Appearance: light, slim and fair; three words often used to describe the ensemble of pubscent traits that is Itō. With onyx, firm hair that rolls downwards in a straight fashion, curling at the tips, he maintains a rather boyish charm with his apperance. However crooked teeth and a misaligned nose tend to act as repellents to most due to their grotesque nature. His skin is pale with a few noticeable red marks and pools of acne spread amongst his face. His eyes are brown, beady and far apart.



Apparel: Whilst fancy dress was never Itō's strong suit, appropriate dress was. Itō has always opted for a more lighter approach to apparel, simply wearing a pale grey stained pair of shorts with an equally drab grey t-shirt however due to Itō's kenjutsu based fighting style, he tends to wear a (surprise surprise) gray robing with several black kanji written on the back, their meaning is some set of cliches, "hard" "fierce".

History: born to a family of labourers, Itō grew into a rather ordinary life, gaining the basic ninja academy qualification and becoming a genin. However he a liking to swords, he never really excelled past his peers in the art of kenjutsu but his dedication across the years led to him being known as one of the more promising genin talents due to his expertise and unique style. Instead of the firm and rigid kenjutsu taught, Itō employed his own acrobatic, light, swift and unorthodox style, often beating out his peers in weapon combat. Then once imprisoned for being a shinobi he was kept on anaesthesia to keep him from causing trouble, however the effects of prolonged anaesthesia on a growing brain caused Itō to lose most of his personality.



Personality: formerly warm, go lucky and entertaining, once he entered his state of gimp due to the prolonged anaesthesia he was kept under in his cell, he became spaced out, short of attention and pertinent.

Description: The exploding note is a piece of parchment paper infused with special chakra, layered over with a special script on it that serves to enable and facilitate its explosive properties. Its execution is simple - the ninja can attach the note to another object such as a kunai or log, and upon activation, the note is set and begins either a slow countdown burn, which eventually results in a large explosion, or the explosion in itself upon command. The range is 0 to 5 meters.

With their weapon sheathed, the user focuses their sense to the utmost and then draws and slices within one quick and precise movement. While basic in nature, this techniques forte lies in its accuracy; allowing the user to strike with such precision they could target an arrowhead flying toward them.

Note: Weapon must be sheathed to utilize. User has perfect accuracy for this strike.


Kidō Henkō (Trajectory Change)

A Kenjutsu practitioner will hold their weapon with both hands and strike at a target; watching for the moment they try to block the strike. At the last moment, the user will switch the positions of their left and right hand on their weapon and quickly alter the course of their blade.

Shisen (Line of Sight)

The user will first place the hand on the same side as their weapons on the sheath of the smaller blade near the hilt. Charging their thumb with an amount of chakra, they will flick the guard of the smaller blade causing the weapon to rocket forward; aimed at the targets face. This weapon will not only surprise the opponent but also block their vision as the user quickly steps in to strike with their other blade.

Note: Requires user to carry Daisho(pairing big and small Katana) or something equivalent on one side of their waist.


Tsukesagiri (Cut and Thrust)

The user starts off with a normal two-handed cut but at the users discretion, they will release one hands grip on the weapon, leaving the weapon held near the hilt of the other hand. The user will then thrust the arm still holding the weapon while also taking a step forward with the leading leg. This turns the users slash into an unexpected, quick, and long reaching thrust.

Batto (Battojutsu)

A practitioner of Battojutsu has but one objective and that is to cut their opponent. This desire manifest itself in the form of an illusion created from their will. When a Battojutsu practitioner is about to strike, their body gives off the illusion of a duplicate arm or even body; two blades aimed at different targets. This illusion makes it difficult for the target to pinpoint which blade is the true danger.

Nibaigiri (Double Cut)

Joushou Giri (Rising Cut)

A highly unorthodox skill but useful nonetheless. Starting from any vertical slash from below, the user will release the grip of their weapon once the slash has reached its apex height causing the blade to be hurled into the air a short distance. The user will then extend their sheath upward where the blade will always perfectly fall back into its sheath.

Note: The user can decide how long their blade is within the air with a maximum duration of one turn. The blade will always fall perfectly into its sheath assuming the user performs the required motions and has not moved too far from the location they tossed their blade.


Morote Giri (Two Handed Cut)

A straightforward and simple technique but highly dangerous when used at the right moment. The user will hold their weapon with both hands before raising it above their head. Gathering chakra to the blade, they perform a simple vertical slash with a shocking degree of power.

Note: There is a momentary charge equal to one hand seal before the technique is unleashed. This technique is capable of cleaving through a single B-rank or below jutsu.

A most basic and yet vital maneuver for an Iaijutsu user is the ability to sheathe their weapon to prepare for future techniques. This skill is a basic function of mastery Kenjutsu practitioners have obtained after unsheathing and sheathing their weapons on a daily basis. While seen as a dangerous and foolish move to do in the midst of battle, practitioners have learned to sheathe their weapon will insane levels of speed no matter their stance.

Note: Allows the user to near instantaneously sheathe their weapon no matter their condition.

The most basic but far from useless technique within the Iaijutsu arsenal. Starting with their weapon sheathed, the user will quickly draw their blade to parry incoming attacks before instantly sheathing their weapon in preparation of their next maneuver.

Note: A maximum of three techniques can be parried per use at an incredibly fast, almost "simultaneous" rate. It should be noted that these parries must be plausible, and simply because a user can defend relatively quick does not mean they are immune to being struck.


Sorashimaru (Deflect)

With their weapon sheathed, the practitioner will unsheathe their blade and quickly strike down incoming projectiles, either slicing them or redirecting their path. Useful when faced with opponents that prefer to strike from a distance, as long as the user is able to spot the incoming threat in time.

Note: Up to 15 projectiles can be parried per use

An Iaijutsu practitioner will quickly unsheathe their weapon to defend against an incoming attack but instead of pitting force against force, the user will clash and redirect their opponents weapon to the side. And then taking a quick step forward causing either their body or shoulder to slam into the opponent; sending them flying backwards.

Note: Target is sent flying back 3 meters upon being hit.

Iaijutsu (Art of the Aware and Prepared)

While Iaijutsu is mostly known for its shocking speed and form when sheathing and unsheathing their weapon, its roots lie in its defensive nature. Its name serving to teach practitioners that it is those who are aware of their surroundings and prepared for anything that move to be invincible warriors. As is similar to the origin of Iaijutsu where its use lay in helping the practitioner defend themselves when caught by surprise. Due to this nature, when the Iaijutsu practitioner has their weapon sheathed, they instinctively heighten their focus and senses to prepare for any surprise attacks.

Note: Only works when the weapon is sheathed; will not work with the weapon drawn. Iaijutsu practitioners gain a "Sixth Sense" equal in range to their arm length and weapon. Anything that enters this range is immediately sensed allowing for the practitioner to properly defend should they have the capability to do so.


Mukō-ka (Nullification)

Considered to be the "true" form of Kawasu, the user will start with their weapon sheathed and then draw with high speed to parry an incoming attack. The difference between this technique and Kawasu however is that an equal amount of chakra is applied to the incoming attack; completely nullifying its strength and putting both attacks on even ground.

Note: Can only be used once per turn. Chakra reduction masteries do not work with this technique.

Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must combine it with a distraction.

Note: Despite popular belief, this is not an ability that allows an individual to teleport, or even move incomprehensibly fast. It simply combines high mobility with some disruption of visibility to conceal those movements. That in mind, if you can conceal your movement, it is common for this technique to allow very long-distance dashes before enemies may notice you.

Fuubaku Houjin (Exploding Seal Method Formation)

Fuubaku Houjin is a Ninjutsu technique used by shinobi in conjunction with common explosive devices such as exploding notes. With this, the user can choose when their explosives detonate, opposed to being at the mercy of a countdown.



Note: This ability allows the user detonate his or her explosive notes instantly, opposed to their normal "timed" explosion. Without this technique, the user cannot automatically detonate their tags.

The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.
