I would suggest upping the requirements; Jounin are mission leaders, so the candidates need to prove they can handle such a task via participation in prior missions; overall, Jounin shouldn't bee too abundant, and this should be really selective--imo.

Some villages do not have enough missions for shinobi to keep up with so I thought of throwing out the mission requirement in general. In general rping is what is essential here and is what this general focus is on. I mean did anyone have any ideas to add along to this or maybe modify it in a way. I rounded that number to the exp our chuunin are closely at.

[/i] in the survival section? I'd have interest in doing this part, if you haven't gotten any specific details written up about it yet. If you have started writing- I'm definitley butting in once you've finished and jazzing it up and adding some things in, aha!

Also: I'm going to have to agree with Akuma on it. Chuunin exams require missions to be done so I don't see why Jounin exams shouldn't have these requirements as well. It doesn't have to be silly like 10 B-RANKS, just enough to show that they've helped their village through missions in the past and that they're dedicated enough in order to rank up.[/justify][/ul]

I'll be pming some storytellers and/or mods to help me with gming this thing after Fina has given me a start date. As for the third round - it's self explanatory and doesn't need a description.

As far as the exams go, I find them to be adequate. This is similar to testing that the military does for people in various climates. Dump them off with nothing and see how long they can survive. As far as FINDING this cabin, will there be a rule of the cabin being considered a safe zone? I ask, because I can imagine countries wanting to maintain the upper hand, Chuunin killing Chuunin at the door in an attempt to lower their chances of losing in later rounds.

I also ask, if they fail to meet IIC, will they be considered dead or will a proctor grab them, DQ them, and allow them to exit? I only ask because it will happen. People will go inactive, this is just how the site norm for most RPs go.

Also, the idea of keeping them in separate threads MIGHT lead to some problems. How would people interact with each other, should they decide to sabotage one another if they are confined to individual threads? I just ask, because, if I were in the exams, I'd want to sabotage people at the very least with Genjutsu (if I had it).

Just some thoughts. I'll sit on this a bit longer to see if I have anything else to ask.

I really think that the survival round can be elaborated on a bit to make it more challenging. Right now all we have against people is polar bears and the hypothermia gauge- I just think that we could include so much more in to it. Storms, weather conditions effecting the gauge/people, Arctic Wolves etc. Storms are going to be a large part of this section obviously, so I think it should be written down on aspects. I take part in a DoE scheme and I've walked mountains when the snow is falling down so heavily you can only see a few feet in front of you- It makes hell of a difference to visibility and how you walk and move. Hypothermia gauge is a good aspect to have, but the weather is also a great factor that we could bring in to make things harder. GM's could easily just pop in to the thread and say something along the lines of "A storm is brewing! Blah blahblah snowblah bsnow" etc to change the weather rapidly, since snow does come down awful quick.

I also think that in regards to the use of techniques- What's your reason for allowing genjutsu?- It's on the same wavelength as ninjutsu, really- Just without the same effects, obviously. Imo non-chakra using abilities would fare well as a limitation in this but I guess if you wanted to make things interesting you could add in genjutsu, although only a few people go forwards to use it.

I'm not really digging the sly punches you're throwing either such as 'prince' and 'lone-wolf' because its untrue and the fact that you're doing it is really childish - especially when all I'm trying to do is help... In fact I've had help from several others - not including you - which I told you over PM that fina suggested I contact you for, help. All you have given me is feedback on aspects such as 'requirements' and 'mission requirements' and I archived those posts that you DID post here because they had nothing to do with the actual exam portion - which I wanted everyone to focus on.

Don't make me out to be the bad guy - I've asked for help, many times, and not just from you. There was honestly no point for you to come at me the way you have when all you've done is critique me, not pitching in one single project to combine with this - such as another test, which I also stressed to you over pm. Maybe you're not reading my messages thoroughly, and I don't really deserve the attitude that you're coming at me with because I do a lot for the site - and I'm not saying I deserve you to kiss my ass but at least give me the respect to not come at me the way you are.

"side note" - I will take what you have said into consideration concerning your 'professional part of this post' but at least give me somewhat of a rough draft of what you have in mind so we can start working on it please. Also - Ninjutsu actually causes physical reactions and can somehow help the user better in cold climates given certain circumstances. Genjutsu only plays tricks on the mind - therefore strengthening the overall difficulty of these tests.

[/i] since that sounds super dramatic, but it's a dig and I got a bit carried away, but I didn't like it. I'm sorry for not taking part that much in this project, but each time I kept checking back you kept adding new things, so I assumed that you had it handled. And I'm not say that you haven't done things for the site- You've contributed a whole load since you returned, but you do tend to take on projects alone.

Looking back at my last post, I did over-react a whole load, and I apologize for that and you can choose to take it or not- But I was under the impression that you had a structure going since you'd done so much. As far as things go now I should have done much more than just give feedback on what was done and instead just make things. So, Sorry about that.

The only thing is that with the genjutsu part of it, it could be used to try and draw themselves out of situations regarding the animal NPC's that will occur- I'm figuring that genjutsu can be used on animals but- After revising this I guess it would help any chuunin who are genjutsu specialists, as the pattern tends to be that with genjutsu specs tthey're taijutsu terts- Which would make this round very hard surely- Just we'd need to be prepared for the possible risk of people using insane gen in rounds and how we could approach that since I'm sure it might not draw up a complete problem, but it might be a bit tricky!

As far as bits and pieces go, I'll PM you with some in a little that you could add in.
