The unsavory sound of whispering winds and riving metals brimmed through the vapid trees Kumogakre’s outskirt forest as an array of shurikens sliced through the air, finding their rightful path upon a hulking tree. Not seconds later had the hidden Uchiha landed in an absorptive crouch upon a protruding four story tree branch. A few stray bangs lingered over his eyes, screaming with the covet to get stronger, strong enough to compensate for his lack of the sharingan by honing his normal eyes. His breathing patterns grew heavy from enfeeblement, training for the past several hours consecutively without relief. "This isn't enough, not even close! I've got to push myself harder if I want to even stand a chance against the other villages at the chuunin exams" Not seconds later after his words met its imminent occlusion had his hands formed a succession of Tenjou no Shuuren (Discipline of Heaven and Earth) stances as his mind was purged of disinclination.

He leapt upward with a mighty jump as an explosion of wind dissipated beneath his take off point before he turned his horizontally and arched his body backwardly he began striking the incessant plethora of thick boughs that surrounded him. He destroyed them in seconds with various aerial strikes ranging from spinning round house kicks, crescent kicks, spinning back fist, and much much more. Ayumu satiated his lungs with controlled breathing patterns as he conserved some small amounts of energy and oxygen.

Upon sending both tree and bark asunder with the power of Ayumu's own body his body unwillingly commenced to descend. He landed upon the bough in which he initially leapt from, however, this time his movements would have carried him in the opposite direction. With great finesse he spun and flipped down the bough of stairs, coming to a athletic crouch as he landed upon the earthen floor. He peered upward into the atmosphere as the suns oppressive rays slammed against his flesh. "Wow...that was alot higher then I expected."

Leaping from tree to tree he aimed to do his every other day activity, which was locate other young shinobi who were training, as a means to aide in their training or give them a gift of extra energy through his clan techniques. Smiling as always he ducked and dodged tree limbs that would block his path, yawning his last yawn of the day he glanced towards the sky, it was clear outside and pretty hot, which meant plenty of shinobi would be out training. Yet the questions that fell into his lap took over his mind, who would he run into? Would he know them? Would they need help?

Shrugging his shoulders he continued bounding through the trees at speeds a non shinobi couldn't even dream of producing. "I wonder if anyone is injured and requires medical attention...hmmm, possibly, sometimes these little ones get a bit worked up during sparring matches and the like..."

[/i] Smirking he slightly shook his head, they were all the shinobi world's future. But, Kumogakure was supposed to lead this new world, this new generation. And he would aide in this in any form that he could.

It would be upon the exiting of his mind into the real world he would notice a small boy in a small clearing. Pausing in his leaps he watched him for a few moments, he was training hard, and what was a better way of training alone? Training with a partner. Dropping from his own tree he landed crouched slightly before standing to his full height and speaking.

"Hey there, need a training partner?"[/color][/left][/blockquote]

With unsurmountable amounts of swag Ayumu came to a perfect stand as a reflexive hand uplifted to shield his eyes from the sun. Its liquid hot beams was enough to produce yet another annoying expiration of air from the oy before he spoke to himself, "Sweating already? I mus-" His words came to a premature halt at the brief and sudden approach of a new presence, one that he'd been unfamiliar of. The elder of the two neared the younger with a silent landing that emitted a brief billow of chakra whicih encircled Ayumu. Heard and felt by careful senses Ayumu's gaze shifted momentarily, fixing its sights upon the man that stood before him, a fellow kumogakure citizen and shinobi.

"Hey there, need a training partner?"

As he turned towards the newcomer and the suns rays, flashes of identity came to bear in the moments to pass. His origins would easily be traced had the man gave notice to the uchiha clan crest that exhibited prominently upon the forefronts of his gray, short sleeved shirt and at the edges of his black shorts which expanded come inches beneath his knees. His shins, mantled with black leg warmers, adjusted themselves to a more comfortable stand as Ayu readied himself to answer in response to his opponents inquiring to be a training partner.

"Sure why not hehe, its always fun to make new friends this way! By the way, I'm Ayumu Uchiha

His left foot slid forward about 3 ft and his right did the same backwardly, yet with 2 feet whilst pointing its tip to Ayumu's right. His left hand extended outwardly with his palm facing the heavens as his right raised itself above his head as if to form a curved 'L' with his arms. A confidence smile peaked itself at the corners of his mouth as he spoke once more with a calm and vibrant tone.

"Heh...Lets get to it!"

Smirking he watched the boy still, taking in his appearance. Which would be when he noticed something he hadn't paid attention to earlier, a crest...a Uchiha? Tilting his head slightly he'd continue to smile. He knew that Kumogakure held many Uchiha, though was not sure they had such young members as well...hmmm. He'd then listen to the boy, who secured his Uchiha heritage before going into a fighting style stance. Taking in the boy's movements he attempted to secure some thought on what kind of fighting style this boy could posses, small frame didn't always mean little strength, but almost always meant speed.

Grinning now he bared some of his pearly white teeth which almost shined in the sunlight as he pushed his glasses further up the bridge of his nose. "Alrighty then, I'll kick things off to a good start then aye?!"

[/color] Rushing forward now he'd close the distance between himself and the tiny Uchiha. Quickly aiming to kick them at the left side of their head, and should the kick land or miss he'd spin, dropping low slightly as he also attempted a sweeping kick with his left leg. And should this all land or be dodged, his spin would end with his body rotating upwards, thus he would aim to land a viscous, rotation powered right uppercut to the boy's chin.[/left][/blockquote]

Keen, purplish blue eyes fleeted, surveying and scanning over all the features that his opponent and Kumogakure ally provided. The pushing of his glasses, the grin of battle, and the flow of muscles as he dashed forward, he saw and analyzed it all. Reflex caught as the primordial sensation of a battle high coursed through his nerves once his knees bent as if to he rooted himself to the ground. "Heh...Alright!" His opponent wasn't fast, but he wasn't slow either, simply average, at least when in the face of one who specializes in taijutsu.

With careful optics he watched as his opponent approached with a raging one legged kick. Had Ayumu not been within the midst of battle he'd have found himself chuckling at this fact for his opponent already placed himself at a disadvantage. Ayumu, being a practitioner of Tenjou no shuunen, saw endless openings in his opponent attacks, and with those openings came endless opportunities to counter and capitalized. He wasn't so foolish as to act in the most assumable of ways as a great many other combats by defending against the kick with a simple dodge, or block, no, instead, he would attack joints, the foundation to balance.

Given his small frame against his opponent he had the advantage in agility and speed, that much was for certain, but one could also argue strength, but thats neither here nor there. Ayumu ducked whilst stepping in with a swift powerful punch to his opponents leg (inner knee) that remained rooted to the ground which acted as a pillar to support his initial attack. Having struck the join of his inner knee causing it to cave inward against his opponents will. He would have surely fallen to the given the influence of Ayumu's attack and the continuing motion of his opponents kick.

And his kick went nowhere, hmmm. And with this he felt something smash into the back of his knee, which sent him into a short back flip. So he was strong too, heh, this made things all the more interesting. And with the young Uchiha not having active Sharingan this could only mean that he was a Taijutsu primary, oh the wonders of being the expert analyst. So now he knew what he was up against. Still smiling he'd lower his left hand, glowing with Medical chakra, to the back of his knee, healing any damage done by the boy in moments. Ending the technique afterward he nodded towards the boy. "Strong, fast, as well as great reflexes. Good, good, you truly are a Uchiha."

Popping his neck to the side his hands would now glow a dull grey as he rush forward once more, it was time to introduce the boy to devastation that Medical Ninjutsu could offer. Not aiming to blindly throw kicks and such he'd keep his eyes on the boy while throwing many punch combos. "I'll have to be quick to heal the boy if one of these combos land, definitely don't want to harm one of Faust's own."

"Hehe Wasnt expect-" His speech was cut short as he caught sight of Gungnir healing himself using medical ninjutsu, "A medic huh, never fought one of those." Having released his words Ayumu returned to his initial stance before Gungnir rushed forward once more, round two was at hand. He held no stance, maintained no foundation and lacked solidity in his approaches and attacks, Ayumu knew this as he began attacking in a fussilade of punches and strikes, this man was far from being 'good' at taijutsu.

With each attack that came from gungnir Ayumu effortlessly matched it with his own defensive joint attack, striking the joints of the wrists, the joint/concavity just above the forearm (opposite of the elbow), cutting the attacks short and extinguishing their momentum and power. All the while he continued to keep his eye upon the chakra blade that was not Gungnir's hand, he needed to avoid this at all cost. In one instant where his opponent launched a punch(Chakra hand) he stepped inwardly to said punch and slammed his palm against his shoulder that the punch manifested from. If successful it would surely cause a great deal of imbalance in Gungnir's stance and balance, though truth be told at such ranges it would be nigh unlikely. Simultaneously, Ayumu's fingers curled about his opponents shirt whilst grabbing for the wrist of his chakra hand before he'd begin to lean backwards into a back roll. As Ayumu fell back and Gungnir came forward and soon launched him into the air in an arc with a kangaroo leg spring.

While he managed to avoid some of his little opponent's counters he would not manage to dodge them all as the Little Uchiha was. As such he'd find himself prepared to use one of his Clan's techniques, but would not have the time to as he was hurled into a flip, his arms and shoulder sore now. Landing in a crouched position though rather than crashing he'd end his Dead Hands and instead turn to the Little Uchiha, smirking. "I don't think anyone has bested me in such a way, congratulations little Uchiha and even at such a young age..."

[/color] Tilting his head to the side he let out a half laugh as he nodded once more to his fellow Genin. "What are your goals for your shinobi future if I may ask?"[/color]

Though he was asking a question he'd continue the spar, he was sore, but he could continue. Closing in once more he'd wait til he was within the boy's striking distance before enveloping himself within a wild aura as he threw more combos towards the boy now, mixing up punches, elbows, knees, and kicks[/left][/blockquote][/blockquote]

With a masterful hand spring Ayumu shot to his feet in a athlethic crouch, absorbing the the shock as he turned upon his heels to face his opponent as his words lingered through the air and into the Uchiha's ears.

"I don't think anyone has bested me in such a way, congratulations little Uchiha and even at such a young age..."

Ayu could only smile at his comment, he felt flattered to say the least.

"What are your goals for your shinobi future if I may ask?"

Ayumu's eyes strained every so slightly as his mind dove deep into its recesses and brought forth his dreams and goals into verbal activity, "I just want to live and have fun hehe" A childish and somewhat naive answer indeed, however, shouldn't that have been expected when dealing with the likes of a 12 year old kid?

Without warn his hands flipped, twisted, and danced together as a blur along the brisk summer air. He finished just in time as Gungnir's attack came, tangency came, yet, victory did not come, well, it did but in the form of a cloud of smoke and a broken bough that had fallen to the ground from his actions earlier. The Uchiha himself appeared behind Gungnir (10 meters), however, by the time his mind process the actions at hand Ayumu already flipped backwardly and leapt along the sides of a trees bark. The laws of gravity was spat on repeatedly by all shinobi for the possessed the ability to stand upon nearly any surface with a small application of chakra.

That looks like a pretty nasty technique, theres no way im touching that disgusting looking chakra, looks like poop."

Ayu sunk down into the tree's bark as he removed the black leg warmers from his shins and released the weights that had been wrapped around them. They crashed into the ground and created two clouds of smoke that obscured Ayu's vision of Gungnir, but did the same to Gungnir as well. As if to be bruce lee, Ayumu flicked his nose with his thumb as he continued to taunt Gungnir, "Heh, looks like that thing is pretty powerful how about we play a game of tag?!"

Smart too? Smirking STILL, Gungnir watched on as the younger Genin made his way up a tree, commenting on what Gungnir's aura looked like. Laughing slightly he folded his arms he tapped his foot, so he was fast, strong, and smart, AND young. Shaking his head slightly he pushed his glasses further up his nose as he sighed slightly, sadly his technique was being wasted.

Weights were dropped, a single eye brow raised at this...AND he was faster still?! Rubbing his face he let out an enthused sigh as he opted to clean his glasses now, dust and such still obscuring their views on each other. "Tag you say? Hmmm, perhaps, yes why not?"

[/color] Putting his glasses back on he watched on as the dust cleared, still standing in his position. He'd play it calm still, as he could have opted to switch position with one of the boy's weights as soon as it was free of his grasp, thus allowing him to get in close, suck some of the kid's chakra out as well as deal a little damage. Smirking at what he could have done he rubbed the shoulder the Little Uchiha had hit before preparing himself for his own move.[/left][/blockquote][/blockquote]

It was utterly amazing, how a boy of Ayumu's gauge pressured and bested his superior, his elder in such a way. True, Ayumu was an uchiha, however, his skill surpassed and exceeded many, and it was more than apparent that his opponent came to witness such things. The obscuring dust particles soon faded away to the winds as a shimmering dust as it allowed the two kumogakure no sato shinobi to exchange gazes once more. Ayumu glanced over Gungnir's form as he rubbed his shoulders, giving hint that the Uchiha previous blows had some effect one way or another.

"Hehe, looks like I've caused quite a bit of damage"

Ayumu attempted to draw out a conversation, yet, it held a underlying purpose, a textbook tactic, stalling. He knew not the nature and power of the technique that Gungnir had deployed, and he refused to find out at all cost. Planning on furthering his stall he spoke to Gungnir once more, "So what do you want out of the shinobi life?"

Perhaps the boy knew the secrets of his clan techniques and was just acting ignorant. Nonetheless his fiery aura would fade, leaving him vulnerable once more, heh. Listening to the boy he nodded, yeah he did a small little number on Gungnir, who knew the strikes could have been worse were this not a mere sparring match. Licking his lips slightly he glanced to the sky, the boy wanted to stall, and the stalling worked, so why rush back into getting out bested in his secondary?

"I just want to help Kumogakure rise to her former glory and then some, all the while being as useful to my boss."

He wouldn't give out Faust's name, no, for why would he? Scratching the back of his head he tapped his foot on the ground, figuring the boy didn't mean a literal game of tag apparently. His eyes would now though take in the terrain, the fallen limbs, the pieces of bark, the weights, everything, how could he use it to his advantage? Smirking still he'd sigh slightly, he had excellent chakra control for his age and rank, but he had used a bit of chakra already, and if the boy knew of his Clan techniques then he'd have to stray from wasting more chakra on them. Nonetheless he still had a technique prepared.

"Boss?! I don't think he's talking about the raikage, I wonder who that is..." His thoughts coursed on as he inquired about Gungnir's boss within the safety of his own mind. Being incognizant of who this man was would surely plague Ayumu for quite sometime but he refused to show it physically. A brief moment of silence lingered into the atmosphere for the passing moments seemingly formed an eternity of silence as no reply came to bear in the seconds to pass.

And finally he spoke after having watched his opponent move about in a manner that suggested Gungnir was growing slightly impatient and wished that this spar would continue and see its end. "Heh...lost its glory? Never, and i'll show you why Well, Ayumu granted his opponent wish as placed a shuriken within his mouth before he dug his feet deep into the tree's bark as he took off, leaving an explosion of wind and excavations of tree and earth in his wake. With his speed doubled he took off with heavy, fluent speeds and quickly closed the distance between him and his opponent.

Infiltrated Gungnir's personal space he stepped into the earth, causing it to crumble beneath the influence of his physical prowess as he leaned inwardly in attempt to drive his fist into his stomach. Oddly enough the attack and tangency never came, for the boy's form began to falter and twitch as if to be static within a T.v. And in that same instant Ayumu already aimed send a plummeting heel of desolation into the apex of Gungnir's head, ending this match once and for all.

Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique, it allows a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed - to an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. Such a feat is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds they would otherwise be unable to reproduce. In the end, the user will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly should they need it. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.

Description: Nearing their Shunshin mastery, the user has nearly mastered all the aspects behind the high-speed movement. Not only can they now move about freely at such impressive speeds with little restrictions, but they are now able to move so fast that copies of themselves are left behind, perfectly resembling their master for a brief moment in order to provide confusion for the enemy. Only chakra sensing methods will be able to discern the faux presentation, but everything moves so fast the opponent is often left without time to react, turning them quickly into a victim.

His speed now was reaching the limits of Gungnir's eyes following capabilities. As such he'd have to use his prepared technique sooner than later. And with the amount of wind flowing his way he knew it'd be within an instant, for as soon as he felt even the slightest touch on his skin he'd swap places with a piece of bark the boy had ran across, thus it was a mere foot behind him perhaps. Now it was Gungnir's turn, a fiery aura would return as he unloaded a web of combos aim towards the boy's back, all aimed towards spots that would cause the boy more pain than normal.

And if this didn't work then he'd be screwed, forced to give up until a later date. What would he tell the Little Uchiha? Say that his time has run up and that he must return to his boss or tell him he had to get back to the medical center? It didn't matter, for now he was focused on returning the strikes the boy had delivered upon him earlier in this little spar of theirs.

The final verdict of Ayumu's attack presented itself, yet, far from what he initially expected. His heel hungered for flesh and bone, but only tasted the jagged bark of thick bough. Like a knife through butter, Ayumu's heel rived through the broken bough with little effort if not any given the momentum of his attack sported by his speed. His heel indeed carried him to the ground, a crouch to be specific and as it did his opponent decided to rush forward with the taijutsu skills he so narrowly managed to obtain.

There was a substantial difference in height between the two parties, Gungnir rising above as the superior in this factor by several inches. Due to this simple factor it granted him an ample amount of time to stray away from the ambit of his opponents aura. Ayumu eluded his attacks as the flew over his head, complimenting his height as it proved effective in the given fight. However, he was not completely free, no, not yet. Gungnir's attacks surely drew him forward closer towards Ayu, but sadly enough the boy would have already been 10 meters away with rooted feet and confident eyes that stared into the heart of his opponents soul and morale.

He breathed irregularly ever so slightly from pushing himself harder than he originally wanted, but as they say, no harm no foul.

"That was pretty close yah know...had I not taken off my weights i'd be finished by whatever that annoying jutsu is."

The boy was naive but far from stupid, he knew it was abnormal for chakra to have flowed and fluxed as it did with Gungnir, thus instinctively avoiding it altogether
