The trio exited the confines of the mission compound, stepping into a glorious ray of light that broke through the clouds as a spear would a shield. Gin headed them, retrieving the information on their "chores" from within his robe and read over them carefully. To his knowledge, one of them had been completed before, and with an added person the task would take no time. The other three were foreign to him, but didn't appear as if they were too difficult. In terms of saving time, the closest to them would be helping the villagers out with home damage and assisting them in rebuilding. There were several instances where a home received some roof damage, or a merchants shack would collapse. He mentally marked multiple areas of interest, and went to the next page to look it over.

After going over them, he turned to Satsui and Kyobona, giving the usual nod that indicated that he was ready to march. His arms were thrown back wards as he pushed off onto the rooftops to head to one of the main merchant streets in Kumogakure, where several shacks had been reported to have broken down and needed assistance with the reconstruction. Once there, the group took to the pathway, walking down the road. Stopping, Gin spun on his heel to turn and speak to his brother's.

"We're going to split up and help one person each. These shacks shouldn't be too hard to put up, even with my physique. Be done in an hour or be left behind."

Turning, he began to walk in the opposite direction of them, calling out, "And that means you don't get any of the reward!"

He didn't care who the other two went to help, from the rooftops, he had picked out a person in need some ways off. It seemed as if one side of their stall had collapsed, and the shack behind him was somewhat damaged as well. The harm done appeared minimal as Gin approached the site of distress. He walked up to the merchant who managed the stand, who seemed extremely frustrated with trying to hold up the roof of the stall long enough to replace the beams that held it up. The passersby did nothing in their ability to help him out, and so it was up to the shinobi of Kumogakure no Sato to save the day.

To his surprise, the trader was fairly old. You'd usually find these types managing a job behind the door with their grandson or own flesh and blood, but this man seemed to be alone. Gin offered his help to the man as he advanced upon the broken stall, giving a reassuring smile and nod to him as he spoke.

"Here, let me help you with this." He moved, lifting the top of the shack up with relative ease. The old man blessed the boy, stating that he was was the man's savior. Gin cast away his idolizing, stating that he was simply a Genin of Kumogakure, and as such, it was his duty to assist his village and it's civilians in times of need. Some sense of pride shot through the boy when speaking this. The old man simply gave a weak smile through his words, his old voice rasp and drawn out.

"Ah, this new generation sure has some fine youngins'..."

Gin grinned at the comment. Through some more work, they had repaired the entire stall. Of course, he left the engineering to the old man who obviously knew more about repairing than he did. All he had to do was lift things.

In the back of his mind, he knew it was a drag.

But hey, he was getting paid for it, right?

"Right."

Gin tried to crack a smile, but was unable to. His body had been completely worn out, and to pretend that he had a good time sevring his village would have been a lie. However, it wasn't the village he did it for. It was for the ryo and the physical training. Gin wasn't the biggest of children, and was no doubt one of the smallest in his family. His size and muscle density paled in comparison to those like Satsui. Taking a detour, Gin had to go and drop off the pick he had borrowed from the old blacksmith. Unfortunately, he may not have wanted it back. Both of it's points by now were completely dull, rendering the mining tool useless. Ah well.

Off to the compound they went.
