The golden spotlight of the afternoon sun would gleam against the face of the bronze shinobi. His arms folded, his legs together, his back arched backwards, he was the epitome of a gargoyle, guarding this place with all of his capabilities. A small electronic glass was attached to the side of his head, careening around to cover one of his eyes as he would continue to watch the village. While atop one of the mountain peeks, he could view the village as clear as day thanks to this device. The setting sun was the least of his worries, as the warmth of the sun would smack against his face, he could feel himself heating up. He had been tracking his target for at least a day. With very little to go on other than rumors, it had taken a while to finally catch up with it. However, as soon as they would meet, their interaction would be far from complimentary. The slender frame of the shinobi would slowly release itself, Kurai's legs spreading as he would duck slightly, his gloved index finger raising to the side of his head as he would intensify the vision of the machine attached to his head. His opposite hand would fold into his lap in order to ensure his balance against the random mountain peak. While it was just a glimpse, he had seen something. Something that appeared to be his target was clearly making its way through the village in an attempt to 'sneak passed' his tracker. He was indeed a worthy opponent for the Genin, an enemy that would give the young shinobi nothing but trouble. Though as Kurai would stare amongst the crowd, he could see the ever so rare glimpse of the hint that he had been waiting for. As the flash of hair would cut between two children playing in the middle of the road, it was there that Kurai would commence the engagement of his mission.

As he would launch himself from the top of the mountain, his feet would tuck to his butt. His knees would extend in front of his shoulders as his arms would elongate to either side of his torso. His head, tucking down to his chest would reveal similar results as he would begin to descend towards the very street that his target would be making its way. There were few outdoor roads on the upper portion of the village, but considering the nature of this target, it was bound to traverse outside eventually, more than likely unsure of anything else. As Kurai's sandaled feet would continue to soar spectacularly through the air, the speed of the beast would appear to slow. His golden eyes would never loose track of the target, his expanding vision narrowing down to the snout of the slobbering beast. As his body would grow closer to to the animal, as would his intent. His arms would spread, while his legs would accompany them. He was prepared to tackle the animal, the force of his leap, backed by the velocity of his fall being more than enough to take it down.

As it would clear through the crowd, it's figure would finally be exposed to the open. A massive, pink frame would become exposed tot he golden atmosphere of the village. The star would peak from the mountaintop, being covered tactfully by the shinobi. As his shadow would cast over the pig ominously, there would be a restoration of feeling surging through the young man's veins. His frame would crash into the startled body of the massive pink creature forcing it off of it's four legs in an instant. Their bodies would intertwine as they would roll around the brick surface of the road, not stopping until they would eventually smash into each other on the side of the mountain that they road was created from. A devilish cry would emit from the beast, while Kurai's hand would cripple the beasts legs with a terrible grapple. It would continue to kick, and scream with all of its might while the shinobi would attempt to calm it down. He had been given a slack of rope simply for this mission, and considering that this was the perfect pet to use it on, it had come in handy. As his two golden orbs would meet with the blank beady stare of the pig, a small smile would creep over his face. Mission accomplished.

A smile would wipe over his face as the cold touch of death would deface his enemy. The tough black leather would would constant cover his hand would bleed onto the bare skin forearm of the child that had promised his demise. He would obviously prevent such a thing from occurring. The child, however would scream in delight, the bold faced grin proving the pleasure of his own chance at freedom being taken from him. As the rock would fold underneath the shinobi's feet, he could feel the difference in exposure, the difference in emotion. However, as the child would feel the touch of death, his movement would react differently. His movement would cease. His power would be stripped. Something different would happen, much more interesting than the normal happening. Instead of retreating to either side of the field, this child would instead freeze in that same position, as though some sort of ritualistic magic had been cast over him. His eyes would stare into the sky, while his leg would remain frozen in the air, as though he had made contact with the basilisk of lore. Kurai would move on instantly, his frame cutting through what seemed like an ocean of academy students before he would notice his opposition.

They had chosen teams much before the start of the game, making the ability to conquer the enemy much easier than it was supposed to be. The young man's arms would sway behind his back as he would notice the squadron of children preparing for his elimination. Their innocent faces, and their constant smirks would be enough to drive any normal man insane, however as two golden eyes would rush madly towards them, reminiscent of a classic tale, it was then that he would meet his true rival. Her appearance behind the children was as uncanny as it had meant to be. Long, golden hair would flow behind the dark bronze skin of what appeared to be a familiar woman. Her painted nails would claw the air behind her as her knees would push against the air, throwing her frame madly towards him in opposition. As she would launch herself into the air, over the mass of children, it would only be until she would land that Kurai would realize the relevance of her appearance. She had been drafted to take him out. His own flesh and blood no doubt. As Ura's hands would extend, she would add a bit of excessive force, showing her young brother that she was superior in all aspects of their existence. His body would freeze instantly, his eyes rolling to the side in an attempt to prove his disgust. She had persevered in this engagement of freeze tag, but not in the future. In the future, she would pay, despite her experience in this classic Ogon tradition of team freeze tag. While the numbers wouldn't quite even out today, the inclusion of this small group of children would make things a bit more fair.

Smiles so rarely grace their tender visage. Stories never grace their petite ears. You as a Kumogakure shinobi are tasked with bringing amusement and joy back into their hearts. Tell them wonderful and exciting stories. Play tag or any other childhood game you were brought up knowing. A smile a day will keep the doctor away.

A small ladle would fish itself into the small wooden bowl that had been revolving around the small circular building for the passed four hours. A line of shinobi, ranging from Genin to Jounin would stand shoulder to shoulder, their respective dish placed carefully in front of them to catch the attention and need of every villager that would make their way through the building. The atmosphere was bleak, but hopeful. The sun had just begun to rise, and the plethora of windows that would allow the village to notice the clouds surrounding the panes would allow what little sun left creep its way into the room. It was a massive, building with little to no walls. There were a number of dining tables, making it appear to be much like a cafeteria, that many of the shinobi were familiar with from their experience in the Academy. Each table, all sporting red tops, would be near-filled with the seats of the needy. Sprinkled in the crowd would be random spurts of shinobi conversing with these villagers. Kurai however would be one of the many shinobi handing out the food that the groups would share as they enjoyed their conversations. Men and women ninja would tell tales of the many missions that they had experienced. Few would tell tales of the miraculous places that they had explored, and how it was like to travel. The captive attention of Kurai however would remain on the placement of a simple broth into the bowls of the men and women who had come strictly for the food. Of course, as his golden eyes would stare into the dead, weary eyes of his fellow villagers, there would be nothing compassionate about his actions.

As his ladle would tip upside down once more, he would notice that the only thing on his mind was the money he was receiving for something like this. At the end of the day, this was a service, not something that he volunteered for. This was a business transaction between himself and the village, and in his need to gain money, he would take them up on these offers of easy money. Serving a bunch of bums food for a few hours was something that he could easily get used to. A grin would cross his face, hidden behind his decorated black collar as he would only imagine the wool that he was pulling over the eyes of the saps who would pay for a community service. While the Kumogakure homeless were sure to only live on the streets for a temporary time, their fate determined by the previous attacks, he still felt little sympathy for them. Nothing was going to change that. So as he would once more dip his ladle into the massive vat of broth, and transport it into the bowl of a smiling old woman, he would simply smile back, his mind much too apathetic to fathom authenticity.

description; Though Kumogakure no Sato is starting to thrive under Aburame Shouta’s leadership. Some of our inhabitants are still without food and water. The basic and daily essentials to survive, they’re lacking. So the Raikage has set up a program. This program is simple, each and every day during certain hours the Kumogakure no Sato shinobi serve the unlucky individuals of Kumogakure no Sato food. This simple and welcoming program is further helping our starving villagers. Hopefully they’ll get back upon their feet soon enough. So go Kumogakure no Sato shinobi, help the ones who are in dire need of help.

Kurai's eyes would furrow into a narrow spectacle of aggression as he would stare at the massive collection of wood that would crowd the bottom of the village, near the small waterway running through the spine of his hometown. His folded arms would slowly stretch outward as he would make his way towards the collection of wooden boats that would appear to crowd the street. It was a considerable number of them. They all appeared to be constructed some time ago, the years having done as much as possible to them before eventually spitting them out of the water, forever doomed to stick to their splinters into concrete. As the lone shinobi would speculate, he would also be forced to formulate an answer to these abandoned ships. If he somehow had access to Katon, it would be easy to burn the wood to cinders, quickly dissolving the hard matter into ash. However, considering that lightning would be incapable of destroying items such as these, there would be little he could do other than smash them. However, considering that he did not have the power to smash them with his bare hands... he would need to do something create that would allow for that to happen. His fists would ball underneath his arms, and as his weight would shift from one foot to the other, he would make sure that he could actually get away with what it was that we wanted to do.

The location that was designated for the drop was all the way across the village... however the docks were no where near as far away. Sub-sequentially, this was also the location most known for the homeless of the village to reside. This would open two doorways for the Yamanaka clansman. His first option would be to move these ships to the docks in order to provide them to sailors who could fix them up and either sell them or use them themselves. His second option would be to donate them to those in need, perhaps making a makeshift shelter for the homeless two reside in until they were capable of alleviating themselves from their current situation. While it would not get rid of the items, it would convert them, no longer making them the trash that they once were. Kurai would sigh, making his way towards what seemed like a mountain of boats. At least twenty would stare down at him, waiting to be moved to a location better suited for them. He would launch himself into the air, landing eloquently on top of the first boat at the peak of the mountain. From there he would look out at the abandoned water way that would eventually lead to the open water, which would take him to the docks that he needed to go in order to give these boats away. It was from there that he would take the excess and provide them to the homeless shelter. The rest? He would recycle for whatever they could be used for later. The bottom of his sandal would place itself onto the corner of the boat seat, kicking it powerfully as he would send himself off of the top of the mountain with a graceful back flip, launching the boat into the water. He would quickly make his way across the water, leaping inside as he would slowly float away from the other boats. This was going to be a long day... he would need to put his game face on.
