Baku Suishouha (Bursting Water Collision Waves)
Rank: B
Type: Offensive / Suiton Ninjutsu
Range: 0 - 40 meters
Special: The waves are delivered through the user's mouth and proceed to rapidly flood out an entire area. When the user is ‘surfing’ the waves, their movement speed temporarily doubles. Flooding depends on how long the user spends time spewing water, and as a result, amounts are measured by height, width and length.
* Quarter turn spill: 10m x 10m x 10m
* Half turn spill: 20m x 20m x 20m
* Full turn spill: 40m x 40m x 40m
Description: Baku Suishouha is an offensive ninjutsu technique utilizing Suiton. After forming the needed handseals, the user will take a deep breath and appear to expel water from their mouth or gullet. This will then expand into a large volume of water, propelled forwards at high speeds, resulting in powerful initial blasting damage, as well as plenty of water to flood a small village, break down large barriers, or put out large fires. Lastly, if the user wishes, they can push a bit of additional chakra into their feel so that they can essentially walk along the water and even ride it as if they were surfing.
Domain: Suiton.? ☄ 100exp
So, he began to level the wave first, to balance it so when he moved it, it wouldn't go out of control and sweep him away. When he felt that the balance was right, he compelled it to move forward towards him. Slowly at first, but then in a speed that almost matched a blur. It was milliseconds before he rushed it forward that he jumped up into the air, relinquishing his hand seal in mid-air, to land on the top of the rushing wave. To his surprise and joy, he landed it safely and stopped the wave in place just in time to do so. The chakra buzzed around his feet. He was actually performing the water walking technique to stay afloat! For now, it seemed like his plan had worked. But that would all change in a second.
Suddenly, his left foot sunk straight through the water. It seemed, as controlled as the wave was, its ever changing current within still remained unstable and his chakra control hadn't been formed to adhere to those circumstances just yet. With a slight groan, he would pull his left foot out of the water and focus more chakra under said foot. To reinforce his water walking technique and try to come up with a plan before his entire body sunk through the current. But as he stood there, on that frozen yet ever rushing wave, he had to wave his arms to simply keep his balance and had no time to focus on changing his chakra control. Things, quite frankly, weren't looking so great, and falling under was a dire possibility.
Forcing himself to ignore the fear of falling, Atlas reissued the final hand seal of the jutsu to anchor his chakra to his core and redirect it towards his feet. The energies there would give him a good idea of the wave's chaotic currents within and how he could grow accustomed to those currents. But he needed to adapt on the fly in order to get this right. He needed, instead of creating a flat barrier of chakra at the base of his feet, to form a ripple-like barrier instead. This ripple-like barrier of chakra would fit in with the wave's inner structure and energy like the perfect puzzle piece. But it seemed to have been too late.
