Description: A darkness approaches Iwagakure no sato and very few know of this impeding strike. . .
Specifics: This event will also count as an A ranked mission, because of its plot, and rewards will be announced by me at the end depending on how well this is performed. This event will be GM'd by me.

[/b] his voice ringing sirens into the minds of the deranged puppets he had gathered. All at once it’d seem they shouted ‘Aaaaoooh!’ just after hearing their masters words. The drums of war trebled and based the earthen floor the moment the ships touched the shores of Iwa no sato. Before them lied the council elders smiling deviously at their army – awaiting the strike ever so gently. Little did they know. . . a force was also approaching them. An envious stare formed from my very own eyes sternly looking at the hawks overseeing us from atop the ladder of clouds. I had brought the shinobi from the tsuchikage ruins into the shinobi alliance compound only for but one reason.

My chest caved in and out, in and out, as I attempted to catch my breath from the long run I had put these shinobi through. Surely they too would be lost for words as we all stopped before a large waterfall. The rocky plains holding its weight in such a particular way made me think once again of the battle that were to partake us all. “Okay. We are here. My purpose for bringing you here is because the war will begin today. I could not bare to see you all undergo such a chaos. You were not ready for it. . . so we are here now in safety. Our only choice is to get stronger . . . and defeat the enemy through their core. This means we will have to work discretely . . .” I’d say pulling the back pack off of my shoulder filled with porcelain mask attire. “everyone put these on. From now on we will not refer to ourselves as a squad. We will be called. . .” I’d say as I turned around. . “the darkness order.”

The last words would slew out of my mouth barely passing the mask I’d just placed over my face. It were completely white – only giving sight to the eyes of a person. I eyed them all in front of my figure – wondering how they would take it all in. Usually I didn’t care – but things such as these were not so easy to overcome. “we will act as a criminal organization. Our mission is to obtain military actions performed by the council elders and their army. Everything you hold dear to you. . . your name, your favorite color, why. . . even your favorite foods mean nothing as of now.” I’d say – realigning my blade to my hip – changing into the black jumpsuit looking clothing I’d also placed within the bag. These would serve as our uniform for now. “Keep your head bands on you. It is the only way we can make sure of who we truly are."

"Oh, and one more thing. . .do not forget we are still the members of the shinobi alliance. . . now let’s go. . .” i’d coo forth finally before darting off once more underneath the raging waters of the waterfall. A cave sat neatly behind it – carved from none other than myself. I’m sure they had questions – but showing was always better than telling. My figure carried me swiftly into the darkness of the caves. There were only but way to go in its confines – so it wouldn’t have been hard for them to follow. Those who chose to come would do so . . . for the rise of the darkness order was now inevitable.

Like a predator watching it's prey, the Uchiha's gaze never left the man before him, save for the occasional glance to make sure they weren't being followed. Needless to say, the Tsuchikage would find Kamitsuki directly behind him as they arrived at the compound. The trek was taxing, but years of training the shunshin technique had increased the boy's speed and endurance twice-fold, and much like a shadow he followed Totsuzen, almost mirroring his movements.

Still, he was not a god and he took breaths to compensate for the lack of oxygen inhaled while trying to keep up; stoic, neither too long nor too heavy, but a perfect balance between the two.

The Uchiha made mental notes as onyx occuli slowly scanned the area, making mental notes of what was what and what was where. The twins came to a halt as they befell upon the beauty of the waterfall. Giant waves of ocean-blue fell from great heights into the abyss below. Kamitsuki could always appreciate something that transcended what man had control over, and this waterfall represented just that. He stared at it for just a moment, admiring its' calm and cool nature. Soon, he closed his eyes to take in the serenity of the area. The waterfall was gentle and the air was fresh, a scene Kamitsuki wouldn't have minded enjoying for a bit.

Unfortunately though, they had business to take care of, and he knew this place would soon be flipped upside down-- if not by nothing else, his hand alone, for the freedom of Iwa.

He had dressed light for the situation (ebony tank-top, pants, pouch, ect) so there was no problem when the Tsuchikage revealed their uniforms. Grabbing his, he easily slipped it on, re-strapping his pouch to his right waist, and fastening his blade to his left. It was a basic chokuto, capable of both stabbing and cutting.. death by cold steel was always his preferred method of killing-- quick, quiet, and hands free.

He absorbed all the Tsuchikage had to say; he no longer danced around in darkness, the revelation of the corrupted council had brought everything into the light. While many things were still unanswered, Kamitsuki now realized those he had learned to trust and obey were not what they portrayed. He aimed to restore the village to what it used to be.. strong, honest, and prosperous. A simple nod would be enough to signal Totsuzen that he was ready, and they were off.

His ebony mane swayed with the wind as the two, and whoever was behind, descended into the caves. The ivory mask clicked around his head as he moved, and he stared out from the porcelain prison with a vision of power.

My eyes in a trance, their view fixated on the path behind the kage as I would run through the forest. Trying to keep up with the two shinobi before me, I would move through directly behind the man before me as if a shadow of his mane. Slowly focusing on my breathing, keeping a calm deep pattern while my heart would race with anticipation for what was to come.I would continue to exert myself, the long operation through the forest/ruins had taken my almost to my breaking point but thankfully we had finally arrived at our location. A large scenic waterfall would be the location to which our forest trek would end, but this was only the beginning.

As I stood there heaving in and out, trying to catch my breath as the kage would then begin to speak out about the corruption in Iwagakure and a new uprising which was about to begin, I had been blind to it for too long.. my ignorance would no longer get the best of me as he spoke of us being criminals but in retrospect the council where the true criminals who had robbed the people of what was rightfully theirs.. their home and families. Cast aside for a war which held had destroyed the lives of many If we where to fail, we would go down in history as traitors to our country.. but if we where to succeed, two would then write the books of history as we seized it from the iron grip of a corrupt council.

The blond haired elder before me would then reach into his backpack and pull out several cloaks and masks. Without hesitation I reached forward and grabbed a mask that was handed to me, a cat mask.. very fitting for the situation
I thought as I looked around while putting on the black coat..this would probably be the last time I can look at the world without this porcelain prison until my country is free. I would nod at the kage before securing the mask firmly on my face, the peripherals of my eyes would catch a glimpse of the innards of the mask as I would raise my hood over my head and secured my pouch to my left side once again. I would peer down at my headband.. a symbol of our village and its people, a testament of the iron will of its people, before fastening it in its usual place once again It was time for me to use my abilities for the people of iwa who where unable to help themselves, though we may be few.. we are shinobi and we will overcome.

With my eyes only set to go forward I would follow the men before me into the waterfall, a clever guise for this cave to be hidden within it. The sounds of the rushing waterfall behind me would slowly cease to be heard as I ventured deeper and deeper into the gave, the light slowly fading away until we where in complete darkness.

Through the darkness we would emerge, through darkness we would strike..and after out we complete our mission, a new light would shine over iwa as we took it down from within.

The time was now.

Iwagakure was a cesspool of corruption, birthed from the inside and seeping past the core to the outside. We were here to cleanse it, from the outside we would press in. Our... my leader stood in front of us, his speech nothing less than inspirational. I could feel my spirit, my burning soul yearning to dive into the fray and slay all for that of which I beleived. If he ordered it, I'd do it without question. It was that simple, I'd even use my eye for the Tsuchikage, my talents though hated would be needed by him.

Before I placed the ghost, white porcelain mask upon my visage, I stripped my right eye of its curtain, the light that greeted it stung slightly before I could fit the round mask over my face. My ebony hair looped around my shoulders, like ocean waves it rolled down my back stopping at the center of my back. I was dressed in complete black, wearing a shroud that obscured my entire body, sleeves that engulfed my hands, draping downwards. If anything I now completely embodied what we were-the darkness order.

The name fit us well, we'd cavort with demons, tainting ourselves with evil to erase it. The saying was evil begot only evil, but it'd be proved wrong in this one instance. I'd personally make sure of it. Once I stepped forth, beneath the cooling falls I had abandoned everything for what felt like a second time, but this time it was of my own accord, this was my destiny and I planned to follow till the very end. What awaited me was infamy, into the beckoning darkness I followed. I was no longer Kohana Hotarubi, I wasn't of this world, i wasn't a girl. I was now a spirit.

We were earth shinobi, i supposed. Yet, i couldn't help wonder if getting myself involved in the politics of our village was wise. After all, i had no qualms with abandoning the place, just a short time ago... Regardless, i found myself trailing behind an eager group of shinobi, led by a rather mysterious man with an intimidating persona. They must all be ninja of iwa too, but what exactly was the purpose of this excursion? Having returned to iwa after our rather prolonged absence, what we'd found was merely ruins, some remnants of a battle, perhaps? Curiosity naturally got the better of me, and i decided to tag along with these silent misfits. I kept up with them well, my familiarity in these skyscraping heels leaving me barely disadvantaged. Today's ensemble consisted of a form-fitting black dress, only minimally accessorised with a decadent black gauze shawl. Stealing through the shadows as we were, i considered myself rather appropriately dressed, for once.

We stopped shortly, apparently our destination was this waterfall, cascading down beside us. The sound annoyed me, although our 'leader' made himself heard quite clearly. However, as clearly as i may have heard him, his words rather unsettled me. Everything i held dear...? Members of the shinobi alliance, the darkness order? As barely patriotic as i could be considered, i held myself and my fashion in much higher esteem than any such organisations. As he produced outfits and accessories from his bag, i was just about ready to strut away from this farce. I truly hoped he did not expect me to dress in such a manner. The garment i pointblank refused. It was completely unflattering, and not at all stylish. The mask however... I saw its merits. Rummaging in my handbag, i produced a small lipstick, giving the mask a charming crimson pout. Fastening it carefully about my face, so as not to smudge the original's makeup underneath, i placed my hands on my hips.

The rest of the shinobi followed him through the falling waters, and with a sigh, i walked reluctantly after them.
"If nothing else, you might get to kill someone, darling." I said wearily to Kain, who i hoped had accompanied me. Then i let my arms flash golden, holding them above my head to keep me dry as i too slipped into the darkness.

The morning, like most, was frigid, a rarity in the blistering country of earth. Practically unbearably so. Words spoken turned to ice, veins ran cold, and hearts grew black. I could tell something was upon me. A demon? A ghost? A god? I knew nor could I tell what lay ahead. The light was gone, stolen from the land. Unjust, it was, and fairness and justice needed to be restored, returned. I was simply one of many trying to restore the land to its former glory.

To the court around me I spoke of the ancients form my country, and their advice which was so wise yet powered by a darkness we would begin to see as this plan unfolded. "Your individuality is your greatest weapon,"[/i][/color] one of the elders once told me, departing her wisdom as a final farewell. "However, it is also your greatest weakness. With it, you are everything. Without it, you are nothing."[/i][/color] It seemed as if the world was against my quest, the idea of healing time where it had been rent asunder. As we ended our travel about the wastelands, searching for the light, it seemed the scattered souls of Hell continually batttered our bodies and molested our minds with horrors even the most blood-thirsty killers could not imagine. Willing to sacrifice anything to get what they wanted, even it meant destroying this place and all who stood in their way.

This land, ravaged by a war only the gods had seen, made me uneasy. In Bølvanger we were abused and molested, yet we knew we were safe from the outside world. It funny how ironic the situation had become now. As I looked around all I saw was devastation, earth charred and smoldering where darkness had shrouded a violent force no one could foresee. It was this very landscape, rocks and boulders demolished by an unknown force which frightened me. The Samurai may not have taken to us kindly, nor did they ever help us, but the district offered one thing this barren wasteland struggled to provide itself: a place of sanctuary.

For the longest time I thought it was okay to be ignorant. All the stories the elders told us about the beasts which we feared and revered as guardians against the malicious Samurai, they all kept us entertained and happy. We never had to struggle with these foreign concepts of war, destruction...murder. Everything was explained, and that which could not was given a story. These stories, fabricated by senile minds wishing to keep safe a new and tender generation, told of things which dwelled in the world.

Not animals, or plants, or even a specific place in the world. I remember the elders called these beings, said to have transcended our plain of existance to that of happiness and wonder, "Beautiful."[/i][/color] I never understood it while I remained awake, yet as my eyes closed, the realm of innocence claimed me. These beings I imagined to be wrapped in a cloak of silky gold, barring the faces of the heavens. I remember one story in particular, which to this day I will not forget. This was far from the truth. The beautifuls, as in every history, were said to de deities which could not be touched by the hearts of humanity, for we were too fragile of mind, ill of body. I began to consider how we had all been led through with a darkened hand, hovering over to smother us if we questioned the law. It was now, with no one to bring out country back to fruition but ourselves, that it became apparent who the enemy and who allys were.

Perhaps this was why I hated life. I lived hardships, but these hardships were what made sleeping that much more rewarding. As I grew older, I slept more and more, not because I was tired but so I could spend more time with these heavenly dieties and their wonderful home of lights. Yet when I awoke I felt as if my purpose in life was to be beaten, molested and degraded to that worse than shit. I had told myself long ago that I would never wake up, to walk the land of the living and the mysterious forever. My explorations lead me far, my mind dulled while my awareness picked up strange, little things. I just wondered as I wandered this hellhole with no where to go but somewhere. What if they[/i][/color] were here, hiding, waiting for us to find them? Maybe, if this were so, I could wake up, I would have to, and find happiness...somewhere, eventually. Or die trying.

It was when presented with the mask, our new identities, which I felt a surge of anger. Not at Totsuzen, or any of the four other shinobi gathered here. No, it was at the Council which I felt a strong hatred towards. Our selves could no longer exist as the tyranny did, and so I took the mask gently. With my left thumb to my mouth, I bit violently, enough to draw blood. Grabbing the headband around my neck, I pulled gently, letting the note loosely come undone. I spread my blood across the symbol, not as a desecration, but as a reminder to myself. If I came out alive from this, my stain on the piece of metal and cloth would remind me what I had to give up to succeed. I placed the cloth in my robe, securing in a place of stiches only I could find. As I dawned my mask of smooth and clear porcelain, I wondered what we would be thought of. Whatever the case, I did not care. As I walked through the falling waters, I was willing to do whatever necesary to achieve that.[/font]

All weapons on hand

All sound seemed to fade from me as my figure moved quickly through the trembling waters. I felt rejuvenated at its instant. . .nothing comparing to the feeling of natural ecstasy. My tread was swift yet not too quick. I made sure to give hand signals when making a turn so that my shinobi and kunoichi did not run face first into a wall. With hands outstretched we all merrily trekked to the end of the tunnel where a light could be seen burning through. At the end of the tunnel I would not stop my momentum – at the tips edge I would bend my knees and jump within the air looking down only once to see the great oasis which stood a good fifty meters below. My body would fall down smoothly as I arched my hands in a pointed ray – attempting the perfect dive. We were here – the rendezvous point.

. . . . . . from within the shores of Iwa the army marched. The council members had faded within the center of the mass – giving orders silently to the henchmen. They stopped short of the gates as their leading commander halted them with an outstretched palm. The gate guards quickly stifled below in order to confront this army. “may we help you..?” “if you are joining our ranks that is the only way I can see you helping in this coup’de’tat…” “cou..what!? Asashi! Sound the ala..!!” he would have little time to give out an order – his genin student Asashi trembling beside the dead body of his jounin advisor. Surely if his advisor had died so would he. . . the curtains falling one more to the scene as my body jumped from the bottom of the lake slinging my hair back whilst keeping my mask in tact.

I’d have to await my genin – some of them may have though twice about jumping in head first into the lake. My figure would rise to the top of the lake as chakra pushed my soles to its tip. After they had made it down I would break it down even simpler. “By now the oncoming siege has made it past the gates. Right now we are adjacent to that spot. This is where things will get interesting. We will split off into two teams – hotarubi will join me while kamitsuki leads the rest of you. I will create a shadow clone to keep up with you all, kill the shadow clone if you are in danger so that I am alerted immediately. . .” I said to him looking him right within the holes in his porcelain mask after creating that one seal to create my replica. Kamitsuki had been in my shadow this entire time – so I knew he would be able to lead a team somewhat - but I wouldn't let him leave without giving some sort of aid.

“your job is to investigate the village gates and find out what went on there. . . me and hotarubi are going to sneak in through the gates right behind the army and find out some useful information. Meet here at this rendezvous in two hours, copy?” I’d say to him just before signaling hotarubi to follow me. My figure would disappear into the wind with small black lines escaping my position. I was unsure if I would use hanzo in this battle – but he could prove worth this time around since no one had any knowledge of him. I would make sure of hotarubi’s descent after me as we calmly trekked the path of the village gates – sneaking into its path escaping past the three bodies which lie bloodied in our way. I would not stop for this – for it was kamitsuki’s duty now.

Kamitsuki trekked through the waters at a steady pace, following in Totsuzen's shadows yet leaving enough room for him to respond accordingly to the hand signals. When it came time for the drop to the into the oasis below, chakra rushed to the Uchiha's feet and he turned his body downward at the edge. Unlike the Tsuchikage's leap of faith, Kamitsuki preferred to descend in a different manner-- he simply ran down the edge of the stone until he reached a proffered height, then leaped downward onto the waters, held up by the chakra at his feet.

He arrived about the same time the Tsuchikage rose from the depths-- wet. He watched as he arose, and listened as he spoke, detailing the objectives and the mission at hand. Unlike previously assumed, the group of shinobi would operate in two separate units, one led by the Earth Shadow, and the other by the Uchiha. It struck Kamitsuki as a surprise, but he'd ride nonetheless.

He glanced around at the shinobi around, and the ones he'd be in charge of. Amongst them, he only recognized one, Koga, who he'd met before at the ruins. The other three he didn't know too well, but that would change soon. A simple "Copy", would be all the left the Uchiha's mouth in response to the mission details. He welcomed the shadow clone into their ranks... he would be sure to ask Totsuzen to teach him that technique once this was all over.

He introduced himself to those not known, and inquired a little about each, though only the most essential things for moment, like their names and abilities. After the introductions were through, the squad would be off, headed toward the gates, their first destination.

If the enemy moved fast, they needed move quicker.

I watched as the two men before me signaled throughout the cavern, dark silhouettes would only be my guide until we finally reached the destination at the end of the cave. Without hesitation the Tsuchikage would signal the lot of us to take a leap of faith, and I had no other choice to abide, this was the man we needed to trust for the future of our village, a small leap of faith was a nice symbol of what was actually going on.

I would then tie a kunai to a piece of chakra wire and held it firmly in both hands before leaping off into the unknown. While falling upside down I would quickly examine the rock walls, as I spun the kunai in one hand..the uchiha man before me had taken a different path it seemed also and leaped off the rocks rapidly descending. With a quick throw I would use the wire as a rope to slow my descend as it would wrap around a large extrusion from the mountain, spinning wildly until it stuck firmly. As I would near the bottom it would pull me away as if on a child's tire swing forward directly under where I had attached it too. about 10 ft above the water. Just before I would hit the wall I would kick off of it applying some chakra too my feet as I unwind the wire with a quick flick of my wrist. Now with a great back-flip I would land upon the surface of the water with chakra applied to my feet a couple feet away from the two who had been there before me.

The kage would speak to all of us as we arrived from the top of the mountain, each in their own way. We where going off into teams, smart plan divide and conquer, I was to follow the man before me who seemed to be a second in command for the time being. He quickly introduced himself and asked that we all do the same with a summary of abilities in which I simply responded "Ta..." id quickly catch myself before continuing the rest of my name, it wasn't that I didnt trust my new teamates, it was the enemy I didnt trust.id then continue " I am of the Kaguya clan, I inherited the bloodline ability to manipulate my bones, as well as an ability to use fuuton. While on the field though I recommend we refer to eachother based on our masks or some code, sharing names could be a security risk while on the mission" Id say quietly to the now formed group we where to travel with, it was just a suggestion to the squad seeing as how this mission was of top priority of the village..secrecy was key. shortly after me others would introduce themselves it was smart to pay attention here seeing as how we would need to combine abilities to attain victory here.

'Byakugan...'

From beneath the safety of my porcelain mask, my right eye became much more pronounced, the veins stretching to the very top of my temple. The activation of the visual aid would go unnoticed by any other, and that's how I liked it. Guided by the fluctuating flow of energy it was very easy for me keep up as I lead the group, incessantly my figure carved through the beckoning black as I followed the Tsuchikage easily.

No fear.

My heart knocked angrily upon its inner walls as I stepped over the edge without thinking, and dived head first into the water below. The wind whipped abrasively across my face for but a moment until I punctured the surface of the water, waning ripples left behind as I emerged jerking my head back, I'd fling my soaked locks behind me. Droplets trickled onto and down my body, the cool air greeting my body I'd give them but one indicator of what to call me should our paths cross. After all I was working directly with the Tsuchikage.

"Ghost."

Replying she awaited until everyone understood what it was they were suppose to do than took off behind my Kage, cautiously we navigated ourselves to the gates where we'd find three bloodied bodies bathed in wine. He only looked and than continued so as would I. They were shinobi who were prepared to die. Into my home, my town, my village I pushed alongside Totsuzen.

I didn't fancy the energetic approaches the other shinobi employed. Upon reaching the drop, i merely let silk drift from my hand, descending slowly and gracefully upon the gleaming threads, until my heels landed delicately upon the water, barely rippling as my chakra sustained me. The tsuchikage was already talking as i landed rather later than the others, and apparently i was now working under this Kamitsuki fellow. He made himself known, and i looked him up and down. He looked rather younger than i, but his hair was quite nicely styled. So, the pirate girl was to go with the kage, while me and two other males were accompanying Kamitsuki and a shadow clone. I winked at my new leader, running a hand through my blonde locks.
"You may call me Coco. I'm sure you'll find my tangled skills useful, darlings." Was all i added, before placing my hands on my slender hips.

So we were to investigate the situation at the gates? We wasted no time in proceeding, following the tsuchikage and his companion until we parted ways, us stopping at the three corpses, with him and the girl continuing onwards. I supposed the first thing was to determine cause of death, although i had no medical instincts in my body.
"There doesn't appear to have been a struggle. These three look like they were merely in the way, and were disposed of like last season's prints." I observed, nudging the smallest body with my stilettos.
"This one's terribly young... Probably merely assisting his sensei on gate duty. How tragic." I murmured. From the looks of things, something, or someone, had passed through here just moments ago, cutting their way through the undermanned gate shinobi. I'd guess whatever happened, those entering iwa were powerful, as i recognised one of the shinobi laying here.
"And this one's a jounin. He was a classmate of mine in the academy... Not a weakling by any means, i'm rather concerned he was taken out so easily." I continued. I felt rather old, having been to the academy with such a person, while those around me were probably quite a few years younger, but still.

Producing a compact from my handbag, i began touching up my foundation. I couldn't really glean much more from the situation, and besides, i couldn't do much more without waiting for word from our current captain.

At first I was unsure about what to do. As I watched Totsuzen leap over the edge, I questioned whether we might be taking a step towards collective suicide. I shook the thought away, keeping in mind this was the first test towards our team. I had to believe he knew what he was doing, and with a leap of faith, I turned to those around me with a look that seemed to say, hope to meet you on the other side. Feeling the energy surge through my legs, I began to gradually stride towards the end.

As it came nearer and nearer, something inside me snapped. I felt my legs lengthen on their own, my breath easily shift from laboured running to a full out sprint. I charged towards the edge, 100 meters before it came. As I performed the ram seal, a very low amount of chakra coated my bandages, to keep them dry. The edge came and I lept with a much power as I could, smashing my legs against the hardened earth. My body shot into the air a good 10 meters, folding in half to prepare my descent.

I closed my eyes, unfolding my body with tremendous force, hurtling towards the water's surface. Upon impact, my body sliced through the water with little sound, the only sign anyone had tresspased was a miniscule ripple. As the cold grasped my lungs, I felt revitalized. The cold chakra in my body awakened a deep thing in me, giving me a newfound courage. I opened my eyes, seeing a faint refraction of light, and so I swam to it. As I emerged, I stood upon the water, releasing the seal. As if attached to my body by honey, the water slid off my body.

As I plummeted I heard someone speak of introductions. As I looked to face my allys, I couldn't repress a faint smile. Despite who we were, pariah and fashionista, we were all here to get back something that had been taken from all of us. "I hail from the Jötun of Svalbard. We used to be known as great warriors in the Land of Iron, fighting along the Samurai. It was not for our numbers, which were relatively small to others, but for our domain over the winter Season. From this gift, our blood froze; snow freezes and melts, and we have control over its every motion. Ice, water, cold; the very essence of Winter runs in my veins."[/b][/i]

Part of me wondered what the woman would respond to what I had to say next. As I formed a string of handseals, I sent a surge of chakra into the water around us. As I did so, a copy of me slowly formed from the bottom up, freezing the water into a shimmering figurine. "I came from a land where comrades did not exist, and we, pariah, were just that. I hope to call you all comrades, if you will do the same,"[/i][/color] I said, looking particularly at the woman. I had nothing against her; I just hoped she was willing to see past my faults.

"I will take the title I once knew,"[/i][/b] I spoke of, as I removed my mask just enough to see my face while still concealed in the shadows. Tapping the bandages on my face with my left pointer finger, they quickly unraveled to fall on my shoulders. "This is the face of your comrade."[/i][/color]. I gave them all a nice look of my face, of what they would not expect to see. "Just call me Muu."[/i][/color][/font]

"JOIN ME IN CLEANSING THIS LAND OF IT'S SAVAGES!" "WE WILL GRANT THEM THE DEATHS THEY DESERVE AND PAVE THE WAY FOR OUR WAY OF LIFE. IT IS TOLD IN THE SKY AS IT IS ON OUR LAND!" Customarily we all chanted, Aaaaoooh!, and without further notice we proceeded to shuttle out of our barracks by twos.

It was all breathtaking. The massive monuments I’d passed by were now nothing but stone and dirt to be walked upon. I took no second to stop and engage in its decadent beauty but not because I were enraged yet because I saw no point in dwelling within its realm. To them I was a figure of poise and intelligent – but to myself I was a machine of war destined to be killed by the blade. I had yet met a match but neither had I searched for one either. My head would twist at an angle towards ghost making sure my speed had not become somewhat of a bother. After reassuring myself of her position I would signal her with a pointer an index outstretched that our direction were changing. A giant army of men bathed in black beckoned forth my attention – I would not heed its call. I would stop just short of an alley – the building we stood behind was around twenty meters from their position.

“Ghost. Refer to me as alpha. Now that our objective is complete – we must figure our next course of action. We are definitely unsafe right now – and with our numbers we are sure to be outclassed and outranked if we were to begin the fight here and now. .” With a simple seal my beloved puppet would be summoned to our side – my pinky finger outstretched with chakra connected to the puppets internal systems. “This is Hanzo. . . He will be our infiltrator. . .” I said with a slight smirk. I could not help but take in the words of the council official who stood high upon his podium. He spoke of us, the shinobi alliance, as vermin. It would take a lot for me not to blow up – my anger always got the best of me. With clenched fists and closed eyes tilting my head to the side I would sigh – releasing the anxiety.

“We must figure out their strengths and weaknesses. I will send in Hanzo as a resort of information and intel. We will stand here from behind and map out a surprise attack. After we have figured this out we will commence the strike only after rejoining with the rest of the darkness order. Understood. . .?” I said calmly to her – hoping she had not become startled from the ugly looking crystalline creation. With a nudge of my finger the puppet would shoot towards the sky atop the building and would begin his view over the army of goons. Meanwhile . . . my shadow clone would have been with the group looking over them like a hawk. He would listen to the intel provided by the fashionista. After hearing the information provided from the lot he would then proceed along with the plans I had created him for.

“Alpha and ghost have found the enemy and are mapping out the area for a strike. We must meet with them immediately after disposing of the corpses. We must move quickly. . .” he’d say after stooping down to check the body. It had definitely been burned – possibly the use of katon-based supplements. “Follow me. . .” the clone would demand only after examining the bodies further – summoning forth his greatest speeds to move past the crowd into the heart of the village where the battle would soon commence. The sun sits within the horizon as you – the darkness order – move onwards towards your destiny. The battle that was now to ensue would surely call all of your spirits – filling you with the adrenaline you’d need in order to face this enemy.

Boy, did Kain ever hate this overly formal approach to shinobi work. They were too damn serious, and tried way too hard! Code names, masks, squads? Why didn't they just roll on in and cut them to bits and pieces? He simply couldn't be fucked with sitting around while some ninja had the audacity to attack the village, but at the same time he couldn't do it alone, it was quite the predicament. However much he disliked it though, Kain had tagged along for the duration of the trip, silently trailing behind Coco with a steady walk - his lack of haste leading to his late arrival. Reluctantly he had put on the mask and uniform as the others did, but he knew all too well it would have to come off should any real combat take place.

"This is stupid."

He spoke under his breath, slight annoyance apparent. Thick boots thudded as he casually walked to the cliff face, then without a care in the world he'd walk straight off the 50 meter drop, right arm trailing behind him. Fingers would latch onto the edge and his hand gripped tight, but rather than stopping his fall it would only slow it, as his arm would begin to stretch with every meter he descended, his limb literally being 50 meters long once his feet touched the ground. He lifted his hand off the cliff, and in a matter of seconds the arm was being sucked in like a piece of spaghetti, returning to its original state rather quickly. He arrived just in time to hear they were being split up, Kain being left with the majority whilst the Kage and another aimed to sneak on ahead - which Kain didn't mind whatsoever, in fact he preferred it this way, because now who was stopping him from taking charge? He could care less about the clone after all.

"Right, now that that's over with.."

He pulled the mask from his face and dropped it to the ground, right leg lifting and then dropping sharply, the heel of his boot crushing it to pieces. He wasn't here to play hide and seek, he was here to fight off the enemy forces that were attacking the village; there was no time to play around! Crimson eyes flickered back and forth between the shinobi left with him, the only one he knew being Coco, but so long as she was here he supposed he could put up with the rest of them.

"I don't have time for nicknames and long introductions. My name is Kain and I'm from the Snake clan, so let's get moving."

He marched onwards, now moving at a much quicker pace that contradicted his lazy demeanour that started off this mission. They weren't far from the gates, and the destruction was already apparent. It looked like it didn't take long for three shinobi to be taken out, the fact that one was a jounin suggested the attacking forces weren't to be taken lightly. There was nothing more he could do for them, so he'd instead take the time to search the corpses for any money, items, or anything else useful. Perhaps there were clues? Or money, money was good too.

"Burnt pretty good. Seems fresh enough, they should be up ahead then, huh?"

Kain rose from his kneeling position, straightening himself out and cracking his neck on each side. He was ready to kill anything that got in his way, and the first on his list would be the katon-user that killed the three at the gates. He was going to show them what happened when they picked a fight with somebody their size, and as he took off after the clone, he could only hope that they would get there before they missed too much!
