Kanari would finish off her own food as Blanche spoke on her children, a smile would appear on her face as she noticed how much Blanche was actually trying to help her children out. Kanari would place her chopsticks onto her plate as she completely finished off her meal, she would look to blanche once more as she rose from her seat. The woman would push back from the table her self allowing her self the space to get up, she would get up from her seat as well while grabbing her glass of lemonade. Kanari would soon step away from the table pushing before pushing her chair in, she would begin to gather up the dishes that were all over the table left by her son and husband. 

“Well that will be fine, hopefully it’ll be soon that we can get together again. It’s not everyday that I get to talk to another female, I’m surrounded by the boy’s and Kasai all day long.”

She said before laughing a bit while collecting the dishes from the table, as she picked up the last plate she looked back towards the Kusakage.

“Well I know you will probably have to be on your way soon, I know you’re a busy woman. So let me put these dishes up and walk you to the door.”

Kanari said as she collected the last plate and headed out towards, she would quickly make her way into the kitchen placing the plates into the sink before making her way back to the dinning hall. As she arrived at the door of the dinning hall she would wave Blanche over and if she had elected to follow Kanari would lead her towards the exit of her home, once she got there she would open the door. 

“It was vary nice to see you Lady Kusakage, I can’t wait until we meet again. One again it was a pleasure to have you in my home, and good luck with your young one he’ll be a handful.”

The woman would say as she smiled softly.

With the meeting coming to the close as I saw Kanari, too, rise from her seat, I watched as she then moved around the table picking up any dishes that were left that she could clean, piling them up neatly. As for myself, as rude as it seemed, I merely stood, preparing to respond to what she was starting to say with my right hand carefully held on to the top of a nearby chair. I understood her reasoning for wanting to get out of the house more, especially with another female as I was sure that living with so many males in her home must get quite repetitive. And so – I accepted her request, although I’d need to make sure that I even had time in my busy schedule to allow myself such time, first. Gazing around at the room as she made her exit, seeing the photographs and paintings that were hung on the wall, I again was given visions of my own home before the first shinobi war and how decorated it had been. But – Kasai and Kanari’s home seemed.. lived in. Whilst I’d done my best to emulate the manor as it had been several years before, there was only so much you could do with so many objects being missing. Thankfully upon my initial return I’d found that many things remained – beds, sofas, smaller objects – but a few were easily repairable. For instance, a smashed glass frame bearing an age-old picture of my family; the frame was easily placed, the picture, however – priceless, so I’d been lucky. Snapping me out of the small trance I’d found myself in was the wave of Kanari’s arm which suggested for me to follow her to the door, and I complied with this, letting go of the chair and making my way out of the grand room.

”Thank you for your hospitality.”
“I’ll see what I can do about taking your sons out on a mission, soon.”

I spoke with a soft nod of my head. At her comment about my own child, I snickered , a grin surfacing.
I knew that he’d be one.

And on that note, I turned, and left the grounds of their home.

Home. It's felt always the same, with the welcoming feeling. After all, she was born in the same household and raised here. Her brothers had it differently though, as she was born four years later after they were and during this time they were in the village of Konohagakure. Maybe they didn't feel that accustomed to this place, though they did have fourteen years to adjust to this new life.

The young girl was tucked in bed, stuck within a deep sleep, she was really tuckered out from her latest training session. It's only been a couple of month since she learned that she was much more proficient in performing Doton justus and she's been attempting to learn as much as she could about her current element. It was rather disappointing that she became a Doton user, as her parents were expecting her to be Katon user as it was a much more common thing for a Uchiha. Not only that but it was rather more of a tradition as all Uchihas seem to have a high aptitude with the manipulation for fire release, able to master it at a much more faster rate than any other common shinobi. Alas, it seems that this isn't the case for her as she seems to be unable to perform or manipulate the simplest of fire.

"Uh- Uurgh. But I don't wanna' dance without a audien-c-c-ce. . ."

Her dream was nearing it's end, as she begun to constantly twist and turn while muttering out incomprehensible sentences after a couple of moments of delay between them. The blanket that was once tucked tightly was thrown to one side with a flip of a hand, as her body started to roll over one side. It was only a couple of seconds till there would be nothing to roll on, as gravity worked it's charms. Thud! Of course the origins of this sound was her slamming into the wooden floor of her room, making her moan in pain with her eyes somewhat open. Drool, dripped to the floor, as she barely managed to slowly pick her upper body from the ground, letting out a huge puff of air afterwards. Her hair was quite in a mess, as her clothes were just crumpled up looking like a prune. Her expression of her face was currently a mixture of sleepiness and annoyance.

"Can't believe I fell out again. . . My face really hurts now."

Her voice started to sound less croaky, as her movements were seeming to revert back to their normal state. Standing up, she moved to the view outside, with was brimming with sunlight. Seemed like it was nearly midday, she had quite overslept not keeping to her schedule. It didn't matter though, it was only Sunday. The only things that she needed to do today was practice, being a Genin was hard work but if she didn't train she would be the slacker of the class and she could remember how badly that ended for another Genin. She shivered, not even daring to bring forth that memory again. At least the view outside was as peaceful as always, as she could she her mother downstairs hanging up the wet clothing to dry upon the hot day. Shārotto would of called out to her, but she was a mess. It would of been quite shameful for her mother to see how bad she looked currently.

Moving nimbly to her desk, she got out her 'fashion disaster kit' or hairbrush and other cosmetics to be blunt. It was quite a lot of minutes of tiding her self up. Men would never understand how much a girl goes through to look her very best. With her hair in it's standard form, she went to get changed picking out her usual shinobi clothing. Shirt, vest, short, sandals, the works. Her headband wasn't needed as she wasn't planning to go out, she was going to stay in at train the the room upstairs. But before she did, her body was calling for food as she had no choice but to quench her hunger. With that, she scrambled downstairs to eat without no buts needed. With a number of loud foot steps, it was quite clear that she was awake and raring to start her day.

"Gotta make it to the top."

Rukei said to himself as he stood in the mirror looking at his self in the mirror, he grabbed the pendant that his father had gave him on the day the Kusakage came to visit the house. 'Shit I know I've been slacking.' he thought to himself as he tied the necklace around his neck, as he locked in his place he would tug on it a bit to make sure it was secure. Shortly after the shinobi would reach into his drawer pulling a black short sleeved t-shirt with his clan symbol imprinted on the front it, he'd pull the shirt over top of his head while he pushed his arms through through sleeve. As the shirt fell down on to his body he'd look in the mirror smiling at his self a bit, he'd take his hand and scramble around his hair a bit, he made sure to keep the shaggy style he looked to sport in some type of shape. Once he was done he'd shake his head a bit before reaching into another drawer pulling out a pair of black pants, Rukei would move over to his bed sitting down on the edge of it. 'What someone's up before me?' he thought to himself as he heard the sound of footsteps running through the hall, Rukei would shake his head as he thought he was being studious by waking up first for training. But that surely wasn't the case, the boy would sigh slightly as he pulled his pants up onto his legs. He'd quickly find his pair of all black closed toe shoes and slide them on to his feet. 

"Now, breakfast I wonder who beat me to the table."

He said to himself as he took one final look in the mirror, shortly after the teenager would jet for his door. He'd swing his door open allowing it to hit the wall with a loud enough sound to let everyone know he was awake. He'd smile slightly as he dipped his head a little so he could fit through his door, 'I love this being tall thing.' the Uchiha thought to himself as he quickly jetted for the stairs, he'd seemingly jump from the top of the stairs all the way to the bottom landing with a loud thump in a crouching position. 'I think I'll have some oatmeal.' he thought to himself as he rose out of his crouching position, the big kid would then take a couple paces forward trying to be a bit more silent now. 'I wonder if I can sneak up on whom ever is up first.' he thought to himself as he crept through the hallway, he'd look into the main dinning room seeing if it was someone in there.

"Nope, to the kitchen.."

He said to himself as he took the long way to the kitchen walking through the dinning room and another sitting room, he'd appear at the back entrance of the kitchen as he did he would press his body up against the wall on the right side of the door. 'Now.' The boy would lean his head out slightly looking into the kitchen. 'Oh yeaahhhh it's Sharotto-chan.' Rukei would lean his head back around the corner as devilish grin appeared onto his face, shortly after Rukei would jump out from behind the wall.

"Garhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

The boy would almost be screaming at the top of his lungs attempting to scare his little sister, he wasn't if it was going to work be he was up for a good prank.

First floor, quiet. It always seemed this way at the early hours but it wasn't early, actually it was close to being the evening. Since this was the case, perhaps everyone went out, it seemed as if her father wasn't in anyway. Her mother was outside doing laundry so that only left her two bigger brothers. Didn't matter, she was quite too much in a hurry to play hide and seek within her mind. With that unneeded thinking out of the way, she made her way into the Dinning room, seeing if it may b one of those days where she is welcomed to a meal right in front of her. But with a couple of steps it seemed that it wasn't the case. She let out a sigh, as she pretty much knew that she was going to have to make herself something. It wasn't a problem but she was still somewhat drowsy, and being like that often cause problems for her in the past.

She made her way from the dinning room the to kitchen that seemed to be a clean as could be. It seemed like someone was busy other than her. Her mother was always the one who did these stuff and she usually made everything look as if it were brand new. Shārotto didn't know how she does it but it's always a amazing sight to see the end results. The simple things like these are what makes her look up to her parents. As her admiring came to a halt, she trotted to see what food was available and what could she make. The coldness emitted from the fridge* was annoying but she bared with it as it was something which she couldn't change. The wasn't much in stock, she'd probably would have to help out buying groceries for later once all her training was done. She guessed she could make some toast. She grabbed some bread and placed it on the counter.

THUD!

The sound echoed from upstairs, it seemed as if it were a door. Meaning that someone was upstairs, it was most likely one of her older brothers from the sound of it. At least she wasn't the last one up. Continuing her quest for food, she went the one of the drawers containing cutlery. Forks, spoons, the usual stuff were all neatly assorted within there but what she needed was a knife to cut and butter the bread. With a pick of the chosen item, she made her way back to the counter but unfortunately it seemed as if she was about run into a accident. A loud roar or whatever it was came behind her, instantly scaring the light out of the child. In reaction she tripped and fell, but as she was holding the knife in her hand upon impact the metalic object stabbed into the side of her right wrist.

"Ahh!"

A shriek was made from her, which was quite loud even it reached her mother's ears who was outside. She instantly gripped her arm in pain, feeling a mixture of emotions overcoming her. Not really knowing what to do, she pulled the knife out of her wrist, throwing it the the side of the floor opposite from her as her arm begun to constantly bleed. The wound didn't seem to be bad but if not treated it would get much worse. Immediately, with a teary eyed face she looked to see who was the culprit that cause this whole ordeal and it was Rukei. Just before letting out into a cry she said. . .

"Brother. . . Why did you do this?"

*Wasn't sure about there being fridges but I guessed so since naruto house had a kettle, makes sense for there to be a fridge :3*

At the sound of his younger sisters scream Rukei had been smiling until she started falling to the ground, Rukei facial expression changed in a matter of moments as he noticed the knife within in her hand. As she hit the floor and let out a terrifying screech that echoed throughout the entire manor the genin eyes got big as ever, no longer smiling once he seen the small splat of blood shoot from her wrist. ‘Oh shit Shārotto’ He thought to himself as she screamed to him asking him why’d he scare her while she cried. Rukei without hesitation quickly ran over to his little sisters aid, with her being much smaller than he’d knell down on one while still towering over her.

“Let see Shārotto.”

He’d say while he reached out to grab her wrist, once he had grabbed he would pull it a bit closer to him. ‘This isn’t that bad.’ Rukei thought to himself as he looked over the cut, though it looked like the knife had did a bit of number on his sister. His free hand would make it’s way to the back of his head beginning to scratch it a bit. The teen would nervously smile as he looked to his little sister teary eyes, he hated to see her crying because it kind of made him sad. 

“I’m sorry otto, I didn’t mean to make your self.”

He’d say while he watched the little tears from from eyes, he would stand up from his kneeling position why releasing her hand. ‘I think their is bandages in her.’ He thought while he made his way to one of the drawers in the kitchen, as he opened the back door of the house would fly open slamming into the wall. 

“RUKEI!”

A loud motherly voice ripped through the halls of the manor causing the boy to slightly cringe, how she knew it was him causing trouble was because he was always making his always playing tricks on his siblings. The boy’s head would lower as he heard the sound of feet stomping down the hallway. Rukei would quickly reach into the draw pulling out the wraps, he’d turn back to Shārotto kneeling down once more on one knee. 

“Let me see you’re wrist otto, please.”

He’d say as he unraveled a bit of the wraps, 'I hope she doesn’t kick me.’ he thought to himself as he heard the steady pace of footsteps coming down the hallway.

It wasn't that bad, sure she was crying but that was due to the shock of seeing her own blood for the first time. Actually this was the second time counting the Kunai incident that occurred three years ago, which her hand still has a scar to show as proof. But either way it still would hurt like hell. Her mind was flying with questions and statements such as "Why did he do this?" "It wasn't his fault." "Why did this happen again?" and so on, she was completely skeptical. Her brother knelled to her, offering to check the problem, but still forcibly grabbed her arm. She did have strength to oppose the offer but chose not to. He was her big brother at the end of the day, he would never dare to do something bad to her on purpose without a reason, right? Y- Yeah, she must be right, she had to trust her gut and her brother.

She didn't dare to let her gaze move off him as her observed the wound, still being very cautious after all. But her crying seemed to slowly die down, as the pain was still there but just little right now with a whole lot of numbness. She watched him scratch his head, it made her feel quite awkward. 'Did he find out that it was really bad, Oh god, he's clueless isn't he.' His shaky smile didn't make her feel better, not one bit. Well, he did apologize at least, she knew he didn't mean to do this and couldn't even know this would happen. It's just bad luck mixed with Shārotto's clumsiness. Though she felt somewhat bad by thinking he did this on purpose or. .  oh she even said something. God, now she even feels like apologizing. But her ego wouldn't let her. Instead, while her crying came to a halt, she spoke out.

"You know this is your fault. I demand a new shirt after this is over."

Yep, with that statement she was clearly better, as the bleeding seemed to come to a halt. But just then a shout could be heard, the shout of a angry mother with one concern on her mind. Kids. Seemed like her brother was going to get in trouble whether he liked it or not, well maybe she could calm her mother down a bit. Then again she could milk this whole thing to get something out of it. He he. Ouch, the pain still was there. Her brother returned with bandages to likely wrap it around her wrist. Accepting the offer, she stretched her right arm out making sure her wound was clearly visible to her brother. But it seem that her mother was bound to arrive the the room any minute. And it just seemed that she walked into the kitchen to witness the worse possible situation, a bleeding child. Attempting to say something before her mother jumped to conclusions she shakly said. . .

"I- I-. . .He-. . . Um-. . . I- I tripped?"

‘Quite demanding as always.’ Rukei thought to himself as he began to wrap the bandages around his younger sisters arm. As the cut left a little blood spot on the wraps Rukei would tear the bandages at that point before pulling a little metal clip from his pocket, he would place it at the edge of the wrap to hold it in place. Once he was finished he gentle let go of her had, but the bellowing sound of his mothers footsteps had seemed to be all but there. 'here we go.’ he thought to himself as he stood up facing the entrance that his mother was coming too, the boy would try to put on his boyish charm with his mother as soon as she stepped into the door.

“Rukei! I told you abo--”

Her words would be cut short as Shārotto's little voice came from behind Rukei, she would tell her mother that she had just tripped. Rukei would let out a sign of relief as the fire in his mothers eyes were relinquished, he’d step aside as their mother began to walk towards a little sister. 'Now I have to buy her like five shirts.’ He thought to himself as his mothers temperament completely changed from scolded Rukei to help Shārotto's. In that moment Rukei would make his way to the fridge. 

“Are you ok honey? aww your big brother helped you... That’s cute, but what were you doing with that knife. There are some pre-sandwiches in the fridge for your brothers and you, I made them before I started our laundry.”

Kanari would say as she offered her hand out to help her daughter from the floor. 

“Nice food, so Otto you’re for your training? I promise it’ll be fun today.”

Rukei would say as he reached into the fridge pulling out the sandwiches his mother spoke of, he pull out two for himself while pulling one extra out for his sister. He’d toss hers on to the counter just next to them.

Yowch, even though her brother was wrapping the wound, it still was really painful. But it had to be done, unless she wanted it to be infected and get to an worse state. Her eyes skit towards the knife and gave off a shiver. Sure it's all swell now but after that she sure isn't going to be buttering any bread any time soon. Her brother moved away to make room for her mother who was most likely more worried than she was about the whole thing. Mothers tend to be like that when anything bloody occurs. She said a couple of worried sentences and praised her brother for helping her out which was good and all but he was the main cause for this whole mess. 'Course it would be funny to see him get in to trouble as a way to get revenge but she'd save it and make him owe her something. She let out the smallest of smile upon the side of her face at her brother before returning to gaze at her mother.

She allowed her mother to help her out, though she didn't really need it but it was nice to be helped out once and a while especially if it's a piece of her mother's love. As she got up, she used the back part of the bandaged wrist to wipe the remainder of her tears away like a tissue. It was quite disappointing to hear there was already pre-made sandwiches, if she found them then this whole mess wouldn't of happened. It was quite funny how the small little things like that would of changed the whole events that occurred. Her brother offered a training session, she wasn't really keen on training after this whole thing had happen but she guessed it was alright if she didn't move her hand around a lot. After all the main reason that she pulled herself from her slumber was to begin training her justus and perhaps a bit of combat.

"Um, I may take you up on that."

After saying her response, she proceed to grab the sandwich which her brother threw upon the counter. Afterward she went the get some water. She was still dizzy from losing some blood and she really needed to drink something to gain some energy. After her little meal was prepared, she proceeded to the dining room to ear and drink. Sure she needed a bit more than one sandwich but she wasn't quite up to eating a lot at the moment. It was clear that she was off balance, as with every step that was taken she wobbled from side to side looking more drowsy than she was before this ordeal. Just before she left the room, she turned towards her brother to mutter something out. With a little smile she spoke the words.

"And don't forget our promise."

Following after his younger sister Rukei would make his way to the dinning room just down the hall to from the kitchen. ‘Geeshh she so fragile.’ he thought to himself as he watched his sister wobble down the hall like a little duck, the silver haired shinobi would shake his head while he walked behind her. It wouldn’t take very long to get to the dinning seeing as it was just down the hall from the kitchen. He would make his way into the dinning room quickly finding himself a seat at the table, he would sit in one of the chairs on the left side of the table while placing his sandwiches on the table in front of him. 'Oh I forgot a drink.’ he thought to himself as he began to unwrap his own sandwiches. 

“Mom! I want some lemonade!”

He’d scream as he looked towards the door that he came in through. Once he called her his gaze would make it’s way to his Otto provided she took a seat at the table. He would smile at her as he completely unwrapped his first sandwich.

“Thank little sis, I’ll be sure to get you a couple of shirts later to day. Any one you want.”

He’d say before he took a bite out of his sandwich. Now Rukei would proceed to destroy his food fairly quick as he normally did, he ate his first sandwich in about a minute flat. ‘That was good.’ he thought to himself as he quickly grabbed the second one, he would tear the plastic that was covering it off. ‘Bottoms up.’ he thought as he began to chomp the sandwich down until it was gone, he would finish this one with great haste as well. ‘That was good.’ his hand would whip the crumbs from his mouth as he finished his meal, shortly after his mother would be walking through the door of the dinning room with a  cup of lemonade in her hand. 

“Thanks mom.”

He would say as he grabbed the glass from her hand, she would nod before turning away from him. 

“And when you’re training Shārotto don’t be too rough, you know she just cut herself.”

She’d say as she was making her exit from the room. Rukei would nod his head as he began to indulge himself in the lemonade that she had brought him. After his first sip off of his cup he’d place it on to the table while looking towards Otto.

“Anything specific you want to work on sis?”

Taking her seat, with the sandwich held by the uninjured arm. She stared to her brother who already seemed to be munching up his food. Jeez, was all boys like this, what happened to the times that people enjoyed eating the food slowly and having a bit of a chat. Giving off a sigh, she begun to unwrap her own sandwich, biting it off bit by bit afterwards to have a much more better eating experience. Munching with her eyes closed, she swallowed and gave off a smile of being content. Her brother on the other hand already was on to the second of his sandwiches, quite the fast eater as always. One of her eyes opened and looked towards him as she gave off a cocky smile and said. . .

"Y'know, if you eat too fast your going to choke."

Part of her wanted him to choke, just for her point to be proven. God, he even has lots of crumbs all over his mouth, talk about being messy. She avoided looking at him for a moment, staring to the window to get a glimpse of the outside. After all idiocy may end up being contagious, but she would never stoop to being so low. Flocks of birds could be seen, flying in a V-formation like usual. She watched in awe at the winged animals till they couldn't be seen. Her love for animals of all types had no bounds, she adored each and every one of them and even wish she could be one. Boy when she learned Henge when she was in academy most of her time she spent as a brown rabbit though very few knew about this, it tends to be one of her things that she likes to keep a secret. As the bird were out of view, her gaze returned to her brother who unsurprisingly already finished the meal. He even made mother get some lemonade for him, how lazy. She had to go and get herself water even though she was injured. Hmph! Well she wasn't going to use her mother's kindness that much. Then her brother asked her a question, after swallowing the piece of the sandwich in her mouth she responded.

"I was planning to see if I could figure out any tactics that I could create using my own justus. Like using Iwa Bunshins for distracting some while I'll lurk underground to attack. Obviously not that though since I already thought of it. Tactics are a main factor in a fight anyway, don't you have any?"

She wondered. Sure her brother was a idiot at times but he still was a good shinobi nevertheless. He should have some sort of tactics planned within his head right? Of course he does. With that said and awaiting to hear a answer she went back to eating her sandwich which had only a quarter left by the time that she spent eating. Just as she was going to take a munch, a question came to head.

"Oh. Know where father went? I thought he would be doing one of his usual antics like throwing kunai randomly at us."

As Otto answered his question Rukei nodded his head while he took a moment to think to himself 'hmm tactics.' His gaze would float towards the ceiling for a moment while he thought about the question. His finger would begin to tap on the table because he wasn't sure of his own tactics, it had been quite some time sense he tested his battle skills with a real situation. As he pulled his gaze away from the ceiling it would land back upon Otto. He would kind of stare at out for a moment just before she asked a follow up question about their father. 

"Well Otto-chan I actually like to make good use of my ninja tools, most of my jutsu are means of overpowering people. So I use my tools to set people up in a way that they can't really avoid my jutsu, also when I battle I like to play the defensive side at first using universal type jutsu to keep my enemy in the dark about my actual element of choice. That always pays off as well. And I don't know where dad went I think he left out early this morning."

Once he was done his short lived speech he'd grab his drink and begin to sip off it once more, as he was done he'd place the cup back on the table while sign because the lemonade was so good. 'But she doesn't even use katon so her tactics may be totally different than my own. I remember my fight with wave, he used Doton as well. Its pretty handy I guess." Rukei thought to himself as he continued to look at his little sister, he'd shake his head taking himself out the slight trans he was in. 

"But for you, that mole hiding jutsu can play a big part in your tactics. Its a good way to add the element of surprise to your arsenal, I once faced someone who used its pretty versatile. Just takes a little work to see what works and what doesn't ya know?" 

After Rukei finished speaking he'd push his seat back from the table, then he would raise from his seat. the shinobi would begin to gather his garbage from the table balling it up in his hand, following that he would present his sister with a big smile. 

"I think we should start out outside sense you want to work on your element ya know, there are some practice dummy's and all that mess outside"
