Special: Range at which river can be created and width of the river depend on the user's highest 'Earth Dominion' rank. River originates from the user's feet, and moves at the speed of 1 meter per second, plus 1 more each time retrained for a maximum of 10 meters per second.
Description: After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will transform the ground upon which the enemy stands into a river of mud. This river suddenly materializes flowing at fast paces completely against the direction the opponent is moving, making movement very, very difficult. The river itself shoots in a relatively straightly line, and as the user's rank increases, so does their skill with this technique. Excellent for slowing people down and facilitating escapes, as the mud itself is highly constricting.

Tsukara, the Shell of the Earth

Type: Primary / Melee / Sword
Description: A modified Wakizashi with a blade that extends just slightly beyond the natural length of a wakizashi. Though longer than a standard Wakizashi, it is shorter than an average Katana, with a blade length of 55 cm from base to point. The weapon is fashioned in traditional Japanese sword style, with a curved blade and sharp on both sides. At the end of the blade exists a thick (1/2 inch) and wide (1/3 inch), circular guard of a dark green color, with a grip of the same color that extends down about 11 inches, allowing for easy two-handed use, although still capable of one-handed use as well. The weapon is devoid of a standard pommel, and instead simply tapers off. It is sheathed inside of a dark green, metallic sheath, which causes a slight ringing sound whenever the blade is withdrawn quickly. When wielded by a Doton user, additional abilities may make themselves known, although it is important to note that using the techniques can cause an extreme strain of chakra and stamina.

Tsuchiritsu (Earth Commandment)[/u] 175

Range: Starts out only being able to effect the area immediately touching the blade. Every Rank above D rank increases the range by 5 meters.
Consumption: Low - Medium, depending on how much earth is gathered.
Special: Uses chakra to pull base elements out of the atmosphere and condense them, forming solid rock material capable of being used for Doton ninjutsu.
Description: The basis for the majority of the techniques utilized by the Tsukara. When a Doton user wields the Tsukara, he or she is capable of channeling Doton chakra into the weapon, causing the blade of the sword to gift of a dim, dark green glow. By releasing the chakra from the weapon into the air, an act normally accomplished by moving the sword through the air, the user is capable of creating solid rock material which can be used for other Doton ninjutsu or other things. The amount of rock created is limited by the range of this technique.

Special: Creates a wall of solid rock from a sword slash, which can be used to protect the user from all sorts of attacks.
Description: By anticipating an incoming attack, the wielder of the Tsukara may gather their Doton chakra and slash the sword through the air, creating a wall of up to 5 meters by 5 meters of solid stone directly in front of them. The strength of the wall is dependent on the amount of chakra utilized. The wall is capable of halting one incoming attack of the same Rank as it before crumbling, although it may sustain multiple blows from lowering ranking jutsu.
Domain: Must have Tsuchiritsu of the corresponding Rank.
Katsui (Ripspike)[/u]

Type: Ninjutsu / Kenjutsu / Offensive
Range: 10 meters
Consumption: Low
Special: Creates a spike of earth from a slash of the Tsukara that will fly towards an opponent and attempt to impale it.
Description: Through a quick slash through the air, the user releases Doton chakra from Tsukara, creating a large, 3 meter in length and one meter in width, spike of solidified earth towards the opponent at speeds just slower than an average speed kunai, unless the attack came from above, where increased momentum causes the spike to fall at speeds slightly above a kunai. Only one spike may be created per slash. The spike may only retain its trajectory surely for 10 meters; after that, the rock will follow the laws of gravity and will take the shortest path down.
Domain: Must have Tsuchiritsu 'C' Rank.
