"I'm pretty sure he was as well."
Through the course of his entire life, it pained Ji to have not been able to meet his father, talk to him, and even receive advice from him like a regular son would, but nay, because of how the shinobi world had been shaped, the lifestyle robbed him of such a precious luxury. Hastily, Ji suppressed his emotions after having realized just how close the duo had been to approaching the gates of Kusagakure; the last thing he needed was for the village's leader and its people to see the one beacon of weakness within his soul. Looking over towards Yoku, he noticed the grin that crept along his face, a grin that told countless warnings of his inner desires and what he truly wanted to occur during their visit.
Looking a head and back to Yoku after he'd spoken once more, Ji's eyes narrowed as he came to realize that in execution, the methods to obtain the very goal they sought to achieve had been excruciatingly similar. Naturally -within the safety of his own mind- he questioned Yoku's real goal in the grand scheme of things and what he would've gained from it all. Although Ji needed to speak with the Kage's as well, it went without saying that the messages the two needed to convey were worlds apart; because of that, as a shinobi, Ji considered the possibility of Yoku getting into his way, and Ji getting into Yoku's own.
Stopping along side Yoku, 10 meters from the village gates, Ji examined its structure from top to bottom, looking for both its weak and strong joints before he turned to Yoku with a light nod."Shall we? It's time we come to understand the ways of this village's shinobi and their stubborn leader"
