All seemed well and the titan appeared to have emerge relatively unharmed, however, that was until a grand explosion took place. Having taken the full brunt of its force, it by all means had been no ordinary tag or explosion, nay, this was powered by the mystical powers of chakra. Truthfully the explosions themselves were minuscule to the titan itself, however, where one explosion was expected to occur, multiple ignited instead. The titan, in pain, fell back as it stumbled, its hand at this time (since interrupted) still covered Masuyo's body with a cupped hand. That same hand faltered beneath the immense power managed to break through and even burn and envelope Masuyo himself albeit significantly dampened.

The weight and side of the titan itself was enough to cause a large portion of damage and equally snuff out the lives of many under its massive structure. A large billowing cloud of dust and debris flung high into the air and created a momentary cloud of obstruction large enough to cover Namyeol's 'crouched' posture as well as Masuyo. The young assailant fell off his titan's shoulders and plummeted into the ground at an alarming rate. Unwillingly, his body tumbled and revolved, face down in a pile of rocks and rubble among bloodied and burnt corpses. The stench twisted his stomach, his ears rang with a continuous siren from the concussive force of the explosion, and finally he felt burns and lacerations along his body, but nothing that left him disfigured.

Coming to his sense he pushed off the ground with both hands to raise up to a proper standing position. The entire top portion to his robe, seared and burned to the point where the only thing left visible was his bare chest which had then been covered in pinkish red burns. Coughing, his eyes flicked back and forth, trying to physically make sense of his position.

"What the hell could that have possibly been, I didn't even see anything come down at me. Tch! "

Breathing heavily, adrenal glands opened as his heart rate increased exponentially, feeling that rush of ecstasy right before a soldier believes his life is forfeit. The dust began to settle which only meant that his position would have been compromised, and in his condition he couldn't have afforded that. Both hands merged together and formed a single (.50) seal distinctive to the suiton arts which heralded the coming of Kirigakure no jutsu. Swiftly a blinding, pervasive mist began to shroud the entire area, reaching fifty meters in every direction, Masuyo as its center. Although his earthen creation was reduced to a pile of broken rocks and earth, the dominance over the earth itself remained. That said, he felt Namyeol - who seemed to be unharmed for the most aside from minuscule burns- across the ground along with anything else that contained chakra within a 50 meter radius.

His position within the mist itself couldn't have been possibly known which -for now- labeled him as a safe man. Once more his hands weaved together a fair amount of handseals that immediately charged his hands with restorative properties. With both hands he slid them across his chest, stomach, ribs, and even his face, almost as if lathering himself in body lotion. Refreshed, the only word that could describe what he felt the moment his medical hands touched his body.

Though Namyeol couldn't initially see from the mist, he could smell Masuyo perfectly, knowing that he was up and alive had been enough realize that he'd be perfectly fine. For now, the two rested

The flying clone, with its advantageous position in the skies, witnessed the creation of the mist, seeing it only in its initial stages. The three bunshin came to a halt on the outskirts of the mist, but the paper continued with its flight, soaring upward already as the mist began to spread, the zenith fifty five meters, seals still held. With the fall, the creation of the mist, and the lengthy healing technique, the masses of paper had plenty of time to travel. It mattered no more where the enemy was.

Shikigami could finely control their papers, and this was an ability that the bunshin were sure to use to the fullest. None of them could see the foe, but the foe was unlikely to see the paper gathering above either. The first mass of paper was closest to the edge, the second towards the center, and the third near the far end, each approximately fifteen meters apart. The second and third wave took longer to reach their respective positions, but that was of little importance.

Immediately when each respective mass of paper was in position, the clone from which it originated revealed the purpose of the held seals. Ultimately, the paper turned into something seen before, a fierce rain, each mass of paper with a radius of fifteen meters, covering a total area of approximately forty five meters all together. Each falling spike was one meter wide and nine meters long, the fifteen meter radius not covered perfectly, despite the spikes of each respective cloud falling together. With the hand seals, two things were performed simultaneously. Each of the spikes was imbued with the fearsome explosive property.

Jiyuu had no choice but to unleash such chaos upon the Upper Yard. Were he more reserved, the foe will utterly slay him. Soldiers must make grim choices. The explosion was not triggered until several moments passed – that was, when the spikes of the first paper rain collapsed into the ground, ringing loudly due to their massive size. Immediately upon hearing that, the first set of spikes erupted. Then the second. Then the third. Each spike creating a six meter explosion. Perhaps the foe survived unscathed, should he somehow spot the rain through the mist, but the damage to Upper Yard was truly horrible.

The clones then resumed, performing yet another series of hand seals. One clone stood directly ahead of Jiyuu, fifty meters away. The second twenty meters to the left, and the last soared fifty five meters in the air.

As if he had to ask, a battle was obviously going on. Yet when screams erupted from the streets he knew it to be far from the norm. Rising from his seat he'd straighten his jacket as a new grin appeared across his face. This was not his city, not his home, he would not protect it, but he would seek out those who was behind all of this. Yet his cold blood burned for a good fight....

Tongue wetting his lips as he charged through the streets he'd see much destruction, yet no pause came from his feet. And as he ran the terrain went from normality, to slight damaged buildings, and then it was just hell. Nothing, but rubble with burnt and mangled bodies strewn about. Oh someone was brutal now weren't they? But, it was not until that point had he looked high up, to which he would now see two large bears in the distance, a larger one in the nearer distance, and three....angels? Tilting his head to the side he would not stop his run. Which in reality hadn't been that long of a run as he had originated about twenty meters from the three "angels, and by time he had stopped running he was five away, still at their blind sides. Tilting his head still he couldn't help, but shake the feeling that something was odd in the air. Stabbing the air itself with his tongue his eyes narrowed. Yes, something more was behind the veil, something bound by fate.

With a cloud of mist ahead, in front of the angels, he'd merely watch for now. Though he was prepared to attack.

Healing himself, his time of rest and recovery was short lived as a follow up assault seemingly launched. However, before his opponents attack reached him, he managed to reverse the effects of his wounds, as for his clothing, well, they were essentially dead. The burns lifted from his very flesh as if to be some supernatural miracle, however, he was not done preparing himself, not nearly enough what was needed to survive. Relinquishing his own sense of sight, he needed another means of locating and pinpointing anything within his mist. Thankfully with his knowledge of the earth being so immense anything along the ground was detectable, as for the air, not entirely. He had one method and one method only to pinpoint any anomalies that surrounded him which weren't along the ground.

The possibility that something else had been coming his was relatively high, given that his opponent seemed to carry a gift of keeping his attacks invisible - which through physical evidence also carried explosive properties- it was likely they'd come a second time to finish what they started. His third, spiritual eye activated, near-instantly detecting all things chakra within a 50 meter radius. In and instant he felt the first wave which had already been plummeting down upon his position. Picking up the faintest chakra signatures, each spike that fell within his spiritual field of vision was noted to be a potential thread. In size they were minuscule, but they sliced away at whatever hope Masuyo still clung to by coming in volley's.

"This isn't good! Namyeol Watch yourself from above again!"

A single seal (.50 seconds) came to life as he damn near instantaneously seeped into the the earth itself, like a five would dive into its water domain. Moving at three meters per second he distanced himself from the surface about 6 meters down and forward whist deactivating his third eye. Using his spiritual sense proved to be quite draining, but useful in the end.

Namyeol, who'd been warned was light on his feet, running forward faster than any man could have ran. Blindly he went forward at impressive speeds on all fours, truly a beast of speed given he was a grounder typed create, moving along the ground with efficiency and grace was no difficult task. No opponents had been noted to be towards their immediate rear, and what enemies were positioned in such a way were being delt with by Ao and Dayo.

Running along the old, toppled mud wall that fell moments earlier, he ran opposite (towards the caster) to the incoming spikes and heard them striking the ground one by one. But one thing seemed different, there was one who carried a scent, alive and thrumming with life, unlike the unpalatable stench of death. "Gotcha" Namyeol exclaimed as he ran forward six meters per second (double the speed of regular shinobi seemed reasonable on all fours), he advanced 30 meters in a span of five seconds while charging his chakra which would only herald another great, fiery flash.

Description: An upgrade to Shinjuu Zanshu, this underground variation grants the user movement whilst underground. Additionally, they can also emerge from below with their weapons drawn, allowing them to attack without being seen. After a few short seals, the user merely sinks below, and can remain there for a small amount of time.

Something was afoot. The ground rumbled. Jiyuu could not see the beast, but thankfully he felt the shaking of the earth’s caused by the fearsome bears run. A beast so massive surely had that effect. Immediately upon sensing that, Jiyuu’s hand entered the dance of seals, completed after only half a second . He rose directly upwards, wings carrying ¹ his lithe figure at ten meters per second. Keeping distance was his only chance at survival. As he rose, he reached into his pouch and pulled forth six kunai, each tagged. He simply let paper flutter forth from his body and wrap around each one of them. The kunai, covered in paper, darted towards the fog.

The beast smelled Jiyuu, but he did not know. The Hokage considered flying high into the skies the only option, for he could see neither foe. While he could feel Namyeol’s movement, the man was uncertain why that bear was even here and whether it’s existence depended on Masuyo. Flying high was his only option. The mighty bear smelled Jiyuu, but not the clone standing on the outskirts of the mist directly in its path. The clone, too, took several steps back simultaneously with Jiyuu’s initiation of the hand seals that caused the wings to grow. That clone’s hand seals reached completion as it was eleven meters from the outskirts of the fog. But it held the seals, waiting for something to reveal itself. Likely, that bunshin would be the first thing revealed to the bear once it stepped through the fog The bunshin had something in mind.

A second clone stood twenty meters to the left of the aforementioned one. With the completion of its seals, which already begun some time ago, a large mass of paper fluttered forth from its body into the cloud. These papers turned into twenty senbon ², each 10 meters long and five meters wide, darting directly towards the center of the mist as they spread over an area of . It did not know whether Masuyo was still there, or even if he was alive. But should he chose to rise from the earth’s, unbeknownst to the Hokage or his clones, the senbon were eager to impale him as they rushed in from above towards where the summoner stood previously, position pointed out by the flying bunshin. Even if he does not rise, the senbon will tear several meters into the earth. That clone, too, hand something in mind for it held the tiger seal.

The third clone, the one hovering above the battlefield on wings, also targeted the center of the battlefield, still covered by mist. Position of Masuyo still in its mind before the mist spread the area, it send forth two thin sheets of paper, completely inconspicuous. As they were guided blindly, their flight was not exact. The first sheet landed five meters to the left of where Masuyo previously stood and the second landed seven meters to the right. These pieces of parchment triggered automatically ³ if one comes within two meters to erupt into a twelve meter explosion. This clone, too, held a single seal.

At the end of his flight, Jiyuu reached a height of fifty meters. This foe was truly formidable. With each passing moments, the Hokage's chance of victory lessened. For he was pushed back ferociously. Fortunately, the kunai wrapped in paper reached the outskirt's of the fog, hovering where the first clone stood previously. (The one towards which the bear was charging directly)

The eyes of enemies or possible allies had caught sight of him, yet Yuu felt no worry. After all if they had turned out to be enemies they'd have him to deal with and that was no simple task, especially if they wished for his death. Grinning at the thought he'd even let out a bit of laughter before turning his attention back on the battle at hand. The ground shook once more, though noticeably more violent and though it's cause was something ignorant to Yuu it'd soon show itself. And it came in the form of a giant bear with red markings as it was seemingly birthed from the mist itself, barreling forward it looked quite intimidate, albeit no where near that of the Snake Clan. Rubbing his hands together he'd watch on to see if the bear would come at him, or if it's fight would be with the flying men or the grounded ones, whom Yuu was fifteen meters away from the clone on the ground that was possibly only eleven meters away from the mist as it backed away.

He was prepared more so for defending himself then anything. He was no idiot, you don't go joining into someone's fight without knowing anything about the conflict. Taking a few steps forward though as he became more and more curious of the odd feeling in the air his sea-green eyes scanned the battlefield. Massive damage had been done, but who was to blame and why? Four men were within his vision, some with wings, others without. All varied in appearance so he had no reason to think that they were all clones, which they were. Was it just them against the bear?...No, the presence he felt was not one that belonged to the men before him nor the massive bear, but of another, though he saw no one...odd. This was not his battle though. As such he'd vanish from sight from all, but those who had chakra sensing abilities. In reality he hadn't moved, but rather reached into his genetics and vanished from plain sight as he stood perfectly still, watching from the veil he was within.

This means the camouflage will not change when the user is moving; only when they have stopped.

Masuyo merely continue to swim through the essence of earth, 6 meters deep was he hit a sharp turn which guided him on a straightforward path. Moving three meters per second he managed to cover a fair amount of distance (15 meters) as he continued to feel and detect all things chakra related that remained fastened to the Earth's surface. Even when traversing through a sea of rock and dirt, breathing was made impossible, however, through fine training and the refinement of his art, he learned control his breathing in a manner where it allowed him to hold it for remarkably long durations of time whilst underground.

Namyeol continued his assault, with his chakra previously gathered and prepared, he unleashed a new technique that his opponent -as of yet- had not seen while coming to a complete stop. Truthfully there was no physical way to see this attack as it was merely a wave of air that could have possibly been mistaken for Fuuton. A quick pull of air allowed Namyeol to unleash a mighty, gargantuan roar that rocked even the earth beneath him. Unfortunately for his opponents that hadn't been just an average roar, nay, beneath the guise of a simple roar, it was something far greater; it produced a howling gust of heated air. That gust spread outwardly (50m / 10mps) from Namyeol's parted maw, however, he refused to keep it limited. Instead of aiming it in one direction, his roar continued as his head turned left, right, and finally upward.

It was almost as if seeing a dragon release a continuous flame of virulent flames, burning everything to his immediate front (180 degrees) to hell ! He knew not the existence of the clones, but given the invisible rain of attacks that he experience along side Masuyo just moments ago, it was better to cover every area to his front. Having trust and confidence that Masuyo would cover his rear, he feared not the possibility of being blindsided.

Those caught within the other half of the blast will recieve substantial burns, teary-eyed vision, and trouble breathing.
Description: After forming the hand seals, the user will extend both arms forward with their palms facing outwards- charging those appendages with heat within a few mere seconds. With their target aimed, the user will then release a howling gust of extremely heated air from both their arms, shooting it forwards with such power it issues a low concussion into the air. The wave of heat sweeps over the area the user had pointed their arms towards, lighting all flammable objects (like paper) and reddening the skin of all those caught in its path with burns.

The flying bunshin began its seals several moments ago, and upon completion –which was at the same time the wave shot forth- the purpose of the seals became unraveled with numerous explosions that roared in the distance. The clone imbued the senbon in the grounds with the explosive blessing ⁴. All twenty senbon exploded in a twelve meter radius, tearing into the surroundings and the earth’s. Masuyo moved beneath the earth, and perhaps the chakra sensing abilities allowed him to evade the explosions – that all depended on his positioning. Certainly he will sense the senbon, as they were imbued with chakra, but the explosion was something he could not sense – except perhaps a slight increase in the chakra they held, a fine detail. Five shuriken of paper, each ten meters wide, rushed forth from the clones figure and descended into the mist. The shuriken flew in an arc, a five meter distance between each of them. These shuriken could only cause minimal harm, but damage was not their purpose. Rather, the clone listened for a sound – any sound of a shuriken connecting with the massive bear. Already after their first second of flight, the shuriken were imbued with the defensive property that made them resistant to the flames.


The two clones standing on the ground completed their techniques, but the effort was futile, for the fierce flames burned the Shikigami’s parchment – both what they created and the clones themselves. Not only did the first wave burn the clones and their creation, but also the balls of paper wrapped around the kunai at the edge of the mist. The flying close was at a height of fifty-five meters and therefore out of the waves reach.

During his flight, Jiyuu espied that macabre happening. He had not yet reached the full height of his flight. At forty meters, the Hokage was exposed, but had some moments to prepare before the first wave finally struck – he only knew that preparation was necessary due to seeing the clones burned so swiftly. Previously, the foe was wise to cover the skies with flames. Likely, this was no different. Moments before the first wave connected with Jiyuu, a thin wall of paper rose before him ¹, beginning at the head. Unfortunately it covered only five feet, and therefore the lower half of the Hokage’s legs were exposed. He groaned in pain as the heated wave burned the legs. In a last, desperate attempt at protection, he pulled the legs up, wings still beating to keep him afloat. The wall was durable enough to prevent the Hokage from being knocked back. The second wave struck, gradually burning through the wall created by the desperate defensive maneuver. It lasted just long enough to protect from the second wave. Unfortunately for Jiyuu, the damage of the first heat wave scarred his legs. On a more positive note, due to the wall covering his face, Jiyuu suffered from neither the trouble with breathing nor the teary eyes. Walking, though, would be rather painful – thankfully the man could fly.

Jiyuu completed his ascension to a height of fifty meters, and by that time, the seal less technique reached completion. A layer of paper armor covered his body in entirety, ² protecting both from physical strikes and the elements of water, fire, and lightning. To a limited extend of course. As the armor was forming, Jiyuu’s hands moved in a flash to form something seen before, five paper grenades no larger than a fist. They descended simultaneously. As this was paper originating from Jiyuu’s body, he could sense its movement, guide it even in the mist. Of course he had no means of knowing what was in the mists. The flying clone pointed into the general direction of where the roar was heard. All five grenades descended rapidly I a line. The first was erupted after two seconds, the second after three, the third, fourth and fifth after three seconds, each an explosion with a radius of twelve meters- hopefully it had time to reach the area from which the roar was heard. Jiyuu nor the clone could pinpoint its exact origin, therefore the grenades flight was largely approximated. If of course one of the Shuriken connected, and the bear yelped out in pain, the position would be even easier to approximate. With the bears enormous size, Jiyuu was certain that at least one of the grenades could hit its target. Upon their creation, he began a new set of hand seals.

As his fingers wove, he roared loudly,”Let us end this fight. There is no use in continuing. We will simply continue and continue. Instead, I have an offer. Let us end this, truly. We have destroyed so much of this city but barely touched one another.”

[/i] The Hokage hoped that the series of explosions that rung in the mist, twenty five in total, would help to persuade the fierce, bear tamer.

Continuing to hide within plain sight, or rather being invisible in the same location he had been in, Yuu's eyes would occasionally drift to the battle in the distance of another district and back to the one before him. Both were intense from the damage being done everywhere, but the only thing that really caught his attention was the continuous feeling within the air. It clung to his his body tightly, leaving him a feeling of being stuck within sand. Yet, his seemingly cool demeanor would fade if only slightly as he could literally feel the lashing tongue of an incoming heat wave as his tongue hit the air.

And while he loved a good sun soaking, he was not one to take possible burns from an invisible incoming heat wave. Teeth grit as he quickly ducked and rolled to his left and took to crouching behind a piece of rubble that was twice his size in every direction. Using it as a shield he took to remaining still once more, his camouflage perfect once again. His tongue would test the air until he felt that it was safe to watch the men and the bear continue to wage war at the price of Lightning Country's capital. Closing his eyes for a moment he calmed his breathing, he was safe from the burning heat wave.

He was no coward, but he had no other way around it, he'd be forced to wait as he held no jutsu within his arsenal to get around the wave or avoid it in any other way shape or form. It felt odd to him that after all of these years he hadn't developed as much as he should have. But, who was to blame? The government of Amegakure who he followed so loyally, or himself for being so caught up within the mission they had given him that he had forgotten to exand his prowess as a shinobi since The First War had broken out and reached his home before destroying it? "Tsk."[/color]

Submerged six meters beneath the earth, Masuyo managed to accumulate a total traveling distance of twenty-one meters so far, just nine meters from where Namyeol came to a complete half. Below, he felt the concussive force that rocked the earth that sent shock-waves down past Masyuo's position. For the most part he remained unharmed, however, he hadn't been exactly sure if it'd been ok to say the same for Namyeol who was above ground, facing the assault head-on. Undergound, he felt the explosions that blossomed both behind himself and Namyeol as the two continued forward. Even deep within the earth itself the mighty sound of Namyeol's battle-cry reached his ears with ease, and having known Namyeol for quite some time, it'd been possible that it was one of his many attacks.

Unfortunately. . .

The unexpected happened.

Whatever it was that was fired off in Namyeol's direction seemed to have carried carried some kind of resistance to his howling gust of heated winds, evident by the fact they he flinched in pain after having been peppered with an array of shuriken. Along his face and his arms a number of shuriken seemed to have found their desired target, most likely launched blindly out of desperation. He attempted to take off but only to have been interrupted by a series of explosions that rained from above (and the shurikens?). Without a shadow of a doubt, Namyeol took the full brunt of the explosions that managed to claim his furry flesh, however, if person behind such power expected it to completely remove Namyeol from the fight.

A foolish man he was.

Yes Namyeol could indeed be hurt, however, his body, power, and defenses rivaled with that of the fabled tailed-beast. The sage staggered left and right as sirens rang throughout his ears and tendrils of smoke billowed from his body. Whomever this man was, he commended him for having the power to reduce Namyeol to such a stand, not many wielded the power necessary to accomplish such a feat. Like before Masuyo heard the concussive force from the fiery explosion, yet, the more recent one seemed to be frighteningly close. Namyeol?! Now only 6 meters from Namyeol, Masuyo reached the surface of the earth where he magnificently shot out of a hole like a dolphin would to a large mass of water. With a couple of frontal flips he landed upon the surface once more to leave only 3 meters of space between himself and Namyeol's righter most side.

"C'mon old man, on your feet, I'm pretty sure you've got some fight left in you. . ."

"You dare speak to me in that way? Respect your elders boy!"

Namyeol, still covered in smoke, raised up to his feet while Masuyo scaled his body with chakra laced to the bottom-side of his sandals. He scaled up Namyeol's back to reach his shoulder, from there he activated his spiritual eye once more to 'see' where his opponent(s) were. There were several, yet he could not tell which one was which, luckily he had other methods. A voice called out to him, and by the time he started Namyeol stood near his maximum height. He stood up upon his hind legs yet, maintained a slight bend in his knees which only let him stand at a height of 45 meters, 5 meters below. The sage's nose was hard at work picking up the same scent he had done just moments ago.

"I see a couple in the air along with a few others but I can't tell which one is the real him."

"I can only smell one, which is who i've been going after who now seems to be right above us."

A quick, single seal dispelled his hidden mist technique, revealing Masuyo standing upon Namyeol's shoulder, looking up at what he could have only described as Kouketsu Uchiha. His eyes, wide, fixated upon the man who left him defeated within the deserts of Kaze no kuni but also blessed him with Namyeol and his family.

"K-Kouketsu?! Why-"

"Look closely boy! That isn't Kouketsu, this impostor carries no scent, let alone Kouketsu's distinctive smell."

He looked down with a face of disappointment after having been told that wasn't Kouketsu. Aside from rescuing his sister, meeting Kouketsu was something he desired deeply. Meeting the worlds most notorious shinobi and being trusted with his precious summons that helped him during his violent campaign against the villages. Looking to his left and then to the right, casting his confusion to the wayside, he looked back up towards this floating man who offered to end this fight.

"I don't think I can end this fight. if you and I stop fighting, that's all that will happen, it will solve nothing. I cannot stop until this city is in utter destruction. Judging from that headband you aren't even from this country! Why are you meddling in business that isn't yours!? "

The mist dispersed, revealing the scene of utter chaos that sprawled the city beneath. Debris spread the grounds, the scent of the dust intermingling with the nauseating odor of burned corpses. Numerous of the citizen were crushed beneath rocks, blood splattered onto the grounds. Explosions tore the bodies of many apart, limbs and guts staining the earth. Screams rung in the distance, yelps of terror at the horror unleashed up Kami no Shima. Two titans fought on this day. Masuyo , a master of the earth with mighty bears in his steed, and Jiyuu, the Hokage of the leaf, a paper fiend. In combination, their fearsome abilities sowed the seeds of destruction, leaving much of the Upper Yard in ruins. Hundreds of lives, dozens of structures, those all diminished without the slightest guilt it seemed.

Intense fires burned Jiyuu’s legs several moments ago, and with the adrenaline of battle flowing no more, the pain registered. Gritting his teeth, the Hokage’s steel grey eyes shifted downward to look at the legs, heart pumping furiously. The man was afraid of what he could see. A sense of relief washed over Jiyuu as he saw that the wound was not fatal. The heat wave burned both skin and flesh, but nerves remained. Hence the pain was so infuriating. With gritted teeth, Jiyuu descended to hover directly parallel to Masuyo, forty meters away.

”Truthfully, your reasons do not matter much to me. Evacuate the citizen, then destroy the Upper Yard. Is that truly so difficult? Or does your master want you to gleefully murder the innocent?

[/i] Jiyuu’s words rang with a certain irony, for he was responsible for approximately half the destruction in the surrounding area. ”I fight-“[/color he came to a short pause, inhaling sharply. -“because I must. There is no grandiose, impactful truth. I simply fight here because I must." the Hokage spoke his words sharply. Jiyuu lived a rather pathetic existence, for he defined himself in and through battle.

The foe Jiyuu fought was truly formidable. Not only did the weaving of Masuyo’s hands shape and morph the very earth – an ability utterly terrifying by itself- but the boy called for bears, fierce warriors of nature. Masuyo created titans from the ground and ordered the largest of these bears, Namyeol to control the fiercest of flames. The foe, despite being so much younger than Jiyuu, certainly carried a might greater than that of this Shikigami.

”Look at the chaos we have caused. As we fought, our intention was to harm one another, yet we murdered hundreds. The Upper Yard is in ruins. Do you not even understand the terror the hapless stragglers beneath us feel? Why not give them time to leave, then destroy the city. Perhaps at the moment you care little for the blood on your hands. But as the years pass, you will look upon this day with regret.”[/i]

Jiyuu, as a veteran of both the First and Second wars, looked upon the death of numerous innocent, at times even being responsible. In the heat of battle, when the thrill of facing death each and every moment overwhelmed the senses, none of that seemed to matter. All of that changed when the wars ended. Jiyuu was left without a purpose, and as he strode through the world, the weight of the men and women he murdered plummeted upon his shoulders. The Shikigami feared that the same shall happen to Masuyo. The world did not need another man like Jiyuu.

Jiyuu was fourty-five meters in the air and forty meters away from Masuyo, but his intention was not to fight. The bunshin modeled after Kouketsu was in the same position as before. Jiyuu made no attempts at launching an offensive – he appeared entirely peaceful at the time.

”Make your choice now. Wait until the citizen flee and resume with your destruction or continue now – dabble in that sickening glee as you slay those who cannot defend themselves. If it is the latter, then I will remain. And I swear that I will drag the two of us into the deepest pits of hell.”[/i]

And then that voice beg]an to echo through his mind. "Impossible..."[/color] While at first he refused the mere thought of it, he soon came to acceptance that it was possibly that person. But, could it be? The voice was so aged and mature, had it truly been so long? Raising a brow he'd rise from his position and step back out into the open, though only a few feet from his rubble shield. Tilting his head he'd release his camouflage and gaze towards the distance. Two flying men, one bear acting bipedal with...with a figure atop it who had orange hair Straightening his neck back up his eyes would narrow just a bit. And as the voices of the two carried on, at the range he was at mere whispers, Yuu would smile in his response. So his brother had grown up to be like his older brother, how delightful.

Already believing or rather knowing he was the cause of this he gave himself a pat on the back mentally as he began walking sprinting forward, his left hand reaching away from his body just briefly to release several snakes as he continued on his path forward. And as he drew closer and closer the appearance of his oldest younger brother was confirmed, it was definitely Masuyo. With his released snakes taking to traveling forward as well beneath the rubble, one would find it's home beneath the front of his jacket, ready to spring forth at a moments notice.

Sliding to a halt when he was five meters behind the man known as kouketsu uchiha...yet no heat came from the man's body...a clone of some sorts? And while he was a short distance from the man's blind side, the man was still well out of his range within the air. "Oh, has little Masuyo grown up already? Brother, I do believe it's been quite a long time, but not that long."[/color] A grin appeared across his face as his eyes narrowed, yes his brother had aged, but beyond the time they had been separated, if only by a small fraction. Turning his eyes to the flying men who opposed his brother he spoke with confidence and grace. "This will be your only warning...leave now, old man...And take your friend with you."[/color] Letting his tongue hit the air as if to stab it he'd let out a high hiss. "Or we could finish thisssss."[/color]

Fingers, lose and relaxed, ferociously clinched into a tight fist as the hovering man before his very eyes gave his riposte. Although Masuyo previously inquired about the mans very presence within a country that had nothing to do with him, he -childishly- did not expect a response, rather he cared little for one. In the end, he listened to the words that escaped from the mans parted lip, hearing him go on about evacuating civilians from the city itself to prevent any more innocent casualties. It made sense, hell, it made all the sense in the world, but why now?

"Are you insane?! You propose to let the civilians leave the city after you've contributed to their many deaths?! You've no right to tell me to evacuate these people. Besides! most of them are gone now!"

His teeth grit in anger as he went on even further, making a second statement. He looked around at the chaos he caused, spilled blood of women, men, and children, rocks and broken slabs of earth laid across the city for what seemed to be miles. He did this? "The Upper Yard is in ruins. Do you not even understand the terror the hapless stragglers beneath us feel?", fist clenched event tighter, his head tilted down as his eyes closed shut as if trying to mentally deny what he'd just done. "Perhaps at the moment you care little for the blood on your hands. But as the years pass, you will look upon this day with regret." Arms trembling in anger, his head snapped back up towards Jiyuu, meeting gaze once again.

"You think I don't know this?! I'mre pretty sure the horrific actions I've displaced today will haunt me, but this isn't entirely my fault. If it were for you god damned Major countries none of this shit would have happe-"

An alarming cough interrupted his speech, managed to cough up a fair amount of blood into his right hand. The pain reduced him down to a single knee as he looked into his hand with a confused look upon his face. He hadn't felt sick, nor was he
'actually' ill, but little did he know, that training within the sage world had taken a toll upon his body, being force to rapidly grow in short periods of time. That training process, albeit strenuous, shaped his body in to the perfect weapon to house Senjutsu Chakra. In truth he knew of the consequences, but to have happened so soon, that was something truly unexpected. Momentarily weakened, a voice cut him off, a voice that sent chills straight down his spine. It was familiar.

"Nii-san?! W-what are you doing *cough* here?!"

Trickles of blood ran down his lips as he slowly returned to a full stand, his eyes and head now turned to focus upon his older brother.

Both the Hokage and the clone moved their fingers in a flash, the purpose rather subtle as the wings upon their backs were strengthened. Jiyuu’s steel grey eyes narrowed upon hearing the Kage-Hebi, vein on his left temple bulging, head turning to look at the source of the voice. With clenched fists he spoke in a growl, words dripping with fury. ”Boy…”

[/i] he said to Yuu, right hand reaching out to point at the scene of wretched destruction sprawling the Upper Yard,”Do you see what happened here? You do not want to threaten me.”[/i]

Masuyo was reasonable, for word of the battle will spread quickly from the survivors. These two men murdered scores, if not hundreds, and the world will surely look upon them with the greatest of disgust. The sin of murder basked Jiyuu, damning him to the deepest pits of the hell. The Hokage, in a last desperate attempt at redemption, ceased the fight. It was too late. There was no redemption for this Shikigami. For that, he had descended too low.

”Slaying the remaining survivors will be a waste. I am certain that many have already escaped. Inevitably, words will spread the lands. This murder ends here. It will change nothing.”[/i]

The pumping of the adrenaline ceased. Instincts guided Jiyuu no more. Everything came crashing down. The reality of the situation. The pain. The sheer madness of what occurred today. Jiyuu felt his chest constrict , a bizarre sensation – not an actual pain, but a simple, uncomforting pressure. The Shikigami’s mind has truly become distorted over the decades. Quite frankly, he was delusional. Yes, he murdered countless civilians, but he also defended the city. In that twisted mind of his, that justified the actions taken of this day. Of course Jiyuu still felt guilt, but was certain that his actions were justified.

”Then tell me, what do we major countries do? I am the Hokage. You can only change the world by confronting the problem, not destroying those suffering from it. You are mistaken, to an extent. The problem lies not solely in the actions of our major countries. Not all all. This is all the Daimyo’s doing.”[/i]

The pain of the burn of his legs intensified and for the slightest moment grew so intense that Jiyuu’s thoughts were interrupted. Wincing, he took a deep breath, steel grey eyes looking down at the wounds. This was not good. He can still fly, and walk, but these scars will taint his legs forever. Damn them. Damn this all. Damn the world.

The single word caused the serpent to burst out into nigh high pitched laughter, cutting off anything else the rugged looking man had to say to Yuu directly. Though within moments Yuu's laughter would fade and he'd turn his attention back upon his little brother. "Nii-san?! W-what are you doing *cough* here?!"[/color][/i] Raising a brow Yuu would chuckle a bit as he had been doing so on and off in the passing event of things before speaking to his brother as he always had, in a slight way of putting him down. "After all these years...after abandoning me and our home that's all you have to say to me little brother?! Tsk, tsk."[/color] He knew the words would hit home, yet while his words were meant to cut, they were not meant to severe the bond between them. It was just how Yuu treated his siblings, harshly.

Ignoring the babbled words that came from the apparent Hokage, Yuu would merely shrug his shoulders. "Remember brother, remember who were the ones who attacked our home all those years ago. It was the Hidden Leaf was it not?!...The ones who caused so much carnage...Brother, finish what they started."[/color] Laughter echoed through his mind, his eyes directly gazing at his brother's own.
