Kubikiribouchou (Decapitating Cleaver)

The Kubikiribouchou is a massive broadsword shaped like a giant butcher knife, passed down from generation to generation amongst the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. Though not exclusive to them, the fact the blade's most famous user's hail from said group eludes to the propriety Mizugakure had over it. It has a circle cut out of the top and a semicircle near the handle, which, as demonstrated by its most recent wielder prior to his deathi, seem to fit the sword's purpose of decapitation aptly, and the latter gives something to wrap a back strap around in order to carry the weapon. Its extremely long handle is detachable, the user able to screw it off before travelling and reattaching it for combat.

Despite being well-trained, even the strongest of shinobi have noted that the heaviness of the blade could tire them out easily, thus requiring an apt Taijutsu mastery in order to wield properly. Like every other weapon used by the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, the sword possesses a unique power, this being its ability to reform itself using the iron harvested from its victims' blood. This regenerative process takes place almost instantly, and is capable of bringing the weapon back to its original perfect condition no matter how severe the damage is, from a simple chip or a nick to a completely missing half of the blade.

Kubikiri Bouchou (Decapitating Carving Knife)

Special: The Decapitating Carving Knife is shaped like a giant butcher knife. It has a circle cut out of the top (near the handle) and a semicircle near the handle, which, as demonstrated by previous owners, seem to fit the sword’s purpose of decapitation aptly while also giving something to wrap a back strap around. Its handle is detachable via screwing and unscrewing it, and can also slide deeper (half a foot) into the blade to shorten its reach, albeit slightly. Though incredibly large and cumbersome to wield, the blade has the unique power to reform itself from the iron harvest from its victims’ blood. The blade can reform its entire metallic structure by consuming the blood of eight full grown individuals. On a smaller scale, the constant drawing of opponent’s blood will reduce and remove any nicks or imperfections caused by usual wear and tear.
