Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique)

Special: Switch is near-instantaneous. Kawarimi can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained. However, the technique itself can only be used once per turn, regardless of retraining. Requires the user to switch with objects equal or smaller in size; cannot switch with other living people or animals.
Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack - i.e. exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.

Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique)

Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique)

Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance that, although easily seen through by those with doujutsu, can fool the normal eye easily. Why? Simply because although without substance, the copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent, though no real damage can be done by it. Finally, as soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

Special: Shunshin no Jutsu is a high-speed movement in which the user moves in a linear fashion from one point to another. Usually facilitated with some sort of distraction (smoke bomb, explosion, or something of that nature to obscure one's vision), the user of the Shunshin no Jutsu can, in some cases, appear to have simply teleported from one location to another. Shunshin no Jutsu can be used once per thread, plus once more each time it is retrained.
Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique, it simple combines high mobility with a distraction to give off the appearance of vanishing - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to.
Domain: Shunshin - Universal Ninjutsu.
Notice: Contrary to popular belief, this technique is by no means instantaneous. While a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, you're still quite visible and easily defended against. Simply put, it isn't incomprehensibly fast. Beyond normal, most definitely, but not nearly as fast as it's been portrayed thus far. In order to achieve maximum effect, you'll need to combine it with a distraction of some sort.

Highest rank known also determines detection time, as well as the amount of chakra-related masteries needed in order for that level of Kagura to be reached. Keep in mind chakra masteries do not need to be from the same group; as long as it has chakra, any form of ninjutsu mastery (from releases to clan jutsu) will do.

Description: Kagura Shingan is an advanced Sensory Ninjutsu technique used by all sensors, and serves as the root to the entire sensory tree. Description: The root behind Shoton's unbridled power comes from the ability to crystallize anything, as well as manipulate already-existing crystals and crystalline structures. Sekisuisho can crystallize any solid substance, so releases such as Earth, Water, and Wood techniques are virtually useless against it. Using crystal ninjutsu, the user can crystallize any physical material and even the moisture in the air around them, turning them into a weapon. The only apparent weakness of the crystallization process is that it cannot crystallize either raw energy or chakra as they have no physical mass to crystallize, allowing a person with either energy-based jutsu, such as Lightning, Fire, or Wind, or even someone simply with good chakra control to properly counter it. Finally, all Shoton creations are also susceptible to a specific sound wave frequency; because crystal requires a very precise build-up of molecules, the proper sound waves can break down the build-up before the crystal can properly form.

Description: As its name implies, the Shuriken Wild Dance is a projectile raining of pure crystal, aimed and controlled wherever it is the user desires. It is at this time that the shuriken are shot forward and blinding speeds, twice that of a kunai, streaking across thin air and towards their unfortunate target.

Description: Although basic, the Needle Restraint technique is nonetheless effective. After forming a few simple seals, the Shoton user summons a flurry of fast moving crystal pillars from underneath their target's feet. The aim is not to injure them, but to overwhelm their body in staffs of crystal that prevent movement and best of all, drain the user of chakra slowly in order to power and reinforce the prison.

Description: After having binded the opponent with the Crystal Needle Restraint technique, the user will complete another string of handseals to cause the pillars to explode. The crystallized pillars explodes into tiny shrapnel, damaging the opponent's entire body and normally hindering their ability to properly use movements afterwards. This technique is normally used to help impair the opponent in order to set them up for an even stronger technique.

Special: Mirrors can be created on any preexisting Shoton creation, or made new. While this jutsu is active, only one mirror can be made at a time, plus one more each time relearned.
Description: One of the most dangerous aspects of Shoton is that the very crystal creations made can serve as birthing points for new variations. In this case, the crystal user can now alter their creations so as to include a large, crystal mirror in the shape of a snowflake - whether the mirror is made on the spot or comes from another jutsu is irrelevant - in order to provide a pathway for its master. Crystal mirrors, once created, serve as portals for the Shoton user to travel to freely. As long as there is at least one mirror in place to enter, the user may alter space and time in order to hide; with more in place, the possibilities are endless. However, there is one flaw - if the creation of crystal that houses the mirror is destroyed all at once while the Shoton user is phased out, they remain trapped in the alternate space-time forever.

Suisho Bunshin no Jutsu (Jade Crystal Clone Technique)

When struck, the clone's crystalline essence can withstand up to one attack equal to their 'Shoton Ryuuken' rank before being destroyed; when destroyed, they will explode in a see of crystal shards one rank less than their 'SR' rank, covering a 5 meter diameter. Finally, Crystal clones can cast any known general Crystal jutsu one rank less than the highest rank known in 'Shoton Ryuuken', but whatever attacks they perform will still draw from the user's chakra pool.
Description: By manipulating the crystal around them to their will, the Shoton user is able to create multiple clones of themselves from pure crystal. Because of this, when defeated, they will explode and crumble into many small, razor sharp crystal shards. Crystal clones are also able to deceive advanced doujutsu such as the Byakugan, tricking their users into seeing the Chakra Pathway System of the clone as that of a normal human being's, unlike in the situation with a normal clone generated. The best part about the clones is that despite their essence, they retain their swift movement, making them both hard to hit and dangerous when defeated - as they die off, they explode and leave everyone around to deal with the wrath of the flying shards.

Kessho no Yoroi (Crystal Armor Defense)

Description: Once the crystal user learns to control the strength of their element, they are able to form more advanced creations. This technique makes crystal chakra flow through the body, absorbing the properties in order to form a skin-deep armor that is transparent and is only visible when light reflects off it. By doing this, the user effectively covers their skin with a thin sheet of crystal, protecting themselves from blunt-force attacks and trauma, as well as enabling them to perform stronger, more powerful physical strikes and break free or through restraints and walls. Best of all, despite encasing the user's body, the armor has no apparent affect on the user's speed or agility.

Description: Although basic, this technique can nonetheless put the Shoton user in an advantage over opponents with a higher skill than their own. After a few seals, the crystal is birthed all around the user's target, so that the crystal traps the victim in a small, round, crystal prison. Although this does not crystallize anything, it serves to keep people, or things, in place.

Omiwatari no Jutsu (The Gods' Crossings Technique)

Description: A viciously offensive Shoton ninjutsu, the name comes from a natural phenomenon of the region from which the first Shoton user's existed, which involved winter and the way hotsprings existed within frozen lakes, thus producing odd cracks in the ice. With this jutsu, the user places their hand on a surface, creating a long stream of sharp crystals at frightening speeds in order to to bind and pierce a target.

Description: Upon completing the secret seals, the user crystallizes a material within their crystallizing area, and then quickly uses their chakra to morph it into a dragon. Large, fast, dangerous, the beast can be used as a means to travel or even to attack a target, as its essence of crystal allows it to serve as a vector for any Shoton jutsu the user knows.

Special: Can only be channeled through one's hand(s). Highest jutsu rank determines amount of chakra transfered per use. Chakra leeching can occur on any surface, living or non-living, as long as it contains chakra. In order for leeching to succeed, contact with the victim must be established. Thus, highest rank known ALSO establishes the amount of contact time is needed before the leeching can begin. Keep in mind that while Akadou can absorb chakra from anything, they can still be overwhelmed by it, as well as receive its side-effects (for example, you can't put your hands to a Raiton shield-type jutsu and expect to absorb anything without getting shocked.)

Description: The root of all Akadou jutsu, Chakra Kyuuin no Jutsu is a special ninjutsu techinque used to quickly extract a victim's chakra for the purpose of using it for oneself . After activitating the technique, the user's hands will glow a neon-blue color, the sign of reverse-flow chakra. As they place their palm on their opponent's body, or any chakra surface for that matter, they can proceed to withdraw the physical and spiritual energy out of them. By reducing the opponents chakra, it greatly increases their overall advantage in battle.

Chakra Ichida no Jutsu (Chakra Paralysis Technique)

Special: Can only be channeled through one's hand(s). Paralysis lasts as long as the user's hands are on the opponent. Highest rank known determines the amount of chakra required to break the paralysis; that is, afflicted victim must provide a chakra burst one rank higher than the one being used by the Akadou in order to break free (for example, the 'D' ranked version uses 'Very Low' chakra on the user's part, so the victim must provide a burst of 'Low' or more in order to break free!).
Description: With this variation of 'Chakra Kyuuin', the Akadou finally learns to enhance the potency of their special chakra, to the point it renders their victim's useless midst leeching. Rather than just provide discomfort through absorption, the victim will now be forcefully paralyzed while being touched unless they can provide a chakra surge larger than the one overtaking them.
