Special: Flickering is near-instantaneous forward movement, meaning the user will rush almost instantly to wherever they are facing as chakra pushes their legs to inhumane levels. The user can flicker once per thread, plus once more each time retrained. One cannot attack or perform techniques during Shunshin.
Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique, it allows a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed - to an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. Such a feat is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds they would otherwise be unable to reproduce. In the end, the user will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly should they need it. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.

Hirihi would find herself in a tight spot where she wouldn't be able to do anything. The fireballs would do nothing to the large wave of snakes that would appear out of his mouth. The wave would come close to her and things would seem to slow down for her as she tried to think of any way to evade the attack. It was too large to run from, to wide to run around, and the idea of running through it would prove pointless. This would be where she knew she was at the end of the fight. She was outmatched, and she was definitely out of her league. She had tried, though, and all she had wanted to do was prove that she wasn't a push over. It was hard to beat a Chuunin that knew what he was doing, though.

Not even attempting to dodge the large waves of snakes that were coming at her, she raised her hands and released the chakra that had gathered in her hand. Covering her face, her upper arms blocking part of her upper torso, the wave of snakes would hit her and cause her to fall back. She was being smothered in the large pile of snakes. They were slimy, slightly,a nd their bodies felt strange against her skin. It was especially cold, as well, being buried in the pile of snakes from his attack.

Using the space that she had, she tried to keep her breathing calm as she looked up for some kind of light. There was definitely no light at the end of this particular tunnel for her. She'd have to admit defeat with nothing left to her but the utter shame of defeat. She had to admit, though, she was definitely proud she had lasted as long as she had. This guy was just an ass. That's the one thought that she kept trying to tell herself. He was just an ass with nothing better to do than humiliate her. Maybe there would be some powerful lesson at the end of this, but she wasn't seeing it. A technique of this rank was definitely far out of her league.

"You win, alright?!" She shouted, hoping that he could hear her through the barrage of snakes. As she lay in the pile of snakes, she wondered if maybe there could have been a way for her to avoid the attack. If there had been a way, there was something she wasn't obviously seeing. All her techniques were rooted in healing. She was just beginning to expand into a more attack oriented style. His training wasn't doing her much good, though, as she found herself unable to do much against him. She'd remember how he fought, though, and find holes in his attack strategy. This wasn't over...

Hirihi would wait patiently for him to undo the technique. As she waited, all she could feel was a hatred building up in her stomach for the man. He knew that she stood no honest chance against her. Why use such a definitively big move against her? He was nothing more than a show off, and she was tempted to speak to the Kage to have him change from her roster. She would hear him utter the lone statement, and her mind would light on fire with anger. He may have been her team leader, but he was going to die now. Struggling and pulling herself through the snakes as fast as she could manage, she would take a few minutes to get herself free of the pile of snakes.

Once she was free of the snakes, able to breathe without having to feel the snakes pressing their weight down against her, she looked around the area for a brief moment to see if he was still around. Figures... She thought to herself. He was afraid that she was going to be furious and he fled. Or, he just liked to piss off people. Looking back at the pile of snakes, she wondered how she could've been able to avoid the attack better. She knew that there were people in the world that had learned how to use their chakra to give themselves a boost in their movement. Thinking on this a moment, she remembered how the chakra gates worked. You opened up the different gates that held your chakra flow and the resulting charge would allow you to become stronger, faster, and much more deadly.

So, if all she had to do was use her chakra to basically supercharge her muscles, she could easily do something to move at that kind of speed. Because it was something that didn't require a molding of the chakra into a specific form, she didn't see the need in performing handseals. Focusing her thoughts on the idea of the technique, she used her anger from the previous attack and let loose a torrent of chakra into her legs. The resulting movement after charging her muscles with the chakra was a very strange sensation. One second, she was standing still. The next moment she was standing two feet closer to the pile of snakes.

Raising a brow, she grinned and thought on how best to train this particular technique. Standing exactly ten meters away from the pile of snakes, she prepped herself just as she had before, but this time, she focused more on just the chakra usage than her anger. Once she felt the same feeling of time slowing down and her body speeding up, Hirihi Moved rapidly forward as far as the chakra would let her go. With her body immediately slowing, she stood exactly ten meters in front of where she had previously been. Staring forward at the large pile of snakes, Hirihi grinned. That was how she was going to avoid the snakes next time. She was going to use this high speed movement to give herself distance from it. If she trained it enough, she'd be able to do it multiple times with her chakra control being a bit higher than before. THis would also prove useful for those situations where she was definitely out of her league.

Taking her kunai from the ground where she had thrown it before, she pocketed the unbroken item and left the park. She had things to do and she was tired of looking at those damn snakes.
