Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)

Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must combine it with a distraction.

Note: Despite popular belief, this is not an ability that allows an individual to teleport, or even move incomprehensibly fast. It simply combines high mobility with some disruption of visibility to conceal those movements. That in mind, if you can conceal your movement, it is common for this technique to allow very long-distance dashes before enemies may notice you.

Fuubaku Houjin is a Ninjutsu technique used by shinobi in conjunction with common explosive devices such as exploding notes. With this, the user can choose when their explosives detonate, opposed to being at the mercy of a countdown.

Note: This ability allows the user detonate his or her explosive notes, opposed to allowing them to be "timed" explosives. Without this technique, the user cannot automatically detonate their tags.

Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

Chakra Consumption: Chakra is split evenly among clones and original
Kage Bunshin is an advanced Ninjutsu technique which grants the user the ability to create a tangible clone. Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's Chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance, to the point the clone can utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows, and spawns with any equipment the user has on them at the time of creation. When the clone finally disperses, any knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones.

Note: This technique is only capable of being learned by Jounin or above. Up to a maximum of five clones can be created. Please note that the user’s Chakra is divided evenly among however many clones they create. Upon being destroyed, whatever remaining Chakra the clone has is given back to the user. Despite having an extended range (virtually limitless), these clones must be created within five meters of the user.

Kibaku-Nendo [525 EXP]

• Tier One - Explosive Ordinances: Through learning to refine and compact their explosive chakra even further, the user now possesses the ability to generate even more powerful explosions for the same amount of chakra. Because of this, the range of all Kubaku-Nendo explosions have been increased by a total of two meters.

• Tier Two - 'Bomb' Voyage: Arguably the most long-ranged fighters in all the world, members of the Kibaku-Nendo pride themselves on how far their creations can travel from their person. However, the issue of eyesight becomes a problem in many situations. Masters of this level have learned to circumvent this fault, but giving all of their creations a "homing" feature. So long as they have seen their target once, these creations will track their target down and automatically explode (presuming they are out of the user's eyesight, and thusly their knowledge of when to detonate) upon breaching a one meter threshold with their target.

Kibaku-Nendo, C1 (Exploding Clay, C1)

This is considered the lowest level of Bakuton created constructs. Simple but deadly, this effective combat technique allows the clan member to use their clay to fashion creatures and animals capable of bearing their unique Bakuton chakra. After withdrawing a bit of clay from their pouch, the clan member will use either hand-mouth in the palms of their hands in order to consume it, in the process infusing it with Blast chakra. The result are these small animated clay-dolls that often resemble animals and insects of nature. Best of all? Depending upon which variation is created, they will retain the abilities of the creatures they where modeled after.

Note: This creations take a full preparation post of “crafting,” after the hand mouth has consumed the clay. This means that the creations cannot be used in the same post that the hands eat the clay.

This technique allows the user to create up to 3 small creatures, such as a cat or bird, per blob of clay. Likewise, they can create one medium sized creature (wolves, lions, larger birds for traveling, etc) per two blobs of clay.

It should be noted that these explosions, at a maximum, can be three meters in size.


Kibaku-Nendo Bunshin (Exploding Clay Clone)

As its name implies, the Exploding Clay Clone is just that - a clone comprised of the clan member's famed clay, which, when infused within their hand-mouths with the power of Blast chakra, can be detonated. Additionally, should one's opponent become intertwined with the clone, they will be held in place and unable to maneuver due to the thick density of the clay. Because of this, this clone can take attacks and capture the enemy by taking them into its own body. The clone shows its natural shape the instant a body goes through. While the clay changes in hardness, the enemy is skilfully immobilized.

Note: Only three clones can be made at any given time, and each clone requires 5 standard clay blobs and a full preparation turn. These clones must remain within thirty meters of their creator, or they will become immobile duds incapable of being detonated. These clones may only perform the Kibaku-Nendo, C1 technique via spending the five clay blobs used to create them. Upon using all of their spare clay, they will crumble as dried clay.


Kibaku-Nendo, C2 Doragon (Exploding Clay, C2 Dragon)

One of the Kibaku-Nendo's specialties, this grand technique requires the use of both of hand-mouths in order to create a large dragon capable of flight, to the point the user can safely ride on its back. During this ride, the user can control the dragon, directing it where to go and even to attack - the dragon can spit out smaller clay figures that attack the opponent like guided missiles, as well as other offensive tactics. These independent missile-like creatures take the form of a greatly reduced version of the larger dragon that created them, yet despite the decrease in size they are still relatively larger than a normal person. Each is capable of tracking their intended target, but as they emerge, they consume a substantial amount of clay from the original dragon, initially extracting it from the creature's tail. This ultimately limits the number that each C2 "Dragon Missile" is capable of creating, before clay must be sacrificed from more vital areas, such as the body or wings. The dragon can also produce clay mines.

Note: This technique requires ten clay blobs, and three posts to prepare at which time no other jutsu may be performed. The dragon is capable of emitting 10 missiles and 25 mines before it will then only be able to serve as a means for transportation. These mines and missiles have a three meter explosion radius.


Kibaku-Nendo, C3 (Exploding Clay, C3)

This technique is said to have the highest concentration of Bakuton chakra, and is arguably the most powerful technique in the Kibaku-Nendo arsenal in terms of raw power and destruction. It is used primarily for decimating larges areas instantly (it was said to be capable of destroying a very large portion of Sunagakure in the series). Though it takes somewhat longer than the typical bombs to make, it undoubtedly carries far more power.

Note: This explosion covers roughly half a kilometer. This ability costs five clay blobs, and requires three preparation posts.

Cunning Mind

This technique allows a kendo master to purge all of their experience into a surreal body movement. This movement allows them to analyze their opponents completely within the users range by studying others and the user tensing their bodies for sudden movements.

Notes: This is fully dependent on role-play movement but just gives the ability to perceive attacks, but not predict. Simply put, this is nothing more than a greater clarity during battle than most shinobi; it will simply offer the user a marginal edge, dependent on the execution of the role-play in question.

This technique is a feint or "pawn" maneuver. By faking to give away a vital area the user of this technique can counterattack just as a strike is being given. But the counterattack is intended to blind or disable the opponent using sweeping slashes with the tip of a slim weapon.

Note: This is a two-part technique. The user will simply strike (the feint), and then when the opponent responds reverse their strike to deliver the true blow.

A Kendo Practitioner knowing of an incoming attack can push forward and bend themselves backwards , almost as if falling to the floor but held up by a singular hand and their feet bent at the knee. A typical example is a power slide. This technique allows a kendo master to set up an accurate counter strike or evade a technique too strong for original evasive maneuvers.

Another deadly technique, by striking a joint or structural point around their opponents body. A kendo user can cause catastrophic damage to a singular point disabling a arm or leg until medical attention is given to the opponent.

Note: This also totally dependent on roleplay ability to accurately tell what has been hit and why it was important enough to disable. However,one struck, the appendage in question will be unusable for the remainder of the thread.

A Kendo practitioner knows that a world full of dangerous people must be met with dangerous force. Using their ferocious piercing talents, a kendo user will strike directly for their opponents eye with pin-point precision, even if the target is moving. This technique is used to destroy their vision completely within that one socket with their chakra infused strike.


Sweeping the Knight

This technique causes a different type of damage. A practitioner of kendo will go for their opponents strengths, whether speed or forming hand-seals. The user will slash outward cutting the appendage in use (legs or arms) to such a degree the user will be slowed down in creation of seals or speed.

Note: The "slow down" for seals will simply be counted as doubling the seal count for all of a victim's jutsu (i.e six would become twelve). As for speed, the victim will simply be reduced to moving at half of their normal speed and be incapable of using passive boosts such as removing ankle weights, the Gates, or Curse Mark. This effect last a total of five posts.


High-Velocity Defense

Being outnumbered or out-forced tends to do something to a persons perception, such as allowing them to deflect and counter techniques at a speed usually unseen in fighting styles. Thanks to Gentleman's Art focusing on counters, however, this incredible level of focus and precision when deflecting techniques becomes entirely possible. Blocking numerous defenders at once, swaying away multiple moves and delivering crushing counters to those that approach, and any projectile thrown at them, a real pinnacle of defensive maneuvers.

Note: This technique will be widely considered a multi-strike counter. While it can be used outside of this purpose, its main priority is the defensive against techniques that allow an opponent to strike multiple times in a single instant.
