Grass stalks crunching beneath his feet as he stepped forward through the lush soft land before his home. The sun had as always shined over the village of Konoha all so blissfully and just the very gaze at such could send one into the deepest realms of the mind. At least when one had been confused and wondering what was to come each and everyday. Sweat rolling down the side of his face would take its time doing so while Aikenshi on the other hand would plop in the grass below, legs crossing though fully extended. With a small grin would he take his hands to the back of his head and lay back... all so comfortably. Slowly but surely he woud slip off... Off into the slumber - the place where the utmost important memories roamed...His hands the size of an egg, a Lightning colored buzz-cut sitting atop his head and the smallest pair of slacks would sit over his lower half, nothing worn around the torso but simply half a dragon tattoed to the toddler's chest. The moonlit sky bright as the young boys burning determination to be something. Something the man he looked up to and thought so highly of hadn't gotten the chance to be. One of the smartest shinobi known in the Universe and this would truly take time but as a child... Nothing mattered. Nothing could stop him on his journey for his was being trained by a man of intense caliber. A man of the Nara who had flawed but once in his ninja ways and it cost him everything in the future.
"Keep your hands together, FOCUS Kenshi!" the man's voice would crack the drastic plague of silence enveloping the duo. He stood at six feet, two inches in height and seemed to weigh at least two hundred-fifteen pounds. Anger seeping in with his tone and frustration beginning to show for the young child had no real idea how to mold himself into a being that his father was. The pain radiating through him... the look on his face could never be forgotten. It was just the two of them from their immediate family left and everything he'd been forced to do was just too ridiculous. But the young boy had coped and adapted so far, it wouldn't stop. The elder would take several steps toward his child and look to him with a smile.
The way he felt was sending his adrenaline into a shockwave, surging. All he needed was the young boy to manipulate his shadow one time. Just once and effectively; this would change everything for him and a smile would last for him for a decade if not the rest of his life. There was much the young boy didn't know of his father but there wasn't much he could do at the time. He stood there and looked over his blood - he would be the BEST. "All I need is for you to try, Kenshi. Make me proud." he would speak once more, his eyes narrowing as he did so. Yet and still, his tone was more relaxed this time. Aikenshi would smile himself and bend his knees in, his hands before his chest - chakra surfing back and forth.
He knew this much... That counted for something?
He'd lay idle and let his mind go to work, there were some things he just needed to figure out for himself. Things he had forgotten, things he had screwed up on. There was no pain and no sorrow - but something was missing here and he wouldn't let his mind rest until he'd figured it out. What was it that he wanted back then?
