Sazareishi (Gravel)
Rank: D
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)
Type: Supplementary
Description: A technique intended for trapping, the user slams their hands on the ground and upturns soft earth around a target, then condenses it around them, attempting to immobilize and trap them. Rank: D
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Supplementary, Defensive
Description: This technique grants the user the ability to lower or raise the ground beneath them, or a single ally or target, allowing them to create giant holes or elevations in the ground. The depths that it is lowered or raised to is up to the user. With precise timing, this technique can be used to evade incoming attacks, as well as to endanger opponents that are caught off guard by moving them into the path of an oncoming attack reducing their reaction time as well as knocking them off balance, making it even harder to avoid the attack.
Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu (Double Suicide Decapitation Technique)
Rank: D
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)
Type: Supplementary
Description: When a natural earth source is detected, the user can descend within, with the intent of setting a trap. Doro Gaeshi (Mud Overturn)
Rank: C
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)
Type: Defensive

The strength of this slam is great enough to rip open a section of the earth in front of the user and leverage it up into a wall. This wall of earth shields the user from incoming attack, including approaching physical strikes and projectiles. The defense is not perfect though, as a hard or drilling impact can puncture the wall.
Sokonashi Numa (Bottomless Swamp)
Rank: C
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Defensive
Description: Often referred to as a precursor to the Swamp of the Underground technique, the user turns the ground around a single target into deep mud, causing the target to sink into it until reaching their neck. The mud is very thick, making it difficult for the target to free themselves.

Rank: C
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Description: This technique lets the user condense mud or stone from the ground and shape it into spikes that protrude from the ground in order to skewer a single target. Rank: C
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Offensive
Description: After slamming their hands on the ground, the user sends a fast shower of multiple small sharp rocks from the ground to fly directly at a target. While small, these rock fragments are sharp, and the blast resembles that of a sudden shrapnel shower enveloping the victim from the front.
Hibiware (Fissure)
Rank: C
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Description: A simple technique meant to either deter an incoming attack, or attempt to throw targets off their balance. After the hand seals are formed, a small fissure can be formed in front of the user, spanning horizontally. Unsuspecting victims will then fall into the earth.
Dochūbaku (Earth Pillar Explosion)
Rank: C
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Offensive
Description: An effective surprise attack, this technique causes the ground underneath their target to explode at the user's desired location, damaging and blowing away a single opponent that finds themselves in range - much like a mine. The blast is enough to cause a loss of balance, and the shrapnel of rock and earth can deliver moderate damage.
Doryūkatsu (Earth Flow Divide)
Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Description: By flowing concentrated chakra from one's palms into the ripping veins flowing underground, one can tear the earth apart, creating large chasms. The length, width, direction, and curve of the chasm are shaped and fashioned by the user. Manipulating the veins requires fine chakra control, but if one has such skill, they can use this technique to divide the space between the enemy and their own team in two, destroy enemy camps or defenses, and even to attack.
Iwa Entaigou (Rock Shelter)
Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Defensive, Supplementary
Description: An effective defensive technique best used when the user and potential allies are overwhelmed, the user surrounds themselves with hardened earth and rock taken from the immediate vicinity, creating a dome-like formation that is capable of protecting both the user and others in close proximity. The user can also manipulate the resulting shelter to have small openings in it to be able to observe outside, though this may effect the integrity of the rock shelter.
Kaido Shōkutsu (Opening Earth Rising Excavation)
Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Supplementary
Description: With this technique, the user can bring up on the surface a large earthen volcano from deep underground by slamming their hands on the ground and visualizing an eruption point. This volcano then erupts, shooting earth, mud, stone and rock across the battlefield. While the eruption can only really harm a target if they remain standing while the volcano emerges, the real use of this technique is to provide an ample amount of earth to use for follow up attacks, with the advantage that the earth source has now been spread all over the place, including areal bits. As a bonus, if an ally is also a Doton user, they can employ the proper techniques to roam underground and be launched in air with great strength and speed, allowing for hidden underground allies to resurface all at once, providing an excellent potential for sneak attacks.
Doryuuheki (Earth-Style Wall)
Rank B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)
Type: Defensive. Supplementary
Description: This technique allows the user to create a protective wall out of earth. One method of doing this is for the user to convert chakra in their body into an earthen material that they spit from their mouth; the more skilled the user, the greater the volume of earth that can be created. The earth quickly piles up into a defensive wall, blocking incoming attacks. Although the muddy material is solid on its own, it is further fortified with a coat of chakra, making it more resistant to fire and water than it would otherwise be. A second method of performing this technique is to instead manipulate pre-existing earth directly, as by placing their hands on the ground, users can raise the ground as a barrier in front of them. Walls erected in this way are typically featureless, but users can alter the appearance if they choose. Users are not limited to strictly defensive uses for this technique, as they can create walls behind targets to prevent them from escaping, or even to entirely surround and encase said targets.
Domu (Earth Spear)
Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)
Type: Supplementary
Description: With this technique, the user flows earth-natured chakra through all of their body, causing it to become noticeably darker, all while increasing their defensive power to become as hard as diamond, as well as increasing their striking power. Tsuchi Kairou (Earth Corridor)
Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Offensive
Description: A technique that causes the surrounding earth to rise up over a target, creating a cavern and successfully imprisoning them. The user can leave either leave an opening at the top to allow attacks to enter through the exit, cutting off any way of the target to avoid the being hit, or completely close it up to prevent any form of escape.
Doryuu Taiga (Earth Flow Rivers)
Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)
Type: Supplementary, Offensive
Description: With this technique, the user transforms the surface underneath their opponent into a muddy river that sweeps them off their feet and carries them down stream. This is one of the few Doton techniques that does not require a natural earth source, though if it is performed with real earth available, the transition and holding effects are greater.
Doton Kekkai - Dorou Doumu (Earth Barrier - Earth Dome Prison)
Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Offensive
Description: After striking the ground with their hands, the user is able to overturn the earth and cause it to rise up around their opponents. Placing their hands against the dome once it is formed, they are then able to use their own chakra to spread throughout the dome, thus allowing them to repair any damage their opponents manage to inflict on the inside. However, the chakra is not evenly spread out though, as the chakra flows away from where the user is standing, meaning areas away from the user's hand become weak. As such, this allows the dome to be broken on the far side if it is hit by a hard enough force.
Doryuu Jouheki (Earth Style Rampart)
Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Supplementary
Description: This technique makes a gigantic rampart rise up beneath the user's feet by shaping the ground and increasing the amount of earth with chakra. Depending on what the user imagines, the shape of the rampart can be anything from level ground to a steep, needle-like mountain. When paired with certain Suiton techniques, this can be used to create a giant flowing waterfall.

Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Offensive
Description: Using chakra and great physical strength, the user strikes the ground with their hands and is able to overturn the earth into a large dumpling shape chunk of earth the size of a mausoleum. he mass of dirt is so large as to cast a shadow over the user's opponents and potentially frighten them away. Once attained, the user can lift up the ball and hurl it at their opponent, flattening all in its path, as well as causing serious destruction at the place of impact.
Iwa Yado Kuzushi (Stone Lodging Destruction)
Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)

Upon being dragged to the centre, the victim will then be sucked underground. There the victim, depending on how deep the user makes them sink, will be trapped and potentially suffocated.
Doryuudan (Earth Dragon Projectile)
Rank: A
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Offensive
Description: While a deadly technique, it requires the creation of a mud source, preferably through the use Doryuu Taiga. Once done, the user will do the necessary hand seals and create a dragon-like head from the river of mud that can spew mud projectiles from its mouth. These projectiles are robust and well made as they have Doton chakra flowing through them, proving the projectiles to be quite dangerous. To be more threatening, the user can combine this technique with a fire technique to make the mud balls become searing hot.
Ganchuusou (Rock Pillar Spears)
Rank: A
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Offensive
Description: This technique is lethal because it causes sharp spears made of rock to emerge from the ground in a small area close together at lightning speed. This technique lets the user create a few rock pillars that will protrude from the ground to skewer the target. The rock pillars will even pass through obstacles to reach their target.
Yomi Numa (Swamp of the Underworld)
Rank: A
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Offensive
Description: The user creates a swamp by changing the ground beneath a large area into mud, which the targets found above then sink into. The mud is infused with chakra to make it sticky, ensnaring and preventing escape. The size and depth of the swamp are determined by the user's skill and the amount of chakra used; ideally it will be made large enough for targets to become completely submerged. It is most effective when used against multiple and/or particularly large targets.
Kōka Jutsu (Hardening Technique)
Rank: A
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Description: By utilizing Doton chakra, the user encases their body in surrounding rock creating an impressive armor. However, unlike the Earth Spear technique, this casing can also be used to create extendible weapons to strike a target with.
This allows the user to alter their physical appearance, akin to a costume and mask, giving themselves a larger physique and different face. However, while one can spawn weapons of their imagination made of rock and earth, this technique also adds weight to the user, slowing down their movement.
Tekkenrō (Iron Fist Prison)
Rank: A
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Supplementary
Description: A technique meant to contain large creatures or swaths of enemies, the user creates a large circular arena surrounded by tall walls which emerge from the earth. The field is then completely changed, becoming a large trench with the soil exposed, not leaving any trace of the original vegetation. If the walls are damaged, the user can put in extra chakra in order to regrow them. Unlike other "trapping" techniques, this is meant to cover a wide area for the sake of temporary containment for large targets.
Tōjinbō (Fighting Blade Rods)
Rank: A
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Supplementary, Offensive
Description: While this is not meant to be a directly offensive technique, it does have the ability to trap many opponents in an area and disorientate them. The user causes several large columns of earth and stone to emerge from the ground in random directions and patterns, creating a maze. Its size and complex patterns can disorient opponents, and by memorizing its layout, the user can take advantage and attack from blind spots. If an opponent is in an open area, the user can also attack them directly with a column.
Otoshibuta (Dropping Lid)
Rank: A
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
