Hirihi would take a seat in the snow with her knees pulled up to her chest, looking forward towards the ground and resting her head against her knees. Her head was throbbing from being exhausted, but no longer casting jutsus was something that was making it far less painful to deal with. As she listened to the words of her teacher, Hirihi wondered quietly what she could possibly teach her that was something of equal value as that. Sighing, Hirihi couldn't think of anything that she could practically put to use without the use of a dead body to practice on.

As she sat quietly thinking, Hirihi looked out to the snow and considered a few things that she hadn't really considered. They were in a part of the world where the cold was horrible. Frostbite was something common that could be seen among the mountains and in the colder areas of the world. In such circumstances, amputations had to be done. In those circumstances, one would need to use a technique that would both close the wound and sterilize it from infection such as gangrene. "There is something I can teach you. It has a practical application in both a healing fashion, as well as combat." Hirihi said, looking up at Blanche as she thought quietly to herself whether she would be willing to learn such a thing.

"It's close to the same level of technique, but I don't know many techniques that are of the A rank caliber. I know plenty of B and below, but the one that I can show you is a cauterizing technique. It is simple enough to do, and I don't need a body to do it. I do know how to resuscitate people as well, but that would require a dead body, or an animal of some sort to practice it on." Hirihi said, rolling her neck as she thought quietly for a moment. "So, we can either work on the cauterizing technique or the resuscitation one." She said, leaving the option open to her.

Hirihi was quickly learning the technique from what Blanche was saying, which signaled to Hirihi that she was going to be able to soon move on to other things. The cough was definitely getting worse, but she was finding ways to suppress the cough. She couldn't tell exactly how she was doing it, though. It was as if getting her mind off of it was making it seem to forget itself somewhere in her body. Maybe it was all psychological after all? Whatever the case, Hirihi continued to maintain the technique under the critique of Blanche's watchful eyes. Once Blanche had given her the feedback she needed, Hirihi felt it was time to produce the technique one last time to get it started right and end it right.

Letting the chakra dissipate from her hand, but not dropping her hand to her side, Hirihi gave one last attempt at performing the technique. This would be the last time she would start the technique over, as she was beginning to run low on chakra and felt very exhausted. Forming the chakra quickly, evenly, and with just that little extra kick of chakra that Blanche had been saying, Hirihi's hand would slowly begin to fill with chakra from performing the technique.

Using the method that she had to get Blanche's attention with the technique the previous time, Hirihi put more than just her energy into the technique. She put her heart, soul, pride, and her confidence in it. She knew this was going to be the perfect example of the level of the technique that she was going to show. Thrusting all of this forward into the palm of her hand, Hirihi felt her hand fill with the bright chakra of healing that she knew so well. As she had performed it, Hirihi imagined herself in a situation in which the healing technique would be necessary to heal a major wound in battle.

This very method of visualizing a need was giving her just that little push that she had needed to set herself up for a great start. Examining the technique in her hand, she made sure to pulse her chakra evenly throughout her hand to keep it flowing evenly and steady. She wasn't going to have this technique failing on her. She didn't say anything to Blanche as her crimson eyes glance up from the palm of her hand to Blanche. There had to be something she was missing, something tiny and minor in the details to make this technique perfect. She just felt it.

Hirihi's attention was being divided between giving that same little chant in her mind, as it was a good way to help her focus on what she was doing with the technique, focusing on Blanche as she spoke, and performing the technique. All in all, she was getting the hang of doing this. With her attention on Blanche for a moment, Hirihi let herself rest as she coughed once more into her hand, making sure her mouth was covered so as not to seem rude in coughing at her as she turned away. Once she had regathered her attention, Hirihi listened to her suggestions to attempt it once more, feeling exhaustion slowly working through her body. This was definitely the hardest she had worked on any of her medical techniques, not even since she had begun becoming a medic.

While Blanche began to recount her stories of her childhood, and how she had become a medic in the past, Hirihi produced a much faster version of the technique that she was working on, using all of the principles that she had been taught. Knowing in her mind that she could do it this fast, not even doubting it, Hirihi felt the chakra begin to gather in her palm in a bright green torrent, the chakra flowing around her hand as evenly and bright as it had been since she had started performing the technique for Blanche.

As she would maintain the technique at its current quality, finding that it was definitely much better than it had been when she started, Hirihi began to speak. "For me, my childhood consisted of my father sheltering me from the world. It was really hard to deal with the change from working with just my father to being in the academy with the other students. I didn't fit in with them, and most of them didn't like the fact that I was dramatically different than them. A lot of them even had a few choice names for me." She said, glowering a bit at the thought of recounting those names.

Even as she spoke, the technique didn't waiver at all in its quality. It remained constant, if not getting stronger as she spoke. "A lot of them used my unnaturally red eyes as a point of reference. 'Demon eyes' was a common name that I was called. It died out, though, as a lot of them were punished for singling me out as they had. Not by the teachers, but by a few people that had actually been kind enough to befriend me. They were going into the medic program at our village as well, so we were all working together. I came out ahead of them, but they were the first ones to ever introduce me to the medical field." She said, curious to see how Blanche would say she was doing now.

While she continued to channel the chakra into her hand, keeping her mind chanting the little mantra as she looked to Blanche, she listened quietly to her explanation on war and how there would not be total silence when she had to perform the technique in the art of saving someone. SHe had made the rationale in her head that she would be able to produce the technique as she needed it at a later time without worry. It was just getting the basics down and training her body to remember how to do it. Diago had taught her, though, that there was no better way to train a technique than to use it while in the heat of a battle.

She still had nightmares about snakes being that she was buried beneath the large pile of them. The glow from the chakra in her hand would be the same color as before, with just a slight twinge of difference. The chakra was definitely a brighter green than before doing it the way that she had asked. Turning her head to look at Blanche, keeping up with the idea of multitasking, Hirihi wondered a bit about her teacher. How long had she been training this? She had mentioned the war before, but it was something that she had been sheltered from. Her father had done a good job of keeping her secluded from the world so taht she wouldn't end up like her mother, supposedly.

"So, how long have you been a medic? You mentioned the war before, so I am curious." She said, the talking making the chakra flicker a bit with her words. The flickering would seem to slowly die down as she got used to the speaking and performing the technique. Letting the chakra dissipate, she returned her attention to Blanche. "I'll keep trying." She said, keeping her hand out as she began to pool the chakra just as she had said to do. The same mantra would flow from her mouth, using her words to help her focus and slowly ease her into the art of multitasking.

This time, as she would produce the same technique, the chakra would definitely begin to be a tad bit brighter, the chakra more evenly distributed over her hand as she tried to keep the technique maintained at the somewhat greater quality. Her teeth were beginning to chatter in the cold, her coughing picking up once more from before. Even though she was physically afflicted with the cough ,her other hand covering her mouth in a closed fist, the technique remained in her hand, her grasp on the ability to multitask becoming much more fluent to her.

As the compliments would so as she intended, Hirihi would wait patiently for her to give some kind of an order. If she was truly going to teach her, which is how things were seeming to be, then Hirihi would just need to follow her instructions to the letter and be done with it as soon as she could possibly manage. One particular reason that this was important was that this would give her the appearance of obedience. Not that she was a rebellious little thing that liked to cause a ruckus. No, her father was good enough at that as it was. This was all just to seem more pleasing to the woman. It was slightly manipulative, and Hirihi felt the twinge of her conscience in the back of her mind, but if the woman was getting everything she wanted out of the conversation and the interaction, what harm was there in pretending to be a little bit more subordinate than usual?

When the first command would pass her lips, Hirihi keeping her eyes locked onto the baby blue of her teacher's, Hirihi would follow it just as she stated it. Holding out her hand, doing it just as Blanche had done before with her own hand, Hirihi would wait quietly and watch as snow would begin to collect into her open palm. Being asked to recreate the technique that she was told to do, Hirihi nodded and focused her chakra into her hand. Though it was not as magnificent a feat as the one that she had performed herself, creating a very visually pleasing display of the Mystical Hands technique, Hirihi's was one that was not to be looked down upon. it could do some serious healing when it needed to!

As she would maintain the technique, just as she had done it before with no alterations in the slightest, Hirihi would attempt to keep her mind focused between the two tasks. Talking to her and keeping her chakra from being disrupted in her hand. "If there is a technique that I know that you don't, I'd be glad to share it with you." Hirihi said, smiling at her and turning her attention back to the open palm. In he rhand, she now had a pool of chakra developing and waiting for Blanche to either give her a thumbs up or a thumbs down. However she went with this, this would be the basis for how their training would go.

As her hand held the green glow of chakra, an ominous humming from the focusing of her chakra in such a manner, Hirihi would wonder what else was going through Blanche's mind? Why were they out in the freezing cold? What was the point in coming out there when there was nothing more than just a winter wonderland waiting to swallow them whole and never spit them back out? Hirihi was gradually adjusting to the cold without so much chattering of her teeth. She still had that damned cough, but she kept her focus on the chakra in her hand, covering her mouth with her hand and attempting to hold it back after a second of the coughing fit.

Hirihi could detect a sense of the female having somewhat of a negative reaction towards Hirihi approaching her. Hirihi could understand that. It was unusual to be approached so forwardly as she had done. If Hirihi hadn't done that, though, she would've wandered a big circle around the girl and gone right back to her room at the HQ. It was better to put someone on the spot than to let them fiddle around in their mind alone. That was Hirihi's experience, though. It took the girl a moment to respond to Hirihi, but from what she could see, the girl was putting together some basic facts of who she was, trying to pin some basic details to either verify her trust, or verify her identity.

When her name came rolling over her lips, Hirihi felt a little bit relieved. So, they wouldn't start out this conversation on a bad foot. Then, more of the information that the girl had gathered would begin to spill forth. From just a two second introduction, and a ten second question, Hirihi had given her all the key bits of information that she had needed to form an opinion of her. This girl was very intuitive. Hirihi would have to definitely be careful what she was telling people from now on. That way, she could learn to control the information that she was sharing with them.

At the question of whether or not she was a medic, Hirihi nodded her head. "Yes, I am a medic." Hirihi said, raising a pale hand in the snow that was falling and producing a glow of green aura from the most basic of techniques. The Mystical Hands. Letting the chakra dissipate, Hirihi let her hand fall back to her side as she turned her head in curiosity. Coughing a bit, a closed fist over her lips as she tried to keep from being rude, Hirihi cleared her throat. "Are you a medic as well?" Hirihi asked, curious to know whether or not she was interested in teaching her anything she might know.

It could be definitely helpful for her to learn from her rather than learning on her own. The girl seemed experienced. She also seemed well taught in a lot of things other than just being a medic. Who knows? Maybe Hirihi could help teach her something that she might not know. There was an endless list of possibilities there, too, for Hirihi to make yet another connection with someone in another area of the world. She had her connections in Kumogakure, but it would benefit her to keep moving, expanding where she could go in case she needed an allies' help.

Arriving at the place where the second part of the exams were supposed to be held, Hirihi coughed into her closed fist as she followed the instructions that were given to her. Submerging herself into the Memory Sphere, Hirihi descended into a world that was completely black. Her mind began to swim with images of what was to be her ideal equipment for the second part of the exams. This was definitely much better than going through the paper exams. She'd be able to actually have a lasting effect in the events transpiring.

With all of her equipment picked out and placed on her person, she waited patiently for the next part of the exam to begin. Katana on her back as she waited, Hirihi kept her mind focused. "I really hope that this goes well." She thought to herself, another concern coming to her mind. Was she going to be teamed up with her friend Kurai? Was she going to be required to fight him, even in the simulated world they were given? She could only hope she had a team. She didn't do well in fights by herself. She made due, yes, but there was only so much she could do.
