BIRTH NAME, tooru was born from a family of desert bandits, who thrived off of unsuspecting travelers, whether kaze no kuni was their home or not. tooru’s family had encountered the kikkawa when he was young, and when the bandit’s attempted to rob and kill the kikkawa, they effortlessly repealed them and killed them off. due to tooru being so young, they decided to take him in and teach him what his family never did or could - raising him to be a kikkawa, bestowing the kikkawa name on him as well.

ANATOMY, physically, one of the first things that someone would notice about tooru is his white hair, the second thing would be it’s unkempt appearance. you wouldn’t be wrong if you assumed that tooru didn’t care much for his outside appearance, in his early days of life, he had been raised by desert bandits who had been ruthless, and didn’t give the slightest about how they looked or dress - and even till this day he doesn’t care. despite growing up in such a rough environment in his youth, there aren’t any scars upon his body that is too bad, but there are many all across his body, save for his face. though he has a small frame, his body is well-built for someone of his age and stature, preferring more of a light and agile body than one which relied more upon strength. his final key feature would be the ruby-red eyes that he had been born with, they were something that hadn’t been common in the world. their beauty had mistaken many for actual jewels within his eye sockets.

APPAREL, it is already a known fact that tooru doesn’t particularly care about his appearance, and because of that he keeps it rather simple, so that preparing for a mission or ever encountering an enemy at any moment isn’t something he would have to do in uncomfortable attire. his base layer is an all black, full sleeved and full pant spandex suit. over the spandex pants, he wears a pair of black pocketless shorts, over his torso he sports a black leather vest and over the vest he wears a short sleeved-hooded light-weight pullover; which is of course all black as well. the pullover has one big pouch compartment in the front of it [x]. upon the back of the pullover he has the kikkawa mon embedded upon it [x], signifying his ties to his new family and his pride it them. other than sporting standard shinobi pouches and kunai holsters, his final item would be a leather mask of his that he had kept with him since the passing of his family [x]. it formerly belonged to his dead father, and tooru only wears it on missions.

To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, as they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. This technique releases many floating fireballs around the user, which take the shape of ghosts at the final stage of the technique. After performing the required hand seal, they attack the opponent in swarms. Each fireball creates a huge flame at the moment of impact. The total amount of fireball demon heads that can be created at once is ten.

Note: Being hit by a flame individually will only cause regular burn damage like any other fire. However if all lantern heads are used to converge at the opponent at once, the flame and explosion has a 10 meter diameter. each individual flame has a 1 meter explosion diameter.

Hinokokyūken is a technique utilized by Tooru through combining Ninjutsu and Taijutsu. Though the name of the technique has ‘fist’ in it, it is not limited to only punches - it can be utilized through the use of kicks as well. The user channels chakra from their core to their limbs, they fill their limbs with Katon chakra, and then once activated their limbs are consumed within flames. Of course, the flames themselves won’t harm the user, nor does it really add anything to a basic punch or kick (or in addition with a Taijutsu technique) other than fire based effects. This technique can be used on both set of limbs, but can’t be crossed used (i.e. fist and foot).

The user first imbues their blade with fire, before slashing in the direction of the desired enemy, resulting in the creation of large arcs of intense flame that follow the trajectory of the previous swing. A skilled user of this technique is capable of surrounding their immediate area with circular walls of flames, incinerating multiple targets even if they approach from numerous angles simultaneously.

Note: These flames must follow the immediate arc of the swing, and thus can and will effect allies if in range. The flames disperse and weaken the further from the sword they travel. After a little more than 3 meters, they are almost benign. Any single arc of fire will cover a 3 meter length along the arc of the swing itself; dragging the arc of flames further will require a greater deal of chakra to be added.

Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must combine it with a distraction.

Note: Despite popular belief, this is not an ability that allows an individual to teleport, or even move incomprehensibly fast. It simply combines high mobility with some disruption of visibility to conceal those movements. That in mind, if you can conceal your movement, it is common for this technique to allow very long-distance dashes before enemies may notice you.

Kawarimi no Jutsu is an Academy Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the user will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object - generally a block of wood, but sometimes even another person - the moment an attack lands. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. From this, the user can use the lapse in the enemy's attention to attack or flee from the battlefield. Explosvie tags can be attached to the placement for an added surprise!

Note: Switch is near-instantaneous. This technique can only be used once per three turn. While one can switch with a variety of things it needs to be within reason, switching with a chair, log, fallen tree is acceptable, but switching with a dust particle is obviously not.

Bunshin no Jutsu is an Academy Ninjutsu technique. After performing a set of handseals, the user creates an intangible copy of themselves. This clone has no substance, so it is not able to attack, and thus can only be used to confuse the enemy. It is mainly used in combination with other Ninjutsu. These clones can be easily distinguished by opponents with Doujutsu, but even opponents with normals eyes can tell tell it apart from the original if they are observant, as the clone does not have a shadow and will not disrupt the area around them with their movement. As soon as this clone comes in contact with an opponent or gets attacked, it will disperse.

Note: The clone's movement speed is equal to the user's. Bunshin cannot mold Chakra to perform jutsu, nor can they physically harm an opponent.

Suimen Hokou no Waza is an Academy Ninjutsu technique, and is a variant of Kinobori no Waza. By emitting a constant stream of Chakra from the bottom of their feet and using this repelling force, the user is able to walk across the water's surface. This technique is vastly more difficult than its counterpart because the amount of Chakra that needs to be focused changes constantly, but it helps to build Chakra control in the user. After much practice, it is even possible to 'skate' across the water's surface instead of just walking or running.

The ninja forms their hands into the seal of the tiger, and then jabs their fingers into the nether regions of their target.
