then that for the sake of our cause, the dullness will be tolerated.
So far, so good...
All was quiet, for now.
