N A R R A T O R
Upon hearing her name, the dragon slowly nods, its flat tail slapping the ground beneath it with purpose. "Geh1." It answers, its accented voice still thick in its tone. Upon feeling your weight board its slender back, she then swerves around, her snout pointed back towards the direction of the dark tunnel from which she had initially emerged. You feel her body crouch, as though she's on the verge of pouncing forward. "Hold on tightly to the reins, Odkiir." She asks, her suggestion subtly displaying a newfound sense of companionship for you.
Now that you're upon the harness, you realize that it wouldn't be such a bad idea to brace yourself for what's going to come next. The downside of its spaciousness is the fact that it'll give you a whole lot of nothing to grab onto should you slide off mid-flight. Even for a shinobi, it wouldn't hurt to prepare for any unexpected speeds or turns. You feel Fusa's body twitch, a convulsion followed by the quick expansion of her wondrous orange wings thereafter. The sound of them spreading issues an abrupt swoosh, potentially shocking, if you'd been caught off guard.
Then, she kicks into a leap forward so sudden and so powerful, that you feel your very skin being pulled backward by the sheer momentum of the movement. Sunrise orange wings fold slightly back in place, ensuring they don't collide with any rocky obstacle up above, as she takes the plunge into the deep darkness of the tunnel-- carrying you along for the adrenaline-filled ride. And, that's just how it feels. Like a supreme rollercoaster, filled with such a great amount of terrifying, yet blood-pumping joy. The speed in which she flies is nothing short of unbelievable.
As she shoots through the darkness, having crossed what would appear to have been miles by now, you eventually see a beam of sunlight afar. The wind causes strands of your hair to whip across your face, as small specks of dust sting your face lightly during flight. As Fusa continues forward, the beam of sunlight coming closer and closer by the millisecond, you realize that-- soon enough-- she is going to have to take a sharp veer upwards. You're going to need to brace yourself!1 Yes.
