As the boy fell to his ass from exhaustion I knew I had did him a big favor, I couldn’t imagine anything more that I could’ve gave the Chocolate boy for giving me the location of his village. So as he started to give me the directions to his village I’d pull my map from my bag. As I listened to his directions it was obvious he wasn’t being very exact about where it was. But it didn’t matter because I got the jest of what he was trying to explain, as he gave his final direction I’d mark a X on my map before rolling it back up and putting it back into my bag.

“Yeah, I bet. You’ve got some potential kid, you were just outmatched this time.”

As I spoke my sarcastic tone would be all over my words, I couldn’t hope but to think where I will be the next time I meet Mokushi. I had so many plans for myself as I knew that I was destined to be one of the greatest Shinobi that has ever walked this earth. It was just a matter of how bad I wanted it, I couldn’t keep procrastinating on my aspirations because If I did I would end up being too old to accomplish what I want. But as my mind wondered away from those thought Mokushi would catch my attention again as he asked about the shinobi from my village, the first person that came to my mind was Kouketsu but he didn’t actually hail from my village though he protected it like his own. Next would be Blanche, but she was expected to be one of the most powerful shinobi that hailed from Kusagakure. Because she in fact brought the city back from ashes by herself, I found that to be one of the greatest accomplishments anyone could ever muster up but I didn’t want to talk about her either. Finally a light when off in my head.

“My favorite student, his name is Kain. He’s like you very confident in his own ability but tends to get ahead of his self sometimes, but with some training he’ll be stronger than me one day.. Or at least I hope so.”

As I spoke of Kain I had thought about, I hadn’t seen him since the Yuki mission. It reminded me that I needed to get back home to check up on him to make sure he was ok. Plus I’m guessing Blanche is wonder where the fuck I went, because we were supposed to meet after that mission was completed.

My eyes narrowed as I pouted at the man’s reply. I watched as he would mark the location of Kumogakure on his map. Should I be worried then, that he might attack the village? No, if he did, he would be met with people far stronger than I was and maybe even him. I looked forward to the day where I could my own against powerful shinobis and walk away with the least amount of injury inflicted upon my body. I could very well sense the sarcasm in his voice as I continued to listen on his speech. He talked about his best student, Kain, as I would derive that he was someone important to him as well as a powerful shinobi. I gave a smile as he would compare the similarities of his student to me. I nodded at his last comment, speaking, and “Sounds like a cool guy! I would like to meet him one day! It’s the duty of the younger generation to surpass the older or the current generation. You can relax knowing that I too will surpass you!” 

I smiled, pointing to the headband that rest on my left arm. “I’m going to be the Sannin of this village! I plan to protect it at all and any cost.”

As Mokushi spoke I couldn’t hope but too feel a warm feeling within my gut, though his comment about his generation surpassing my own. I’d have to chuckle a little because little did he know we were probably only a couple years apart from one another, I was just blessed with the will of my father. I’d stuff my hand into my hands into my pocket too fish something out of my pocket, it had been a golden coin that I had picked up a couple of years ago. The coin would boast a picture of three tomoe sharingan on it; the coin had actually come from my dad as a gift for my fourteenth birthday. I’d pull the coin out my pocket before looking to the fallen tattered Mokushi.

“Sannin huh? Well I’ll be one of the greatest Shinobi to ever walk this earth, that’s my goal.”

I’d say before flipping the coin off my thumb towards the boy hoping that he would catch It within his grasp. My hands would slide into my pockets as I the coin floated through the air, in that same instense I would turn my back to the younger shinobi.

“Well I gotta go Mokushi, I’ll be back to check up on ya. Remember as long as you work hard you’ll be a great shinobi, just take ya time and it’ll all come to you.. Uchiha are meant to be genius and I can see that you’re one in the making. Peace out.”

I’d say as I walked away from him, I would throw up my two figures before I took off towards the forest that he had pointed out in his directions to the village of Kumogakure. ‘I guess I’ll pay the Raikage a vist, Blanche told me he was a great guy.’ I’d though to myself as departed from my visit with the boy, I’d figured he’d be alright to get back to his village because I hadn’t actually hurt him that bad. ‘He’s got potential I hope he doesn’t waste it.’

I looked at the man as he made his comment. I nodded, understanding his goal. I had come to respect the man, watching him go as my right hand would form thumbs up after catching his coin, speaking, “When you come back, don’t expect everything to go your way, Kaze!” As he walked away, I retreated back into the confines of my mind, become more and more aware of my surroundings. My goal became very clear to me as it was today that I made my resolve to become stronger. 

My body sank further into the dark pool, my mind wrapped in its sweetness. I was on the path to depravity but somewhere deep within my mind I knew that I could defeat it. Perhaps I could even control it and use its power to strengthen my will. The voice that spoke earlier in the battle against Kaze disappeared but I had feeling that it would show up quite soon, taunting me yet again…

I stood up, finally, and made way back to the village albeit slowly. I did not want to leak anymore blood from my body and so, I would walk to the hospital, hoping to rest and possibly heal from my wounds. Soon….
