"Ahahaha, no, I'm afraid not. First thing I'm doing when I get past the gates is heading straight home. Then I'm going to take the looongest nap ever." said the male with a smile that was a little exaggerated.
"I'm gonna go to bed early too. But first, I'm going to watch anime while I eat something tasty" said the female as they reached the top of the hill.

All of the snow had now becomed a drizzle. This type of rain was quite normal in Kaminari no Kuni and they were probably getting close to the border soon. 'Hm...that mountain chain over there looks quite familiar' thought Yukiko as she squinted a little.
The mountain chain was not that big, but it had a rather pointed mountain right in the middle that was quite famous. Both of them continued the walk back to Kumogakure no Sato while they looked out for stalkers.

"We should be home soon" whispered the girl as she looked up at Atlas for a moment. She whispered in case there were someone nearby that they could not see.
'Eh, what am I thinking!? Senpai is a sensor; he can sense anyone that's probably 30 meters away or something' thought the Genin as they entered a somewhat large forest. Ice blue eyes darted around to see if there were anything nearby that looked out of the ordinary.

They had now reached the path that went up to the village gates. "Have you sensed anything senpai?" muttered the female as she looked up at him. If the answer was no, the duo would walk up the 'forebidden' path to the village gates.
The sun was not that strong anymore and it was clearly afternoon now. 'No wonder my legs are tired...we've been walking for several hours!' thought the brunette as she looked down on the small watch on her wrist.

The male's reaction made the small female laugh in amusement. "C'mon, Yuki. We should probably head out, hm? We can continue our Kagura techniques in Kumogakure when we arrive there later on" said Atlas. "Yeah, I can't wait to get home" said Yukiko before she let out a small yawn.

Her eyes looked at the green watch strapped to her wrist. It showed 07:20 PM...not that late but late enough for someone as young as her. Not to mention that the girl had learned two brand new ninjutsus today.
She walked next to the young man while she wondered how it would be when she got home. Her parents would probably be a little disappointed for not passing, but few people became Chuunin at 10 years old.

'Perhaps I can go next year. I might have a bigger chance to pass then' thought the Genin as they walked towards the hotel they stayed at. You could learn a lot of new jutsus and go on a lot of missions in a year.
'I ALMOST FORGOT THAT! Senpai promised me that we could do any mission that I wanted when we got back home to Kumogakure!' thought the female while a sudden smile formed on her face.

She wanted to go on a high "C"-ranked or maybe even a low "B"-ranked mission if the older Genin was promoted. Both of them had now reached the hotel they slept at. "See you tomorrow after breakfast senpai! Sleep well!" said the brunette as she jogged up to her room. It was time to enjoy the last night without parent supervision; she would eat up the candy plus watching that anime that started in ten minutes.

"So, it went fine, huh?" said the crow with the male's voice. The female jumped, but tried to not make the crow jump off her shoulder in fright. "If you need to expand a bit further, I suggest picturing the landscape beyond in your mind while you are directing the chakra in front of you. Use your imagination, it helps from time to time." said Atlas' voice.
He had just given Yukiko the biggest clue so far; to use the imagination to improve the jutsu.

Crystal blue eyes squinted as they looked a bit further into the forest. But she could not see much further than the birch tree due to the darkness outside, despite the flames that lit up the place. 'Perhaps I should take a look and see what's in there' thought the girl as she walked towards the foliage that was close to the backyard.
'Senpai said he would be twenty meters away, so I should be fine as long as I keep it within 15 meters or something' thought the Genin as she felt her heartrate go up a little. Darkness was actually one of her largest fears despite that she was borne in the middle of the winter.

'OK...there is the birch tree that I managed to get a little past last time. Let's see what can be my next target' thought the female as she looked around in the forest. Her eyes then landed on a somewhat large rock covered with snow on the top.
'He he, it almost looks like an ice cream sundae! I'll try that one next' thought the brunette as she headed back to her start position in the backyard.

"Sorry!" said the girl as she almost made the crow fall off her shoulder. She utilized her small hands to re-position the animal on her shoulder, which was easy since the crow seemed used to humans. 'Time to see if I can get my sensor vision to that rock' thought Yukiko as she started to gather a new amount of the weird energy inside her.
Some uncomfortable chills ran up her spine for a second; it was a sign that her hyouton-chakra nature had increased in strength. It would hopefully be strong enough to extend the range of her mind's eye jutsu.

The female then closed her eyes as she tried to imagine where the rock was in the forest that was right in front of her. 'Focus now!' thought the Genin as her chakra started to stir a bit inside her body. 'My chakra wants to get out, so it's SHOWTIME!' thought the girl as she activated her 'inner eye' with what she had learned.
Everything in front of her looked rather odd, but she was able to see the life energy of some small squirrels in the top of the tree. So far so good...she wondered if it would keep up if she tried to extend her range even further.

Both eyes were shut tightly as her inner eye moved further into the forest in an attempt to find her now hidden senpai. 'Everything is a little more detailed now. I can see the small twigs a bit clearer than before' thought the brunette as she passed a small eucalyptus tree.
She now approached the birch tree; it would definitely get harder from this point. The female tried to stretch her chakra as she came closer to her former target.

'WHAT THE...!' thought Yukiko as her inner eye managed to go a bit further than the birch tree. Her eyes were now on the rock that looked like (in her opinion at the least) like an ice cream sundea with whipped cream.
'Come on, come on, come on!!!' thought the girl as she approached her new goal with a somewhat unsteady speed. Her inner eye came closer to the rock while her chakra worked hard in order to maintain the sensor jutsu. The jutsu eventually reached the rock but the 'sensor vision' disappeared completely after just five seconds or so.

'At least I got further' thought the Genin as she jogged into the forest again in order to find a new goal. She had reached about 13 meters now, so a new target that was about two meters away had to be chosen for her next attempt.
Her choice felt on a log that had moss on it. The female smiled as she went back to the patio. It was time to continue the practice!

Her male senpai congratulated her with how her training had gone. "You want to continue with more Kagura techniques? I've got a while list of 'em. Even one that suppresses chakra. Whaddya say?" said Atlas with his usual smile.

"Mmmm...that sounds kinda dangerous. Can we continue on this jutsu? I want to sense stuff that are further away from me if that's possible. It would be a little weird; I have a Yukina jutsu that can make your range expand every time you learn it" said the female.
That technique was her dominion jutsu that she had trained on numerous times over the last two years or so in order to gain a decent fighting range.

"From what you've told me, that was a pretty stellar first try, Yuki. Most people return from their first trial with dissatisfied looks on their faces- including yours truly. But you seem to have gotten the hang of it, I think. Signs of an awesome sensor, indeed, hm?" said the male with his usual smile on his face. "He he, thanks" said the female with a tiny grin tugging at her lips.

"Keep on trying, imoto. You'll get it soon enough- I'm sure. But this time, center all of the chakra you gather around your entire body, then when you actually begin to activate the innate sensor ability within you, try moving a chunk of that chakra towards your eyes and keeping it there. That's the launching point for your sensory vision." said Atlas.
"RIGHT!" said Yukiko with some determination in her voice; there was no time to fool around at a point like this!

'My chakra has to be gathered around my entire body huh? It seems hard, but at least I know a bit on how my network works' thought the girl as she started to gather a larger amount of chakra for her second attempt on this jutsu.
The weird energy rushed through most of her system, which left her with a rather chilling feel in her body. Both of the Genin's brows knit as she concentrated on the area her chakra would be spread in just a few seconds. She tried to make a mental image on how her body looked like if she stood in a mirror.

'Whoa, this is a strange feeling!' thought the female as her chakra started to spread through her entire body like a stream of some sort. 'Concentrate now...I should be able to see something soon' thought the brunette as she closed her eyes.
A small breeze passed her; it felt colder than normal despite that her whole body except her face was covered in clothing. Perhaps the cold breeze was a sign of that her chakra sensed her surroundings? The girl had no idea so far, but she would find it out quite soon.

'Maybe I should send some of my chakra to the eyes now' thought Yukiko as she decided to move on with this jutsu. She concentrated again as she tried to pull some of the weird energy towards her eyes in a steady manner.
Sadly, it was a lot harder than the female had thought it would be. The chakra would get up there, but it would take much more time than the Genin had imagined. 'I WILL do this!' thought the Genin as she tried to make the chakra go up through her neck region.

All of her tiny hairs in the said area stood up like they had been exposed to something that was subzero or close to it. 'Almost there...!' thought the girl when she felt the chakra amount come closer to her eyes. Once the weird energy had gotten up to the designated area, the image of the weird forest appeared once more.
But it was a lot clearer this time and contained a bit more details to it as well. A smile formed on the brunettes face since this was a very obvious sign of progress on her work.

'Hm...I wonder how senpai looks like now' thought the female as her inner eyes shifted a little to her side to look at him. The blue aura around him was stronger with a bit more detail to him as well. All of this disappeared after ten seconds or so.
"I could see the forest and your aura a bit better. But I need more chakra since it was very hard to send it to my eyes. It felt like I was trying to pull on a piece of hard gum" said Yukiko and hoped her senpai did not think her last words sounded weird.

The male smiled as he leaned forwards, poking her forehead. "I promised you sensor techniques, didn't I? And the crow man keeps his promises." said Atlas. "Yeah, you did" replied the small female. It was night time now; they should probably head back to the hotel before it became too late. But where should they train?

"We'll head over there. Looks comfortable enough. And I don't see any chairs around." said the young man as he gestured towards a back garden with a toss of his head. Yukiko followed him over; there were a couple of flat stones they could sit on. At least they did not have to move as much...she had walked around all day.

"Here, take a seat. I'm a bit tired from that walk through the snow- you might be, too." said the older Genin. The girl nodded in agreement as she sat down on the smaller stone he had gestured her to sit on.
"So, anything you want to go over before we start with the first technique, kiddo? We left the smoothie place in a bit of an unexpected rush- if you had any questions then you can ask 'em now." said the male.

"I have one question. Just HOW exactly do we train on this!?" asked the small Genin as she looked a little above him, her voice a bit desperate. She did knew how to train basic shinobi arts like genjutsu; but this was quite new to her.
Sensor things would be useful to know though...especially on espionage or single missions. But perhaps the brunette next to her had an idea?
