And then it happened, the ground shook, nay the entire building shook. Bottles fell from the shelves of the bar, chairs, tables, many other things fell over as well. What was this? As if he had to ask, a battle was obviously going on. Yet when screams erupted from the streets he knew it to be far from the norm. Rising from his seat he'd straighten his jacket as a new grin appeared across his face. This was not his city, not his home, he would not protect it, but he would seek out those who was behind all of this. Yet his cold blood burned for a good fight....

Tongue wetting his lips as he charged through the streets he'd see much destruction, yet no pause came from his feet. And as he ran the terrain went from normality, to slight damaged buildings, and then it was just hell. Nothing, but rubble with burnt and mangled bodies strewn about. Oh someone was brutal now weren't they? But, it was not until that point had he looked high up, to which he would now see two large bears in the distance, a larger one in the nearer distance, and three....angels? Tilting his head to the side he would not stop his run. Which in reality hadn't been that long of a run as he had originated about twenty meters from the three "angels, and by time he had stopped running he was five away, still at their blind sides. Tilting his head still he couldn't help, but shake the feeling that something was odd in the air. Stabbing the air itself with his tongue his eyes narrowed. Yes, something more was behind the veil, something bound by fate.

With a cloud of mist ahead, in front of the angels, he'd merely watch for now. Though he was prepared to attack.

Special: By default, this jutsu allows the user to move one appendages (legs or arms) to stretch. Description: Nan Kaizou is one the most essential Kagehebi Nintaijutsu technique, as it allows a ninja to make their body extremely malleable, much like a snake. It was originally developed for spying activities, but perfected in the hands of the Kagehebi and their natural snake-infused blood. When used the clan member can stretch and twist their body at any angle, allowing them to surprise their opponents, spy on situations normally out of reach, and react much like a snake would. The only drawback is that while malleable, their bodies are highly susceptible to damage in this form as their bone structure is no longer ‘normal’.

Description: An advaced version of Senei Jashu, the Kagehebi now controls a massive amount of snakes at once in order to subdue their opponent. As before, once the user's hand is extended in the direction of their target, a torrent of snakes erupt from the sleeve and manifest onto the chosen target. Once extended the snakes can wrap around and bite into the target to hold and bind them.

Shitasaki (Tip of Tongue)

Special: Allows the user to detect the presence of prey or predator within the immediate vicinity. Range is determined by users skill in this jutsu. Starting at 10 meters and increasing by 10 meters every rank. Can be used once per thread, plus once more each rank learned.
Description: Snakes are able to user their elongated forked tongue to both taste and smell. By using this tongue, they are able to sample particles in the air, water, or ground to determine the presence of prey or predator within the area. This allows them to react to danger or seek out their prey with greater efficiency. The Kage-hebi duplicate this skill using their own elongated tongues to detect any creatures in the vicinity; whether through their smell or taste. This method of detection can be foiled with the proper strategy.

Description: By channeling their chakra into their skin, Kage-Hebi users are able to change the properties of their skin to replicate scales like those of a snake. These scales effectively provide the user with armored skin to grant them enhanced durability. This technique is not confined to the Kage-Hebi themselves and can extend to their summoned snakes as well. Color of scales created is up to the users discretion.

The Kapuas Mud Snake has been found to freely change color when it feels threatened. Attempting to copy this ability, the Kage-Hebi have created a technique to perfectly blend in with their surroundings, however, the camouflage is not reactionary. This means the camouflage will not change when the user is moving; only when they have stopped.

Gen'ei-Hebi (Snake Vision)

Special: Allows the user to see and track heat signatures. Is able to see through walls but heat signatures are blurry when hidden by non-transparent objects. User must close their eyes.
Description: Pit vipers, pythons, and some species of boa possess the ability to "see" the radiated heat from warm-blooded animals through special sensors located between the nostril and eyes. Like many Kage-Hebi techniques, this ability is based off these snakes abilities to see heat and allowing the user to see in infrared. This helps in tracking targets in the dark or when they are hidden by non-transparent objects.

Udehebi (Arm of the Serpent)

Special: Strength gained is equivalent to the users skill in Nan-Kaizou. Number of limbs that can be transformed is dependent on the users skill in Nan-Kaizou.
Description: This technique is an add-on to the Nan-Kaizou technique all Kage-Hebi are known to possess. When a Kage-Hebi extends their limb, they are able to transform said extended limb into a large anaconda-like snake. This grants the users extended limb extra durability due to being a large snake while at the same time enhancing the extended limbs strength.

Saragi no Mai (Snake Pit Dance)

Description: This technique allows the user to "store" their main weapon within their body. Though the weapon is stored within the body, any damage done to the user does not cause damage to the weapon nor does the weapon damage the user. At will, the user is able to regurgitate the weapon from their mouth or summon a snake from their mouth with the weapon inside said snake. This technique also allows the user to retrieve their weapon from any distance by allowing the weapon to transform into a snake and letting it slither back to its owner.

Hisan-Hebi (Flying Snake)

Special: Distance user glides/flies is 10 meters plus another 10 per rank. The higher the initial launch point, the farther the user is able to fly. User is able to turn in the air once per flight plus another turn per rank. Speed at which user flies/glides is equal to half the speed of their skill in Jatai no Daija.
Description: The Chrysopelea, or more commonly known as the flying snake is a unique snake due to its ability to glide long distances; enabling it to cut on travel time and energy. The Flying Snake is able to perform this feat by sucking in their stomachs and flaring out their ribs to create a pseudo-concave wing. Using this, they are able to glide across the air and even possess the ability to maneuver in the air by using lateral undulation. Kage-Hebi users are able to copy this ability by creating a layer of skin between their arm and body to mimic a Flying Snakes pseudo-concave wing. With this, they are able to glide/fly across the air great distances and even turn in air by using their snake-like lower half via Nyoronyoro-Hebi Mo-do (Slithering Snake Mode).

Copying this basic function, Kage-Hebi practitioners have learned to create a filer over their own eyes that protects them from intense light and invisible UV rays. This technique even allows Kage-Hebi's to state at the sun without harm or discomfort.

In a similar style, the Kage-Hebi user supplies an amount of Chakra to their hand or extended limb to increase its physical abilities; granting them a strong grip similar to an anacondas bite or giving their extended limb the ability to squeeze their opponent with enough force to make their head pop.

Ninjutsu (忍術; Literally meaning "Ninja Techniques") refers to any technique that utilities chakra and allows the user to perform actions that a normal person otherwise would be incapable of doing. Unlike genjutsu, which causes the opponent to experience illusions, the effects of ninjutsu are actual and physical in most cases. Ninjutsu relies on chakra and, most of the time, hand seals to be effective.

The hands are put in sequential positions that molds and manipulates chakra in the necessary manner to perform a technique. This is not always needed, however, and some techniques become second nature to experienced ninja, after which they can perform them at will. Additionally, many ninjutsu can be classified as an elemental techniques, in those cases where a specific element (wind, water, fire, earth, or lightning) is used.

Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique)

Special: Switch is near-instantaneous. Kawarimi can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained. However, the technique itself can only be used once per turn, regardless of retraining. Requires the user to switch with objects equal or smaller in size; cannot switch with other living people or animals.
Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack - i.e. exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.

Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique)

Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique)

Special: Allows the user to create a clone without substance that resembles the user in every way, including retaining its movement speed. Clones cannot mold chakra nor perform jutsu, nor can they harm. Up to one clone can be made, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance that, although easily seen through by those with doujutsu, can fool the normal eye easily. Why? Simply because although without substance, the copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent, though no real damage can be done by it. Finally, as soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

Kakuremino no Jutsu (Magic Cloak of Invisibility Technique)

Taijutsu (体術; Literally meaning "Body Techniques") is a basic form of techniques that typically does not require chakra, though chakra may be used to enhance its techniques. Taijutsu is simply put: hand-to-hand combat.

Tenjouken is an unarmed fighting style unique to Amegakure. It, like Goken, focuses on powerful techniques in an attempt at causing extreme external damage. It's movements are quick and deliberate, aiming at moving in the most efficient manner in order to utilize the body's maximum speed and power. Unlike Goken, it has no techniques that utilize the Eight Inner Chakra Gates, and instead relies on heavy discipline and raw physical power.

standing at an exact six feet and four inches, yuu's length and height are well rounded with toned muscle that separates him from many others of his size who are rather gaunt. dark orange locks also seperate him from the norm within his family as his siblings all have lighter shades of orange hair to which his pale skin is also opposite to their fairer coloured complexions. Choosing to wear mixtures of red and black attire he keeps things formal yet battle ready. his sea-green eyes are known to change to a shade of light blue at varying times surrounding the year's time.

a bit of an odd ball, at least within his family, yuu is rather egotistical. and despite being the second eldest among his siblings he acts as if he is the oldest with many years in the gap. as such in the past he has been known for toying with his brothers and sister, taking a dominant older brother "protector" role at times, while at other times picking at their personality, and poking fun of them. though never too serious, he knew he struck their nerves by the reaction in their eyes. and while he is an individual first and foremost always, he finds himself loyal to amegakure if only for personal gain. as such it doesn't bother him that his elder sister was taken and experimented on, rather he favored it as he hoped it would put more spotlight on himself, albeit he was wrong. nonetheless he considers himself now the eldest child and has since demanded that his younger siblings treat him as such up until they left the village during the war. and even though he has not seen them since he still holds a connection to them, though it is more than likely one that can easily be severed should they press him.

The war had all but destroyed the past, but from the rubble rose a pale snake, a lord of his realm. The Snake Lord known as Yuu had risen amongst smoldering corpses of young and old alike, yet their bodies nor their stench phased him in the least. Alive and free from any serious harm he would meet up with the escort group that was moving his older sister to a new location to continue experiments. To which all he could think of was his younger siblings fleeing the village, cowards. They themselves didn't know that Yuu directly worked for those who had taken their precious older sister. What would they have done if they did know? Would they attack him? Who did they think made it so easy for them to take their sister in the midst of the night without a fight? Yuu of course, the pale teen had put a simple addition to his sister's drink, making her rest deeper than she could have hoped for. He had even played the part of defending brother only to fake a defeat.

Oh how the past brought a grin to his pale pink lips as the cold rain hit him. though once arriving at the new base he was quickly given new assignment. He was to become a nuke-ninja, orders from the governing force of Amegakure themselves, to be one of their agents in the field. Taking his orders he'd leave within less than an hour. Ever since that night he'd taken his mission to heart, forging his way through the shinobi world as a former Amegakure Genin gone rogue, though his role as a continued Genin was all a lie as well even when in the village. Though whispers had caught his ears, ones of an orange hair both young boys and of former Amegakure allegiance...His brother...his sister. So they had grown up had they? It would make passing the time so much more exciting now with those two involved.
