graduated shinobi several things. Shunshin, Ninjutsu arts, Taijutsu arts,
Genjutsu arts and any other ninja world arts that exist today. For if we don’t
train our prospering children whom desire nothing more than to serve Kumogakure
no Sato, then we as a village are lost. So you as a well trained and gradated
shinobi will take time to show our newly recruited techniques. Make sure to
explain to them how one prospers under such an art. Teach them various things,
for if you fail, we as a village will fall.

Public speaking never really suited Tenshi, nonetheless here
he was in front of a newly graduated class of Genin. They sat in multileveled
auditorium where the seats rose by increments as they receded into the back of
the room. It wasn’t exactly packed but the room was far from empty. All eyes
had fallen upon the young slender Genin as he lightly cleared his throat just
loud enough to announce he was ready. He had a general outline of what he was
going to say, but other than about fifteen minutes of brainstorming this entire
lesson was straight from Tenshi’s head.<o:p></o:p>

“Alright, let’s skip the formalities and get straight to the
fun stuff. Easily one of the best perks to being a shinobi is the amazing
techniques that we get to utilize on a daily basis. Now let’s get a show of
hands. How many of you get tired of being lectured on the importance of
missions, civility, and all those other spills?”<o:p></o:p>

<o:p> </o:p>

Tenshi paused briefly to gaze around as most of the hands in
the room went up.<o:p></o:p>

“Good, because today will be some hands on activity. Catch.”<o:p></o:p>

Tenshi’s hand left his pocket with blinding speeds,
revealing only a glint of metal as it sailed through the air and into the back
wall of the auditorium. As the class turned their attention back towards the
front of the room where Tenshi had just stood, they were surprised to see he
was no longer there. Now, he was standing on the stairs leading up the left
side of the seats with his arms folded across his chest.<o:p></o:p>

“That, was Shunshin, or better known as the body flicker.
While it may look like I moved from one place to another instantly that’s not
the case. Really, all that happens is an extremely high speed maneuver. This
technique is best used with a distraction such as the kunai I just threw and
its limits are your imagination. The body flicker is a very versatile skill you
would be wise to practice.”<o:p></o:p>

As he finished the last few words of his lecture on
Shunshin, Tenshi would thrust his hands into his pockets before walking down
the steps back to where he had originally been standing. Once again he turned
to directly face the class.<o:p></o:p>

“Deception and trickery are a ninja’s best friend, and using
these tactics are the most efficient way to gain the upper hand. Keep in mind;
no matter how many techniques I show you, your own wit is the greatest tool at
your disposal. Despite this, being clever alone won’t save you in the heat of
battle. You’ll need a diversified arsenal to survive and thrive as a ninja. One
of the most common forms of jutsu is Ninjutsu. When performing a Ninjutsu you
must first mold your chakra with your spiritual energy, and after performing
the proper set of hand seals your jutsu will be released. It may sound simple,
but don’t be misled.”<o:p></o:p>

Four swift handseals followed Tenshi’s speech. There within
his dominant right hand, a ball of electricity began to form. The ball of
dancing electricity would sit there within his palm for a few moments longer
before it slowly fizzled out of existence. It wasn’t an extravagant display,
but surely enough to get the attention of the newly graduated Genin.<o:p></o:p>

“There are also two other forms of jutsu, albeit I am ill equipped to show you. The first would be Genjutsu. It is based upon deception and trickery and focus upon the insertion of your own chakra into and opponents mind to manipulate what they sense. There are a few tricks to surviving Genjutsu that will be essential throughout your career. Kai is a useful dispel of sorts, and physical pain is also capable of dispelling the Genjutsu. The real trick though, is to realize you are in the Genjutsu to begin with. These illusions are dangerous, but so is our other jutsu; Taijutsu. Taijutsu is essentially hand to hand combat. As you can imagine, as a shinobi it can be very useful to be practiced in physical combat. Often times you can overwhelm your opposition or prevent be overwhelmed when you are skilled in the physical arts.

Even with all this information I can provide you, it will never compare to actual experience backed by countless hours of training. To be a shinobi you must be dedicated and strong. You are the future of our village, and we rely on you just as much as you rely on us. Don’t let the village down.”

With that, Tenshi would turn to take his leave. He pushed the door open with a firm shove and huddled his cloak around him as he battled the winds of Kumogakure.
