They were probably a whole few blocks away from his home, so the thought of why he came to her made no sense. However, she didn’t have much time to think about other stuff as she tried to swiftly dodge his attacks, and swipe her kunai at him. He was fast, but she was just as swift, focusing more on dodging then hitting. She wanted him to tire, to get a little less energized and to falter, opening a spot for her own attack, but his movement were fluent and fast – fast enough to almost get May a few times. They continued this pattern for thirty seconds, May ducking and lunging while he swatted his arms at her. By the time she jumped back she was tired, trying not to breathe too heavily since his body showed no signs of exhaustion.

“Just release the women and we won’t have to do this.” Her voice came out stronger then she had expected, booming in the dead silence. The man just gave her a blank stare before bursting out into a hysterical laughing spree. After several high pitched and almost terrifying laughs he calmed down and return to his smirking expression. The laugh itself was creepy enough, but as his lips twitched and rose into a grin he hissed the fallowing. “Now, now,” His body leaned forward and his foot moved slightly, again May readied herself but didn’t lunge forward, she found herself waiting for an answer, even though she knew it would result in her having to fight her. “That would be no fun.” His words were disturbing enough that May faltered for a moment, right as the man struck, stabbing his arm into her stomach.

The force pushed May back against the wall of a house, she let out three violent coughs, withering in the pain. He had gotten her right next to her main chakra source, sending her spewing spate of blood. Again, he started laughing hysterically, proving he was in fact crazy. But that laugh was enough to piss May off, because now, with the blood wiped from her face, and the heavy breathing put to good use, she lunged forward again, violently swiping her kunai at his throat.

Even though he was busy laughing, he managed to doge every one of her attacks, however they were closer and even nicked his robe. “I’m starting to like you.” He said after throwing a jab of his own. “I wish I could say the same about you.” She spat, hoping it might offend him a little bit. But if it did he showed no emotion, just amusement and she swiped her kunai again. Again he dodged, and again he tried jabbing her. They were continuing the same pattern, and it was getting nowhere. May needed to do something more effective, something that would put more damage on him.

She had some long ranged attacks up her sleeve, and Byakugan users weren’t the best at long-ranged attacks. Trying not to make it obvious, May let her eyes dart around, studying her surroundings. She wasn’t in any position to make a break for it, considering the Hyuuga was blocking her exit, but she could always get past him – or rather, above him. Finally smirking herself, May glanced up and back at her opponent. A quick flash of alert passed his face, but fled just as quickly as it had come. With his attention on her next move May made a quick swipe, and then spun around with her heel off the ground, landing a quick kick in his side. Surprisingly it hit, and pushed him in the opposite direction. It was her chance to move, so she jumped quickly into the air, clearing his reach by a good distance. Then, when she was high enough, she used the friction in the air to jump again, getting high enough to latch onto the roof and pull herself up. “Running away are we?” The man mocked from below, but May didn’t bother to look back, she ran quickly to the edge of the roof, jumping over to the next, getting closer to the man’s house, where she would find her mission.

Reacting quickly, she slipped into the space between two homes, peeling onto the wall and staring intensely to where the motion occurred. Another movement, this time from the opposite direction, cause Amy to start panicking, her heart beating faster – adrenaline already pumping. Could just be a kid . or passerby. She tried to make the thought comforting, but even she knew that only highly skilled shinobi could move faster than her eyes could fallow. Obviously, something was up.

Suddenly, realization passed through her. Most likely, whoever this was, could find her even when she was hiding behind the building. She was in a perfect spot to become prey to anyone, skilled or weak. Slight panick arose, but May pushed it back down with deep breaths, forcing herself to think. Don’t let yourself become prey. She said to herself, closing her eyes, taking slower breaths. Letting out a breath, she rolled her head around her neck, stretching. Think. . May. . think. Get an advantage, or at least a lead. She hadn’t done anything this exciting for a such a long time, she forgot how difficult it was for her to get running again. Something, anything she could do to prepare. She should move, run off, a standing target is a stagnant and easily defeated one.

Then it hit her, this person might have the Byakugan, but May still had some tracking jutsus too. With her eyes already closed, she focused hard on the chakra running through her body, clasping her tow hands together and planting her feet firmly in the ground. Kekkai, Tengai Houjin! A rush of chakra flew through her body before flowing out and into a dome around her. About seven meters to her right a pulse of different chakra came flying back at her, alerting her of the shinobi’s position – and they were moving fast, running straight for her, nearly flying on their feet. At that moment everything came back to May, her arm reached naturally into her gourd which was resting on her rear-end and equipped a kunai, raising it just in time to block a quick jab of her opponent.

He was definitely her target, he was young – eve handsome, with dark shaggy hair and pure white eyes. His face was pulled into a stern grimace as he flinched at the pain of May’s blade on his skin. Their eyes locked for a mere second, both filled with rage and horror, before the two disbanded and jumped backwards. He didn’t even bother to look at his arm as he spoke to her, his voice deep and menacing; too dark for such a beautiful body. “I knew someone would come.” The smirk fallowing his line made May tense up – she hated cocky people, especially cocky boys. “But I didn’t think they’d send a kid.” May caught the slight movement in his foot and she lunged forward, colliding with his attack. She knew about Hyuuga’s, their gentle fist technique and how they’d hit major chakra points in order to disable movement in the body. She studied it all the time, not expecting to ever be faces against one but wanting to know if she would be, and now she was.

As she shifted her weight to her other foot, May waited almost. . nervously as the guard looked her up and down. “Well. . “ He hesitated for a moment, his body tensing up as if he was suspicious. “Alright. Right through the gates, the residency you should be looking for is far down the main street. Be careful.” His body still seemed tense, but he nodded and looked away, facing the forest once again. Taking that as her cue to move, May nodded slightly to herself and moved toward the gates, which we slowly opening due to the guard’s partner’s constant pushing. He was a bit small, and it seemed difficult for him to get the large, platinum gates open, but he did it, and scrambled back to his position. If May was in a better mood, she would have made a rude remark on how he was too weak to be a guard, but feeling as she was, she just continued onward, thinking about her mission.

Inside the compound was almost like a whole new village, houses more elegant then any Konoha home, were lined up down a long, narrow road, which May took as the main road. It didn’t swerve or turn, just continued straight to some sort of mansion on the other side of the compound. May had an urge to lurk in its beauty, to spend a moment to take it all in, but as her nerves were getting tenser and her heart was racing faster, she eagerly approached the location of her mission.

Unlike Konoha, the road she moved through was empty and utterly quiet. The wind was easily heard and the windows and doors of all houses were closed shut and tight. The more paranoid part of May perked up in alarm, it was too quiet for such a large group of shinobi, that something must be off. But, being in her state May reminded herself that most residents were in fact great shinobi, who were probably already out training for the day. “. . . far down the main street,” May mumbled to herself, pulling out her mission paper again and studying the address. She bared her teeth and whispered the last part, sending chills through her body. “Be careful.”

Still terrifyingly quiet, May continued forward, keeping her eyes fixed onto the road before her. No matter how much she tried, she felt like she was being watched, and the closer she got to the location of the mission, the more paranoid she got about an attack. I’m in the perfect place to be ambushed. . . She thought to herself, automatically pulling her arms across her chest to hug herself. I could be attacked. . May’s eyes darted around her surroundings quickly, the house on the end began to come into view, and it’s shack-like designs made it all that more creepy. I could be captured and killed! This thought brought a shudder through her body, May was never afraid of a fight, she never doubted herself, and she sure as hell didn’t walk into a mission feeling like this. Before she could tell herself to stop thinking bad thoughts, her senses perked quickly and she caught movement out of the corner of her eye.

May had only closed her eyes for a mere ten minutes before a voice abounded above her head, waking her instantly. She was not a heavy sleeper, not exactly a light one but definitely alert to anything that could become dangerous. This however, didn’t seem too dangerous. Groaning and pulling her head out of the comfort and warmth of her arms, she glanced in his direction. Nothing seemed out of order, he rather seemed annoyed or frustrated, why May had no idea but his words came as a criticism. “Seriously?” Rolling her eyes, she rolled her head back and yawned. “I’m sorry, do you need something?” She slurred, turning her glance into a hard glare.

May was never a people person, but not she just felt violated. While awaiting his response from her sarcastic remark, she studied the boy. He seemed her age, maybe older due to his “I’m better than you all” look. He was obviously a shinobi as well, his forehead protector hanging loosely around his neck. However, the thing that made May want to do something snarky was his hair, which seemed a bit wild for the look on his face. He reminded May a lot like some boys she had gotten into a fight just a few months ago, and the thought disgusted May immediately. “Don’t tell me you woke me up just to say hi.” She groaned again and sagged her shoulders, propping her head up with her hand, resting on her elbow. Attempting to offend the boy somehow, she continued to give a hard cold stare in his direction.

Activity check ehh? Well I'm active, and totally open for plots. My girlie here has absolutely no friends or teammates so if anyone needs a team I'll be happy to join up with you. However I'll have to warn you she's a bit dark and gloomy and weak at the moment -- I'm trying to get her pool up right noaw, but having other peopl to rp with would be awesome :)

Swiftly May moved down the street, ducking under cover when the rain started. The entire day it had been looking quite gloomy, the clouds crowding above waiting to strike. May didn’t mind the rain at all, she actually enjoyed watching it drizzle down the window and fall onto the pavement, but things were different when she was on her way to find a mission.

It had been awhile since she had done something for the sake of her village, for the past months she has been sulking, obsessing over her tiny human emotions. It took the woman who took her in as a child three here before she finally convinced May to do something, so now she would go and find a mission. Missions were always fun. However the sudden change in weather contradicted her view on the day and May wanted turn around and go home. The slight breeze was already chilling and she didn’t have the will to make it to the Hokage tower – where in fact she has been avoiding for a long time, due to uncomfortable feelings about the new Hokage – so instead she turned quickly into a small shack. The place was small and could maybe seat six different groups of people, but as soon as she opened the door and slipped in the warmth and smell of ramen kept her moving. There was no one around, so it seemed she would be the only customer. Quickly, before she second-guessed herself, she strutted to the farthest table in the back and sat down. It was tucked behind a tall, bushy tree which could be used for camouflage – from what, she didn’t know yet.

She thought about calling out for someone for food, but overall she wasn’t very hungry. Just the warmth was comforting enough, and the salty smell of noodles filled her head with sweet memories from when she was truly happy. Just then a plump looking man peeked out of the kitchen door, saw her and waved friendlily. May gave a weak smile and waved back, but didn’t make an attempt to order. Apparently he understood because he turned back around and went off into the kitchen. May didn’t need anything except for the comfy chair and surprisingly warm table. She just laid her head down to rest, closing her eyes and shoving her face in her clothed arms. She was just going to rest for a little bit, her body was tired and needing some relaxation. Just a little bit. however soon enough her mind drifted off into tormenting dreams.

OOC: Supposed to meet Ryu here, however I guess anyone can join ^_^ It's a rainy cold day and May went to sleep, lol xD Sorry it's so frickin' short, I have to go do laundry since mah friends comin' over .__.

Description: Deep within the Hyūga Compound, originating from one of its many households, a young, strong, and seemingly delusional man with a strong case of paranoia has imprisoned several young woman in his manor. Seeing them as possible threats to his prospecting Shinobi career, he’s threatening to eliminate them publicly. Due to the delicate nature of this assignment, the Hyūga Head have decided to allow an outside force to resolve the issue seeing as conflict within the clan could cause municipal complications. Be warned, however; the target is armed with both the Byakugan, and an irrepressible need to defend himself—stay alert.
Reward: 1,000 ryo, 50exp

For so early in the morning, the sky was bright and the air was chilling. As May walked solemnly toward her destination, her mind wandered away from the mission. There was so much on her mind, so much that it made her head spin and her stomach turn. She had spent the last few months of her life doing nothing, absolutely nothing. She just sat around and sulked, obsessing over the emotions brought up from visiting her old home. She had no companions, the only person she had ever spoken with and actually approved of had gone ahead and became the most important person in the village and probably wouldn’t have time for her. It was quite depressing.

Even though May is prone to depression, it wasn’t in her character to blow off training and missions amidst it. But she had, and it as taken her several days to finally pull a mission off of the mission board and fallow its neat directions to the location she would perform in. So, instead of making a big deal out of the stupid human things called emotions, she wandered aimlessly through the lush forest. The cold air lurking around her prickled her skin and made her shiver, but the view she found ahead of her made her shiver even more.

Her mission was to find and contain a crazy main in the midst of the Hyuuga Compound. The mission itself was intimidating enough, but the massive place it was hidden in was even more breath taking. The compound looked like a giant, ancient military bass. With crusty old walls towering above her past the trees and into the sky, the just as big doors gleamed in the faint sunlight as May tried to see if there was anyone around. She had seen the compound from far away times before, whether she was training or just stocking around the forest, she had seen it. And even from far away it was glorious, but up close it was even better. The thoughts of living in such a place brought warmth to May’s body, being part of a clan would be much easier than being all alone. A massive family, big enough to house several different families. If May was part of a clan she would have a place to belong, a place to come home to, and even though she had a home for herself, it wasn’t comforting at all.

Glancing back down at the crumbled paper May read through her mission once again, she was to find and. . somehow contain this man and his prisoners. It seemed easy enough, and the thought that he was holding women hostage was blood pumping. May always hated how women were looked at as weak things, now maybe she could prove something to the girls and the man that they can be just as great as everyone else. As she grew closer to the gates, May tried to get her excitement up. She was going to get to beat up some guy, or maybe even have a decent fight! She would get a fight, and complete a mission, and maybe even see certain people while turning her mission in. Sounded great, but not everything was appealing. With the state she was in, she had started to doubt herself – and such a thing was very out of character of her. But if she gave into something such as emotion she would never be a worthy shinobi, she would only be a good one or maybe even a great one, but not an extraordinary one. Shinobi must be passionate only about their work, creating a personal life that is complicated never helps one’s ability to fight. But here May was, thinking about boys and loss. It sickened her.

However, May needed to overcome this, she would get over it and become great and numb again. There was nothing wrong with falling down, as long as she got back up. So, as the distance between the guards at the front gate shortened May began to get her old self back. When close enough, she raised her hand in a friendly gesture, even though they probably knew who she was – considering they probably good see her from a mile away. “I’m here for a mission.” She said when she was close enough, offering up the scrappy piece of paper in her hand to the guard near her, she was ready for this.

May's a bit cold too, so I could see them having some sort of. . no talking or making fun of other people relationship :3 She really needs people to do missions and such with and both girls seem kinda' rough so maybe they'd make a good team

Description: A very basic but effective taijutsu attack, the Kaiten involves the user's leg in a reverse downward kick. After launching themselves into the air and begin to somersault, the user gains momentum within the chosen striking limb and come spinning down, laying their heels into the target's shoulders and head.

Special: Does not require handseals. User cannot move while underground, but they can detect anyone that walks along the earth above them. Radar radius is circular, and measures equal to the user’s Earth Dominion. User can remain underground for a single turn before needing to resurface; each time retrained, the user can remain underground for one extra turn.
Description: A very basic earth technique, it allows the user to dive underground almost instantaneously so that they remain hidden from view in order to ambush their opponent. As long as the opponent is walking across the earth, they will be aware of their presence, and can wait patiently (without fear of asphyxiation!) until they right time, where they will emerge and latch onto the opponent’s legs. From here, they can easily suck them down, executing a replacement with them so that the opponent is buried underground up to his neck, while the user emerges unharmed above ground.

Dochuu Eigyo (Underground Fish Projection)

Description: An upgrade to Shinjuu Zanshu, this underground variation grants the user movement whilst underground. Additionally, they can also emerge from below with their weapons drawn, allowing them to attack without being seen. After a few short seals, the user merely sinks below, and can remain there for a small amount of time.

Description: Basic yet very effective within the Katon arsenal of jutsu, this technique allows the ninja to emit a series of small fire balls after a simple set of handseals are made. The ninja can also hurl a projectile which is covered in these same flames. To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, because they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai, and only select doujutsu and bloodline abilities allow the user to see through the deception.

Special: Switch is near-instantaneous. When first learned, Kawarimi can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained. Can only be used once per turn, regardless of retraining.. Requires the user to switch with objects equal or smaller in size; cannot switch with other living people or animals.
Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack - i.e. exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.

Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance that, although easily seen through by those with doujutsu, can fool the normal eye easily. Why? Simply because although without substance, the copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent, though no real damage can be done by it. Finally, as soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

Description: Fuubaku Houjin is a Ninjutsu technique used by shinobi in conjunction with common explosive devices such as exploding notes. Arranging the seals in a square formation, the user will draw their target within the array. Once the target enters the zone with the planted explosives, the trap ignites. The user can also form handseals to activate the tags and prep them for explosion, amplifying their power all at once.
