It was all a game of hide and seek really. To see who could find the other first. I was slightly amused, but more focused than anything. Strapped, and ready to go, I had traveled from Mizu no Kuni to Kusa no Kuni. I didn’t really have a reason. I was only here for questioning. With the death of two Raikage, I wanted to know who the culprit was. They would be forcefully brought to justice by my hands. If I could determine their abilities, maybe I could take them down on my lonesome. It’s not a feat I would boast about, but something I could add to my record of accomplishments. Ignoring the notion, I allowed my feet to carry my onward. Honestly, I didn’t know where to start. But anywhere was better than nowhere.
I had previously broken down the sections of the country within my mind. First, I’d check the north. Then south, east, and west. My journey was long, but that isn’t the most interesting part about it. On the way, I encountered three travelers. They seemed to know a lot about shinobi, but possessed no distinct skills. After gathering information from them, I had pointers of where to look. Kumogakure and Kusagakure were allies, meaning with or without an envoy, my entrance would surely be granted. For the sake of the title Raikage, I would find who killed my leaders, and rip them to shreds. It was only a matter of time before they crossed my path, and when they dead, surely they would rue the day.
Once I collected the word of mouth of every individual I crossed, there was only one location left. The forestry was abundant, but it was perfect for concealing…a village. Kusagakure was definitely this way. It was a feeling not even I could shake. Following my first mind led by my heart, I dug deep into territories foreign to my own. Their style was different, but each of its shinobi had uniqueness. By just breathing in the air, you could smell the sweet aroma of flowers attempting to lure you into its trap. I admired the sanity Kusagakure brought to me. I could get used to a place like this, but my loyalty will remain where it stands. Waving down the guards from the distance, they would surely notice my approach. All I wanted to do is speak with the Kusagakure. I heard much about them, but never had a chance to meet them.
