As the dust continued to settle, and the weight of the limestone would crash around the two of them, the situation was clearly completely different than what it had started to be. His ears were ringing, and his heart was beating. His wrist was numb, and his legs were weary. As he rest on his back, head towards the darkened sky, he would peer out into the distance to see the face of the man that had done him this harm. However, with his technique clearly failing... why was he still alive? Looking backwards, he would see the vibrant red hair of the third party, standing over him as if a beacon of light in this now dismal place. Shaking his head to clear whatever bugs lingered, he would turn back to his enemy quickly, taking a stand alongside the man. As he would glance at the grizzly suna-nin- each second taking on a new form, and new emotion; a bit of his real self would slip from his lips.
"You're powerful!" He would shout towards the man, who bellowed for his blood. "I'm afraid you have me at a disadvantage. You claimed you wanted peace. You want me to leave? Then I'll do it." He said considerately. His free hand fell to his side, before slowly raising to his shoulders to show a sign of peace. "However, if you would rather try and kill me... then I suppose you can try your hand at that as well." A sigh would escape his lips, before finishing his speech. "I just hope you make the right decision." He would say with an ominous tone.
His previous speech pattern had vanished in favor of a new one. It wasn't often that he spoke this way in front of people. Certain members of Rengoku and of the village, perhaps. Otherwise, his voice was brash, annoying and slummy. The ground would continue to crumble, and the well of water beneath them would quickly become polluted with the crashing stone from above. The sky would drape over the rest of the landscape, and this monstrous creature would appear almost unrealistic in this shade of navy.
"Thank you..." He would whisper to the man at his side, yet unwilling to devote all of his trust in to him. He had saved him for a reason yet to be revealed, but there was no guarantee that he wouldn't want a reward after this ordeal had been completed. After all, this sand-man had just threatened the both of them, and revealed his abilities numerous times. With his element now easily accessible, the situation had changed completely. He was no longer forced to hold himself back. Instead, the water which would rage under the pressure of rubble beneath him would act as his spear, and his shield. The hole was small, but would make a clear separation between the two men and the beast. "... could I have my hand please? We might need them." He would finish, without taking his eyes off of the mammoth before him.
