How long had I babysat these two fallen comrades? To be honest, time seemed to just pass by endlessly for me. My eyes constantly taking in chakra from my network. It would need all the chakra it could get as I monitored their vitals. At first it would be Faust, whom seemed to revive with a flare of chakra. He revealed before my Byakugan his lightning nature, which was becoming more and more familiar to me. It was becoming colour coded just as each person's unique chakra colour was starting to become familiar. When one asked the colour of their soul, my Byakugan would tell you. However I needed to push this cursed doujutsu further! I needed to see more, I wanted to see further!

That was when my eyes picked up on my other comrade, Kaguya Namitsuki. The bones within his body seemed to be construing and shaping for combat. He was reborn, thus the gods of combat had blessed my squad with one more bout. They would need to focus intensely if they wanted to master the skills they tested. Likewise, I too would be focused intently on their fight but before I could do that...I'd need to get out of the danger zone. As luck would have it no rather my own foresight, I constantly emitted a minor amount of chakra. My essence trailing the ground and tickling the fancy of a stray log. Namitsuki had already itched to attack the Uchiha right away, regardless of the fact that I was within his strike range. Had we not been on a special "mission" I may have just struck his tenketsu for acting so blindly. Instead, I'd allow his bones to penetrate my form in order to get to Faust.

Of course, all that would remain is a log which was easily torn through should my partner lack the finesse to avoid my placement. Regardless, the only way I could push my Byakugan and its foresight was to throw myself into the heat of battle. They could attack each other, aiming to have me as a casualty, of course...that's assuming they could hit me in their state of battle lust. For one thing, it seemed they only had eyes for each other, it was funny how men got this way. I wanted to see just how far it would go, considering their levels of chakra and stamina respectively.

It figures, the only person I know who could be so non-chalant on a mission, Kaguya Namitsuki. Here I was focusing on my surroundings, my effort all poured into Byakugan. While I hunted, he...was being lecherous, with me as his prize. Oh he must have known his liberal touches wouldn't be recriprocated with violence...for now. That didn't mean I wouldn't pay him back when we got home. For now though..."Nammmiiii~ you know I can't concentrate when you do thaaaatttt." this was a far-cry from my usual tomboyish antics. I really didn't like being touched in this way because it made me feel...weak and...helpless...and...like a woman. It was an insult to my tomboyish pride but for now I took note of our dilema. The two groups of chakra weren't moving, rather they were placed tweenty meters apart. I had my doubts about what was happening, so I decided to go with a simple tactic.

"Faust-san, go and be our decoy. Simply distract both sides of the chakra signatures while we'll double around far right. Once I've got sight of the village, I'll mark it down and we'll fall back immediately."

I instructed my comrades, since I had the tool necessary to get this little venture done once and for all. With our little two-pronged approach and Nami at my side, I was rather confident in avoiding the trap of either squadron and thus, upon being within range of this large source of chakra...

"So this is that wretched village, I'm almost sure of it..."

Considering the varying source of chakra signatures, they didn't need a sign to stand out anymore than this. I'd remain hidden in a high vantage point, making sure to keep myself out of sight. Benath my red cloak, my hands would retrieve the map entrusted to me. Ah thanks to the power of Byakugan, I could read the map without revealing it to any hidden ninja, likewise I'd be able to mark down my co-ordinates safely. Did this mark Konohagakure, I was confident but ultimately...

80 Meters?! I couldn't help but blink, yet my comrades didn't seem nearly as affected. Namitsuki passed by my person, making a snide remark about my eyes before indulging in his usual perverted antics. I pouted as he did but Faust's sudden burst of youthful energy distracted me from any desire to pummel my best friend/rival for his indecency. In fact, seeing the Uchiha so youthful and happy, clone or not was a rare sight. Still, I kept a sharp look-out until he made his climb. I then spoke up for just Namitsuki to hear.

"Prepare your doton jutsu and then scale the wall. I'll climb with you and keep a good look out. This area must be on watch by Konoha."

That was all I had to say, as I too would be climbing the waterfall, my eyes constantly looking across the cardinal directions as I climbed. I needed to push the extent of my Byakugan's range, no fifty meters in any direction would be left without me checking. Thankfully being a taijutsu specialist, scaling the wall wouldn't tire me out, though it certainly took some time. Once I made it to the top, I'd double over and pant, playing my role as a "civilian" for any on-lookers to see. Though with my hood shadowing my face, it'd be hard to make out any details of my expression.

"Was this really necessary for a bunch of civilians, we should have hired escorts or something." I'd begin to pace ten meters left and right. Careful to keep my head down, yet keeping a stern look-out in all directions now that I was at the top of the climb. Should my eyes pick up on a sign of the village, that's probavly where we'd go next.

"Earlier, Mr. Nami you asked how things would turn out. Well, there's a squad of shinobi 50 meters into the forest and approaching our general direction. I'd rather not be haggled by Hi no Kuni's patrolmen, so let's head towards the waterfall. That'd provide the most escape routes if we were ambushed by bandits." As Little Red Riding Hood, I had to speak with this tone of voice. I was just trying to get to my employer's village after all. Also, I felt bad for having to cut off Namitsuki-san the way I did. Hopefully, he'd extract my sincerity from our false ruse.

Likewise, Faust had caught wind of what I was doing. He was probably checking with his own eyes, so I felt assured that no genjutsu or any chakra trails were around our being. Now I wanted to get us moving before we got caught by that squad from konohagakure. I'd quickly run on ahead, albeit deinty and cute; towards the direction with the waterfall. Caves meant a one way road, and the only escape route was backwards.

A waterfall meant various entries and exits, plus we could really use fresh water in case this became a dragged out affair. Lastly, the stealth of the waterfall might lead to a hidden cave. As I ran, while I didn't keep the blessings of the wretched Hyuuga family enabled, I did make sure to look ahead, towards my left, then right. I trusted Namitsuki with my back and Faust to watch our rear with those red eyes of his. His own dirty poncho and hood, hopefully enough to mask his Sharingan. This would be our formation for now, unless danger happened. In the event of danger, I'd be instantly switching positions with Namitsuki where I was more usefull.

Also thanks to my previous peak, I'd be able to take note of the surroundings leading up to the Waterfall. I'd guide our merry band of travelers, along in such a manner that we'd blend in and out of any trees, just in case that patrol were to gain any more ground. I didn't want them to see us and the route we'd take.

Thankfully we had detoured the travel route of Kaminari a few times. One for our training session within a closed off clearing, the other to regroup after our initial sweep. Now it seemed we were back on the road again. Normally I would wish to avoid the main roads, but I noted that many a merchant traveled these roads. Many with shinobi protection, but some didn't have such. Perhaps they felt they could fend for themselves or were on route to purchase protection from our rival village? Then was it not appropriate that we play the part ourselves?

Naturally, this was how we'd setup for this little adventure. My partner was cleverly disguised with his poncho. Dirty, ragged, honestly...he must have struggled to travel this far or so the disguise portrayed. As for myself, I was a fellow traveler, seeking employment. My attire was that of a waitress, for in my part time I assisted my mother's cafe back home. As a kunoichi, I was trained to blend in with civilians well, so this attire was worn with the grace of a professional (plus I really did know the job inside out, we all need to put money in our pocket when missions are scarce). Neither of us had our Kumo identification, that being our forehead protectors worn. That was suicide in enemy lands and considering the amount of Samurai everywhere, a cause for them to penalize our village.

Yes, Samurai had become the peace keepers of the world. They policed the affairs of shinobi because we were too stupid to do it ourselves. Like my comrade Faust, I shared his resentment that our village had to bow down to these petty international agreements. Alas, the elders wished it so back home, as did the other nations. So like good ninja, we came in disguise and traversed peacefully. I myself had to do some additional cosmetic changes, such as tying up my hair into a neat bun, complete with hairpin. My eyes an innocent cherrywood, thanks to the contacts I always wore for protection.

Protection you ask? For my identity of course, wouldn't want those pesky Hyuuga causing a reckus. Now then, despite walking this path I did my best to look humble, reserved, and a bit wary. I was a young girl, most likely from an outskirt village, trying to get a job. Not just that, I could easily be jumped, even with a humble merchant by my side. So of course it was no surprise that I had a Katana to my side. My "father" would not let me leave home without it, a memento of his love. Of course, that was my story; should any Samurai wish to halt us. As for my pouch, that was hidden with the layers of my waitress attire. Complimenting with my apron, eyes none the wiser would even know, yet I possesed all my tools. Though I wouldn't be able to walk with either my hidden blade or senbon launcher. No those would be safely stored away in the pouch for now.

Within one of the pockets of my apron though, I did at least have access to my senbon, just to be safe. It was placed inconspicously, so as not to bring attention to anything in the pockets themselves. Lastly, I'd avoid eye contact as best as possible. A red cloak would adorn my features to top off my attire, complete with a hood which I had pulled over my head. Yes, for today you could call me Little Red.
